Do not buy the chicken and meatloaf combo. The chicken was good but the meatloaf was old. When I called and spoke with the manager she just wanted to gaslight. Arrogant and didn't care about my concern for the nasty meatloaf. DO NOT BUY MEATLOAF FROM BOSTON MARKET.

Google
Boston market, is not what it use to be! I see why they are closing down! The food is horrible now! No flavor or taste in the food, any more! The customer service is none existent. I went in the one on Roosevelt boulevard, it used to be my favorite one. And it was empty! This place was never empty no matter what time of day or night it was, I knew from their something was wrong! I haven't eaten there for some time, and I didn't expect it to be so empty! I was the only one in their! After I got my order, I seen they didn't even have the Boston market bags just regular plastic bags with no name! Got home started eating! And I knew right then I made a mistake going there! I end up throwing it in the trash! The quilting of the food was not there no more.i will never eat there again! And I used to love eating their! Never again!

Google
At least twice a week. I will drive across the bridge from New Jersey to this Boston market in Philadelphia. It is the closest location to me since they have closed down all locations in New Jersey. It's worth the trip each time for the food and the service. I am a quarter white platter guy and I never leave disappointed. The portions are fair and good and usually the food is pretty fresh. Still the best rotisserie chicken. I enjoy. No disrespect to anybody else.

Google

Google
It was glad to see a Boston Market in Philadelphia since we no longer have them in my local area. The chicken was overcooked and dry. The mashed potatoes were consistent and the creamed spinach was the star of the show. Unfortunately, their prices have gotten out of control. It turned out to be a very expensive lunch for two.

Google
Literally the worst Boston market ever. They knew they weren’t giving me what I asked for & what they gave me was horrible. The bread was hard but too bad I didn’t realize they didn’t give me what I ordered until I got home !

Aleesa R.

Google
For some reason, I was surprised they were empty on a Friday afternoon. But once I saw my food I knew why. It’s not the same. I ordered a sandwich, it had a HAIR it on, and the bread was a cold roll from the supermarket. No brioche bread.. sandwich was messy. They were unable to even communicate with me . Don’t waste your money. Awful

Google
As soon as I walked in nobody greeted me. I got a bowl when I opened it the turkey looked uncooked and the food was cold. I ended up throwing up my food due to it not. Sitting on my stomach right from this place. Never again! I never had an issue with Boston BUT this unacceptable

Yelp
Visiting Philly for a few days, we made a quick stop to grab some food from BM since we don't have it back home. The meat was juicy and tender, but I could've used a little more heat as we both love spicy food. I am not a potato-lover but I tried a bite of my husband's mashed potatoes and surprisingly liked it more than my mac and cheese. Service was fast, the cashier had great energy and was super friendly.

Yelp
Stopped by after a morning workout because my boyfriend loves this place so I had to give it a try. The mac and cheese was o total winner - 10/10, perfectly cheesy. Mashed potatoes were smooth and buttery, just missing a little sth to make them truly good 9/10. The meat had that crispy and flavourful crust though it could've been a more tender 9/10. I'm not really into creamed spinach so my bf ended up eating mine. Left feeling full and satisfied - I'd come back for sure)!

Nora L.

Yelp
First of all I DoorDash this order. The cram spinach was horrible it taste like it was out of a can. My sweet potato casserole was not cooked all the way through and the chicken was dry and had no seasoning whatsoever so ever. I recommend you guys close all your locations because Boston market is not the same it's horrible.

Yelp
I understand most if not all Boston Markets have closed. I happened upon this location and it was open! Beware- this does not seem like legit Boston Market food. They don't wear uniforms, there are no "Boston Market"containers, bags, cups, etc. what is going on! I was not happy with my food because it didn't taste like Boston Market, the mashed potato was awful, & the presentation around the counter was different. They also sold supermarket brand apple pies!

Yelp
Come here for the signature rotisserie chicken and mashed potatoes. Expect long waits; rude, slow service; and high prices. The gravy tastes like toilet cleaner, so avoid it. Most of the sides are nearly flavorless. The neighborhood is lower class and dangerous. Traffic is congested. But again, the rotisserie chicken and mashed potatoes trump the negatives.

Yelp
Boston Market is now ruined. It is horrible. Bland food and WAY overpriced. It has gone down the crapper in the last 5 years.

Nellie S.

Yelp
Hard chicken sandwich ..even the dog don't eat it..and missing mashed potatoes. Gave us a number to call and it was a civilians real number. Food was horrible.

Yelp
Man, Boston Market has fallen on hard times. The location closest to us closed so we picked up this place off of DoorDash. Huge mistake. First red flag was we got a call they didn't have apple pie and it was the only dessert we wanted. We told them to refund it, they tried to swap it out for brownies. Sure enough, food arrived and we were charged for the pie and given brownies. The meal came in a plastic bag, which is illegal in the city. Guess the location can't afford marketed Boston Market paper bags anymore. Food were in styrofoam containers instead of the trademark plastic Boston Market ones. Red flags were piling up. Our chicken bowl didn't come with gravy and my all-white half chicken was a breast and a thigh. The chicken was dry, mashed potatoes were just not good. Even the cornbread was bland. I don't know if it's this location or the entire brand but Boston Market is done. EDIT: Forgot to add: no utensils.

Yelp
Omg! what happened to Boston Market the food is awful the mashed potatoes isn't real it's the most disgusting mashed potatoes I have ever tasted before the food used to be delicious they tried to serve me a chicken that didn't look appealing. I wouldn't even feed it to my pet it was really horrible and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It's a low quality food.

Yelp
I was in Boston Market on Roosevelt Boulevard on 05/01/2023. I ordered 1/2 white chicken meal. I was informed the current price for 1/2 white chicken meal was $15.99. This $15.99 price was entered in the POS and I would be charged $15.99. I stated, a customer expects to pay the price listed on menu board. The customer doesn't know what is coded in the POS. I questioned why wasn't the price changed on the menu board? I received a "shrug" of the shoulders. My message to the Corporation of Boston Market, if you are increasing the prices in the POS, then show the increase on menu board. The POS and the menu board prices MUST be aligned for customers.

Yelp
spend a good deal.of money here . (our choice of course ) but can never seem to get napkins at all or a plastic utensil of any kind in my big bag .ever . no big deal ? wrong ... big deal when you spend money and may be eating away from home . even days when we eat at home ,napkins ,utensils would be a nice touch. geez last time this family of 6 spends here .

Yelp
I had a take- out order this past Sunday. It was ready, right on time. I like the (white, styrofoam) containers they are using now, instead of the type they were using before. The chicken is usually very good, but this time it was dry.

Yelp
It was relatively busy for a Thursday night I thought. I had ordered ahead online because there was a 2 for 1 special. I was a little early for pickup but an employee took my order number and put it all together very quickly. Maybe now it was too quickly because I ended up with food poisoning within 2-3 hours of finishing 1/2 my meal. ... not a good way to end a night

Chane V.

Yelp
I never usually write reviews. But I'm beginning to see a common trend at the Philadelphia locations. I'm not sure which is worse the Aramingo or Roosevelt and Busleton location. There are a bunch of kids running around, having full blow conversations at the register, yelling "what time you get off" to their coworker while speaking to a customer. Those "kids" were Boston Market employees. There didn't appear to be someone in charge at all. All of them appeared to be 18 and under with very poor work ethic and minimal customer service skills. As far as the food is concerned they were limited in vegetables and the food looked like it was sitting for hours. The area where the food was kept was not well kept of clean.

Service is so fast. Love it, food it's delicious and always have it nice and warm, I go for lunch and still have enough time to come back to eat it an enjoy

Yelp
So... STORY TIME. I arrived at this specific branch of Boston Market on Jan. 30th 2020, at around 8:50PM with my sister. She ordered via the mobile app and the expected order pickup time was set at 8:51PM. There were already two people, who were delivery drivers for GrubHub and DoorDash, waiting in front of us. At the time we arrived, there were also 4 people in line waiting to order on the spot and one person who came in right behind us. My sister waited until a minute or two after the order prepared time to ask if her order was ready. One of the employees, a male in a red shirt, immediately said "We gotta take care of the orders of those who came in before you and the gentlemen waiting for their mobile orders." See, this was fine for me and my sister. We both did not care to wait another few minutes. So after 10 more minutes the four people in line were already served, and one of the two delivery drivers also got their orders. After another 5 minutes the other delivery guy had already got their order and left while 2 other people who came in to order on the spot also left already. It wasn't until I went up to ask again in place of my sister that another employee checked on our order and finally completed it at 9:18PM!!! HERE'S THE KICKER. I probably should've mentioned that the order time of both delivery guys were posted on this electronic screen along with my sister's order. My sister's pickup time was set at 8:51PM while the two other delivery men's pickup times were set at 9:08PM and 9:11PM respectively!!! So BOTH were able to leave wayyy earlier than their pickup times by 5-10 minutes each. Meanwhile we were still there waiting, staring at the food, the floor, the ceiling, and occasionally the servers, just about anything to keep us occupied. By the time I finally went up to ask about our order that's when a female server INSTEAD of the male who told us to wait, finally checked on the order numbers. So our containers, which already had the rotisserie chicken waiting in the boxes and getting cold, were only missing the sides. The lady proceeds to FINALLY, at 9:15PM, finish our orders, but lo and behold they were out of mac & cheese. HOWEVER 10 minutes ago if they had finish our order earlier there would've been some left. Luckily the manager who is a speedy guy, comes to refill the mac & cheese immediately and we get to leave after another 3 minutes. Our end total wait time was 25-30 minutes after the designated pick up time on the app. So my first of a million questions: Why is there even a designated pick up time if all we had to was go in person and order on the spot to get quicker service than ordering through the mobile app??? The male employee who told us to wait provided fast service to everyone else and he even gave one of the delivery guys a small cup for soda as an apology for the wait time. So, I can only imagine how early the delivery guy must have gotten there and thought it would be a quick grab and go deliver deal only to be like "sh*t, I'mma die of old age waiting here." The most annoying part of this whole experience was the fact that the male employee continued to act sassy as all hell and began sharing snide remarks to all of his coworkers. Meanwhile, my sister and I are just waiting there dumbfounded. We didn't even show our resting bitch faces as we waited the whole time. I even tried giving off a smile so I wouldn't look as pissed off as I was feeling. By the end of it, we didn't even get an apology for the wait time or anything. See, if it was just the wait time, that would not have pissed me off as much. The sheer f***ing attitude of the toxic male employee who spread his bullsh*t to the rest of the staff, who all then proceeded to ignore us, really peeved me. This was the WORST experience I ever had here. A bit of context, I'm from the NE area and this is my hometown. I come here once or twice a month because I enjoy the food and I've had generally good experiences. Of course there are occasional mishaps, but I've never experienced service this f***ing sh*tty in 20+ years of living in this neighborhood. Maybe it was due to the manager not working the front this time so he couldn't see how crappy some of his employees were treating customers. Who knows. Will I go to a Boston Market again? Maybe. Here? Sure as HELL NO.

Yelp

Yelp
I have not had Boston Market in a looooooooong time but I had a hankering for it! I stopped in on my way to work and I was super excited for this. To my dismay, when I entered there were about 8-10 patrons in front of me. I thought "eh...it should move pretty quickly...". I was wrong. There were two people serving the customers. Unfortunately they were slow, and took their sweet time preparing the food and then ringing up the orders. Additionally one of the servers disappeared for a few minutes into the back. When she reappeared she was carrying several "to stay" dishes. Despite the fact that the line continued to grow, she proceeded to unstack the dishes and place them all separately out to dry. I thought this was kinda ridiculous given the length of the line. Plus as I said, I was on my way to work and did not have loads of time to waste. When I was finally served I ordered the half chicken with lemon garlic spinach and mashed potatoes which is served with a yummy piece of corn bread. The meal was fresh and did not disappoint plus it satisfied my craving. Would have liked to have given the venue at least 4, if not 5 stars, but I was very disappointed with the service. This is something that could have easily been avoided.

Yelp
I had to give it 5 stars. Can't say anything negative about this place. It's organized and efficient. Food is consistently tasty. The place is clean. Service is good. (There are no fun jobs, better them than me.)

Yelp
I really like this Boston market because customer service is very good. This Boston market also reminds me of when I was younger my dad would take me and my sisters here for lunch. So every time I go to this Boston market it brings back simple good memories since my dad passed away.

Yelp
Had a great experience thanks to the manager, Byhnel. We had a situation but he was very accommodating and we ended up leaving with everything we needed. If you're looking for a Boston market to go to make sure to come to this location off of Levick.

Johnathan W.

Yelp
Visited the area, and had a taste for BM. Normally BM always delivers. The food is normally fresh and tasty with very nice portions. Today was clearly not the case. Once we entered, the manager was pushing their "new" rotisserie Marsala chicken. It looked good on the picture! So we jumped right in. Our order came out timely as normal. We sat down, and at first, it looked really good. Then I noticed the cuts were "REALLY" small. Almost Cornish hen size. Maybe it was just small chickens. No worries, so I bite in and immediately noticed not only were the cuts small, but very old. It was very very chewy. I removed the sauce and found that in fact it was old, days old. So out of respect for the establishment, I went up and requested to speak to the manager. I asked he come to my table to speak privately. After waiting 20 min at a chicken joint, I went up again, this time a bit pissed. I requested him a 2nd time. He didn't show AT ALL! He sent his assistant Manager. She was pleasant and extremely helpful. I told her I have been eating chicken for a looooong time and I know when it's not as fresh as it should be. she apologized and took care of us immediately. The first order was so bad, I tossed it in the trash receptacle. BM, you need to remove the manager, he doesn't understand customer's come first. Rose deserves the opportunity to make it right the first time. The problem is, I normally never complain, this had to be said. BM will be liable for making someone sick selling them old chicken. I believe it's a violation of the OSHA law. If you expect better, you must do better. Give your customer's what they pay for.

Yelp
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE!! Today I decide to come to Boston market to eat because why not. I went ordered online and yeah. So I ended up waiting for a HALF HOUR!! Yeah half hour for a plate of food! like that it crazy!! and the worst part is that I am a mother of a special needs child and I had to leave my son in the car because I couldn't bring him outside with me. And it is hot and my car is small and he was screaming because he is hungry and he doesn't know how to be patient. Like I got here at 5:30 and only got my food at 7:00. Like thats crazy!! also chick-fil-a has way more costumers to feed and even their wait time doesn't take this much time! I went there today for my daughter and there were like so many other people in front of me and I still got my order in under 10 min. So Boston market take notes from chick-fil-a because their service is better!

Yelp
Employees are super nice, and patient. If I need to add an item to my order at the register they have always accommodated.
