13 Best Burgers in Boston | Eater Boston

"Boston Burger Company — now with locations in Harvard Square, Back Bay, and Salem as well as the original Somerville one and a kitchen takeover in Jamaica Plain — is the place to go for absolutely over-the-top burgers. Think stacked-tall combinations such as pulled pork, bacon, barbecue sauce, pickles, and cheddar cheese (Porkasaurus); mozzarella sticks, fried macaroni and cheese, onion rings, fries, bacon, golden barbecue sauce, and American cheese (the aptly named 420 Burger); and bacon, a stack of beer-battered onion rings, honey barbecue sauce, and American cheese (Killer Bee). Best for: The maximalist burger obsessive." - Erika Adams

Google
A Fiery Taste of American Deliciousness in Cambridge! While visiting, I was absolutely ecstatic to grab a truly American bite, and Boston Burger Company certainly delivered on that front throughout their menu! I opted for an awesome burger: THE WICKED HOT – a bold combination of Cheddar, sliced jalapeños, fried jalapeños, horseradish sauce, spicy BBQ sauce, Hot Mess sauce (which contains bacon), and lettuce. This burger, famously featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives, was everything I'd hoped for and more – a perfect explosion of flavors and heat. And then there were the home-made chips... sweet lord! These were crispy, perfectly salty, and reminded me of the best kettle chips you could imagine. As American as I'd picture them to be, they were the ideal complement to my burger. Boston Burger Company truly embodies that hearty, flavorful American dining experience. I would love to try more of their menu on my next visit!

If you’re looking for a fantastic spot, this place is a gem! They serve up mouthwatering burgers and delicious drinks, especially after 10 PM offer with 2 dollar burger!!! The vibes are perfect for a night out, making it a great value for a satisfying meal. I can’t recommend it enough—definitely check it out!

Google
Incredible food! Whiskey Tango Foxtrot burger was unreal. Oreo milkshake was indescribable. Maria was amazing — friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. Her service was fast, thoughtful, and full of great vibes. The food was awesome, but Maria truly made the experience memorable. She’s a star!

Google
It was a nice atmosphere they had a deal on )2 smash burgers after 10pm but I had the sampler first before I wanted to get any thing else it came out and everything was over cooked the fried pickles were burnt and when you bit it the whole pickle slides right out and then the Mac and cheese balls were burnt and it wasn’t cheesy like expected the pulled pork sliders had Mac n cheese in it and because I had the balls I didn’t want more the sampler also had an egg roll that also had Mac n cheese so I was all Mac n cheese out because everything was burnt I then had the chicken avacado sandwich and that was good the chips was burnt though the service was good idk for my first time I might go back for a second try at another location

Great burgers. We came in as a big group and they did a wonderful job with 36 of us and getting us food fast and hot. Good job guys.

Google
Boston Burger Company is a Burger restaurant located right outside the heart of Harvard Square and close to Harvard University. The staff are friendly and accommodating with allergies, and bring the food out within a timely manner. They are also good at recommendations for any newcomers as well as explaining any unknown parts of the meal to new guests. The food is good. They have smashburgers but also regular patties on the menu, and the prices are alright, may seem a bit expensive but portions are decently sized. A signature part of their menu is their shakes, and their shakes are a great size for the price, though personally I don't like drinking them because I dislike "fancy milkshakes" but other members of my party really enjoy them. Their fries are pretty good, though they also serve chips with meals as well.

Google
Good deal with the post-10pm smash burgers, good food, decent service but somewhat slow. Solid pick for just filling up on 5 burgers at a time

Google
Not as great as I expected! I can hardly give five stars. The menu looks better than your actual food. The value of the food is not really competitive with others.

Yelp
This place was amazing! Highly recommended for anyone who wants a great burger. Staff is friendly and the prices are okay for what you get

Yelp
Ugh so disappointing. I am traveling to Boston and this place seemed to have a very interesting menu. I don't like to eat by myself in diners, so I decided to place my order to -go so I could eat near Harvard Square or by the river. It was later in the day, so it was not busy. I placed my order and was told it would take 10 minutes. I got my food 40 minutes later. It turned out that it had been done for a while, just nobody knew about it. The guy who handed it to me was super apologetic (I was sitting right by the bar and the staff knew I was there for a long time), but I knew that it had probably gotten cold, and I was super antsy by sitting and waiting for so long. By that time it was too late to eat by the river, so I just went back to my hotel. As expected, the burger had turned cold and soggy. The box it was put in had completely opened up as well, which probably made it get colder even faster. The burger came with coleslaw, but there was no fork in the bag. It was disappointing because the food actually tasted really good. I'm sure if I had eaten it when it was still hot and fresh, it would have been so much better. I'm only in Boston for four days and with so much good food everywhere, I was really hoping to make every meal count. This just felt like a wasted experience and it all could have been fixed if there was just simple communication between the staff.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food. Very creative menu. Service was outstanding! Portion size was good and very filling. Great atmosphere. Definitely on my list of places to go back to.

Yelp
My boyfriend always gets the 420 burger and I tried the Pilgrim. If you love a thanksgiving dinner, you MUST get the pilgrim! The cranberry sauce and the stuffing and the turkey patty was super yummy, but NOT greasy which is a huge plus for me. The 420 burger on the other hand just screams dense and it sure was so flipping good if you want to have a cheat day.the side of chips are solid and I want to try every burger on the menu. The service there was also great and our waiter was super friendly and nice! He made sure all was good and that we were enjoying the food. I like the arrangement of seats in the place because it is cozy and has open doors so it was nice to eat here on a sunny beautiful day.

Yelp
Boston burger company is the place to go if you want an unlimited selection of burgers to choose from. The menu offers a wide range of burgers, sandwiches and appetizers to go along with frozen milkshakes that are over the top. The burgers are good size and really filling. House made chips were a tasty side to go with it. The parking at the Cambridge location is mostly street so it's harder ti find a spot. But the food is well worth it.

Yelp
I use to come here during high school / college years and I remember this was the best burger spot I've ever been to. I moved out of Boston for a few years but coming back to Boston Burger Company as an adult still hits the same. The music and vibe was good. The service was excellent. The food is epic. It is a vibe. We got the mini mac-ancini for appetizers. It was alright but honestly, if you want an epic burger, I would stay clear of appetizers because their burgers fill up the digestive system. I was good for lunch and dinner because of this one meal. I usually go for the kitchen sink burger when I was younger and remember loving it. This time around, I went for the 420 burger. It is absolutely crazy to say the least. It is so stacked. Probably called the 420 because you have to be that high to have a burger so crazy. I mean...look at the toppings. Mozzarella, mac & cheese, onion rings, bacon, more cheese, drizzle over bbq sauce. Ridiculously awesome. Get the burger medium rare and it is a burger dream come true. Overall, I would come back if I am in the area. Highly recommend for burger lovers.

Yelp
I have celiac, so eating out is always a little risky. They took my celiac seriously, and I had little concern. The burger bomb was exceptional, the fried onions, peppers and mushrooms were generous but not over the top, they didn't balk at my request for extra pickles, or field greens. I am stuffed! My son's burger was insanely large and delicious too! Tater tots, baked beans and potato chips all superb!

Yelp
This is the best burger place in the world. Everything is delicious. Best burger ever. From Miles (6). Dad and brother feel the same. Thanks guys.

Yelp
My niece talked me into going here. Nice sized burgers with a variety of toppings. Went Big Papi (although I'm a diehard Yankees fan...) and yep the hot dog on top of the burger with the egg, bacon and cheese works well together. Might just lose the lettuce and out sauce on the side next time as it got a little sloppy for poppy. Crunchy homemade chips and little bit of coleslaw complete this fun pre-concert meal. Milkshakes looked incredible, will certainly sample one of those next time! Service was responsive.

Yelp
So so delicious. I come here every time I go to Boston or Cambridge. It's by far one of the best burger spots! I love their chips as well as all the apps they offer. The sampler gives a great variety of all their best and yummy appetizers like the chicken fingers and fried pickles. I love their Hot Mess burger and I tried their Mumbo #5 with grilled chicken. Had to be one of the best grilled chicken sammies I've had! Food always came on time and they listen to substitutions pretty well. :)

Yelp
Small size and little chips ! Taste os the onions was very good but the burguer not the best! Service is not the best!

Yelp
Overall rating: 5/5 Food: 5/5 The 420 burger at 4:20 for $4.20. There's fried Mac and cheese, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks in the burger! It definitely sounds like a handful but this time around I disintegrated the burger just a little, heh. Ambience: This location looks a bit newer (I'm not sure when it was founded/when it opened) but it's like a typical bar. They have seatings in a pretty large space and a bar once you walk in. Price: I've only ever had this twice and both times it was the 420 burger for $4.20. It is definitely worth the price considering burgers at other locations or restaurants are typically $12+. The standard burger is about $16-18 though if you were to order it outside the time frame. The shakes (so I've heard are super good) but I didn't want to risk not finishing it! Service: The waitress was super generous and accommodated us promptly! We were the second table to be seated and everything was pretty swift.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday evening with no wait. I ordered the $15.50 Ranch BLT burger (medium well), which came with potato chips and choice of coleslaw or baked beans. Decent burger, nothing special but nothing bad. While the burger was just average, the large range of burgers was interesting. They have a very large selection of burgers and other food items and seems friendly for vegetarians. The food is a bit pricey though in my opinion. The service was fast and great; I had a great server. Overall, I recommend getting a burger other than the Ranch BLT. The burgers are average but overpriced. Boston Burger Company is good pick if you want to try a large variety of burgers and sandwiches.

Yelp
The reviews looked ok, the pictures didn't look bad. As for me my experience...The music was hard to listen, due to the kitchen had their own music going at the same time. Dim as hell, looks like the lights were not on. The service was subpar. Received a flat beer then had to get the servers attention to remind him after 15 minutes about the requested water. The burger meat was cooked well and the taste was good. The bread it was served on, was too soft for the meat and if falls apart after your second bite. The fries were also sad, lacking of flavor. They also did not melt any of the cheeses, on the fries or the burger. Like wtf? Over priced for what is being offered.

Yelp
Was craving a burger and shake and they had both, plus they're quick. Atmosphere: Its what you would expect of a burger bar. There is a slight open kitchen so you see them making shakes and such but its not right in front of you. The place is slightly small, but there's always people there so thats a good sign. Attire: no special attire, wear what you please Food: if youre craving a burger this will help it a little. the burgers are good. they're better than your quick McDonalds burgers as the patty is fresh. They offer a wide variety of toppings, but with all the amazing burger concoctions they have on the menu, the one thing that bothers me is their buns. Their buns wouldn't hold up to a simple hamburger. It gets soggy immediately unless you eat it at the restaurant. If you're ordering it for delivery or pick up, I highly suggest picking it up asap. The one thing I love here is their shakes - amazing, delicious, will definitely stop here for a nice refreshing shake. On top of that, they always get it to the right thiccccness. With the burger orders, the order comes with their house made chips. Though I love me a good homemade chip (which these are delicious), what's a burger without fries and they charge extra to switch out the chips for fries. It just doesn't make sense to me. Lastly, their wings. DO NOT ORDER. Man was I soooo disappointed. I thought I was getting boned in buffalo wings. Like you know the ones with the skin and such. Nope. Wrong. They were like chicken breast tidbits. So dry, so lacking in flavor. So disappointing. The worst ever. It was so dry, even the blue cheese dressing was not helping. Location: Very convenient location if youre a pedestrian or a biker or not a driver. Right on Mass Ave by Harvard square. Price: im going to say the price is pretty hefty for what youre getting. I mean its a hefty burger, but its also not the best so pricing I dont think correlates with what youre getting Parking: If you drive, on a non busy day...which in this area is never, you can try snagging a street parking 2 hour max spot. if youre picking up, I guess you can do what every body else's does and double park where there's a perfect spot ( no please dont do that!!!) If youre picking up, the side street is a nice place to park your car temporarily and put your hazards on while you run in. Overall: It could have been better. -1 point for the "wings". -1 point for chips option instead of fries. -1 point for not meeting the same standard as when I first ate it. I find that restaurant qualities is way better when they first open than as time goes on. I expected more from a place that was featured on one of my favorite food shows, but this was not the case.

Yelp
We stopped in an hour before closing on a Friday night. The service was quick and friendly. We just ordered the chicken caesar fries and the pulled pork mac and cheese egg rolls. The wedge fries (wish they had been shoestring) were over-fried and a little burnt, and the oil must not have been shaken off well enough because the salad on top became pretty greasy. Overall though, it had good flavor and its comparable quality to basic bar food. I would bring people here after a party or for a late night dinner, but nothing special to rave about. We'll try the burgers next time!

Yelp
location/parking: right in davis sq, super convenient. Just take the red line to the davis stop. price: Burgers range in price from $10-18. Milkshakes are a little more than $10. atmosphere: casual dining joint, most people who come are families or couples looking for a convenient burger spot. Service was good and the waitress was quite attentive. food: this review is solely for the 420 burger and strawberry dessert. The 420 was loaded, and not in the best way. While just $4.20 during weekdays from 4:20-5pm, this burger isn't something I would really call a steal. It was dripping in this salty sauce and there was mozzarella sticks, bacon, the patty, chips etc. included. I forced myself through half of it. The dessert was also almost sickly sweet and I guess it makes a cute novelty photo op? Definitely shareable for like 3-4 people. last remarks: I would give this place another chance for their regular burgers, but the stuff i ordered didn't impress. I felt like I needed to cleanse myself with veggies after lol.

Yelp
One of our favorite burger places of all time. Such a fun environment and there are so many creative, unique burgers to choose from! You get salty with the homemade potato chips, sweet with the baked beans, and savory with the burger. We bring our company team of about 20 here every summer and everyone just loves it! (Many guys have recommended the burger with peanut butter on it, I haven't been brave enough to try it but they said it slaps) My favorite is the "Hot Mess", it comes with bacon, sweet potatoes fries and homemade 100 island dressing that has pickles and jalapeños diced in the sauce so it's got a nice kick to it. My husband loves the "Kitchen Sink", and the "Mac Attack". Taste is 5 stars but it is a bit pricey and sometimes the wait is a bit long so I gave it a 4. But it's worth it!

Yelp
Great place for a gourmet burger. Lively environment and close to Fenway for a meal before the baseball game. Good options on appetizers and salads.
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered the All American Burger which came with the house chips and I was happy with my selection. I requested for the patty to be cooked medium well and I think it was perfect. I wish there was a bit more blue cheese, BBQ, lettuce, and that the bacon was crispier. I think the patty was pretty thick and not dry which is hard to master when cooked longer. I'm not sure what cheese was used but I liked it, you can definitely taste it for most bites and adds creaminess. The house chips were super crunchy but good- almost as crunchy as capecod chips.
google avatar

Karen I.

Yelp
Wasn't my first time here but I tried out something new which was a burger on a garden salad with a choice of your salad dressing. I love this option of having your burger (any kind) on a salad instead of eating with a bun. The fried pickles are really good as well if you're a fried pickle fan. The prices are kind of up there but if your a burger fan I would check this place out! The food was good but nothing mind blowing for me, server was super friendly and kind! (The tap water did taste a little weird to all of us) but overall a good experience :)

Yelp
I've looked forward to trying this place forever. The burgers were good. The milkshakes...that was the best part of my visit. It was loaded with marshmallows and it was thick and creamy and absolutely amazing. I'd go back just for the shake. I definitely look forward to trying more of them.

Yelp
I have always loved this place. I've visited here multiple times, never disappointed! The best part about this place is that any burger you choose, you get the option to replace the meat patty with a vegetarian patty. The varieties of burgers are great and you can even build your own. My favorite ones are : 1. Hot mess 2. Roots burger 3. 420 Ooh, and the sides with chips and coleslaw are a cherry on the cake!! Perfect combination!!! Desserts are also amazing! My favorite dessert is the strawberry shortcake. It's a must try!!! Overall, if you're around Boston, do visit the place!

Yelp
This is a fun place to come in person-- I love seeing their super stacked burgers and their milkshakes are a work of art. Their menu is fun to explore but I see this spot as one that I try once in my life. I ordered the All American through delivery ($13.5: American cheese, BBQ sauce, bacon, blue cheese, lettuce, tomato) with chips and coleslaw on the side. Everything was very soft and kind of mushy... even if they toasted the bun, it did not seem that way. There was barely a sear on the patty. The patty was drenched in so much sauce that every bite mostly tasted like BBQ sauce. I barely tasted any flavor from the meat itself. Their chips, however, are amazing. They are perfectly seasoned, crispy, and crunchy. The coleslaw has a heavy mayo-to-cabbage ratio and is sweet, but not in a bad way. I also wanted fries so I ordered their classic wedge fries ($7). The fries were not crispy at all, not fluffy on the inside, and underseasoned. As much as I loved the chips, I was hoping that the burgers would be equally impressive.

Yelp
Boston Burger company is famous for its excess, but underneath all of the show and gaudy menu items there is a rock solid foundation for American fare is it should be done. I'm not one for loaded fries, 1k+ calorie shakes, or burgers with more than say... 4 toppings (I'm a burger purist). That big, flashy, calorie-bomb is Boston Burger's focus, and while I can appreciate that kind of stance it is not something that I was in the mood for during our visit. For me, I'm a keep it simple: bun, patty, cheese, lettuce, onion, pickle, mayo (on side), and ketchup (on side). That is how I measure a burger place, not how many toppings can be piled on to hide potentially subpar execution of the actual menu item. So, I had a simple cheeseburger as described above with their seasoned fries on the side. Everything we ordered and got was as expected, for the price point. It was a good meal, nothing blew us away but there was also nothing to complain about (hence the 3 star "OK" rating). The fries were crisp, and the burger was done well (not well done :P), and the toppings were fresh and crisp. It fell on the spectrum between my experience (same order) of Red Robin and Zinburger, putting it on par with say a Wahlburgers experience which is nothing bad if that is what you are looking for. At the end of the day - under all the show, glitz, flash, and excess Boston Burger has a great foundation for everything on their menu. I would not say it is the best burger/shake you will ever have, but you shouldn't leave disappointed at the price point. I will return to have my typical burger and a side of fries if I'm in the mood (and area), but I wouldn't go out of my way or make a special trip for what they specialize in.
google avatar

Yelp
Featured on Diners Drive Ins and Dives. Ordered a side of fries which could be a meal in itself. The pizza fries were topped with tomato sauce, a ton of cheese and pepperoni. The tomato sauce made the fries soggy unfortunately and the mound of cheese made the fries salty, no need to add any extra salt. The burger was cooked medium and juicy.
google avatar

Iris S.

Yelp
This is a great spot if you want a quick meal. The servers are very friendly and attentive. The kitchen pops out orders very quickly. The burgers are a good size and juicy. There are so many flavor combos. I got the hot mess and it really was a mess. There was just so much sauce that it was a little hard to eat. I thought it would taste like an elevated Big Mac but the sauce was a little too mayo-y for me. I didn't think I would like the sweet potato fries in it but they did add a nice crunch. The boneless wings were a bit over cooked and I was a bit puzzled by the sauce. I expected like a garlic parm glaze but it seemed more like butter and shredded parm? We got bbq on the side which helped with the dryness. I love their wedge fries and ate most of the order myself I think I'd come back for a simpler burger and def fries but skip on the chicken next time.

Yelp
This is the place to go to for burgers and milkshakes in Boston! Their menu is extensive and there is definitely something for everyone. They even have a full bar! It wasn't crowded when we went and were seated right away. It did take a little longer than expected for someone to come take our order, but they might give people extra time to look at everything on their menu. Since I study menus before I go somewhere, I already knew what I wanted when I walked in the door :) Everything came out together, so fresh and hot. Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs when we ordered, but that's okay because leftovers are always welcomed. There was a bit of a hiccup with the one milkshake we ordered. We went in June and ordered their pride month milkshake which has a giant slice of rainbow cake on top. Since this is basically defying gravity, it had toppled over twice before making it to our table. They had to re-do the milkshake a couple times. With all the work that is put in to this milkshake, we got it toward the end of our meal, but it was definitely worth the wait. And since it took longer, they comped the price of it, which was more than expected and so nice. Overall, great place and a must go-to when in Boston.

Yelp
Boston Burger is a great burger place with unique and delicious burger options. Always cooked perfectly their burgers are accompanied by equally creative milkshakes/frappes. Great choice for my favorite burger

Yelp
Stopped by for the 420 burger special - (weekdays between 4:20pm and 5:00, you can get a 420 burger for just $4.20). Overall, a pretty standard burger joint - 420 burger comes packed with onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and mac-and-cheese bites, so definitely a LOT of food (especially for the price), but I do admit it can be a little too much - too greasy, too heavy, etc. - for me sometimes. It comes with a side of potato chips, which were quite salty, and coleslaw, which was sitting in way too much dressing. We also ordered a poutine, and this was much less satisfying than the burger since the fries were not very crisp, having been drenched in the bland gravy (cheese curds were nice though). I'd say overall, things are much more expensive (at regular price) then they're worth - but the 420 special is definitely worth it.

Yelp
After seeing Boston Burger Company on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, I knew I had to give it a try. To start, I ordered Mumbo fries and I enjoyed them very much. The fries were more like potato wedges and they were delicious. The fries were, hot, crispy, and fluffy on the inside. Similarly, the mumbo sauce on the fries was great. It was sweet and tangy and the sauce really brought everything together. After a great start to my meal, I was really excited to see how the burgers were. Considering that fact, I decided to order the Mac Attack burger which is the burger Guy Fieri ordered. The Mac Attack is a burger topped with macaroni cheese and bacon. Now, I don't say this lightly, but it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. In view of this, the burger was incredibly delectable and it was pouring out juices. The beef was so fresh and it was ridiculously juicy. Moreover, the macaroni cheese was cheesy, savory, and cooked to perfection. It made the burger even better and took my tastebuds on a delicious journey. Also, the bacon was perfect, it was crispy with just the right amount of fat. On the flip side, the bun was a bit flavorless and generic. With everything said, Boston Burger Company has some of the best burgers there is and the Mac Attack Burger is a one of a kind gem.

Yelp
Great food and extraordinary service If u r not a burger person the salads are great!! Fun place to people watch!

Yelp
The portions here are huge. This is a place where you need to split meals and even then it'll leave you feeling full. If you're visiting boston it's a must. I got the Oreo shake and split the burger with a friend. The shake has a tinge of alcohol flavor but the sugar overpowers it for sure.

Yelp
The food wasn't bad, although the food took a little long to arrive (think I waited like an hour?) But perhaps because it was July 4th. Things I got: 1. Chowda Fries: pretty good, the fries were crispy and matched the chowder well. Interesting dish! 2. Sophie Burger: pretty interesting flavor. The balsamic glaze added a nice touch to the flavor. I would recommend this.

Yelp
Burgers were good. A thicker patty than I was expecting which I liked. Burgers do not come with fries which is tough. Easy to get a table. All the food was big-very instagrammable food. Almost too many options to choose from

Yelp
I loved my lunch at Boston Burger Company in Davis Square, the waiter was very kind with us It was fast so I didn't have to wait so long. What was not good was that the meat was over-cooked. I came with my classmates during a field trip and I loved eating at the restaurant. The meat in the burger (I took a Boston Burger) was medium well but I ordered the meat medium cooked. My additions were in order and that was great. 4 stars on Yelp.

Yelp
Had read about their famous huge burgers and frappes as well as seeing that they had been featured on Triple D, so we had to try it out while visiting Somerville (the location they Guy visited when he did his show) My husband and I shared the 420 burger and it was delicious! It comes with house chips and baked beams. The two sides were very good. The burger was cooked to medium and all the toppings were on and made for quite a yummy burger. We got a basket of fries to share and they were nice and crispy steak fries. We also shared the churro-ly frappe and it was so good. Highly recommend! We had great service and food came out quickly.

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch and were seated right away, in a corner by ourselves separated from the next closest table by glass. Although we thought the place sounded good based off of its name, neither of us ended up ordering a burger. I tried the mango habanero bbq boneless wings with a Diet Pepsi and my boyfriend got the Buffalo Mac and a lemonade. The Buffalo Mac was fantastic! I thought the mango habanero was a little sweet for my tastes, but I'm a big spicy mango habanero fan. The boneless wings had an interesting breading. Their menu has shakes and they look sooo good! I'd love to come back to try one of the shakes for dessert.

Yelp
Delicious burgers here and even better sweet potato fries (not pictured). If you're looking for a pretty casual but nice place to go for a burger I recommend Boston Burger Company. I'll be back for a #FREAKFRAPPES!!

Yelp
My whole family loves this place! So many different burger options I cant help but try a new one each time I come back. The staff is very nice and the food never takes too long. Love the feel and atmosphere of the place too, makes it feel like a hidden gem. Of course cant forget the frappes! Check this place out if you're in the area.

Yelp
Wow, this was the first restaurant I ate at in Boston and it set my standards HIGH! The burger menu is so large, with so many creative burgers! They had a handful of burgers I would have never even thought to create! 4 or 5 of the burgers are famously recognized from Rachel Ray, the Food Network, and other well-known platforms. I had the thanksgiving themed burger, and then an onion ring type burger, and my friend had a maple apple type burger. All were delicious! However, I wish I could substitute the chips for fries. Not a fan of the chips. But everything else was great!

Yelp
Oh vey...! The two stars are for the bartender, she was the only one making sure this place was running (5pm @ Sunday 5/7). The rest of the service was atrocious, The manager in duty with the flat affect, was deliberately doing as little as possible while tables were waiting to order and people getting frustrated. The other server, who I assume was new was in the corner texting in her phone while the poor bartender served the entire place. This was an absolute sht show.

Yelp
Went with my wife and two children. Burgers were meh (and got the order wrong--no cheese on my cheeseburger), although cooked nicely. Mac and cheese was essentially just cheese sauce with a few pieces of pasta; it tasted pretty good but thickened into an unappetizing paste fairly quickly. Fries and poutine were fine, but very small portion (which seemed inconsistent with the fairly generous burger portions) for the price. Potato chips were excellent. Service was very inattentive; four servers stood around talking and no one came over to check how the order was, or if we needed anything (like refills on our waters). Once we got her attention, and the refills, she started to take things away (including our unfinished fries) as she asked if we were done (we weren't). The music was very loud; it was hard to hear anything else. Do not recommend.

Yelp
Artery Clogger: the burger was good but I actually couldn't taste the difference between the deep fried patty and a normal one. I think I'd recommend other burgers for this reason

Yelp
Where do I start!!! All the food was delicious. They have some of the most insane burger choices I have ever seen on a menu, VERY impressive. They also have a lot of other good choices. Overall, the service was great & the food came out so fast!

Yelp
We had a really memorable dining experience here! Be prepared to leave feeling super bloated yet satisfied. I had a really long internal debate about what to order but figured I might as well go all out with a burger that came with bacon, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, fries, AND fried mac and cheese bites all stuffed inside for once. We also got a seasonal freakfrappe to share that was topped with an honestly impressive slice of cheesecake, which made everything even richer and creamier. Overall, it's a great casual place to have an indulgent meal from a super fun and extensive menu!

Yelp
Went as a party of 7 as a last minute plan and we're seated right away. My friend and I split a Dough My Goodness Shake, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, and a Stocking Stuffers. The Milkshake was ok, we didn't like the flavor of the shake itself, but the cookie dough balls were really good. The Stocking Stuffers are a seasonal item but we didn't like the mayo topping. The egg roll wrappers were also a little undercooked. The burger was probably the favorite out of the three, I do love bbq Mac and cheese and it was good on a burger. My other friends seemed to enjoy their food and their interesting burger creations!

Yelp
It pains my soul that I had BB Co just before shut down, and that I live on the West Coast. This is one of THE BEST milkshake aka Freak Frap I've ever had. I got the chocolate peanut butter banana and I'm fairly certain it's made of magic and dreams come true. I also want all out and got the 420 a burger. I thought it might be "too much" but it was so so right. All my 420 cravings packed into one monster burger. One day I'll make it back to you BB Co. I love you

Yelp
I'm writing mainly to talk about the excellent service. My partner and I both have some allergen restrictions, we briefly mentioned it to our service that we needed our items to have no cross contamination with nuts, and she was very knowledgeable and helpful about what did and did not have an allergy warning. Which was great! But then the manager running the kitchen came out to have a more detailed discussion with us, and to make sure we felt safe and comfortable with everything we were eating. I've never seen so much care, and we have to have the "allergy talk" with restaurants a lot. The food was great, so many burgers to choose from, and I really enjoyed the veggie patty substitute. Overall great service, food, and ambiance.
