Historical & Epic building with a nice statue of Benjamin Franklin. This is a really nice location and must see site. You can walk obviously to all the place on the Boston Freedom Trail. Th is stop number 6 and is well worth it!

While walking the Freedom Trial, you'll no doubt pass Boston's Old City Hall. This towering building was constructed around 1865, and features a statue of Benjamin Franklin out front. The outside is shaded by tall trees and very photogenic. History buffs will definitely want to stop and take out their cameras, read the inscriptions on the statues, and enjoy the moment.

The outside is still has the original stonework, statues and courtyard. Unfortunately the inside is being renovated and losing much of it's original character. A little sad.

The whole white housing with the statue of Franklin and Donkey/Elephant steps. Strongly recommend visitors to take a look here!! In front of this City Hall, you will find Latin School Mark on the street.

Classic and historical. Building is now used for business. Some people are performing outside by the walkway. Definitely no parking space. Find a garage

The Old City Hall in Boston, witnessed during a cold and dreary weekend, is a sight to behold. Although we didn't venture inside, the exterior's timeless beauty and impeccable preservation left a lasting impression. Its architectural grandeur stands as a testament to Boston's rich history and cultural heritage. The ornate details and majestic façade evoke a sense of awe, making it a captivating landmark to admire from the outside. This historic gem adds an enchanting touch to the city's landscape, reminding visitors of Boston's storied past and architectural splendor.

The Old City Hall of Boston has been partially converted to a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. I cannot think of a worse thing to repurpose an old building as. There are views of the cemetery where Paul Revere is interned from the bar. It is clearly a place put here to suck in the tourists. And it worked. They got me. I was hungry and went right in. I could have found a local bar or something. But here is the Old Courthouse and a Chain Restaurant. No Bueno!
