Boston Medical Center

My experience at Boston Medical Center's ER was extremely negative. Despite arriving by ambulance with chest pain, I was left unattended for 45 minutes. The staff were rude and dismissive, showing a careless attitude. I strongly advise against relying on this ER for serious medical issues. The hospital must address its staffing and patient care problems.

I would like to take a moment to say thank you so much to Dr. Tony Tannoury, Dr. Ryan Kelaghan, Dr. Neil Shah and some of the nurses at Menino 4 East of Boston Medical Center ( Karen, Hannah, Hayley and Kaitlyn - sorry I forgot some names 🤦), for your kindness, diligence and professionalism during my recent spine surgery and afterward treatment. I was so scared that I wasn't able to walk again that I hesitated for a long time to go ahead with the procedure but I'm feeling way much better now! You guys are the best! Shout out to an amazing team! God bless you all!

Do better with the Moakley entrance parking BMC. Went to pick my neice up on Saturday after an inpatient procedure and there were approximately 6+ unattended vehicles (for over 30 mi utes) making pickup much more difficult/stressful than it needed to be. Security went by several times. Disappointed that those vehicles were not towed to accommodate patience needs. Also when a pediatric patient needs a wheelchair to the entrance waiting over 30 minutes is excessive. Such small details can help make a child's stay less stressful and get them home quicker and help them along the road to recovery.

I'm deeply concerned about the care provided at this hospital. A patient experiencing postpartum depression was clearly in distress, repeatedly asking to see a social worker or a mental health professional because she was worried about her own safety. Despite her pleas, she was discharged without proper support. This feels extremely unprofessional and negligent. It’s heartbreaking and frightening to think that someone I care about was in such a vulnerable state and did not receive the help she was urgently asking for.

If you care about your family members in any way shape and form I would avoid this hospital, they treat the patients like animals. The patient you treated so poorly will eventually be able to talk.

If I could give them a zero I would......I just had spine surgery.... And they kicked me out without teaching me how to clean my wounds or anything. They cleared me because I could walk and use my hands even though that's not where I had surgery. I have a big rash on my neck where my would is and they even left bruises on me. I will never go to this hospital again. They have the worst nurses there ever.... They don't care about you at all.... This is in 4 east Menino building. They were horrible. Don't ever go there. You will have it bad. All they care about is the money. They don't care about you at all. BOSTON MEDICAL HOSPITAL IS THE WORST HOSPITAL IN THE WORLD. I will never go back there again....

I always regret coming to this hospital every time that I do. Even when an appointment goes well.... There is always at least one staff member that ruins the entire experience. ex: great appointment today..... until using the bathroom afterwards, where staff was trash talking the patients and using names of patients.

I want share the horrible experience I bad to go through after a surgery this morning, floor 4 observation unit is the worst place to be. It all starts from the MD’s, PCA’S Nurse(s), Social worker(s) to the front desk person feel when you have to request through your remote, they just are careless of patients. Take a nurse over 45 minutes to make it to a room, doctors are worst take them over an hour to make it to a room and just dude speak over you and just basically they tell it’s what they say or go home. Faulkner hospital has gotten way better please if you need emergency room service reconsider. Higher ups need to re-evaluate your hospital. HORRIBLE I am already having anxiety for an overnight stay.👎🏽
