Smoothest espresso I’ve had in a long time! Very friendly, professional, and prompt service (fast wait times). Restroom is very clean. A calm cool atmosphere. Perfect for getting work done! Highly recommend.

Best cafe in BedStuy, there I said it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The vibes are warm, the staff is sweet and the drinks are delicious. 
Michael and the staff are all so lovely (Maria, Elena, Parker & Nick my all-star lineup) They curate new pretty plants and books regularly, AND they do pop-ups supporting local artists. My go-to spot to get some work/writing done. It gets busy often, but there’s almost always a seat available. AND THE PLAYLISTS ARE REALLY GOOD I always leave with a few new songs Shazammed and make new friends there on the regular. Love this place. My go-to cafe for 2 years and counting 💚🍵 #botani4ever

I love botani! The baristas are super knowledgeable and kind. They regularly have new and interesting menu items, many developed by the baristas behind the bar. They also sell items from local businesses like tumblers, candles, books, and other handmade goods. As the name suggests, they have a mini tropical jungle that makes the space feel super bright, even on gloomy days. In the warmer months, the outdoor seating is so lovely. Perfect spot to get some work done, talk to your neighbors, and get some good coffee.

I stopped by this neighborhood café one morning around 7–8 AM for a quick coffee and breakfast. It’s a small spot, but they do have indoor tables and a bit of outdoor seating, making it a peaceful place to sit, work, or just relax. A few people were already working there when I arrived, which gave it a nice, calm vibe. I ordered a regular coffee with milk, but unfortunately, the milk curdled right after being poured into the cup. I’m not sure if it was the milk or the acidity of the coffee, but it clearly wasn’t right. To their credit, the barista was kind about it, tossed it out immediately, and I switched to a plain black coffee instead. I’m not usually a black coffee fan, but it was fine. I also grabbed a plain croissant, which was simple and decent, nothing special. Overall, it’s an okay spot. If you’re in the neighborhood and want a quiet place to enjoy your coffee or get some work done, this café fits the bill—even if the food and drinks themselves are pretty average.

I wasn’t going to write a review . But it was my first time at this coffee shop and the vibe is not it. It’s not welcoming they don’t greet you . I said hello with a smile no hello back. I ordered a large matcha latte and when she was about to pour it in the cup it was the smallest cup ever. So I said “oh I wanted large and pointed to large cups on the counter “ it was hard to hear what she said but kinda mumbled - something about those cups are for other drinks? . I was very confused and annoyed. Never coming back. I will attach a picture of my “large matcha latte.”

As a coffee shop lover who has visited cafés around the world, I can confidently say that Botani is in my top 5. Today, with the snow outside and a great coffee in hand, the atmosphere feels truly unique. It’s the perfect place to enjoy an excellent cup of coffee and spend some quality time. Easily one of the best spots in this area. Highly recommended. ☕❄️

Needless to say this has become my second home and favorite 3rd space over the years. This coffee shop offers a really unique vibe with beautiful interiors, the best selection of coffee and tea beverages, along with a nice selection of novelty items that include plants, incense, candles, and ceramics. Not to mention the best staff ever (shoutout to Michael, Maria, Elena, Parker, Nick). Easily the best cafe in Bedstuy for co working, meetings, and relaxing.

Coffee is good but only to go…the vibe no so much feels like some sort of coworking space rather than a coffee shop..just a bunch of snobby people on their laptops pretending to be working. Sad because it’s a cute place and would like to actually sit there with a friend and have a pastry and a conversation but doesn’t feel welcoming.

I had the best hot chocolate I've had in a long time! Friendly staff and overall great service. I love the environment of the coffee shop. Definitely recommend!

Food: 3.5/5 *I tried the matcha latte twice and I enjoy it pretty standard matcha not the strongest but it's okay. I do love that they have the rose syrup which add a very sweet floral taste to my matcha. *I haven't tried any of the food items. But I will say I noticed they had croissants and light pastries nothing heavy. Service: 3/5 service is average nothing to rave about. Be try standard. They do greet you and are pleasant. Ambiance: Standard coffee shop vibe very trendy and minimal. Great space for WFH candidates , or people who just want to get out of the house chit chats and catch up with friends or just have a place to go to get away. It's pretty spacious and they do have outdoor seating.

I've been twice the last two days and it's just terrible vibes all around. Like a previous reviewer said, it's disgustingly hot and humid in the space and NO fans for anyone, employees included, unless that's what they're going for as a "greenhouse" or whatever despite there being little to no plants inside. The employees are rude as all hell who make it obvious they'd like to be anywhere else than being the slightest hint of friendly towards anyone (I get it, we all hate our jobs and there's no ac, but jesus, dude) and I hate places that only have their menus RIGHT at the register so you have to make a split decision on what you want or risk holding up the line. In previous review photos their menu was on the wall so idk why they decided to put it on a single sheet that you don't see until you're ordering. Stupid decision. The first day I visited I was next in line for a solid 5 minutes because both baristas were talking to their friends that were currently ordering and I sweat through my shirt just standing there (see previous comment on how hot and humid this tiny space is). Just take their order and talk to them while making their drinks - hopefully people know how to multitask especially when there's a line that's almost out the door during that moment. Unfortunately, the coffee was mediocre at best. Got a vanilla latte then a chai on different days, both honestly tasted like mud after 3 sips and spent close to $10 on each which is insane because the chai is just a premade concentrate that you add milk to. I would give one star, but the almond croissant I had was actually pretty good and the outdoor seating in the shade is nice, but that's it. There's less mediocre places in Bed-Stuy to get coffee, go there.

Had a great caramel cold brew coffee here. The cashier was very friendly and helpful with assisting me on my order. The vibes are really cute inside, all of the greenery. Gets a bit crowed with everyone sitting on their laptops. But I will definitely come back to treat myself to a ice coffee and perhaps try something else on the menu

This is a great new spot in Bed Stuy. It's super cute and sleek. Very minimalist except for some plants, but the design is cool. It reminds of of the place that used to be a few blocks away, Domicile. The staff are great and even with their large audience they still sometimes remember your drink order. They have outdoor seating and some indoor tables both a community table and some private ones. They always have the alternative milks for those of us "alternative" people and they even allow doggies to be parked up outside. It's a nice vibe there every time even when I'm just rushing to get a drink and get out. They frequently have something like a candle making the place feel and smell warm too. They also have matcha they do well and some pastries and other local products that match their aesthetic. Definitely go and get your morning coffee and vibe reset here.

The vibes here are terrible. It is always too hot, too humid, like walking into a greenhouse. No breeze, stale air, terrible customer vibes. Cashier had no change, no lids, no vibes.

Beautiful new coffee shop in bedstuy . It's so good to just walk down the block and have a nice coffee shop. It's bright and beautiful and modern . It also has loads of plants , you can purchase . They have coffee and matcha and other drinks . They also have pastries vegan and non vegan . I got the chocolate loaf cake which was pretty tasty and matcha which was delicious and strong . I came here just to journal and just chill and relax and I loved the space the energy was very chill . It seems like a nice place for people to work and read and hang with their friends and talk over a nice cup of coffee . Come through y'all !

My friend's boyfriend works here and it's owned by a Filipino person so love that! Bright lighting and cute plants. I got a chai latte with whole milk and it had a really lovely hint of spice I enjoyed with a nicely textured foamy milk throughout! The barista had on cute pants today.

I've come here quite a bit because I live around the corner and just liked it because it was super spacious and decent coffee + pastries ... but today I felt god here. I spilled my matcha latte all over my MacBook and was freaking out and immediately the baristas swooped in and helped me clean up ... I was swearing like crazy and they were so nice... they even made me another drink without me asking which I wasn't even expecting...thank you

Used to like this spot a lot but these days they play the loudest yassified house top 40 mixes like Beyoncé, SZA, insert 150bpm female pop princess here, bumped up to 10. Have no problem with these artists it's just 11am on Tuesday and I'm trying to do some work. Maybe it's to keep foot traffic up and prevent people from parking up for too long. If so, it's working.

Good coffee. Great people. Nicely done minimalist vibe. Music is on point. Just an all around excellent neighborhood cafe.

Walking around The neighborhood in need of a warm fall beverage, this Cafè is definitely a go-to for me. I was greeted at the door with a compliment and stayed for awhile to work. The people there are dope as well as the employees. If you're looking for a chill spot to write, read, or work in the area. This one should do the trick

My new favorite place! Sadly I'm not in the neighborhood, but it's worth the trip for the lovely atmosphere and great coffee. I also got to try their overnight oats, and they're delicious! Thanks y'all!

Awesome cafe in Bed Stuy . Great coffee from Devocion. Great place to get work done. Great staff who are super friendly. And to top it off great local artisan items for sale. Awesome addition to the hood
