18 Best Restaurants in Bali | Condé Nast Traveler

"If you pass by a tiny Seminyak burger joint with a megawatt interior reminiscent of Puff Daddy video sets of the mid-‘90s, you’ve discovered BO$$MAN. Proclaimed by most to be the best spot in Bali for burgers, BO$$MAN is run by New Zealand–born restaurateur Adam McAsey and chef Jethro Vincent, both responsible for Sisterfields next door. The BO$$MAN branding tries a bit too hard with the whole rap culture theme—“We’re open ’til 4 a.m. errrrrryday, because the BO$$ ain’t got no time for sleep!” reads its website—but with burgers this good, it's easy to laugh it off. The beef-based selections are 60-day dry-aged chuck cuts, molded by hand on-site, and the pork selection—named The Notorious P.I.G., naturally—is 18-hour cooked pork belly with Asian slaw and candied chilli. The sole chicken burger takes on Korean fried chicken with kimchi, sesame emulsion, and gochujang mayo. And yes, there's a vegan option, too. Each burger is served with house-made sauces and a multi-colored sesame bun to hold the magic together." - CNT Editors

I dropped by Bossman Seminyak for the first time and ordered their Smashin’ set with Sprite. The place itself has a really cool and casual vibe – modern yet relaxed, perfect for a burger joint in Bali. Service was fast and friendly; staff greeted with smiles and were quick to take the order. The burger lived up to its name – absolutely smashing! Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right, with a perfect balance of seasoning. The bun was soft yet held together well, and the toppings were fresh and generous. Fries on the side were crisp, not oily, and paired perfectly with the burger. My drink came ice cold, exactly what you want on a hot Bali afternoon. What really stood out was the portion size – definitely hearty and satisfying. You can tell a lot of thought went into the menu and the quality of ingredients. I also appreciated how clean and well-kept the place was despite being busy. Overall, Bossman Seminyak really impressed me with their quality food and solid service. If you’re craving a proper burger in Bali, this is definitely the spot to check out. I’ll be coming back to try more of their sets for sure!

I had a chance to visit this restaurant while looking for some Western food during our stay in Bali. The interior was really stylish, and the atmosphere was top-notch. The burger itself was absolutely amazing. This place is definitely one of the best choices for tourists in Bali who want a break from the local Balinese diet.

If you’re craving a seriously good burger in Bali, BOSSMAN Burgers Seminyak is the place to be! 🍔🔥 Food: The burgers are massive, juicy, and packed with flavor — definitely made to satisfy. We tried a couple of their signature ones and every bite was delicious. The buns were soft yet held together perfectly, and the toppings were fresh and generous. The fries and sides also hit the spot. Vibe & Service: The place has a cool, edgy vibe with a fun “badass burger joint” theme that makes it stand out. Staff were quick, friendly, and the service was smooth even though it was busy. Experience: It’s definitely not your average burger stop — the portions are huge, the taste is bold, and it’s a great spot to fuel up before or after exploring Seminyak. Whether you dine in or grab a takeaway, the quality is consistent. Overall: BOSSMAN lives up to its name — it’s bold, unapologetic, and seriously tasty. If you love burgers, this is a must-try when in Seminyak. We left full, happy, and already planning to come back for more!

We ordered the Mclovin and Smashin. It was pretty good! The meat was okay, but the bun was the bomb! Recommended if you’re craving for some good burgers

Came here for a late dinner one night as many shops were closed. This place opens till 5am!! Amazing! Burger was good, truffle fries were yum! I would suggest to sit inside as you can see rats outside at night. But we sat outside coz we wanted some fresh air. The staff were really friendly and happy to serve us even though it was pretty late. That’s the kind of service we love! Will be back!

The place has a unique and well-thought-out concept—neat, stylish, and visually appealing. Service is quick, which is great for those on the go. Tried the Lil’ Smashin for takeaway. The taste was good, but it’s the type of burger that’s more on the dry side, not too juicy. Still a solid option if you’re craving a quick and tasty burger with a clean setup.

Arguably one of the best burgers in bali. Located strategically in Seminyak. It’s just across from seminyak village. Limited seats, enough for around 22-25 seats inside and around like 10 seats outside. I ordered the mc’lovin. Very nice, the smashed burger is good for people who like it small and not too filling. Simple menu, have varieties from beef to chicken to veg. Recommended

A small, late-night burger joint—perfectly located for a post-party bite and popular among friends who had recommended it. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. We tried the Hot Chick (fried chicken burger) and the Numero Uno (beef burger, recommended as the best by staff). • The Hot Chick was decent—nothing special, but passable for a one-time try. • The Numero Uno felt overly loaded with too many ingredients, which made it hard to really enjoy the meat or the burger as a whole. That said, the regular fries and truffle fries were actually quite good and probably the highlight of the meal. Overall: Okay for a late-night fix, but wouldn’t go out of the way for it or keep it on the list with so many good options in Bali
