We came in The Boston Deli, Grill & Market for the Chef's Special (Thursday) and left wondering why we ever ate anywhere else! FIRE three course meal for $34?? 🔥 Here is what was included + my tasting notes.. • Shrimp + Melon Salad - Light, bold, insanely good combo. • Chipotle Lime Picanha Steak - Smoky, juicy, perfect. - Grilled Corn Salad - Fresh, vibrant, tons of flavor (chilled so it was perfect for a warm summer day). - Summer Squash Medley - Cool, crisp, that cilantro vinaigrette slapped. • Berry Pound Cake - Orange curd + mascarpone whip? Say less. Every bite was bold, fresh, and perfectly layered. The owner personally picked out a glass of wine for me that paired so well it felt custom-made for me based on my original selection. 🍷 That kind of care? Fantastic! And let's talk about Chloe - our waitress. She was warm, sharp, and made the whole experience feel intimate and special. Like we weren't just another table. The ambiance? Dark. Moody. Understated. The kind of place that doesn't scream, but seduces. You feel like you're in on a secret the rest of Tulsa hasn't discovered yet. Boston Deli is a Tulsa community vibe - and the food is next level! I would recommend dinner service for the Chef Special for anyone looking for the perfect date-night or to get their belly FULL. 🍰

Party of 8 on a Friday night...we had a wonderful experience! Our server Chloe was very helpful and fun! The food was excellent in appearance and taste! Chef Shelly visited and thanked us for being their guests. No bar but a good selection of beers and wines. May be our new favorite dining experience!

Came here Friday mainly because I had seen a TikTok about the Friday special ( COD Sandwich) & how they all make it till sold out . Well being from New England and a love for all things seafood my husband and I drove 1.5 hrs just to give it a try . We ended up splitting it and I’m glad we did it was the perfect size - plus with a side of delicious Cole slaw and homemade chips ! The sandwich did NOT disappoint!!

After having this restaurant on my list for years, I finally strolled in on November 11th (2024) for lunch. I was invited here by a friend who already had positive praise for this spot. We arrived almost exactly at noon. The interior occupies a corner building and has two entries, one operates as a market while the other is the deli/restaurant. The deli side is rather straightforward: self-serve beverage station, standard lighting with sufficient windows that invites just enough sun inside, a pastry stand at the checkout station, a mix of tables and booths. I ordered the Applewood Smoked Roast Beef Sandwich with the Asparagus Soup (soup of the day). She ordered the Applewood Roasted Beef Au Jus (which I was jealous of). It wasn't crowded, being Monday, so we sat in a booth after we ordered. The food didn't take long at all, 10 minutes MAXIMUM, and came out steaming! I dug into the soup first, which I wish I would've gotten the bowl instead of the cup because I'm not much of an asparagus fan but the soup convinced me otherwise. No distinct flavor but it was thick, smooth and tee'd up the sandwich as it should. The Roast Beef sandwich was great! A good balance of ingredients and the bread, soft, toasted and buttered, made for a perfect finish. Unfortunately I didn't get to try my friend's Au Jus Roast Beef sandwich but it will not escape me next time! Even though we didn't need or see much of her, our server Sarah) was great by taking our order, bringing us refills, and processing the check. Overall, I couldn't have chosen a better place to check-in on our lunch break. You can enjoy elaborate meal for lunch as much as you'd like but at the end of the day, there's nothing more nostalgic or fulfilling like having a classic sandwich, pastry and soup for lunch. If you only care about efficient service and getting a great value for your buck, I'd suggest Boston Deli if you're in the area!

I love this place. Last night best steak in town. Lunch best BBQ sandwich in town. Don’t snooze or you will miss out.

Google
7/8/25. Went here for lunch today and their food is fantastic. I had the roast beef sandwich and my friend had the roasted veggies & fête sandwich. We split both sandwiches and we each loved both of them. We also had their Italian cream cake and flour less chocolate cake. Both of those We also fantastic. Until today I had no idea this place even existed and now its been added to my favorites list. 💖💖

If you are in the Tulsa area, you MUST stop in here. We came for dinner service and it was absolutely amazing. The staff is so friendly and attentive, the menu has great variety (and the daily specials are 10/10!), everything is hommeade and the food is comparable to fine dining. It is phenomenal!

Google
Sure wish the brisket burger would have been left alone . Used to be my favorite thing on the menu. We went 8-15-25 I had what was supposed to be the brisket burger tasted nothing like the good old hasty bake brisket burger of the past. The burger I ordered was a double patty regular hamburger that had no brisket flavor whatsoever. Please bring back the old original.

Yelp
This place is off the chain. I have worked in Midtown several years, but Boston Deli somehow stayed off my radar. Their weekly lunch specials are sublime. Even the hot chicken sandwich to go, expertly prepared with the goopy stuff on the side. **Best chicken sandwich I've ever had.** For dinner: the ribs and smoked chicken were fantastic. Spinach / artichoke dip is huge and serves a whole group. Service is good and I enjoy the humor of the counter gentlemen and the server, particularly during the lunch hour. I really think this is a hidden gem; they were pretty quiet last Saturday night for dinner. Strongly recommended.

Yelp
The variety of food offerred by this restaurant is truly unique at this restaurant. The lunchs are mostly gormet customized presentations with a special soup of the day. Attention to detail is evident everywhere as the owner closely monitors all aspects of the operation and presentations. The customer will not find this variety and quality of presentations for lunch and dinners anywhere in Tulsa . Dinners are full course meals customer designed by the owner each night as specified by a meal board. Deli takeout is a separate entity next door. Parking is adequate at all hours. Considering the quality of the presentations offered , the ambiance of the seating is somewhat pedestrian. My opinion is this restaurant is a landmark to be experienced.

Yelp
There's smoked Ruben is one of my favorite sandwiches in town. This is a Tulsa hidden gym and we enjoy going there quite often.

Yelp
I've been going to Boson Deli for lunch and/or dinner many years. I love the renovations they have done. Dinner has a much better ambiance now. Our dinner tonight was good with a beautiful presentation but the prime rib and soup were both cold. Our server took the prime rib back to reheat but it was warm when he brought it back. Th taste was great just lukewarm. Also, when I made my reservation the man who took the reservation had no idea about the prix fixe prime rib special. On the website it had two conflicting prices and said you must make a reservation because there was limited quantities. Our server tonight did a great job. Even though I was disappointed tonight I will return. I just couldn't give it 4 stars because of the challenges. Serving food hot is important. Also the staff in the restaurant should know the specials for lunch or dinner.

Yelp
Okay, it's been a couple weeks but I took pictures so here goes. Hubby and I stopped by at very busy lunch hour. I assume it's always this way. We placed our order (having never been here Hubby ordered the daily special and I a safe classic Rueben) found a dirty table, which I cleaned. Personnel was very nice. Even hustling to a couple tables outside. I'd say for how busy they were, they we're short handed. Hubby was happy with his fish sandwich. He loves fish sandwiches. I don't, but I took a bite and it was pretty tasty. So what happened to my classic? Whatever condiments they put on melted into the bread. That side of dressing you see, I asked for. It didn't help. The pix with the stringy meat -- try to bite and then pull that from your mouth. Very unpleasant. We make Rubens at home. No I wasn't expecting a Katz's deli presentation, but at least Arby's would have been acceptable. This is not a "don't go there", rather, "don't order a Ruben".

Yelp
First time here. Warm setting. When I hear deli, I think sandwiches and potato salad. But this place was more than that... While I waited for my husband to join us, I ordered the deviled eggs and crab cakes to start. Highly recommend! The Merlot was a perfect pair for these appetizers. My salmon was delicious...Hubby's pork chop was a little over cooked, yet tasty. If you order the kids spaghetti, the portions pretty generous for 2, my kid enjoyed it. Sarah, our server, was kind and attentive. I loved the laid back, yet classy dishes. Will definitely return!

C B.

Yelp
Ate here for the first time today, and I'm sure we'll be back! I had the Friday special which was a beer battered cod sandwich with handmade chips. It was probably the best fish sandwich I've ever had! My husband had the Reuben sandwich. He also said it was fantastic! Both sandwiches were large enough to share, but we didn't!! The prices are on the upper end but well worth it. Like I said, I know we'll be back!

Yelp
The applewood roasted beef Au Jus was nice as usual. We really enjoyed the dessert (limoncello pecan pie, lemon tart and pecan diamond) too. They were flavorful and not overly sweet. I was surprised to see a 5% processing fee for paying with our credit card. I wish they would inform us about it, so we will pay with cash instead.
google avatar

Yelp
What a majorly nice surprise... low key looking place with casual and relaxed vibe. Tried the pork chop signature and am eyebrow up. See other reviews for specifics, also chicken fried steak. Pretty, pretty great in a town where CFS = Oklahoma DNA. All stations present and ready, sir!

Yelp
I wanted to really like this place, but I got a bad vibe when I walked in the door. Not friendly and not welcoming. It had a 5-star review from the Tulsa world 2016. That's ancient history for a restaurant. We went with the "House Hickory Peppered Pastrami" and a side of "Knarley Quinoa Tabouli." The pastrami had a delicious crust, with a light smokiness and the distinct taste of charcoal. Like a brisket cooked on a charcoal grill (which it had been), versus a smoker. The tabouli....meh.. bland Their menu looks to be foodie and unique. I'd like to try more, but I won't be back.......I didn't feel like they appreciated my business, and they probably won't appreciate yours. Try another Deli/Grill!

Jill H.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. We have lunch and dinner here frequently. The food is always delicious.

Yelp
Long story short if you want something like McAllisters BUT a lot better in almost every way then this is the place. I don't think anyone is disappointed when they go to Boston Deli. This may be the use of Hasty bakes in their cooking and the delicious meats they make in house. It's all good. I have yet to try their dinner menu items but it looks like it may be well worth a try.
google avatar

Yelp
Great pork chop. Good price. Almost like lunch better than dinner until I ran across the pork chop
google avatar

Cheri S.

Yelp
M super interested in their catering bc they are wise enough to have a tv in the dining room scrolling through their beautiful work! The sweet lady that covers the dining room was a pleasant addition to our day. My friend really liked the pastrami Ruben but said she'd do turkey next time bc it was a little dry. I had the street taco lunch special. I could've used a little more heat but I did really enjoy them!

Yelp
I started going to Boston Deli for lunch about 25 years ago. This is a restaurant that is nice and clean with great food and service at a reasonable price. Not somewhere that you spend a ton of money to pay for the decorator and all of the remodeling but the food is as good as those places and the service is always really good too. It's easy to order online for pickup as well. My wife and I really enjoyed the filet that they had on special last time and couldn't believe how reasonable it was. I give my mother gift cards from them and my stepfather picks up dinner on his way home from the golf course. We love Boston Deli.

Debe J.

Yelp
I've reviewed Boston Deli before, but it's been a while and since it's one of our favorites in town, here it goes. First, this is our "go to" place when one or both of us have had a stressful day or week. One of us will say, "it's a Boston Deli night", and it works! It's relaxing. Fine dining but casual so you can go as you are. Always a great wine list. I've never ordered anything there I didn't like. The bread is delicious, the salads are scrumptious, the entrees are delightful, and the desserts, well, who can resist their desserts if you look in the dessert case! I think my favorites are the seafood dishes followed by the pork chop entrees, and I actually thought I didn't like trout until I had their trout. It's great too! Guess we'll be back (we've been going back for about 20 years)! p.s. We recently took my elderly mother there, and she's not easy to please. She liked it!
google avatar

Yelp
Great food and service in casual welcoming atmosphere. Nice wine list and reasonable prices. Fun diverse menu and delicious Focaccia! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
This is an awesome place to eat the food is delicious! So full of flavor. The staff is top notch.

Yelp
Every time I come here the food is AMAZING and fresh! Love the pasta salad and the applewood roasted beef Aujus
google avatar

Kirk M.

Yelp
Food is exceptional. Everything is made from scratch. Desserts are incredible and sandwiches are the best in town. A Tulsa gem. Dinner is something new every night. Checkout daily specials for lunch and dinner on their website. Culinary pros.
google avatar

James J.

Yelp
Ken always does an amazing job with the menu and the cooking. Consistently good food, nice flavor combinations, reliable service. We eat there more often than any other Tulsa restaurant.

Phil D.

Yelp
Had a desire for a good corned beef sandwich. I checked the reviews and decided to try Boston Deli. I'm originally from NY and can honestly say this was the very best corned beef sandwich I've had since I left NY. I spoke to the chief and learned they go to the trouble to corn their own brisket. They definitely got the recipe right Clean, good service and affordable.

Mina J.

Yelp
They're a bit pricey for their sandwiches, but worth the added cost. Their Ruebin on Jewish rye is amazing and their sandwiches are larger than some restaurants.

Toby M.

Yelp
I love this restaurant, it is clearly my favorite place in all of Tulsa , you could eat here everyday and find something new to love . The Joyce r bashing of corned beef / pastrami it's supposed to be stringy ! Just uncalled for I'm from Ohio and love the hasty bake meals as well as the Thursday multi course options
google avatar

Jamie B.

Yelp
I love this place! The Boston Deli is on my must dine list when I am in Tulsa. I really don't think that you can go wrong with anything on their menu. The food is fresh and so full of flavor. Additionally the staff is so nice and friendly. I can't wait to have another meal here!

Yelp
I finally stopped in to this place after hearing about it for awhile. My friends were absolutely right. I was fortunate enough to catch a Tuesday Fried Chicken special. As I'm told they sell out all the time. The box had a massive biscuit with honey, mashed potatoes with white gravy, roasted green beans, and four small pieces of fried chicken. The chicken was sweet and not as crispy as I tend to like, but the flavors and textures complimented each other very well. The green beans weren't over cooked and kept a bright green color with some car. The potatoes were an excellent consistency. Do yourself a favor and eat here. The food is simple, but in the simplicity is a lot of awesome.
google avatar

Brittany S.

Yelp
Had the tuna salad sandwich and taubouli. They were both very good!! The tuna salad was unlike what I've ever had before...lighter on the tuna, heavier on the eggs, which I loved. I've tried a lot of tabouli I didn't like, so I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked theirs.
google avatar

Cindy S.

Yelp
We had their Thursday special which was pulled bbq beef with about 3 strips of pastrami. The bread was hard and old. The home fries were so soft you could hardly eat them and no taste. Since it was the lunch special it was $10 and $2.50 for soda. Their market I expected to find meats and cheese but saw none. We will not be going back!

Proud Dad M.

Yelp
Best sandwiches in town! Seriously good. Free pie on your birthday. Sandwiches are fantastic, can't beat it, Anywhere!
google avatar

Chris W.

Yelp
I think I'm addicted to the BBQ Pulled Pork Shoulder Sandwich. Its consistently amazing.

Jerry H.

Yelp
We had not been there for a few years, so decided to go! Great experience...our 6' 7" waiter was awesome, food was incredible (could have used a bit larger piece of beef on the Wednesday evening Special), wine was very nice and we closed the place down that night! Eager to return!
google avatar

Sheri W.

Yelp
Good handmade food, good service, good variety of selections on the menu. You can't beat that!
google avatar

David B.

Yelp
Yum! Best service. Great food. Curbside is easiest in Tulsa. Thursday night deals are a great value for quality food.

Michelle V.

Yelp
We normally eat at Lambruscos Saturday lunch. Decided to try Boston Deli. I ordered 1/2 sandwich which had one slice of roast beef on it. I was shocked. Lambruscos loads it up. Long wait for food. Won't be back
google avatar

Gary M.

Yelp
I got the Chalkboard Special since the bbq brisket burger was on an "example menu" (which was a huge disappointment to me). The special today was the Blackened Meatloaf Sandwich. I've never heard of blackened meatloaf before but it sounded good. Along with a side or soup, which I got the fruit. The sandwich, good! Melts in your mouth with the meatloaf, jack cheeses, arugula & I think aioli was in it as well but I don't recall. Lots of cheese in every bite & the arugula is a nice addition. The fruit was good & they gave me a lot! Pineapple, apple, grape, melon, blackberry, blueberry & raspberry! I was real close to getting something sweet but I didn't want to overdo it. In the mood for comfort food?! This is your place!
google avatar

Jim K.

Yelp
This was my sixth trip to Boston Deli. On four occasions, reasonably good experience, decent food. The fifth time, food was fine, but short staffed, service was very slow. This time--we waited 14 minutes and never got water or anyone to stop by our table so we left.
google avatar

Katie F.

Yelp
Lunch is casual counter service with awesome sandwiches and salads. Dinner is more formal with table service and daily specials. My wife and I like going for lunch and we've been once for dinner but will be back!
google avatar

Nicole M.

Yelp
It was so good, I forgot that there was music playing in the background. Delicious meal with a nice, intimate setting! Great service. This place is fancy enough to where you can choose to dress up and bring a date, or don't have to dress up at all and have a nice, casual meal. The lights are dimmed down and the seating seemed nice and close. There's some Jazz music playing in the background while you enjoy your meal. Loud enough to tune into it if you like jazz, but soft enough to where you can ignore it and enjoy your food. Their bread and butter? Delish! I'm not sure what bread they used, but they were soft and fluffy slices. Their white bread has some kind of seed that makes the bread taste very good. Their butter is soft to touch. Combined, you get a great starter. Hummus We ordered the chips + hummus for an appetizer, and it was alright. Their hummus tasted okay but their chips were a bit too salty for my taste. Overall, still pretty good though. The BBQ Brisket Burger One word: Wow. If you're going to get a burger, you need to get a BURGER, and go all the way and get this one. The platter came out and it was huge, enough to eat two meals! The burger is slightly dissembled, so you have your very fresh veggies: arugula, tomatoes, onions, and I'm assuming house-made pickles, on the side. The combination of the veggies was delicious, again, they were very fresh. I also really enjoyed the pickles, they seemed to be house-made, not too sour and pickled, a hint of sweetness. They have some sort of white sauce that was phenomenal. You can add it to your burger or dip your fries in it. Personally, I loved dipping my fries in it, it was so creamy and it complimented the saltiness and crunchiness of the fries. Speaking of the fries, they were very delicious! Seasoned very well and I couldn't stop eating them. I only ate half of my burger, but it was more than enough to fill me up. I wish I had more stomach space, I'd definitely eat it all if I could. The juicy, caramelized bacon complimented the patty so well. My mouth is still watering thinking about it, wish I lived in Tulsa for this burger. For dessert, we had a slice of the peanut butter and chocolate ganache. Again, WOW. Absolutely delicious. So light and creamy, all of it tasted so authentic. Wish I could devour two whole pies of this! Will definitely be back here when I'm in town again!
google avatar

Kirk M.

Yelp
Mostly known for their lunch sandwich's and homemade cakes and pies. Don't miss dinner! They are gourmet quality. Very reasonably priced. Had double boned pork chop and it was spectacular.

James S.

Yelp
Amazing food in a quaint little place. Lunch is quick and scrumptious with gourmet deli sandwiches and dinner is 5 star delicious (dimmer lights). For dinner, you might want to call ahead and reserve a table.
google avatar

Laura R.

Yelp
This place is delicious! I had the special for lunch which was an amazing BLT. The bacon is super smoky and lean. It came with a fried green tomato as the "T" and it was so good! The menu is big and while it doesn't look like it from outside, they have fancy dinners! We will definitely be coming back here to try more things. Aside from the great food and menu, the service was friendly and fantastic!
google avatar

Jon P.

Yelp
Amazing place , the folks that work there like Nathan are super nice . We had their Hasty Bake BBQ platter on Thursday still enjoying it two days later . Will definitely be one of our go to places , Congratulations on doing such a great job both before Coronavirus and after .

Yelp
My most recent visit was on a Saturday evening for diner about 7 pm. There were only three other tables seated during the time we were there. I had been here before and really enjoy the food, but the service is very poor and inattentive each time I've visited. Some of the staff even decided to lay down in a booth in the middle of the restaurant during dinner service. I'd come here again for the food, but it would be nice to see the standard of service one would receive from any other restaurant serving this quality of food. The hasty bake ribs are succulent and flavorful with great caramelization, the charred green beans are a great side dish, and I also like the fries too. The pulled pork flautas come with a I know his place has been around for many years, and I enjoy their food. I just feel they may see more repeat customers if they had a simple training session on proper service and etiquette for their staff.
google avatar

Melvin O.

Yelp
Been meaning to check this place out for about a year now. Place is located in an unassuming strip mall, hiding in plain site :) Walked in the restaurant and blown away by the cool jazz music playing overhead. Staff is nice and courteous! Me and the lady grabbed a quick lunch. She ordered the smoked turkey sandwich with smoked tomato soup. I ordered the soup as well with a classic Rueben. We split a Caesar salad as well. Caesar salad was really good, my Rueben was very good and her smoked turkey sandwich was what you would expect. Food didn't take very long to come out. Overall good spot to come for lunch. They do have pastries as well for your sweet tooth!
google avatar

Leah S.

Yelp
Super delicious food but do not call in any orders to go and have any expectation of them being ready (or even in preparation) prior to arriving at the restaurant. I've only ever been here for lunch but I hear they have great dinner service as well. Small and intimate with excellent food has been my experience.
google avatar

Vivian C.

Yelp
Holy moly. Dinner here is DELICIOUS. You must must must try this place for dinner! I would suggest coming early on a Saturday evening because they run out of a lot, but what's left over is still great! They serve you bread that is made in-house which has the perfect crunch to the crust. The bread itself is lightly seasoned and tastes like stuffing. For the actual meal, I ordered the short rib and my boyfriend had the pork chop. The meat was juicy and tender and perfectly complimented by the sides. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Don't forget to finish off your meal with their house-made pie!

Yelp
We tried this place for lunch today and loved it. I don't know why I had never heard of it before, or why I had never seen the previous 5 star rating before here on Yelp--we tried it totally by chance. It is a cheap but upscale restaurant at lunch, with great sandwiches. I had the smoked roast beef au jus (like a French Dip) and I thought it was great. My wife had the smoked chicken salad sandwich and pronounced it the best sandwich she has had in years. We both had soup to go with it, plus drinks, and it was $15 total. The guy said they smoke all their own meat there in the store, and it was easy to taste that in the food without it being overpowering. The decor was casual, and the chalk menu was charming. In the evenings they apparently have a different menu every day. This week's worth of menus was printed on a sheet of paper on each table, and the selection looked incredible but a little higher priced ($15-22 per entree). We're anxious to go back and try it for dinner asap. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because we also had the "Chocolate Wall" cake for dessert and it was a bit not-fresh. Otherwise, this is definitely one of our new favorite places in Tulsa.

Victoria A.

Yelp
Amazing food with really good daily specials! Staff was very friendly and food is a responsible price!
