I ordered a plain chocolate chip cookie. I got a chocolate chip cookie with walnuts. I’m very allergic to all nuts, including walnuts. Or it’s a pecan, idk I can’t tell because I DO NOT AND CANNOT EAT NUTS. Thankfully I’m not deathly allergic, and stopped myself after one bite, but to Bottino food management or whoever the lead baker is: Don’t put a chocolate chip cookie on the menu and include nuts without mentioning it on the menu. How about we even put all nuts on the side of dishes that include nuts. Can we make nuts optional? Anyone with food allergies can understand that we absolutely do our best to be vigilant and careful about eating out, so as to not be a burden and complain- but to order something that should objectively not have nuts, to then be surprised with nuts, is monumentally aggravating, to put it nicely. I paid $3 for a thing that is safe to eat, to discover- after it’s already in my mouth- that it is not safe for me to eat. The rest of your food and breads are great, but PLEASE do better.
