Botswana Craft

A serene local themed market, restaurant, and conference centre. Good traditional food (some with a twist) served. Great outdoor sitting areas with even better service. Botswana Craft has hosted festivals for many music legends, and will give you that nostalgic feel if you have been to any of the festivals.

The restaurant is lovely serving local food with reasonable price. Staffs are friendly and attentive as well. The shop has a great deal of beautiful and unique handmade African crafts but they are a bit expensive.

We had almost one hour to spend at the shop. The ladies bought the black baseball hats with photos of the five most famous animals of Botswana printed above the brim. One lady, my college desk mate bought a couple of dining table coverings. I bought a book of 30 animal stories based on African mythology. The shop has a lot of other craft items. It's a lovely place. A week ago, we had a nice lunch next door in the courtyard.

Make your way through the curio shop to the courtyard restaurant, what a great vibey place Great service and even better food. Treated to rolls and butter just as i was seated. Oredered the homemade lemonade, seswaa (pulled beef), mashed potatoes, roasted veg and gravy on the side. Everything was delicious and well priced. Well worth a try. I'll definitely be back. The staff is very friendly and place is very clean. Conference room neatly set up. Just remember all electrical outlets are South African design and no adapters available. The coffee and tea was well put out of good quality. The sandwiches where very nice. The food was served as buffet style and was very tasty, traditional style food. Portions was plentiful. Drinks where tinned cool drinks. All and all a good relaxing atmosphere to have a conference.

Nice crafts, they have a wide variety of products made in Botswana, the personal was friendly, specifically a lady that helped me to find a place in Gaborone, the price is reasonable, the location is very good , behind is the Courtyard that offer traditional food of Botswana.

Great souvenir items. The craftsmanship is impressive. The quality is quite good. Some of the carvings and weavings are amazing. It's a must see if you are in Botswana.

Located within Gaborone. It's along the highway and easily accessible by taxi or combi(public transportation van) . Beautiful curio shop with African jewelry made of beads and also some woven items. There are art carvings and collectables. The premise has a restaurant named Courtyard and a conference center. The menu is quite broad and fairly priced. There's ample and secure parking spaces inside and outside the gate. The restaurant offers very delicious local food.. friendly staff and well ventilated and cool water sprinklers. There's ample sitting area too even for large crowds.
