Boston Harbor Shipyard & Marina

A great informal marina, with limited frills but very helpful staff and great slips for larger boats (and smaller ones too). A super community of sailors and live-aboards who have been here for years. The location is fantastic with splendid views of the Boston skyline, lots of restaurants within a ten minute walk, the best cider brewery in the US on site, many other great things and a ten minute walk to the airport shuttle! Thanks to all the BHSM staff and "residents" 🙏🍁

Well.. i could say it has a great view for boston skyline view when piers park and other parks are closed. Just be courteous. No chair available to sit upon

THE BOSTON HARBOR SHIPYARD IN EAST BOSTON HAS A LOT GOING ON THERE. IT WAS BETHLEHEM STEEL MANY YEARS AGO. THEY BUILT SHIPS THERE. NOW THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF BOATS THERE.PEOPLE LIVE ON THEM YEAR ROUND. THERE IS A RESTAURANT THERE. YOU CAN FUEL UP YOUR BOAT THERE. THEY DELIVER THE FUEL RIGHT TO YOUR BOAT.

Had to help drop off a beam after escorting it from Port, Jervis, NY. Did not do business there. But the view was nice.

It's interesting to see the dichotomy of gentrification against the few blue collar industrial businesses that are left at the shipyard. The white collar people resent the industrial businesses taking up space that could be used for more condos or apartments.

Too much fun!

Art abounds at this soothing shipyard where you'll see more grunge than swarms of tourists. Getting here is hard but half the fun.

This marina is a hidden gem across the harbor. One of the best places to keep your boat. The dockage fees are one of the lowest around the Boston area. No more swinging on a mooring. The views of the city are amazing night or day. Although you are next to Logan Airport there is zero plane noise. The docks are spacious compared to Constitution Marina. You are so close to the outer and inner harbor and the harbor islands. You are also one block from the Mavericks Tstop on the blue line for easy access to downtown Boston or you can take a water taxi which stops here. Easy access to Logan Shuttle at the Hyatt next door. If you have kids, this is next to Piers Park which is a great Park for swings slides and water fountains. The facilities are OK. Not great but not bad. If they could update their bathrooms/showers/laundry facility the place would be five stars. The manager and staff are very friendly and responsive. One bonus is the Australian restaraunt called KO Pies onsight is such a treat. I can't imagine having my boat anywhere else in Boston.

Poor customer service and communication. Would not recommend this place ! Our needs were not addressed.

Rainy skies but wonderful old friends coming together over excellent food made for a memorable reunion. The drop-off point for many cruises makes this a great hub for retailers.

This a very good marina. We keep our 32 ft sailboat here over the winter. We have kept our boat at 2 other marinas and BHSM is the best. They are professional, courteous and responsive when you need help. They are the first boat yard in 9 years that scheduled the haul-out while I was present so I could see the conditions before they pressure washed the bottom.

One of the best in my opinion. Wifi is great, location is great, property is clean and everyone is like family. Food on site, gas on site, small shop on site all reasonably priced!

My first visit to this somewhat out-of-the way marina. At this time there is a wonderful sculpture exhibit. Plenty of parking, stroll, watch the boats. I hear the restaurant has great meat pies but we did not have a chance to sample. Next to Piers Park... nice spot.
