"If you’re in a bind for dinner, drop by this Italian market. The locally-made frozen pizzas and pastas here are infinitely better than the DiGorno that’s been hibernating in the back of your freezer for the last six months. The tiny market is stuffed full of canned sardines, bottles of olive oil, dry pasta, and giant blocks of cheese—all either imported directly from Italy or made in Miami. The reach-in coolers in the back are where you’ll find a rainbow assortment of ravioli ranging from pink fig ravioli to purple ones stuffed with grouper. We come here about once a month when we’re going to cook Italian. The service and product selection is excellent! 10/10 recommend coming here.

Google
Bottega la Dolce Vita, is a fantastic find! The selection of imported Italian goods, from fresh pasta to quality olive oils, is impressive. Their deli offers delicious prepared foods—especially the lasagna fresh mozzarella, prosciutto and many more. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable, making every visit enjoyable. My teenage son and I were just leaving Yolanda’s Magic Tailoring Alterations Shop when we saw Bottega La Dolce Vita next door. It is a tiny place chock full of delicacies from Italy. We bought their beef ravioli and fresh tomato sauce, a raspberry fruitcake, jarred Rio Mare tuna and Colacchio Taralucci al Peperoncino (ring-shaped crispy and spicy biscuits. Mariangela or “Mari” for short, behind the cash register and counter, was cheerful, kind, friendly and helpful and she was proud of all the Italian products that bodega had to offer.

Google
This is the better place in Miami for Italian food and products! The staff is impeccable. I can’t believe that someone was unsatisfied about the employees. I bought here since 2016 and never I had a problem with them. The products are fresh and perfect. If you come in please consider to buy the limoncello because is very amazing ! Never I drinks a good limoncello in miami before to buy this! They are the best in Miami for Italy and Spanish food!

Google
This gem of a gourmet market has a diverse selection of high-quality Italian products, including freshly made pastas, sauces, and lasagnas. Franco and Joao are knowledgeable and helpful, and are always seeking to improve the quality and variety of their offerings. Excellent source for seasonal items (such as Pannetone at Christmas).

Google
This place is amazing, they have the best and freshest Italian and European products. Every time I go I always find what I was looking for. A little piece of Italy without the jet lag. The owners are so nice and knowledgeable. Very good customer service.

Yelp
Awful customer service. Clerk lacked of patience, to the point that one tried to avoid asking question regarding products. Could be a great small place to shop due to its variety of choices, but staff needs to change their attitude.

Yelp
I've visted Bottega La Dolce Vita twice in the last week and I am hooked! It's a super charming, tiny little Italian market on LeJune that offers specialty pastas, charcuterie, wines, and of course - Italian pantry staples. When I shopped for the first time, I went to find a specialty pasta to make spaghetti pomodoro at home. I purchased a spaghetti so good, I went back two days later so I could make it again! My haul also included a pinot grigio - which was delicious and reasonably priced at $12. They offer cut to order cheeses, and a ton of charcuterie. Some of the prices are on the higher end, but of course it is a specialty market with imported Italian items. So when it comes to a nice home-cooked meal or antipasti plate - treat your damn self! It seems this is a place regulars love. as both times I visited the manager greeted a folks by name. Parking is not super ample - but there aren't very many places in the strip mall so you should be able to find a spot!

Yelp
I love shopping authentic Italian treats here! Not only are their products delicious but the guys are awesome always have a great smile (underneath the masks). They always have different specials, fresh pasta, prosciutto, cheeses, biscotti, wine....you name it they have it. Oh and the focaccia is to die for! Must try!!

John M.

Yelp
Wonderful place.. even better people! Franco was incredibly helpful and extremely informative in my search for a ridiculously sharp cheese for my cappilitti. He NAILED it! We also picked up some of the best salami I've had outside of Italy and the North End of Boston, some eggplant parm and canolis. I cannot say enough about how friendly and helpful everybody was. We will be repeat customers.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. It's full of imported, authentic goods. Definitely more expensive than the supermarket but you won't find these products in chain stores. Perfect if you want to cook a homemade Italian dinner with real, high quality ingredientes. The cheeses, pastas, oils, and meats are top of the line Italian (and some Spanish) goods. Don't pass up the opportunity to drop by!

Yelp
Entering Bottega La Dolce Vita makes me homesick. It always triggers that "hometown" feeling of being back in Italy doing some daily grocery shopping. This purveyor is packed with the very best from Italy: olive oil, aceto balsamico di Modena, wines, pasta, cheeses and typical Italian biscotti just to mention a few. The higuest quality stuff in just one place. Indeed, just one stop with the best customer service that you can ask. Don't miss this Italian Market.

Barbara B.

Yelp
The spot is selling meals. I picked mine up went home and heat it up. It tasted sour so I called the owner. They wouldn't replace the meal Or refund. Bad customer service. Will never see me again and my family.

Vivian G.

Yelp
What a great little gem in the Gables! I learned about this place from someone that was raving about the lasagna so I decided to go and buy some prepared food. So far, I've bought the meat lasagna, cheese cannelloni, sausage cannelloni and eggplant parmigiana. (I've kept going back so that should tell you something.)They have all been amazing! I usually buy a bag of Italian cookies or a bag of biscottis to finish off a great meal. I don't have a lot of time to cook so having a delicious meal you can just pop in the oven is great. This is definitely a 5 star Bottega!

Monica B.

Yelp
Best european market in Miami!!! They offer a variety of quality products including: pasta, cheeses, desserts, and ready-to-eat food. The owners are always helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Kathi M.

Yelp
Once again the owner was rude to us. I was there to buy cookies (Mulino Bianca), I love them but unless I go to an Italian store I don't find them. So we walked in store and was greeted by a very nice woman. She ask if she could help us and then offered us a piece of Panettone. My friend said it is somewhat dry. The owner went off on us like we committed a sin. Saying in a loud angry voice--of course it is dry it has been sitting out for 8 days what do you expect. Do you think it would be moist after that. Then knowing my friend was Brazilian he says-- dry is a Brazilian panettone. This is not the first time the owner has been rude but it will be the last time he is rude to us.

Carol L.

Yelp
This is my go-to place for all things Italian. Bottega has, without a doubt the best selection of fresh Italian charcuterie and cheeses that are hand-cut to order, as much or as little as you need- sample beforehand, if you wish- just like in the Old Country. I find the products I need to cook authentic Italian meals as well as delicious prepared foods for when I don't have time or don't want to cook. The shelves are stocked with premium, often hard to find items, seasonal specialties and regional wines from all over Italy. I am always greeted with a smile and leave with more than I came for, because the stock is irresistable.

Danielle O.

Yelp
Bought a take home lasagna among many other things. OMG it's the best lasagna I have ever had. I 100% recommend going here at least just for this dish. I have a feeling I will be returning almost every week for this. Yummmmmm!

Myriam B.

Yelp
I usually sponsor small local businesses but the owners are so rude and unprofessional that I've decided to stop buying at the store. 2 of my friends experienced the rants of the owners as well in the past and have never returned there. The owners are poorly educated and never seem to learn from their mistakes as a lot of the reviews online mention their poor manners and lack of human decency. Take your business to other more deserving and appreciative places.

Yelp
This is our new go-to spot when preparing an Italian meal or having a small gathering. Combine the very knowledgeable, friendly owners with great quality, genuine products from Italy, and you have a recipe for success! They always make you feel at home and are eager to help you get your meal just right. Amazing prosciutto, great wines, pastas, balsamic and prepared food. A+++

Marizay P.

Yelp
Great gourmet foods from Italy and Spain ... good wines too! Very fresh and top quality .

Yelp
Great place great food but google should say it closed on sundays, I drove 45 min to find out it's closed

Yelp
Such a small store, yet so many options. I walked in to see if they had chocolate covered pretzels (they don't) but they did have so many other things. The woman in the store was very nice and helpful. Normally I get annoyed when someone follows me around but she wasn't pushy so I let it go. I ended up walking out with nutella (hey, can't complain) and some ready to bake truffle gnocchi, complete with sauce. I'm not a huge fan of truffles. To me they taste a little weird, but after baking and eating it I was very pleased with my choice. Now this place is a little pricey. I spent $30 for nuptial and ready-to-bake gnocchi. They have such a great selection of cheeses and other stuff that I will be back. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5? Because they didn't list their prices on a lot of stuff. I don't mind spending money, but I dislike surprises.

Yelp
Words cannot describe how much I love this place. Bottega La Dolce Vita is a hidden jewel in the Coral Gables area when it comes to Italian food and delicacies. In regards to the products offered, this little store has a wide variety of Italian sweets, cheeses, cured meats, and ready-to-go food that will literally make your loved ones and friends fall in love with it. Every time I visit the store I also feel adventurous to explore which new products and brands they have; if you are a regular client, the owners will keep asking you for feedback on their products and change/introduce new ones accordingly. My love for Spanish cheese, 'jamón ibérico´and for other European products was my only problem with this place because they were mainly focusing on Italian products. However, they recently introduced new products from Spain, and if I am not wrong, and other European countries. Most importantly, when you go to Bottega you are going to see that the owners are very knowledgeable on the products they carry (you'll even learn about some history and manufacturing process of the products), and the special treatment given to each customer. I can't stand when I go to buy prosciutto in a different place, and when I get home I realize that it's been sliced like in very thick pieces of the meat. In bottega, I just let them know how I like it to be sliced and I won't have to worry about it (thinly sliced is delicious, and the San Daniele one will melt in your mouth). One last point. If you are looking to make a gift for a special occasion or just need something to bring to a friend's dinner, ask for their personalized baskets. I assure you that you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Wanted to thank you so much for your support at our school event! You were so kind to offer a huge platter of amazing homemade tortellini. Our Italian families are excited to have your store so close to school! Thank you again!

Ana G.

Yelp
Great quality, the beef lasagna is one of the best I have ever had. Thumbs up!! All the products they sell are delicious and you can always trust to get the best of every purchase.

Yelp
The worst customer service ever! Today, 1/16/2020, my husband and I bought a mushroom lasagna at this store. When we got home and were going to eat it, we realized that it was acidic and in poor condition. We called to the store to ask when the lasagna was made and we were told the lasagna had been made last Monday. Today is Thursday, so the lasagna was made four days ago!! We told the woman that answer the call, that we would go there for them to prove themselves. After 3 minutes a man who work at the store, I don know if he is the owner, but he is always there, called us very aggressive and shouted that he never wanted us in his shop again! . OMG! This man has no education. This man is very arrogant and rude! This store is expensive and we have always gone there shopping. Today that product was in poor condition and this man instead of recognizing it, treated us very aggressively! My husband lived 20 years in Italy and knows perfectly when a lasagna is in good condition or not. I have never been treated with such bad manners as this man has. This man is disrespectful and a very arrogant person. Of course I won't go to your store NEVER AGAIN!. Nor will all the Italian friends I have recommended to go! This man do not know how to run a company. He don't know anything about business strategy and customer service. Arrogance does not make a person competent, it makes he or she mediocre.

Fanny G.

Yelp
Never have I ever been disrespected by a man in my life as I just experienced by the two business owners of this store! As a business owner myself and raised with etiquette, I was appalled of how two men would even consider disrespecting, not only a woman but a loyal customer over such a petty act. I walked into the store, like I do every weekend when I take my daughter to a dance class, and I asked one of the owners if I could use his garbage can to throw away a coke bottle. The owner said yes and I walked out. Approximately 2 minutes later, the other owner came out and yelled, disrespected and insulted me in front of the other mothers of how dare I use his garbage can and walked back into his store! I, confused, went to his store to talk to him. The owner ranted on how dare I walk into his store to use his garbage can, mind you I asked if I could and the other owner said yes. He started ranting of how everyone in Miami has no education and how he is tired of all the mothers using his bathroom!!! What does that have to do with myself asking if I may use his garbage can to throw away a bottle. You want to talk about education? How about class and manners? A man who is yelling and disrespecting a mother ( and customer) in front of other mothers and children! What kind of man is that? Not only will I NEVER buy from that store again, but I hope these two men take a lesson from Emily Post's book on etiquette and manners. Also, as a business owner, I'll give you a free tip: never disrespect customers in front of other customers because that is not fruitful for your business! Good luck because I will make sure that all of my friends will never buy from your store!

Carlos A P.

Yelp
This is a very simple review to write. I have been a customer of Bottega for about 5 years now. Every single item that I purchased from Bottega La Dolce Vita has been delicious. There is nothing on this store that it is so-so. The food they make is fresh and very tasty. You can delight yourself and impress friends with pasta sauces, gnocchis or lasagnas (to name a few things) ready to go. Joan and Franco, the owners, are great people. They are always in such a good mood to help you figure out what new things to try out. They are very knowledgeable of the products they have in their store. If you go once, you will get hooked because the selection of delicious food items is rich. If you like and value european delicacies, this is the place to go to.

Yelp
My life changed in Miami since I discovered this gem. I love cooking and even if you don't celebrate or have Italian traditions like panettone for Christmas or Colomba and Chocolate eggs for Easter, this place is a hit! Whenever I plan a dinner in my house I stop by to get Burrata, Italian or Spanish cheeses, pasta al uovo and one or two indulgences that I can't avoid. I love these guys and also I have to admit their ready to eat lasagna and eggplant parmigiana are one of the best in town!!!

cristina o.

Yelp
I am officially obsessed with their pistachio pesto. This store is a much needed little gem. A small, but delectable, assortment of Italian goods with very personal customer service. I hope this store thrives because their fresh baked bread and sauces are exceptional and will get anyone out of a pickle faced with a last minute dinner party.

Helvio S.

Yelp
It is the place where you find a good selection of products of a very good quality. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to help. Bottega La Dolce Vita is an excellent choice to please your guests.

Vivi A.

Yelp
Incredible place to find authentic and quality Italian products. The owners are always so helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend Bottega La Dolce Vita!

Vanessa P.

Yelp
Love this neighborhood gem. Such nice guys and a beautifully curated selection of foods in a tiny spot. They are eager to help and very knowledgeable. Always happy to give samples and explain origin of items. unique!

Catherine C.

Yelp
Disgusting place and disgusting service. Never seen a less sanitary deli space and the owner is rude to his own customers. My husband is from Florence and he even hates this place.

Neify B.

Yelp
The owners of this business are super rude to their own clients. I just witnessed an episode of an explosion of one of them that was totally uncalled for. I will not buy in this location EVER again!!!! They commented that they dont like miamians because according to them they dont have education... Then why do they have their business in miami?? That is not proper behavior with anyone... Less as a business owner!!!!!

Alexandra A.

Yelp
If you're looking for authentic italian specialty foods, this is your place! They carry everything from pastas to pastries, and every single item is imported from Italy! The owners are friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the products they sell. I highly recommend coming here for a special treat (they have a large selection of italian cheeses) or for the perfect ingredients to make a delicious italian meal for a loved one! They also have frozen lasagnas and pasta sauces that are homemade by the owners of this little shop. I used the four cheese sauce in a pasta dish and it was delicious! Next time you are throwing a dinner party, go visit La Bottega Dolce Vita! You are sure to find something delicious to please everyone's taste.

Lena S.

Yelp
The food and items in store are good but the business continues to have a major problem with their marketing. I have tried repeatedly for over a year to remove myself from their email list. I've sent messages, blocked, labeled as spam and still messages come in constantly. It's easy to delete but I find this business practice incredibly distasteful, pushy and rude. Whoever is doing your emails needs to be more ethical.

Gigi D.

Yelp
Been there before with good service, but after coming back honestly this is not a good recommendation for Italian market. Being said that, products are overpriced and the gentleman in the cashier machine very disrespectful with his customers. Think twice before going there to get any Italian food.

Lisa P.

Yelp
I placed a $40 on-line order, received an e-mail confirmation but never any merchandise. I contacted the vendor by e-mail, and they explained that they were out of what I ordered and asked if I'd like to substitute something else or receive a credit. I replied that I wanted a credit. The credit was never processed. I e-mailed them again several weeks later and have still not received a reply or credit. I had to contact my credit card company to remove the charge from my bill.
