Boston Beer Alley

Cashier was extremely rude while I was browsing. Walked up to me and yelled that the area was for customers only while I was obviously reading the label on a few beers. Guess I won't walk through there since I won't be a customer to that place ever.

Great selection of beers and Massachusetts and Vermont ciders. You can do mix and match with cans. Cider lovers, it’s a place to go for a bottle or a can!

I usually don't write a review. Especially for a beer alley. But I was more than impressed with the cashier. She helped me with getting the best crafted beer and also mentioned how I can build my own 4 packs for a good value...or a single pack too for a very good deal...will recommend to all the beer lovers to this place...located inside the Boston public market...very good cashier and a very warm place.

Visited this place twice already, great selection of local drinks. A breath of fresh air over your typical liquor store selections.

I walked into Beer Alley at 5:50 PM, well aware they don't shut down until 6. Yet, as I started picking out beers for my purchase, the cashier had the audacity to bark at me that they were closing in 10 minutes, her tone insinuated that I was somehow in the wrong for attempting to assemble a simple four-pack. It was not just rude but downright hostile, as if my patronage was an inconvenience to her. Absolutely unacceptable and a perfect example of how not to treat customers. This place clearly doesn't value customer service or understand the concept of operating hours. Utterly disgraceful.

Awesome place with huge variety. I love IPAs, but they have much more than that. Every beer type. Great selection of ciders as well. Best part: they let you break packs and buy singles of any beer. I loaded up on 20 singles because I love variety.

We were staying in the North End and wanted to buy some alcohol to make some drinks in our room. They didn’t have the rum we wanted so we ended up with Titos. The cashier was unpleasant and a borderline rude.

The variety of beers/ciders here is top notch. I wanted to get a few different ones to bring back home with me and there were so many to choose from. I definitely appreciated the ability to buy individual cans as opposed to having to buy entire 4/6 packs. The guy working didn't seem like he wanted to be there, but I was fine browsing on my own without help. I'd definitely return.

Stumbled upon this place and was pleasantly surprised by the selection. A nice touch is the ability to mix and match beers so you can try several brews.
