Fancy cool place. Felt a bit too fancy for me being in Temecula, but I digress. We booked a charcuterie plate with tastings. So each person received one of two charcuterie selections (pics attached), but regardless, each of us had a the same 5 wines to try. With any charcuterie board, there are items you like better than others, overall the were really good. The wines were also good, but personally none, at least for me, were worth buying a bottle to go. I don’t live local so flying home with wine in a suitcase…needs to be special. Service was good, at times maybe a little slow as our person was also working in a different area (outside). It’s a cool spot, pretty, limited space. Oh, seems very focused on memberships fyi…

Unforgettable views, delicious white wines, a perfect sunny afternoon all to myself. Be sure to try their small bites and enjoy the atmosphere. I didn't like this winery at first but honestly, I came with the wrong people. So much better as an intimate dating spot or just a self-care.

We tried the pool cafè and the special menu for Labor Day. BBQ Rib was 10/10 vesry soft, tender and yum with a side of bbq corn and pasta and coleslaws. The orange cocktail mojito was a hit 🔥 I gave 4 stars because they had us signed a paper for my fur baby to let her in! I thought that was not necessary.

Our family of four spent most of our spring and summer at the Bottaia pool, and the experience was consistently top tier. As long-time members of the winery, we’ve always appreciated the perks, but the pool has truly become a highlight of our membership. I’ve been going to the pool for two years now, and this season was by far the best, all thanks to the amazing staff. Donavan, Quincy, and Hunter stood out every single visit. They were always on top of service, incredibly attentive, and genuinely connected with our two little ones. It’s rare to find staff who remember you, care about your family, and make each visit feel special, but they did exactly that all season long. Sadly, if I’m being honest, the experience at the pool outperformed the service you get at the winery. The pool team truly raised the bar this year. I sincerely hope Bottaia brings back their summer team next year. The consistency, kindness, and elevated service made this summer unforgettable for our family. Highly recommend the Bottaia pool experience to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-run escape in Temecula next summer.

visiting from New York, unfortunately we did to get to stay because they didn’t allow children, but I did get to observed views That are out of a magazine, interacted with staff and had a glass of wine. I found environment unbelievable I wish them well. I find it sad to find that people need to petty reviews because of things that are beyond there control, (weather/ accidentally spelling wine) things happen and as long as the service is good and the food is good that’s what matters. I will come back soon, my daughter and son-in-law rave about the place. i’m sure they will earn this five star review.

This place is seriously underrated. Great service, the reds and whites are amazing. Please check it out for yourselves. It has a relaxing atmosphere if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. Try it out!

Had a wonderful time here and was grateful to be served and accommodated by Bernadette. Highly recommend her company and the wine and food or excellent so is the live music on Sunday. Definitely coming back as wine members with guests!

First winery we visited in Temecula and we loved it. The ambiance was perfect. The wines were top notch. And we had fantastic service from start to finish — shoutout Bernadette. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a chill beautiful ambiance while enjoying their wine. The flight was fairly priced. And the views were gorgeous. We liked that there weren’t any party bus/bachelorette crowds here. We made reservations the night before for The Deck — since we were non-members. Note, a lot of the spaces are reserved for members so book accordingly. But honestly thinking we might sign up for the membership because we can def see ourselves returning over & over. Next time will check out the pool/bar area — something different than the other wineries in town.

I came here a second time today try the food and get some work done on a nice fall after noon. The weather is so perfect this year round. It's nice and quiet here with soft music. Be sure to come on a weekday for an exclusive experience. Service was amazing as always.

EDIT: Bumping my rating from 1 to 3 - The manager of BOTTAIA reached out to me this morning to make things right. She took the time to explain the situation, apologized for the issues we experienced during our visit yesterday, and even compensated us for our flights. I really appreciate the company's efforts to address the problem, and I'm willing to give this place another try on my next visit! Original review: This place was suggested quite a few times while I was searching on Reddit, so I decided to check it out. We had reservations at The Deck for a wine tasting, and since they offer wine flights there, that's what we went with for our 2 p.m. reservation. We arrived a little early and were seated before 2. What was really frustrating, though, was that we weren't greeted for the first 30 minutes. The service here was honestly disappointing. Our server was very nice once they finally came by--no complaints about them personally--but overall, I won't be returning or recommending this place. It took about 40 minutes after being seated for our wine to arrive, and when it finally did, one of my boyfriend's tasters was half empty (see photo 2). Maybe we came on a bad day or they were short-staffed, but my hopes and expectations for this place definitely weren't met. That said, the views from The Deck are absolutely breathtaking, and the charcuterie board was delicious!

This place has a fun fresh feel, a white building against the green rows of vines. Our visit was on a very warm day, so once you enter the AC feels amazing. The staff was very friendly right from the start, given us options of either the barrel room, main room with spectacular views or the patio overlooking the pool. (Pool only open seasonal for any visitors). We did a wine flight $32 a bit pricy but overall good experience. Had a very relaxing time there and enjoy the music.

This was my first time here, and went with a group of five others (one of whom is a member there). We were taken outside to the massive patio overlooking the vineyard. There were so many tables and comfortable couches; the perfect setting for a nice wine tasting. Bernadette was our hostess for the tasting, and she was wonderful! You can either buy wines by the glass, or you can custom- build your fight of four tastings. I chose the flight, and Bernadette was able to describe all of the wines on the menu so I could put together the perfect tasting for my palette. They offer items you can snack on with your wine. We got a charcuterie plate and hummus; both were perfect! Their specialty is Italian varietals, so if you want a comfortable place to sip on some, this is your place! NOTE: They also have a POOL onsite, which would make for a fantastic summer tasting excursion!

I love love love this winery! It's beautiful! I've been wanting to do wine blending here and it was perfect for my birthday! Lucky us! It was a private experience! It was just us two and our wine connoisseur! It was so much fun and best of all... You get to bottle your wine and take it home after you blend one you like. We also given a private tour of the winery and we got to sit in the members-only section. We are not members so this was a treat! The view in this section is just breathtaking! Our wine connoisseur gave me free bubbly for my birthday. Service here is phenomenal! We will definitely return and I highly recommend the wine blending. Their wine is delicious!!!

First time here and I would say this winery is very modern. I think it was very beautiful and clean. It gives really good vacation vibes and views. They have good indoor seating and outdoor seating and even a pool and cabana which is discounted for members. They have a really good sparkling rose that was bomb!! Was def my favorite The service was decent could have been more attentive but it was pretty busy. I feel they need more food options and play better music for good atmosphere. I would say try here if you're coming to Temecula!

Beautiful venue. We reserved seats for $40 each a week or two beforehand to save spaces. When we arrived, they had a walk in special that came up to $27! The walk in special included lounge chairs, two glasses of sangria and a wristband to access a private changing room. We were served by Quincy, such a cool guy, very nice and helpful. We ordered the chicken nachos which were tasty but the chips were thin, they weren't very crunchy. We also ordered a side of fries and a burger that came with fries. The burger was cool, I wish it had more pickles and a sauce maybe. The sangria was light and refreshing. We then ordered the bottaia pecorino white and the angry wife white. The pecorino had a lightly sweet after taste but was good. The angry wife white wine was light, not much flavor profile. The weather was perfect, the pool was fullll! Kids, families, friends etc. It is 5ft and it felt like we were at a backyard pool party.

I went with a couple of friends to celebrate my friend's bachelorette, and overall we had a great time. We spent most of the day by the pool, which was amazing -- especially since it was so hot. There's a bar right next to the pool and the vineyards, which made it super convenient and added to the experience. The season was actually wrapping up and everything closes on Sunday, so we caught it just in time. Prices were a little on the higher side, but the vibe made up for it was lively, fun, and perfect for a celebration. You can also get your own cabana, which adds a nice touch if you're going with a group. At the end we all dressed up and had a tasting there before we headed out.

Went to try the famous Temecula wineries and Bottaia was talked about a lot so I decided to take a visit with my partner and do their charcuterie & wine tasting package. Upon arriving, we waited about 5 minutes to be seated and were greeted by a great view of the winery, though it was the wrong season to see the grapes growing and stuff. Our waitress was super helpful and pleasant, describing each of the wines and their rich history as she was pouring us some to taste. The charcuterie board to was a stunning display of different fruits, vegetables, cheeses, nuts and crackers, some of which I was afraid to try but mustered up the courage to when the waitress described which foods paired with which wines. Each recommendation was spot on and to be completely honest, there was nothing on my plate that I didn't enjoy, my partner included. This nice experience ended with dessert and a dessert wine which both paired great with each other and made us question if we should get a bottle to bring home as a souvenir Overall a fantastic experience that I'm glad to call my first ever wine tasting and I'll definitely be recommending to my friends!

Loved this place; what a vibe. The moment you step into the lobby you feel like you are in a special place. The super high ceilings of a modern farmhouse, the stunning macro botanical art on the walls of the waiting area (I never knew I needed b&w close-ups of dandelions, but now I do), the large window across from you looking out to the vineyard. Modern chic and inviting. We had stopped by once just to check things out and learn about the seasonal pool hangout and admire the sunset, but only recently came to do a wine tasting and snacks. We sat on the outside patio closest to the vineyard on a beautiful January afternoon that approached chilly as the sun was setting and the winds picked up. Our friend is a member so we got to enjoy come complimentary tastings. Their wine varieties are unfamiliar to me but with a description of the type of red I was seeking the server nailed it. I enjoyed everything I tasted as I nice balanced daytime reds - great stuff here!! We got the small plate of olives and almonds that were tasty and definitely stayed a while. I would really like to rent some poolside time this year!

I was really disappointed, I had high expectations, but that seems to be always the problem. The waiter was not trained properly and everything seemed to go down hill from there. The waiter did not know about the wines and did not know what to recommend. I did not like how you had to order everything all at once either. It just felt rushed and we had a reservation. In addition, we ordered the charcuterie tray, which was appetizing that paired nicely with the Spumante. The wines here lacked depth overall after the sparkling, and even with age weren't going to get better unfortunately. I felt the ambiance was really basic, the environment lacked character, it was really bare bones and didn't know what it wanted to be besides a copycat winery of the one next door.

Entering the facility is like checking in to a hotel. Seating is quite comfortable inside and out. The charcuterie selection is nice to choose from.Wine is delicious, beautiful view of the vineyards, and wonderful service. Many more services are available upon request.

It's always a special treat to go to Bottaia! We love their light and airy patio as well as stylish and gorgeous lay out of the tasting rooms inside. It's alwyas a beautiful occasion in Bottaia. Also, love their tasting flights and it is a good deal with memebership. If you know what you like, then a glass or a bottle is better deal of course. One star down is for their food - the charcuterie board could use just a bit more of imagination/variety/volume on it, but we still come back none the less and enjoy our stay every time.

Saw this place on Tik Tok and decided to try it out. Luckily I live 5 minutes away so it was no hassle to get there. I had made an online reservation for two a few days prior and showed up at 11am and was helped quite quickly. The process was smooth and quick. The staff here is great, no complaints at all. I paid $50 for the private cabine which includes a shower, mirror, shampoo, body wash etc. it's a great feeling to rinse off after the pool & sun and change in a clean space. The $50 also includes two chairs and umbrella, towels, and two sangrias. Pretty good deal for an all day by the pool in beautiful wine country. We stayed from 11-3:30. Our server was Quincy and he was awesome!! He came by, took our order (we got the nachos) got us water, soda, and my beers. He was very attentive and on it at all times. Everyone working here is really great. There are two sets of bathrooms close by, a bar, little splash area, cabanas for rent and a lifeguard on duty. It was really relaxing, my daughter and I had a nice time. The only drawbacks are that kids are allowed, so there is some noise and splashing around activity. I'm a mom so I have nothing against kids it just doesn't fit the vibe for me. The food wasn't too bad in price but the nachos had barely any chicken and they were just meh. They do play music in the background which is nice too. It's a beautiful setting and I really enjoyed the laid back day with my daughter. I totally recommend if you are in the area and want a little pool day before wine tasting or sightseeing Temecula. Our city is the best!!!

We had a very disappointing experience at Bottaia Winery. Upon arrival, we were told there would be a 30-minute wait and instructed to wait in the tasting room. We ordered some tastings and waited patiently, but after an hour we went back to the front desk to check, and were told our table was ready. Why didn't anyone come to get us sooner? To make matters worse, we were shocked to learn that you cannot take the wine you purchase in the tasting room onto their outdoor deck, which is only steps away. This policy makes no sense and left us having to chug our glasses before being seated, which really ruined the experience. When we finally sat down, it took over 15 minutes for anyone to greet us. At that point, we decided to leave. The lack of communication, strange rules, and poor service made it clear this is not a place worth returning to. Save your money and time and visit another winery instead.

What a beautiful experience! Bottaia is always great, but Bernadettte gave such excellent service, I had to leave a review. She gave great recommendations and advice. Happy hour was an unexpected surprise, and the blondie brownie dessert tasted so amazing with the sweet late harvest vermentino that we brought home a bottle. Out of all the wineries we have tried in Temecula, I highly recommend the member experience here!

Exceptional Service That Will Keep Me Coming Back All Summer! From the moment we arrived at Bottaia, the experience was nothing short of amazing. The energy was vibrant and welcoming, setting the tone for what turned out to be a perfect afternoon. We were warmly greeted by Donovan, who was not only polite and professional but made us feel like valued guests right away. That first impression matters, and he nailed it. Once seated, Quincy came over immediately and took care of us with a level of attentiveness that's rare to find these days. He anticipated our needs, responded quickly to our requests, and did it all with a great attitude and a genuine smile. It's hard to overstate how much of a difference that kind of service makes it elevates the entire experience. In today's world, where good customer service can feel like a lost art, Donovan and Quincy stood out as true professionals. They are the kind of team members who turn first-time guests into loyal regulars. My girlfriends and I had an amazing time the food was delicious, the cocktails were on point, and relaxing by the pool was the cherry on top. Thanks to Donovan and Quincy, Bottaia is officially on my summer go-to list. Their excellent service is a key reason I'll continue coming back. It definitely feels more high-end than some of the more rustic wineries in the area. The atmosphere was great--relaxing but sophisticated, making it a good spot for a special occasion or just a nice day out. Service was professional and welcoming, though we had to book an appointment when we visited, which may still be required. Overall, it's a solid 4/5 experience. The vibes are great, the setting is gorgeous, and the wine was enjoyable. Just make sure to check ahead about reservations before heading over!

I absolutely loved my experience wine tasting here! It was such a wonderful vibe and honestly comparable to some of my Napa tasting experiences!! The service here was wonderful, the food pairings were delicious, and the wine was also great!! I absolutely love and adore this winery so much and will be coming back again!!

I had the pleasure of coming here for my birthday celebration, and it was one of my favorite parts of the day! The winery is absolutely stunning and the views are just simply unbeatable. Our server was super nice, and all the wines we tried were delicious. Definitely recommend the rose with bubbles! The only room for improvement is after paying on the tablet, I didn't get offered a receipt even though I came with a large group so you would think it'd be standard to get one. I asked for them to send a receipt to my email, and it somehow never went through so had to call them and get one after the fact. That is my only feedback, everything else was incredible!

Our first visit to the deck at Bottaia was last spring and we were eager to return. We were lucky enough to have Sean as our server a second time. He was very helpful, attentive, and friendly and informative about the wine club while remaining low-key about it. I joined, and I'm not a "joiner". This was a beautiful tasting experience, with sweeping, panoramic views of vineyards and rolling hills and the wines presented as a labeled flight in a cluster of separate small glasses. The charcuterie board was excellent, especially the marcona almonds, olives, and sage cheese, and complemented the flight. I wish I had taken a picture of the board! All of the wines we tasted were excellent and we bought four bottles of the Arneis for Thanksgiving dinner. We look forward to returning each time we visit or pass through Temecula.

3rd times a charm! I've never done a review 3 times in a row for the same establishment with the same service or better. I was here again 7/12 a pool day for us. We had great service and they finally had wings! Very flavorful, tender and hot. It was delicious I enjoyed my visit here. It was a quiet Saturday to be honest and we loved it! Thanks for bringing in the wings!

Advertise on Yelp that "dogs allowed". We were told that they were not when we arrived! Either allow them or correct your Yelp advertisement!

This place is beautiful. The ambience is amazing. Customer service is awesome. The food was really good. Me and my friends shared the three sandwiches. I totally recommend that.

There were a ton of seats available in the member area and they refused to sit us there even though we had intention to get many bottles. We have been wine needs here before in 2019, and the attitude has changed.

Today I had the pleasure of visiting the pool at Bottaia and let me just say, what an amazing experience. From the service to the food, everything was amazing and DEFINITELY fulfilled everything on this hot day ! Our server Emily was great!!! Very friendly and such an amazing server. You can tell right away by her bright smile that she knows how to make people feel accommodated and happy! Her personality just shined ! She suggested a blended dole whip margarita so ofcourse we got that and the shrimp tacos which were delicious and refreshing for this hot day! Definitely will be coming back with more family and friends and will highly recommend Emily as a server ! She did amazing !

Of all the vineyards I've been to in Temecula, I would say Bottaia has one of the best views. Also going to give them an extra star for the fact that they have a pool. We didn't try the pool, but did try the wine and cheese pairing/tasing. It's $72 per person. You can choose either an antipasta board or a charcuterie board. It comes with 5 wine tastings. I would say that the board actually comes with more than enough food for the pairing. We each also got 3 additionally complimentary tastings for a total of 8 tastings. So overall, I would say it was worth the price. The ambience here is much quieter than Wilson Creek and it's the perfect place for a relaxing afternoon.

Sister ship to Ponte Winery is BOTTAIA Winery. We had reservations for their wine tasting and it was quite the treat. $25 per person for 6 varieties with a bonus of a taste from the barrel which will be ready to bottle a couple years out. Our host Carrie was a HOOT!. She explained the wines, she explained the Winery, she explained the process, protocol and other functions they have at BOTTAIA . Clinically white all around in the lobby. The Barrel Room is cute; it is a barrel room. They have the Pool and the Lab to which I am excited to try on my next visit out to Temecula OK! I joined the wine club. Oddly, I am a red wine person but I selected their white wine variety in the club. Impressive to me because I am a red wine lover, I did enjoy their white varietals. You are entitled to 4 tastes per month for 2 people OR 8 tastes per month. I will be back

My wife and I had an incredible experience with the wine Tasting with Charcuterie. All the wines were excellent, the food was amazing, and the service was impeccable. Sean took care of us in the best way possible, very attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely committed to making our experience the best it could be.

Spent today poolside in a cabana for a friend's birthday. This was my second time at the Bottaia pool and it was even better than the first time. Our server HUNTER was outstanding! We never had to go looking for him, he checked on us at the perfect times. He kept the tasty drinks coming and the pitchers of water full. He had great suggestions. An absolute pleasure. We ordered, 2 pizzas, 2 orders of chicken nachos, Crudite trio, and 2 orders of calamari throughout the day. The food came out extremely fast and was delicious. The staff came around to see if we were comfy with the pool temp. When we said it was a little chilly they turned the heater in the pool on! Great music too. Stunning views, beautiful scenery, & immaculate accommodations. One of our friends loved it so much he bought a membership. I will definitely be back. By the way the if you are considering a cabin for changing and showering, I highly recommend it. It's definitely worth it and comes with mini upscale products.

We made reservations and I have to say I'm used to the Napa Valley area's Wineries, however, Bottaia was absolutely stunning and I think Temecula is worth the drive. The breathtaking view of the vineyard from our table made us immediately feel relaxed. The service was definitely on par for the style of the Winery. We were immediately taken to our table when we checked in and our server was friendly and knowledgeable. We shared a few flights of wines along with a couple of the appetizer plates. Everything was flavorful and displayed beautifully. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Southern California.

As regulars at several local wineries and long-time wine enthusiasts, my husband and I had heard quite a bit about this place through conversations with wine servers in our members' lounges. Curious, we decided to visit and see what all the buzz was about. Upon arrival, the interior gave off the feel of a clean, modern condo...something you'd typically find in a 3 to 4-star hotel in places like Bangkok, Samed, or Phuket. It didn't quite match the "fancy" reputation we'd been led to expect. We were greeted by two ladies at the front desk, and I asked if we could purchase a tasting. Our goal wasn't just to try the wine, but potentially to join as members if we enjoyed it. Surprisingly, we were asked if we had a reservation...on a weekday, no less...while the tasting room itself appeared empty. We were told that tastings were reserved for members only, which was confusing. How are potential customers supposed to decide if they want to join without first trying the wine? We were eventually seated outdoors on the far edge of the deck, in a windy and cold spot with no heater or service in sight. The experience felt isolating and unwelcoming. My husband is white, and I am Asian, and unfortunately, it did feel as though we were treated differently because we are a biracial couple. Whether intentional or not, the treatment we received made us feel out of place and unwelcome. Given the lack of hospitality, we chose not to order anything and decided to leave shortly after. Based on this experience, we won't be returning and I wouldn't recommend this place to others.

We made our way back to this, wonderfully modern, beautifully appointed winery and tasting rooms. We got lucky this time as they put us in the barrel room that they keep at a nice cool, 62° Mandatory temperature to keep the wines tasting delicious. We had the pleasure of being served by our wonderful wine steward , Alayna. She gave us the rundown of all of the delicious wines we were tasting and of course she gave us just a little bit more of the ones that we really adored. Very friendly service. They are dog friendly on their covered patio.

What a lovely wine tasting experience. Lived in the area for two years and never visited this beautiful winery- even though we have heard about "the pool." We were looking for live music on a Friday and found Bottatia! This wine tasting is a bit different so be prepared- everything is table service and reservations are highly recommended. They create experiences around their delicious wine. Checkin in with their friendly staff and grab your experience- we chose to share a barrel room tasting. Bernadette immediately welcomed us with her 'bubbly' personality and amazing knowledge. Since this was our first time she also gave us a tour of the property to show off their vision. The pool area and outside deck are beautiful. Wines were surprisingly delicious and both of us found wines we liked- the Vermentino 2022 and the late harvest 2017 were favorites. We had a fantastic time and would definitely go back another time to try their outdoor deck

Bottaia still remains one of my favorite wineries due to their selection of wines and the resort-like atmosphere and appeal of their property. Their Montepuciano is the best in the valley and deserves recognition. The tannins are perfect and the boldness of the wine pairs well with their spectacular charcuterie board. Highly recommended.

The montepulciano red wine was worth the trip! I enjoyed the caprese salad the most. I don't recommend the tiramisu though --too sweet and too small. Service was good and the grounds are gorgeous.

Love this place!! From the moment you walk in, you feel how special this place is. It transport you to a new modern, classy, relaxing world. My bf and I tried the wine tasting that came with the charcuterie. It came with 5 wine selections and samples of other ones too. We had Dennis as our server and he was amazing, friendly, personable, and even gave us great recommendations for dinner. The room was kept rather chilly on purpose so I came dressed for a warm summer day and was slightly cold, but the wine warmed us up. The view was spectacular and when the sun was setting it really made you feel like you were somewhere special. Everyone here was so friendly. I will definitely be back

It's been YEARS since I've been to the Temecula wineries, which is a long overdue trip. On our way to Palm Springs, we decided to squeeze in some wine tastings, and this was on the list. The first attempt was a no-go since we came when it was closing. So we tried again on our way down, and the customer service was impeccable! The staff remembered us on our first trip and immediately provided us with a table in the patio. First of all, I love the modern design of winery, which is not typical of wineries in the area. The design, coupled with the high ceilings, neutral colors, and the outdoor seating, gave the winery an airy feel. Our waiter was Dennis, and he was very informative with the variations of wine and made several recommendations for our wine flights. They only serve apps here since they don't have a license in the tasting area to provide hot food. I loved the delicate flavors of the white wine and robust and deep flavors of the reds. As we sampled the wines, we were treated to live music. Afterwards, Dennis gave us a tour of the property, from the barrel room, wine making room, and various other rooms that can be enjoyed as a wine member. I definitely enjoyed my visit and will be back soon!

First of all I have been a member for years. This is not a review of the wine but rather a review of the lack of customer service. I phoned Bottaia because I needed to know when I had to pick up my shipment before they shipped it to me. I left a very detailed message asking the question on Wednesday, today is Saturday and still no response. Why have the ability to leave a message if nobody is calling back. I doubt I will continue my membership beyond the upcoming shipment.There are so many wineries in the area, that offer great customer service along with good wine to feed my money to a place that doesn't care about me. Members are everything to wineries, guaranteed income with every shipment.

Beautiful setting and terrible wine. I do realize that wine tasting is very subjective but after trying 9, they all were acidic and undrinkable. The service was adequate. Beware of the expensive price tag.

It should be no surprise that I also absolutely love BOTTAIA Winery like Ponte! This is a sister winery to Ponte. They have some of the most delicious Italian blends in the Temecula Wine Country. This winery is chic and classic. It's absolutely gorgeous here. The d e t a i l s. Think of the most absolutely beautiful modern barn e v e r. For this winery, advance reservations are highly recommended for all experiences offered. Some of the experiences are explained below: Barrel Room Tasting: Enjoy 6 estate bottled wines + 1 straight from the barrel. Seated Charcuterie Paring + Tasting: 5 high estate wines paired with a charcuterie board of your choosing (Antipasto Platter, Charcuterie Board, or Mediterranean Vegetable Platter). Wine Blending Lab: Blend 4 barreled wines into 3 separate red blends. Best part, you get to bottle, cork, capsule, and take home your own blend! They have beautiful seating options: The Terrace, The Deck, and Members Only Lounge. There's also a seasonal pool and pool cafe. The pool is pretty and surrounded by the vineyards. In case you are still wondering how to say the name, it is pronounced BOH - TAH - YA, you're welcome!

I'm generally not a fan of the wines of Temecula but this place has several decent ones. The facility itself is quite nice with an upscale feel and has a cool barrel room and deck for sipping wine or doing a tasting. Reservations are recommended but I came on a cloudy weekday where there were few people and a walk-in could easily be seated. The Deck is a covered patio and has a lovely view of the vineyard, perfect for a relaxed wine tasting experience. I sat there and did a tasting flight, choosing five red wines from their selections. The pours were wonderfully generous and I appreciated that the flight was delivered with each glass labeled as to which wine it contained. The woman who brought the flight and checked in on me was very congenial and offered information on the various wines I chose. She also did a soft sell of their member program; members have areas of the facility that are separate from non-members where they can enjoy the wines including a swimming pool. I find the prices on the bottles to be inexplicably high but I still purchased a couple anyway (a barbera and a montepulciano). I would recommend this as a stop for anyone doing wine tasting in Temecula.

This review is solely for the pool experience. The pool is lovely, and I like that they have added cabanas. I've been coming here for 3 years now, and I've always enjoyed the drinks and food, but yesterday's experience left much to be desired. The food selection is very limited. When I first came mid pandemic (06/2021), they advised the menu was limited, as they were just opening back up and trying to figure it out. That was understandable. I went a couple of times last year, and they may had added a couple of new items. Back to my current visit, when we first got there, I only wanted to snack on some fries and felt I would order an entree later. I ordered fries, and to my surprise, I could get sweet potato, regular or a mix of French fries and sweet potato fries, so I opted for that latter. The waitress brought us fries that almost looked brown, they were luke warm and soggy. I don't know about you, but I enjoy my fries crispy. My man said they seemed like they were cooked in an air fryer, but even the air fryer will produce crispier fries. We sent them back and they were taken off the bill. We ordered a sangria carafe ($56 I believe) and it tasted bitter, watered down and disgusting. We drank it, because we didn't want to send back another item, but it was awful. Maybe without the ice dilution, it would taste better or maybe not, but I would never order the sangria again. Needless to say, the sangria and the fries were underwhelming, so we didn't want to order anything else, and decided we'd go eat afterwards. Outside of the food/drink mishap, the pool ambiance is amazing.

Enjoyed the wine and the views at Bottaia. Definitely get a reservation, we had to wait awhile to get a table. But glad we waited. The wine was great! It is in our top 3 in Temecula for sure! Every wine we tried was easy to drink, went down smooth, and didn't have the syrupy finish that some other wineries have. We will be back!

We stopped in for our member tasting and trio, and opted for the charcuterie board..which we highly recommend! Plenty of meats, cheeses, and balance of sweet, savory, salty, crispy...for everyone! Bernadette is the best, and the wines aren't bad either... we will be back!
