We were in The Woodlands for the weekend and found this place to have a drink and share a plate. The atmosphere and the place itself were great. And the outdoor seating was very nice. I thought the food was good, but the service and the place were the main attraction. Though if you are a fan of dark beer the Old Rasputin was really good. The burger was ok. The beignets were a nice way to finish off our drinks and our evening. We would come back? Yes, for the atmosphere alone.

My husband and I came here for a bunch and really enjoyed our food. Their pancakes are huge, the chicken salad was yummy and the Espresso Martini was delicious! My husband enjoyed his steak sandwich as well. Service was overall good. Our server seemed busy and it took awhile to get our drinks plus we had to wait awhile for our check. But most of the staff was dialed in. The atmosphere is fun and stylish. We look forward to going back.

I was really looking forward to trying this place--my husband and I love whiskey bars, and the decor here is absolutely on point. It has a warm, Texan whiskey lounge vibe that feels both rustic and upscale, which immediately drew us in. We sat at the bar and ordered the House Old Fashioned and Avocado Toast. Unfortunately, both fell short. The Old Fashioned was just okay--nothing memorable--and the avocado toast was extremely plain. For a restaurant, I expected something a bit more elevated; it honestly felt like something I could've easily made at home. We also had some sliders, which were not memorable. What made the experience even more disappointing was the service. Our bartender seemed disinterested and disengaged, which added to the overall lackluster feel of our visit. We really wanted to love this place, but sadly, neither the food, drinks, nor service lived up to the ambiance. It has great potential, but right now, it's more style than substance.

Cute brunch spot in The Woodlands. They had a DJ that set the vibe and food and drinks were enjoyable. Service was friendly and prompt.

The place was stunning-like stepping into a living art piece, where every corner flips the script on the vibe. Tucked-in booths felt intimate, almost secret, while the open spots buzzed with that electric hum. Food? Spot-on. We got sugar barrel steak … it’s not sweet or anything . The butter burger was amazing. I ate so much a nearly split my pants. The bar was good too. Excellent service excellent food we will definitely return!

Came for dinner with the family. David was our service was so kind and patient with us! We ordered drinks and appetizer to start. The blood orange Paloma and pineapple elixir were AMAZING! The corn fritters were yummy. For the table, we ordered a ribeye, burgers, and an avocado salad with a side of Brussels sprouts. The Brussels sprouts were so sweet! The burgers were so delicious and the fries were cut fresh potatoes. The green beans and baby potatoes with the steak was so good too. The table favorite was the apple pie! You won’t regret it!!

This restaurant.... Hands down one of the best experiences I have ever had. Service beyond fantastic, food unbelievable and the recommendations are top tier. Ask for Heather. Will not regret.

Made a reservation here before going to a show across the street at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Although it was quite busy, the service was as fast as it could have been which was great. The "I'm the Driver" mock-tail was delicious. Great blend of citrus and peachy flavors, and was really fresh. I ordered the street corn poppers. I wasn't sure what to expect from the description of the dish just being "deep fried corn poppers", but was surprised to see they were more of a hush puppy style. The flavor wasn't bad but they did taste a little "off" like maybe the oil in the fryer was getting old and needed to be changed soon. I didn't end up finishing them.

I came here with my parents while they were in town for the rodeo. I made reservations, which was super easy to do online. When we walked in, there was live music, which was SO LOUD (and also not very good) so we decided to sit outside, but the music was still so loud we could barely hear each other. We started with drinks. Both my parents got the Bosscat and I got the Pineapple Sage Elixir. I really enjoyed my drink, but the cocktail list is so extensive I think I would try something else. For my entrée, I got the Cornmeal Crusted Catfish, which was served over mushroom risotto. The sweet chili garlic sauce on top was AMAZING; if they sold bottles of it, I would buy one. The risotto and the fish itself was also very good and I would definitely recommend this dish. My stepdad got the Cajun Brick Chicken, which he said was very good, especially the dirty rice. Overall, I think the food and the drinks were amazing. The service here was not very good. There were long wait times between when our waiter would come take our drink or food order and we had to wait a very long time for the check. Overall, the poor service and the loud music was not great, but I would probably come back here (on a night with no live performances).

Maybe it's just me, but after giving Bosscat two tries, I was about ready to call it quits with this one. Luckily the third visit showed this spot in a new light. For my second visit, I gave Bosscat a go for my birthday dinner, and ofcourse they showed out in signature fashion, killing the interior design of their sparkly new market street location! The interior featured dark, moody, accents, cigar boxes housing silverware, large decorated seats, a bar open to the covered patio and many touches big and small to continue to define the personality of Bosscat. From our visit they're still training it seemed, but not to worry, it's a new location, and that's to be expected but caused a few notable bumps in the service were difficult to overlook. As far as food, we tried the country bread, a dish of, well, warm fried bread (not to be confused with fry bread- think donut, but savory). Def an experience, and a win for a few members of our party, but not a dish I would personally order again. I moved on to the catfish, and have to say that the mushroom risotto was pretty tasty. Catfish itself was well fried, overly hot when it arrived (burn your palate hot), but when cooled was fine. The homemade sweet chili garlic sauce pairing felt similar to the sweet and sour on crab Rangoon. Possibly it was the texture, but as a pairing, it was a hard pass for me. I'll try another dish next time. When booking the reservation it was mentioned that I was celebrating a birthday, this was confirmed by the waitress when we were seated, but while we saw two other nearby table receive birthday desserts, we did not. A newer restaurant, well chop it up to training. No manager visit, no birthday dessert, no dish I'd return for on this, or my first visit until... Enter visit #3. Out server was far more attentive, and although we had to pay double the happy hour price for the dish we wanted 30ish minutes prior to happy hour start time, we were grateful to see it was offered. Now, if you're visiting I highly recommend the savory decedent brisket grilled cheese and the Smokey, delightfully luscious Mac and cheese (maybe not all at once...or bring a few friends). Both are worth whatever future consequences they have on my health. This one for me is still a split decision, so I'm looking forward to round 4.

Met up with some friends for a birthday dinner and we had a great time overall. Upon entering, the ambiance was very nice. I loved the lighting and the decor a lot. It was very unique and captivating (great for photos). On our reservation I put that we were celebrating a birthday and they made sure to mar our friend feel very special. They had a birthday sign, birthday shot and a free dessert for him as well. We all enjoyed our cocktails as well as the food. I only gave 4 stars because I was disappointed with the shrimp on my salad. Other than that I really enjoyed it and will definitely be back.

Great location! The hostess was very nice and a friendly greeting as we walked in. The waiter was very helpful and didn't leave our side. The food was A+!! Mushroom fries were awesome, and the homemade chips and queso as very nice. We each had a salad and the portions were great. Excellent drink menu as well!!

It was my first time at Bosscat. I loved the atmosphere, decor, service and food. The waitress mentioned that they have live music on Thursday nights and DJ for Sunday brunch. I will definitely be going back during this time for the live music.

Came to celebrate my best friends birthday and it was perfection! Music, service, drinks and everything were so much fun! Daniel was an incredible server with patience of a saint!

Rude server, under seasoned food, incorrect menu at brunch and way too long for food to arrive. All that wait for something terrible. Bartender however did make a killer espresso martini.

Stopped by here for some quick food before attending Fall Out Boy / Bring Me The Horizon show at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion and was pleasantly surprised. We asked for a table for two and the hostess told us that the only table available was reserved about 2 hours after our arrival so we would have to be done before then. This wasn't an issue since we were going to be at the show by then already anyway. Our server, I think Joe was his name if I remember correctly, was friendly, helpful, and was able to answer all questions that we had about the menu. He also reminded us about the happy hour menu and the fact that we still had plenty of time to order from the happy hour menu. This was an awesome reminder because for whatever reason, I kept thinking it was the weekend (it was a Tuesday, y'all). Anyway, we ordered the Avocado Toast, the Short Rib Grilled Cheese, and the Butter Burger from the happy hour menu; and we also ordered the Pork Belly Poutine from the appetizer menu. We ordered a few items because we were a little worried about the portion size of the happy hour menu but I have to say, they were decent sized. Anyway, it was a great experience at this Bosscat location. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent ambiance, with reasonable prices; especially during happy hour. Definitely wouldn't making this a regular stop before attending a concert at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

Loved the ambiance in here! So cozy and dark. The big leather chairs were incredibly comfy. We shared the country bread and brought a good amount home with us. It's delicious but very filling. I had the spinach salad w/ grilled shrimp and forgot to grab that photo because it looked too good! I couldn't help but dive right in. Big salad! Full of flavours that complement each other. Aside from the pictured cocktails, I also had a couple glasses of the sparkling rosé. It was excellent! As was our service... I'm sadly forgetting our waiter's name but he was perfect! Attentive, friendly, apologetic for any lateness- which was never an issue. We were enjoying every minute!

When I ordered my drink, I asked the waitress for a Weller on the rocks. There is ONE Weller listed on the main portion of the whiskey menu. The waitress, without clarifying, then served me a 12-year aged Weller. I had no idea until I went to pay and was charged $30 for a glass of whiskey I thought was $8. I brought it to the waitresses attention and she showed zero care and didn't offer to fix it. It would have helped if the food made up for it. The fries were bland and the fried chicken sandwich was overcooked and dry. Wildly overpriced and very disappointed.

I just love this place! Great food, outstanding service, great cocktail and vibes. It perfect for an occasion - they made my birthday dinner feel so special. Girls nights and date nights would also be great here. The poutine appetizer is sooo good as is the burger and crispy chicken sandwich. Don't sleep on the kale salad! They take reservations which I always take advantage of

We enjoyed Bosscat. The service was really good and the ambiance is a fun vibe. Our table tried a variety of dishes and all were good and well prepared. Not sure how I felt about the pork poutine; it did come out hot hot but was lacking flavor IMO. The Expresso Martini was def on the more bitter side but I really enjoyed the pickled veggies the most! Just a unique different appetizer option that I can appreciate.

I'll give it 4 stars for the atmosphere and the drinks. The food was okay... good, but in my opinion not great for the prices they charge. I've only been there three times. Twice for brunch ( extremely loud music) and once for happy hour at the bar. I'm going to skip the brunch visits but I really enjoyed the bar service at happy hour and delicious appetizers.

There really is no better place for delicious, rich, cozy comfort food than Bosscat in The Woodlands. I and my work friends often frequent the Bosscat by the Galleria, because it's one of the best HH spots near our office, so I was excited to try their new location closer to home. We were celebrating my niece's birthday, and they did a wonderful job acknowledging it! When we arrived at the table, there was a "Happy Birthday" placard and a card at the table. She was tickled! We started with the Totchos, which is truly the best attempt at tater tot nachos I've had (and I've tried a few!) they prepare tater tots PROPERLY: very crispy and pleasantly salty! Topped with the nacho cheese, chorizo, and egg? OMG. OMG. OMG. Pure comfort. My sister had the Loco Moco, and she let me try it. Again, OMG. Pure comfort in a bowl. I will be ordering that next time! My niece had the Monte Cristo, and it, too, was delicious and enormous. I ordered the most boring dish at the table: the burger, but it, too, was delicious. I would have liked more cheese on it. The tots were perfection. They gave my niece a choice between dessert and a shot for her birthday... she opted for the shot and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a gorgeous restaurant (touches of industrial but warmed by brick walls and wood floors. While the hostesses seemed a bit icy, our server was outstanding!Hands down, this will be my go-to place for casual but epic comfort food.

Stopped in for brunch at boss cat, restaurant was fairly busy but we had awesome service. Food was delivered as expected, drinks were good. The restaurant was clean and nice design inside. Would come back.

Short rib grilled cheese, butter burger, Texas Whiskey flight, steak fries, Oso Bueno beer. Now that's what we call happy hour 3-6, at this clubby wonderful restaurant. Dark leather, wood, couches, makes on believe you're in a private club, somewhere in St James neighborhood of London! Service was excellent. I'd love to return!

No. Not worth your money, everything here is mid to low quality. The burger had very flat dry bun, the tater tots were no better than a fast food chain. The chilaquiles were so boring I was so disappointed at how dry and crispy the chips were it was actually embarrassing. Please save your money and stay home because honestly every food item was easy to make at home.

Wow! I have been wanting to try Bosscat for a bit. Tonight I went with a sweet friend and Bosscat had their Monday night steak deal going on! Every month they change up a bit. It was $24.99 for a NY strip with a pasta and bread roll and a salad. Pretty great deal. Next time I'm going to try the sugar barrel steak! Highly recommended and looks delicious. We ordered the spring fling mock tail which was refreshing- 10/10 We started with the pig candy app-10/10 delicious and unique. Ahi tuna wraps were good, kind of smoky in flavor-9/10. The steak was pretty good and the pasta was very fresh!-10/10 We shared the chocolate bourbon buttermilk bar. That was really good, it was quite rich and even sharing was a lot but the flavor was great. The chef brought out at least two of our dishes which was a nice touch. The restaurant itself is beautiful and felt themed. I was amazed by the design and seating. It was quiet on a Monday evening, be sure to get a reservation because other nights it will be poppin. Enjoyed!! Good food. Great service. Spectacular environment!! The short rib was very good and the shrimp and grits was also good. I think it's a great place for lunch, dinner, or for just a get together.

Saturday around 1:15-2:00 The wait was around 10-15 min for two. Ordered : Drinks: The good life (tastes like koolaide. Not very strong but good) Pineapple elixir (I liked it; friend didn't. I would reorder) The Scarlett (tastes stronger- can't REAAAALLY taste the ginger) Food wise : Smokehouse Benedict - it was seasoned/ flavorful. I'm getting this next time. Monte Cristo ($18) - very good. Crust was thick, so I ended up eating 1/2 the bread. Would reorder. Wish it were open-faced. Asked for an extra sauce. It was charged at $0.50, which is fine, but there should never be a surprise at the end when the bill comes. It should be expressed when ordered "that'll be a 0.50 up charge, is that okay?" Waitress was attentive. Area clean Parking is very competitive though, there is a parking garage close too.

Amazing vibe!!! Great brunch! Vibe Kick ass vibe & decor! You've got classy staff in black, like fine dining, paired with the Bosscat B in combat boots! Love the classy leather egg chairs, "I'm addicted to you & whiskey" light up sign, and tuto (all the things-Italian)!!! Food I enjoyed the flapjacked banana nut protein pancakes that come with eggs and chicken sausage. Added avocado, bacon, and cheese! Perf! Enough for two to share because you get 2 pancakes!!! Drinks We both ordered the two bloody Mary's on the menu! I enjoyed the flaming hot topped with flaming Cheetos and an olive. It's a bit pickle flavored so if you like that, it's perf. I ordered a double, one shot with the black pepper vodka and added a shot of Tito's. Service, drinks, and food were all amazing!

We returned for Sunday brunch and we're not disappointed. Detaches were warm and crisp and lathered in chorizo and cheese. The fruity pebbles French toast withice cream was a taste explosion and the perfect brunch dessert. Excellent service.

I'm so glad to know that the hipster/industrial ambiance that's had a chokehold on every restaurant's interior in recent years is here to stay! They have neon light signs, balloon chairs, and even a fireplace that make the perfect Instagram background while you sip over priced cocktails. I tried Bosscat on a weeknight and the service was quite slow. Took our group 10-20 mins to receive our drink orders despite the bar/restaurant not being overly crowded. Our waiter forgot to place my drink order and so I had to wait about 30 minutes to get one drink at 8:30pm on a Wednesday. I ended up having to eat my food sans drink. He did apologize but it really ruined the vibe. We only got one round of drinks in total and decided to go to HopScholar instead where we could have a similar ambiance in their speakeasy area but with quick/decent service. I will say that despite our rough drink experience, the food was delivered fast and was quite good. I definitely recommend the hush puppies. Parking is easy enough and I would suggest using the big lot behind Mastros (across the street). For the price of the drinks and the super slow service to get them, I personally wouldn't go back. Order mistakes happen but it didn't seem like they cared one way or another if I had a drink to go with my meal or not.

The waitstaff was nice and efficient. Friendly but not super well organized informed about the offerings. The food was good-had the butter burger. But it wasn't something I would go out of my way to get. I would try something else the next time. We went at lunch and the room was pleasant and easy to hear everyone at the table. Liked the decor.

If you're looking for an Instagram-worthy backdrop to a very tasty cocktail, this is the place! We've stopped in a few times, including on New Year's Eve, for a drink and their cocktail list always hits. Their rotating dessert menu doesn't disappoint either! The bartenders have always been attentive and make sure to keep your water filled (important when your drink is strong!).

First time visiting Bosscat and really loved everything about it. Cool vibe. Nice decor. Great service. We started with two appetizers, the spicy chicken and cheese dip and the kansas city chicken meatballs. Both were so good. The chicken and cheese dip had just the right amount of spice and came with house made potato chips. The chicken meatballs were super moist and were topped with a house made kansas city style BBQ sauce, melted cheeses, and crispy jalapenos. The BBQ sauce was excellent! For entrees, we ordered the shaved pork chop sandwich with fries and the sugar barrel steak which came with green beans and a jalapeno and cheese potato. Everything was very good. Steak was the chef's cut and a little fatty for me to order it again but overall had a great taste.

I sat at the bar and every single bartender was amazing, attentive and they work seamlessly as a team which was really nice - I was checked on regularly but never too much. Perfect balance. Great brunch! I had the Aperol Spritz (actually 2) and it was a perfect drink for a sunny afternoon. We started with the beignets, very good and just the right size app for two. I had the veggie omelet and it was loaded with broccoli!! Absolutely love it!! Hubs had the burrito, he said it was good but a lot of food! Overall vibe was great, food was good, and drinks were even better. We'll be back.

This is a must visit restaurant while in The Woodlands. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the Bourbon selection is amazing. Our server Katt was incredible. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She had great recommendations (had the Cajun Brick Chicken). Finished off with the Banana Pudding that Chef Ricardo made. Highly recommend this location not only for the food but the great conversations with Katt and Chef Ricardo.

Just came into Texas for work and decided to eat here for lunch and grab some drinks. It was phenomenal food and atmosphere! Dan was a great server and very attentive!!

Hipster atmosphere similar to Whiskey Cake. If you like listening to the same 5 songs over and over again, like Miley Cyrus's "Party in the USA" and the new "Fast Car" cover...then you will feel right at home here. Our server was nice and attentive. Food is mediocre. Nothing I would want to eat again. 3 drinks and 2 starters will cost you $85.

First time visit Friday afternoon what a great find! Staff Nikki & Hasante were wonderful and attentive! The drink I ordered was a Wouldn't You! A fresh Cucumber Cocktail made to perfection! Also ordered Avocado Toast very flavorful! I will be back to enjoy more of what the menu has to offer! This will definitely be on my Go To Spots!

This place is my favorite! Sit at the bar and let Andrew and Hasante take amazing care of you! They will make your dining experience top notch! Andrew and Hasante are knowledgeable about the drinks and the menu and create the perfect experience for dining! The restaurant is beautiful, no matter if you are at the bar or a table, inside or out!

Bosscat Kitchen & Libations, I'm officially declaring that your inviting and exquisitely decorated establishment is THE locale for Sunday brunch in The Woodlands. Bravo!! I was immediately impressed by the smooth beats that greeted me as I walked inside of the uber chic restaurant and whiskey club. The music had this country boy lockin' and poppin' it like I was back in da day (ask your parents to explain this statement). I meet my group of lovely friends for our monthly Sunday brunch also known Sunday Funday. Our wonderful server was very helpful and guided us on which dishes to try. I highly recommend the Shrimp and Grits (with creamy Gouda, and Creole spices. Add an egg). For something a little lighter, try the tasty Avocado Toast (with flavorful heirloom tomatoes, and freshly cracked pepper. Also add an egg). You won't go wrong with many of the other delicacies such as the Flap Jacked or Old Faithful. Finally, if their impressive whiskey list is a little more robust than what you're looking for to wash down your amazing meal, Don't. Forget. The. Prosecco! Reservations are strongly encouraged, so bon appetit my friends.

So I've been to the Houston location a few times and so I was super happy that they opened up one in the Woodlands area. The vibes are so chic and the service was great. The drinks were refreshing and delicious. Now, the food - AWESOME. We had the maple brussels and the sugar barrel steak and all of it was so tasty. Definitely recommend this place!

One of the best Sunday brunch in town. We loved our waiter Alex. Alex went above and beyond in customer service and made our whole experience that much better. We can't wait to come back for more.

The vibe is just right...good energy but not over the top, music was well done with the onsite DJ (good beat and variety without overwhelm). And the food - unique but not weird. Fantastic flavors. Right temperature. And the service was stupid-good. From the front door all the way through, the people serving were on it every step of the experience.

Food was honestly enjoyable and so were the drinks. We got seasonal lemonade, aperol spritz, and a michelada for drinks. For food we ordered a loco moco, and a breakfast burrito. So why three stars, you might ask? It was the service. Our server was very sweet and engaging, asked us a bunch of questions may be because she felt bad. We ordered our drinks and waited, and we saw a server with a michelada and a different drink. The table they took both the drinks to hadn't ordered the michelada so it was ours but did we get it? No, it took may be about ten more minutes. After that, I got my loco moco however, my hubby got a French toast with fruity pebbles, and this lady who brought us our food was poof gone before we could even say we didn't order it. So, we sat there and waited. We were able to get her attention like 7/8 minutes later and then our server also came and took that plate away. The server was apologetic but she didn't confirm that we were getting a breakfast burrito so we were concerned. She said we'll get our food in about 8 mins or so. Mind you, I'm waiting to eat with husband because it's a Saturday and we wanted to enjoy our meals together. So, after what seemed like a long wait, we got our food. I started eating and the server asked if my food is still warm and I said it wasn't. She said aww I'm sorry and walked away. Well, if you weren't going to offer to heat it up, why ask? Anyways, it seemed like a fun place. They have both outdoor and indoor seating areas and although we were frustrated, it wasn't a bad place to be. I did expect, they'd offer some kind of a discount or a free dessert or something but nothing was really done to make our experience better so that definitely left a little bad taste in my mouth. As a result, we weren't too generous with our tip either. We're local and we love eating out. We might go back someday and I hope we have a better experience.

I visited Houston a few months ago and still thinking about this meal. We eat out a lot and I can confidently say this was the BEST meal all year! I got the 12 or 13 hour braised short rib in black pepper sauce over scalloped potatoes. The short rib was so tender and full of flavors. Even the greenbeans had me drooling, I'm genuinely confused how they got all of this to taste as good as it did. The atmosphere was also really nice, dark moody vibes inside. The staff were very polite and attentive. We were unsure on drinks and our waitress had bartender come over and we explained some things that we like and they were able to pull something together. I highly recommend and will be back!

The service was spectacular. the ambiance is very welcoming. The food we ordered was the NY steak. Was magnificent and delicious. The drink I ordered the the bosscat very tasty. Reserved the whiskey room, it was very private and beautiful decorations . I would recommend this restaurant for anniversaries and first time dates.

This place is so cute inside. Would be perfect for a date. The fried apple pie is about the only thing I have tried, but even if you go for just that and drinks, you will not be disappointed. It was DELICIOUS!

The wait staff showed excellent service and the food quality was good, but I would have to say the whiskey, selections Are phenomenal
