Boston Donuts is a staple in La Habra, if you're looking for the best donut shop around this is it! They have a wide variety of donuts to choose from as well as breakfast sandwiches that they make right in front of you! The service is excellent and the staff is both friendly and provide fast service, which is important when you're a popular spot. Parking is great and easily accessible from both imperial and Idaho st. and very convenient to be in and out within 5 minutes. If you'd like to stay and eat they also have a nice little counter where you can enjoy your breakfast and coffee, as well as enjoy the classic atmosphere of the shop. Support this local shop!!! I would much rather support this local business and not the chain they're building next door.

LOVE this place!! Fresh donuts, great people, and they gave me 4 extra donuts on my birthday for free!! (I didn't ask so don't either) So sad Krispy Kreme is going in across the street but they will power through like back in 2000 with the other one (where the Chick-fil-A is) TRUE LA HABRA CITIZENS WILL KNOW!!!! 100/10

One of La Habra's hidden gems. Honey dipped chocolate are my favorite then their maple bars. Welcoming service and same day made fresh doughnuts and coffee. Not happy about KK comin' in directly across the street soon. So support this Pop & Mom establishment!!

It is truly a Gem !! Hidden in the neighborhood. Their donuts always fresh and like just out of the oven. The owner is so friendly makes sure you having good experience at this donut shop. Their cream filled donuts must try.

Walking into Boston Donuts is like walking into a portal back to a late 1980s Dunkin Donuts. The decor is the same, the layout is the same and even the donut flavors are the same. All the classics from the glory days, from simple powdered cinnamon to the cream filled and jelly were there and tasted better than they ever had when I was a kid. Also, not only are these the first French Cruellers I've seen in Southern California, they are easily as good as any I could find on the East Coast. That Krispy Kreme being built across the street is so doomed, because there's way they match the quality and homey feeling of Boston Donuts.

These donuts are amazing! Honey Dipped Chocolate and Bavarian Cream, the best! The staff are friendly and helpful! Will be back!

Had a negative experience here once before but decided to give them another shot, ever since then I've been coming back and have had positive experiences so far. My son loves donuts, so his occasional treat is a powder donut. This place has lots of donuts made daily, with a larger selection available of course in the morning. The lady at the register is usually the same one, and she is nice. They sell the things like breakfast sandwiches and smoothies, but I've never tried them. They also have a counter you can sit at if you want to eat there. The donuts themselves are nothing super spectacular, but they do taste fresh when grabbing some earlier in the day.

I love this place. The lady always gives me a compliment donut if I order a lot. Price is very reasonable. I support a small business owner. Thank you for your hard work.

I get donuts for work every Fridays morning and the ladies at the counter started to notice my routine so now, they have my 3 boxes prepped and ready so I don't have to wait. The donuts are delicious and fresh and everyone at work looks forward to them every Friday.

Honestly, where you purchase your donuts definitely makes a huge difference! And if you are picking up for an office full of people then look no further!! I only recommend a couple places and Boston is one of the top two around. Very fresh, great variety! People love the Red Velvet, so unique. My favorite always is the vanilla cake with rainbow sprinkles on the white frosting and Boston's does not disappoint. Apple Fritters can be dry and borderline burned at some joints, but not here! There actually are lines at Boston at super random times during the day. A sweet snack after dinner? Here ya go! East more "hole foods", I say! Plus I read a funny saying once, "I only allow myself one donut per year.... this morning I had 433 BC, 1731 and 1952." haha!! Life's donut motto right there. CHEERS!!!

I've never really had a bad donut anywhere, and this place isn't any different. Got a dozen donuts for work and it was around $17. I only tried the old fashioned, and it was really good. Not too sweet and really good texture.

I stopped by to buy two dozen mixed donuts for my child's school and my construction workers. Got there early so there were a lot of options to choose from. I really like how you can get mini cinnamon rolls and apple fritters included in the dozen. They also have the bigger sizes that are purchased separately. Decent service. Decent donuts. Will be back

Everyone here is so friendly. You can see that they love their regulars. The place looks like it's from the 70s but that's what I want in a donut place. I don't want one of those fancy places where designer donuts are $4- I want a place that gives you donuts in a normal box. Their guava jelly donuts are fantastic, and I try to buy all of them whenever I stop by. Go to this place instead of the new Krispy Kreme that's opening next door to them.

Yummy and fresh donuts but the service is sometimes extremely slow!! They could be in trouble when the new donut place opens directly across the street.

This place is soooo good ! My guilty pleasure! You need to try the apple fritters and the cinnamon rolls. Those two are my favorite, but I also get the red velvet doughnut the pink with the sprinkles and the chocolate doughnut. Customer service is great from the lady usually there, it's not busy but there's always someone in there enjoying a cuppa coffee or a doughnut, they also have a lottery machine if you want to buy a scratcher. I've been coming here for the last seven years and there's never been a time with disappointed.

We haven't had these donuts in a while, and we wanted to try and order them again by phone. I wanted to ask if I could pay for the donuts I ordered when they came at the door using cash, so I did. The person taking my call just replied with, "I'll be right back", and they never returned after saying so. I was waiting for 5 minutes, and in the background of the call I heard indistinct voices, until everything went silent on my end after 3 minutes. I decided to hang up finally, and try the call again, but the call immediately hung up, and beeped thrice. I tried once more, but it didn't allow me to call the number anymore; All I received was a small pop-up message at the bottom saying, "call not sent". I mean, you tell me.

The cashier tried to cheat me and give me only half my change back . When I tried to tell her she insisted her calculations were correct so I had to do the math for het . People make mistakes and that's fine but she was really angry about it .

Donuts are great! Sandwiches are delicious! My uncle used to come here everyday when he was living.

My issue is not with the donuts they are fine the owner likes to overcharge for drinks you need to be competitive if you charge too much people are not going to buy from you concerning the Starbucks drink you should be selling the tall Starbucks bottles for $4 not the small ones

The donut quality is not the same. This place used to be good, but now it's lost the quality. Don't recommend these donuts to anyone.

Went here at 8 pm with my bf and the lady here was saying racist shit in spanish. "I dont like it when asians come here because they don't tip." And obviously, we didn't tip after that.

$3.80 on the sign. Was told $3.80 at the register and I handed her a $5. I got .07 cents back and I don't think this flat pancake of a croissant is worth $5.00 anyway

Decided to stop by this place to try a ham and cheese croissant. I was super disappointed that that they dont make them in house. It's as if they bought a bunch of croissants from the store and then slice them open to put ham and cheese inside. I could easily do that myself and save a lot if money, they charge 5$. The reason I come to doughnut shops is to get one they bake in house that is different than the stores croissants. I didn't think I would have to ask that before ordering but it seems I should have. Over all super sad, disappointed, and frustrated. Never coming back, I recommend you go to a real doughnut shop.

I am Jessica. I really enjoy the donuts here in the La Habra area located at Boston Donuts. From my years of experience tasting donuts. This place always has freshly soft baked ready to serve donuts. It doesn't matter where you currently at or how far you have to travel or drive at least you will always know you can count on Boston Donuts. Their staff is very nice and it feels like your in a nice comfy coffee shop and with yummy tasty donuts. You can be just getting up in the morning and want a donut or late before they close but you can always be sure to have a fresh donut ready for you and it will always taste the same and delisous. So good you'll want to buy alot and come back for more and every day it will taste just as good almost as if they already know how you feel and know what you want and need for your tummy. It was my first time trying these donuts and first time at this donut shop but I came back worried it wouldn't taste the same each time but I have been coming back almost every day and it's just as exactly how I want it each and every day and I would rather get a donut here than any where else. The coffee is pretty good and the donuts are as well. Unfortunately they have the most pathetic Customer Service value I've ever seen in my life. I work very hard for my money and I expect to be treated just nice that's all not ignored. How do I expect him to do anything special just be nice that's all.

I usually don't write the review. I've been buying donuts so many times but today was the worst day. When I went in, two flies flew around the donuts and landed on it. Also the donuts taste horrible. It is 100% sure that they didn't make today. So dry... my son said it tastes weird... I am going to call them let them know as well. At least they don't do it again. I am not going back there ever again.

Their donuts are always fresh! Very friendly owner. With the amount of volume they sell, they might bake twice a day. I came in around 8pm last night and they were sold out of most their donuts. I wanted their Bavarian cream but it was sold out and ended up getting the honey dipped chocolate donut. It was still fresh and quite delicious. The lady gave me one small donut Bavarian cream donut hole cuz she felt bad. Price is reasonable. Donuts shops are tough business. Wish them all the best. Very nice people.

Review for the lady working behind the counter who was extremely rude for me asking if they still served the chocolate crème filled donut. If you have been coming to this place for years you should know that they served a variety of filled donuts Including chocolate. So I asked the lady if they had some chocolate filled ones and she said they never made those donuts. I told her that I've been to the store many times and always got that and she continued to denied making them. If you look at the food images you can clearly see someone uploaded a chocolate filled donut. I then proceeded to ask her if they had changed management and she responded " why are you asking"? In Spanish all rude. This entire conversation was in Spanish but this lady working Night Shift was extremely rude and condescending. FYI the cherry filled donuts tasted old. Clearly this place is under new management of ppl that don't give a shit.

I lived in Boston for many years and moved back to Cali but especially around fall and winter time, I miss Mass a lot especially friends, peoples, foliage & snow...(..??) One might ask winter & snow?? But yes winters can be brutal. Blizzard, Nor'easter ( snow waist high sometimes and wind spinning on and on for hours & days). Each time passing by the street, the Sign Boston donut touch me, finally got to stop after soup & rice for breakfast. Many choices of donuts and friendly cashier. Good coffee with convenient condiments. Had a good antique machine & warm vibe with Tv for news, sports. They also have lottery scratch tickets machine so you can test your luck for fortunes.

I've been here a couple times recently during the summer and really enjoyed their donuts. I'm used to eating Krispy Kreme, so the prices are definitely cheaper and I love that their jelly donuts have lots of filling. Ordered 9 donuts: 3 strawberry, 2 blueberry, 2 apple, 1 apple fritter, & 1 chocolate chocolate peanut. The filled donuts are always excellent!!! Was disappointed they were out of some filled donuts: cherry and raspberry. I guess we came too late. We used a coupon and it took forever, I'm not sure if the worker knew how to do it because we used it before and it worked so I'm not sure what the problem was, but we got our donuts half price so we were happy! Eat the donuts that day, I just my strawberry donut a day later and it doesn't taste the same, all the sugar and sweetness is gone!

Quality is okay, not horrible but not great! Pricing is expensive for a basic donut $1.85.

Their glazed ring donut is amazing!! You can never get sick of it. Plus, they also sell lottery tickets which I'd never buy, but sometimes my mom asks me to get one for her whenever there's a big jackpot.

Delicious donuts! I got 1/2 dozen and she threw in a free donut! It was such a good deal too - $7.50 for 6 donuts. Will be back to try more flavors. Such a good neighborhood spot to get donuts at a great price.

Nice little place. Gave me the feeling that the owners here are not the type that only want your money, but are actually trying to produce quality donuts. They made a wide range of donuts and also pastries as well. There were so many to pick from. The inside was well kept for a donut shop. I got the boston cream donut as well as the smaller donut holes. Because we ordered so many, she threw in a free one on the house as well. Such a sweet lady. The donut was not disappointing. For me, it worked out well. The balance between the cream and dough was perfect as well as the sweetness. It wasn't saturated with sugar, but it wasnt boring dough either. I would come back and try their other stuff. They dont open too late though, so check their hours as well.

Love this place. Great for early morning breakfast and donuts. They open before 5am so if a great place to stop during early morning road trips.

This isn't one of those fancy donut places with Instagram-worthy photo ops, but moreso your typical Mom and Pop shop. They have your standard variety of donuts, croissants, muffins, assorted beverages and coffee. I really like the fact that they sell a nice variety of mini donuts, as I enjoyed a solid mini maple bar that was fluffy and tasted as good as the large ones I'm used to! The mini donuts cost $0.70, which seems a little steep, but I personally think they're worth it. I wanted to try some of their larger donuts, but they were already out of the chocolate cream one at 8:30am, which is what I had my heart set on! I ended up trying a ham and cheese croissant as well, but it was disappointing. They just threw some ham and a slice of cheese onto a cut up croissant and heated it up in the toaster oven, so it was pretty much something you could easily replicate at home. I've definitely had better ones at other donut shops before where the ham and cheese were actually baked into the layers of the croissant. Overall, this place is decent if you just happen to be in the area, but it's nothing to drive out of your way for.

So funny story this place use to be a Dunkin' Donuts before they closed all the stores on the west coast. Then they rename the store Boston donuts. They haven't change the set up or anything. It looks like the same place I been too since I was a kid. The workers and owner are very friendly and sometimes they will let you have more donuts at no cost. The donuts are fresh in the morning and very fluffy. I like getting the glazed twist chocolate frosted. My next favorite is the apple fritter. It has enough apple bites in it. Overall I highly recommend this place if you want some donuts. It taste just like Dunkin' Donuts.

One of the best donut shops in the area for sure. Everything is nice and neat and very organized. Like many have stated, the labels help you know exactly what you are ordering. They seriously have a donut for all kinds of tastes, even mini donuts for those of us that are on a "diet" but still want a taste of a delicious donut. It is best to approach this particular donut shop either by coming north on Idaho St. or west on Imperial. It is on the corner of Imperial and Idaho, but kind of hard to get to if coming from the North or West. You can always just park in the Post Office parking lot and just walk from there as well. Prices are a little higher than other places, but the quality is pretty spot on. The customer service is decent as well. I have never had any problems here and have enjoyed all the delicious fried goodness I have gotten from here. Give it a shot, there is a reason why the ratings are good for a this donut shop!

I haven't been here in many years and decided to stop by, wow what a shame this place went downhill. Donuts are mediocre and don't taste homemade. You can tell they skimp out on ingredients to save money but yet they still overcharge their customers. I won't be coming back.

First time visiting this donut shop and I would like to say I had a very pleasant experience. The worker was very nice and welcoming, she greeted us as soon as we walked in and answered all the questions we asked politely! For the cream horn she said she would add more cream as when she pick it out of the case it wasn't completely filled. The donuts itself don't taste old and stale like they have been sitting there the whole day. The selection of donuts it quiet wide with regular, cakes, and jelly filled ones. First time here- I was ANTicipating a warm donut this morning. None to be had, except a box of old ones crawling with ants and gnats (see VIDEO) I lost my appetite thank you. Disappointed to say the least. Maybe I'll try another day after they've got... the bugs worked out. I would have gave one star... but they got two stars because they were open, kind of like the equivalent of getting points for just putting your name on the top of the grade school paper. The staff seemed as though they would rather not be there, too.

Donuts are always good there when they are fresh. Reason for 3 STARS is the fact that they have signs up for wearing masks indoors and sanitizing yet there were 5 customers ahead of us that were inside the shop and not wearing masks and the staff was not asking any of the customers to wear one.

I'm typically not a fan of donuts but these hit different. I love the French cruller here. Ive tried it at other donut shops and they all taste different or weird, I can see why they aren't a hit to many. But the ones here are so fluffy and eggy and they don't dry out like other places. The Apple fritters are huge and all their donuts are really fresh. Usually quite busy in the mornings and the parking lot is small.
