Bottle & Bull - Review - Kirkland - Seattle - The Infatuation

"If you’re not exactly sure what you want for dinner but you want to eat it with your fork in one hand and a classy cocktail in the other, Bottle and Bull is calling your name. It’s a fancy gastropub that’s great for a solo dinner at the bar, group hang with colleagues, or even an anniversary or Valentine’s Day date. The items on the menu rotate seasonally and range from small plates to a serious Cuban sandwich to fresh pasta to a nice piece of seared fish. And if your Friday night happy hour going drink-for-drink with your friends, they also have a solid late-night snack menu. RESERVE A TABLE WITH RESERVE A TABLE" - Aimee Rizzo

Bottle and Bull has a great atmosphere -warm, inviting, and perfect for a night out. The staff are attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. The food was delicious, especially the olives and garlic fries, which paired perfectly with a glass of red wine. Highly recommend!

Google
I started with the Smoked Beet Salad, which was a perfect balance of savory and sweetness. Then I had the Sockeye Salmon which was so tender and full of flavor. I finished with the Olive Oil Cake, which melts in your mouth. This place is easily going to become a favorite stop of mine.

Google
The oysters on the half shell drew me in to Bottle and Bull, and they did not disappoint. While we were there we tried a variety of appetizers, each as delicious. The drinks were flowing and the prosecco kept crisp and cold. The street view from outside was nice with a view of the lake. Enjoyed every bit of this dining experience.

Great experience! Group of 4, we got three apps, mains, and the bourbon cream pot for dessert. Everything was delicious and our service was perfect. It was a bit too dark in terms of lighting, but other than we really enjoyed our dinner.

Nice little bar to vibe at. Good cocktails, good vibes, moderate energy. Not high energy if you’re looking for rowdy, not super quiet if you’re looking for very little noise, but very pleasant all the same.

Google
B&B is one of our favorite local restaurant and bar. Very casual, fun vibe, super friendly staff, and an impressively stocked bar. They offer a nice variety of fun and inventive cocktails. They have a scratch kitchen that makes everything from small plates to salad to full entrees. We often stopped in for late dinner and their lamb sliders are so good. Today we tried their steak frites. Fries were so good, and steak is perfectly cooked, super tender, and flavorful topped with a chimichurri. Located in downtown Kirkland, steps from waterfront and beaches, their food is great and surprisingly reasonably priced. If you haven't been here, put it on your list to try!

Google
We went for Seattle Restaurant Week and had a great time. The food was splendid, and portions larger than we expected. The cocktails are nicely made and the service attentive. The only downside side was it’s mostly tall table seating, so not great if you have limited mobility. The music was lively, so not really a spot for a quiet meal, but the atmosphere was good! We will definitely be back!

Google
The place is amazing! Went here for date night and had a great time. Servers are wonderful and helped with customizing the drinks. Food is unique and tastes yum. We tried the veggie pasta, moroccan chicken and pineapple cake who h was delicious. Couple of downsides - Food came out pretty slow and the bread didn't feel very fresh. Otherwise amazing experience!!

Yelp
Had lots of beers (draft beer as well) They serve beer in euther 16 or large 32 oz glasses. Got their Mediterranean platter which was great. Since this item took a long time to serve, the server did not charge for this item at all Their IPA was okay. Nice place to hangout. Great atmosphere.

Yelp
Kinda sexy little candlelit joint in the quaint part of Kirkland. It's got great high back wooden booths for privacy and great for groups of 4. This is a double date kinda place! I had an absolutely WONDERFUL experience. Our waitress was unassuming, a little shy at first, but unobtrusive and her recommendations were the bomb! The bartender knows how to make a perfect martini --- dirty & dry with fancy blue cheese olives if you ask! Fantastic service with the perfect amount of attention. We were loud -- but only a few people there between 4pm and 5. By 6pm the place was filled! It was a Thursday night. THE FOOD was exceptional. Oysters were magical. So fresh, and cold and delicious, you didn't even want to dip them in the vinaigrette! Pro tip... go for happy hour and order a small lamb burger off the HH menu! It was delish! I will be back.... I loved this place.

Yelp
Excellent. Presentation was well done. Food tasted great. Staff was really nice. Everytime you got a drink they said, "cheers!" Only complaint was the food wasn't all hot. The Brussel sprouts app was lukewarm to warm. Off all dishes that could have been hotter. The mussels were warm along with broth. The fries were the hottest food. While everything was warm, I like mine to start hot and cool to warm on the table. I didn't have to blow on anything to cool it down. The flavors were great. I get why the mushroom pasta is popular. The porcini were very "meaty" and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The bread that was served with the mussels was perfect. Dipped that in the cream broth, which had lentils. First time seeing that on a broth. The steak was cooked perfectly. I wasn't fond of the sauce on the steak. Perfectly cooked fries. Food was seasoned well. The table didn't have salt and pepper. Not sure if purposefully done but it wasn't needed. Great experience!

Yelp
Loving the new menu!! Compliments to the chef. The food was so good. We were a party of 4 on a Thursday night and the place was packed. Definitely consider making reservations online ahead of time so you won't be disappointed. We ordered two salads (apple and fig minus the gorgonzola and the beet salad), the fig and cream appetizer (not sure what it was called on the menu), and Parmesan truffle fries to share. Our favorite dishes were the beet salad (such a creative plate) and the fig appetizer. Good vibes, good service! Check this place out if you haven't already!

Yelp
God dam if you ever wanted to find a speakeasy without all the extra bullshit that comes with finding one come to bottle & bull. Place has a 90s jazz vibes where I'm not surprised if someone were to bust out a cigar. It's giving great gatsby energy. Stands outs are def the appetizers and the drinks. Def get the Brussel sprouts, mussels, and the green Isaac special. If you order this with your date don't be surprised if they ask you to come over after dinner. The entrees were all right but the desserts were more memorable than my first kiss. Date night approved says the gf but def a bit of a spender.

Yelp
Yummy food, great happy hour menu, not too pricey. Lamb sliders were delicious. Super cozy atmosphere.

Yelp
Came here for some drinks and small plates after walking around the Kirkland area! For small plates, we got the steak tartare and cheese plate. The steak tartare is packed full of flavor and has a nice flare to it. I enjoyed the figs and jam that came with the cheese plate. I liked having a stone instead of crackers served with it. The drinks were solid but a bit expensive and not too strong. Would come back here to try more of their dishes!

Yelp
I've been here now about three times, and I must say that this past experience left me motivated to write a review. Bottle and bowl is a cozy, warm atmosphere with a good menu, even better, staff, and pretty decent drinks. I think Kirkland is a great spot for a place like this, as they stay open late, and are a tasteful and classy vibe. I have to highly recommend the octopus on the menu, as well as the beach salad! Both 4.5 stars! I would say the drinks are dependent on who is making the drinks, I know we had a super personable bar manager named Cody, and that was really nice to interact with him and also learn a little bit about his flare on drinks. I would say that not everything on the menu is exceptional, but everything is at least tasty/good. Every every single time I have come here, it's been later in the night, and finding parking is never an issue. But be advised, if you were to go during the day, it might be a little bit busy.

Yelp
My sister and brother in law live walking distance and have always talked about how much they love this place. We made a reservation for a Saturday at 7:30 and were seated in a booth. The restaurant was completely full so I assume having a reservation is highly recommended. The restaurant is dimly lit with a great menu and an ever better cocktail and spirit list. We started with cocktails - the hibiscus sour, enjoy the vieux, boise in the hood, and another gin cocktail. They all felt like the bartender had taken a great amount of time putting them together. We opted to share appetizers - the smoked beat salad, the kale caesar, and the octopus. The servings were a great portion size to share amongst 4 people. We followed that with the crab and shrimp risotto, the burger, and the vegetable campanelle. My sister in law is dairy free and they were easily able to make her pasta vegan. Again, amazing portion sizes. I can absolutely see why they love going there and I'm looking forward to going back the next time I'm in Kirkland.

Yelp
Bottle & Bull is located in downtown Kirkland area near the waterfront. We made a reservation for 6:30pm on a Monday night and were seated right away for a party of five. I ordered the burger ($22) which was decent although I thought the burger patty could've used a little more seasoning. For drinks I ordered the boise in the hood ($17) and the broke in bimini ($17). Both were good although I liked the former more; it was spirit-forward with a hint of sweetness. I also tried a sip of the bourbon au poivre which was similar but not as sweet. The ambiance was good and the bar area has a really cool design. This place is good for a date night in a dimly-lit environment.

Yelp
A warm and cozy vibe in this restaurant. Our server was attentive. We both ordered bourbon cocktails, which were excellent and well-balanced. I mostly eat fish and vegetarian. There were a couple of vegetarian options, but both were pasta, which didn't appeal to me. I had looked at the menu on Open Table before we went and was excited about the halibut but it wasn't on the menu. I ordered the prawn and crab risotto, which was good, but not great. My husband ordered the steak frites, which he reported were divine. The French fries were fantastic!

Yelp
Solid place for a date or special occasion! The vibe is moody, dark, and intimate. The drinks are really tasty and I enjoyed my mushroom pasta (probably the most out of the table's food). The food is expensive, so I wouldn't come here all the time, but I would definitely stop in for a cocktail if I'm around the area (which I think is more their speciality over the food). My favorite cocktail was the Robert Jordan (fruity gin drink without being too sweet). Staff were all attentive - great experience all around! Parking is wherever you can find/pay

Yelp
3.5 Stars The staff mentioned the menu was inspired by Ernest Hemmingway (?) - consists of entrees and small plates / bites and a lengthy cocktail mix. Beautiful, sophisticated, sleek interior. We ordered a bunch of cocktails and the following dishes which were hit and miss: Speck-wrapped Dates ($2.75 each) - These were really tiny and disappointing Half Dozen Oysters ($22) - Good Moroccan Mussels ($26) - also nice, strong on the saffron Mushroom Pasta ($25, +$13 with Chicken) - Rich, delicious, salty. Chicken was perfectly cooked Steak Tartare ($22) - Solid Everything was beautiful plates and the staff was polite and kind.

Yelp
This place is located DT Kirkland. We had reservations and were asked to wait at the bar as our table was not ready. Which was fine. This place is small and feels like everyone is cramped in. We got to our table which still needed a good clean. Our server took care of it right away. Food menu is decent, but not many options to choose from. Got the mushroom pasta which was good but wasn't wow. We took our bottle of wines with a corking fee of $25. Sliders are good and the cheese plate did not disappoint. Great Service was the only thing that stood out at this restaurant.

Yelp
This place is a great restaurant for fine dine with amazing food and cocktails. The ambiance is upscale bar vibe with nice and respectful service. The costing of the food and drinks is also at par with upscale bars and restaurant. Their cocktails are probably one of the best ones I have had in town. The serving size is quite generous. The steak was above average, definitely not the best in town but good enough to eat with great drink and good company. Overall, I would definitely come back to this place for the ambiance and abundance of cocktail options.

Yelp
My husband and I had a great Sunday dinner at Bottle & Bull! We decided on it on very short notice, but we were able to reserve a table for 2 just a couple hours before. Inside the restaurant is dark and cozy. They have plenty of room for big groups and smaller tables for two. The staff were very friendly and attentive throughout our time there. To start two of the bacon wrapped dates, the Brussels sprouts with bacon foam, and corn chowder. The dates were pretty underwhelming and small based on the cost ($2.75 a piece). However the corn chowder and sprouts were amazing! The corn chowder was creamy and warmed us right up. And the sprouts were charred to perfection while the foam was a cool new experience. Definitely elevated the dish! For our mains I ordered the crab and wild prawn risotto, while my husband got the steak frites. My risotto was perfect and the seafood was a nice balance. The steak was cooked medium as requested, but the peppercorn sauce on top was a little too much. The steak should be allowed to shine on its own. Maybe they should consider including the sauce on the side? Total with a couple of drinks and tip was $140. Overall it was a great experience and we can wait to visit again!

Yelp
I have been to Bottle & Bull no less than 25 times - not sure how I haven't reviewed yet! If you love real cocktails, we'll balanced and crafted by experts, come here. They have nice variety of spirit forward whiskey drinks, as well as lighter and fruitier for those so inclined. The food menu isn't long, but everything is fantastic. My faves: Frites, Brussels Sprouts, lamb meatballs, Lamb Ragu, Steak Frites!
google avatar

Bessie C.

Yelp
You enter through the front entrance which is covered with large curtains. It was a warm day so the large windows were opened. Greet cocktail selections. We shared a few of the appetizers/entrees. Favorite appetizer was the lamb meatballs and entree was the mushroom pasta. The branzino was actually a filet so you didn't have to worry about the bones. Only item we were a bit disappointed with was the chicken as it was very dry.
google avatar

Yelp
Always on top with the service. The food and drinks are exceptional. My favorite cocktail is espresso martini. Must have to try!

Yelp
I rarely give any spot five stars but I have so much affection for this place! I especially love it on off-peak nights M-F when it's cozy and not very loud (say hi if you see me!). The food, a mix of cocktail bar tapas and elevated craft kitchen americana, is top notch! I've literally never had a bad meal there! Finally the staff is really charming (even when things get busy and they're pulled in every direction) and are absolute artists of mixology! Even the mocktails are elegant! Definitely my favorite bar on the waterfront!
google avatar

Yelp
We were looking for a nice casual yet sophisticated spot in Kirkland and stumbled upon the Bottle and Bull. First time in so we sat at the bar where Cody set us up right. Watching this bartender craft a few amazing cocktails and I was all in. I tried their Bourbon au Poivre and it was fantastic. Not over powering and boozy, just right. We shared the Cuban and it was a perfect HH. We'll definitely be back, cheers for now.

Yelp
Came here the other night for dinner before going on the Christmas ships. We were seated right away (had a reservation), and some guy came and asked for our drinks and said our waiter would be right with us. We never had a wait the whole night LOL he ended up taking our order after we sat waiting for a waiter for quite awhile. We noticed the portions were very small for the price. While the Brussel sprouts were absolutely delicious, you literally only get 5 for $14. That's like almost $3 a Brussel sprout. I got the browser pork cheeks and while it was cooked perfectly, it had 0 flavor! Cooked to perfection, falls off the bone but tasted like nothing. It was disappointing. $185 layer after tax & tip i feel like we wasted money going here.

Yelp
Came for restaurant week. The best salad was huge, enough for an entire meal and amazingly delicious. The short rib was also one of the best dishes I've had. Dessert was just ok. The menu was interesting and I would love to go back to try more things. Service was good during a busy time. Kinda loud and rustic. I would go back just for the salad.

Yelp
I had the worst experience at this restaurant last night. We were group of ladies in mid 30s went there to celebrate a special occasion and the manager Cody Moberg ruined our evening with his hostile attitude and use of curse words for no apparent reason. Not only was he completely unprofessional, but was also rude and dismissive when we just asked him politely the ETA after waiting for a table for about 30 minutes even though we had proper reservation. He practically rolled his eyes and told us that "this is how it is here. If you want to leave, just leave and never come back." And just when we reminded that he cannot talk to customer like this, he erupted like a volcano and said "I will no longer serve you, get the f*ck out of here". No apology, no offer to fix the problem--just pure arrogance. Even other staffs were shocked due to his behavior and tried to correct him but he just walked us out of door saying curse words. I don't know if he was racist or sexist but we felt really disrespected and still in shock. I never had any such experience in my life and never seen any individual working in a customer service industry being so unwelcoming. This place needs serious improvement, starting with finding a manager who actually cares about customer service. I won't be back, and I certainly wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you don't want your evening to be ruined, please run away as fast as you can from this place.

Yelp
Great ambience, service food, fun. We had a group of 3 and everyone loved their dinner choices. All said they would order the dishes again. 5 stars for Bottle & Bull!

Yelp
Ok I was definitely not expecting the food here to be as great as it was! Really hadn't ever come in here expecting it to be more of your typical bar, but as a foodie first, you will get a no compromise dining experience here! Hubby and I decided just to order a number of plates from the menu and just split everything tasting menu style, and that was the way to go! We got to try so many things, all of them winners but my favorite was the gnocchi which had an atypical texture that really made it stand out! Highly recommend taking this tasting menu approach! We went make two weeks later with two other people and did the same thing and woop woop, even more dishes to try. Food is great, enjoyed the cocktails but it is a busier setting as it's a popular place!

Yelp
Stopped by for a weeknight dinner (made prior reservations) and this place was packed when we walked in around 8:30 PM. We were immediately seated and loved the ambience and vibe of this place. The menu looked short and crisp - which I always appreciate since it helps limit my confusion. We ordered the following items: 1. Oysters: Excellent fresh raw oysters with a bergamot hibiscus granita. We liked this one. 2. Bread & Butter: The bread was a tad bit chewy but the black garlic butter was good. 3. Albondigas: Pork + Lamb meatballs served with roasted red pepper and hazelnut hummus-y spread. We liked this dish. 4. Mushroom Pasta with Shrimp + Chicken: Our fav dish of the night. The creamy sauce with truffle oil and mushrooms was hands down one of the best mushroom pastas I have eaten in my life. We ordered additional prawns and chicken and they were cooked to perfection. Overall I will crave this dish and be back for this. 5. Cocktails: Monkey Paw & Robert Jordan. Both these drinks were delicious but I loved the Monkey Paw a tab bit more than the Robert Jordan. This place clearly is a very good cocktail bar. Presentation for all dishes was on point and the portions were good for 2 if you order multiple starters but a single entrée. It is an expensive place for sure so be ready for that fat check. This place felt too loud to have a date night but can be a cool place to make dinner plans with friends. Service was top notch and food was out pretty soon. I will be back to try more cocktails and for their mushroom pasta. Highly recommend online reservations for this place.

Yelp
We have stopped here several times for cocktails on our way to other places, but have never eaten here. This weekend we decided to stop in for an early dinner after a really hot day at the waterfront. Got here at 4 when they opened, as we wanted to cool off with some drinks. Drinks are good. Ordered the beef tartare and hamachi crudo. The tartare was decent but looked like it was mixed with some sort of aioli/mayo kind of sauce. Don't remember if it was described on the menu, but it wasn't really our style. Pommes guafrettes were perfectly made, delicate and honestly I haven't seen these since culinary school. So, well done. The hamachi crudo I did not care for at all. I had 2 bites of it and set it aside. Our server noticed and I did tell him I didn't like it. He offered to replace it, but at this point with not caring for the tartare (we did not voice that to the server and we did eat it) and not liking the hamachi, we decided to cut our losses and finish our drinks and head to another place that we knew we would like. We finished our cocktails and asked for the check. Was it horrible, no. Was service good, ok. But if a customer politely tells you they don't like a dish, and the customer didn't eat it, and you take it away. You probably shouldn't CHARGE the customer for that dish. The hamachi was not taken off our bill. My husband just wanted to leave because he was hungry and over it. So we just paid and left. But this to me is very poor guest service. Regardless of the reason, take it off the bill. Bad form. And we would probably never come back, even for drinks, or recommend to others because of this.

Yelp
We met up with some friends here and we were all pleasantly surprised! This is a great place to meet up for double date night with good food and drinks. Burrata Salad - Highly recommend. Cheese and ingredients were all very fresh and light. Burger - Cheese made it unique and delicious!

Yelp
Overall : 8/10 If you want a good cocktail in an intimate fun vibe speakeasy- esque location in DT Kirkland and some fun small plates this is the place! It is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. It's also like one of the decent places in the east side open past 10pm. I would make a reservation even on weeknights if you can. Cocktails - 9/10 : don't expect nothing too crazy, they just execute well on the drinks and have an extensive menu even for those who don't drink alcohol, they have a full page on mocktails and low ABV drinks, I would come here again just for a drink. Food - 7.5/10 : extensive food menu, beautiful plating- good quality food, the menu is in "chapters" so it's fun to pick what to order. I would order a bunch of small plates or apps (chapters 1 &2) then split the entrees (chapters 5&6) family style if I came here again with some friends. I forgot to take a pic of the lamb ragu pasta but that was yummy. Vibes - 9/10 It's very dark in here but it adds to the mood and it does get a bit loud so I maybe wouldn't bring a date here but a group of friends. Service was great! Tables look like it's best for 4-6 people max.

Yelp
Discovered this place during Seattle Restaurant Week. Seattle Restaurant Week review: Was intrigued about their menu (drinks and food) so decided to check this place out. A small place in downtown Kirkland. 21 and over only. The place can get loud. Some of the tables did t have good lighting, like the high table we got during Seattle Restaurant Week. Had to use phone light to read the menu. Ended up just looking at their menu online. 3 course meal for $50: Appetizer - Burrata - Compressed apple, arugula, pork belly, cider reduction, candied pecans. For additional cost, I tried their suggested pairing - Bramley cocktail $14. The Burrata was delicious as well as the cocktail! Entrée - Bucatini - Manila clams, seaweed pasta, chorizo, tomato cream, lime crema. This was a hit as well. Dish was very flavorful! Dessert - Bourbon Pot De Creme - yummy! Hubby decided to choose from regular menu: Appetizer - Cream of mushroom soup (can't remember exact name). It was very good! They don't have this on the menu at the moment but hoping it'll come back in the Fall. Entrée- Lamb sliders - Smoked tomato, pickled shallots, lettuce, tzatziki, chèvre Served with truffle pomme frittes $20. If you like lamb, you'd like this dish! And the fries are crunchy and tasty! The pics turned out dark. Definitely coming back and bringing friends!

Yelp
The service was great. Vast liquor menu but not as great a selection for food. The Brussels sprouts were great, lamb ragu was good but gave me terrible heartburn. Cuba no sandwich was good and the pot de crème was fantastic.

Yelp
I had written a wonderful review of Bottle & Bull but it accidentally got deleted :( I'll just recap: - Bottle & Bull is my favorite - their cocktails are my favorite (esp Robert Jordan) - their dishes are fantastic (and I frequent here often and have tried about 70% of their menu) - their pineapple rum dessert is to die for (I always have to order this with each visit; I won't leave without it) - great service - I'll be back many times moreover.

Yelp
I went here once meeting a girlfriend in between our two houses, and I loved it so much I knew I had to come back. An upscale-but-not-stuff location and vibe, the dim lights but bustling ambiance really helps it feel like a comfortable place to chat and eat a delicious dinner. My husband and I chose a few different plates we could share, and our waiter Shane ensured our drinks remained full. Overall, it was delicious and if you're looking for a nicer dinner, this is the place for you.

Yelp
Came here for late night drinks, our server was very nice and friendly. I like to vibe of the restaurant, somewhat romantic. We didn't try the food here but the drinks were good.

Yelp
Perfect spot for a couple of beers with a friend. Their whiskey selection is vast. Great bartenders too.

Yelp
A very cute, cozy and lovely ambience, perfect for a date night or a candlelight dinner. The service was excellent, we had a reservation and arrived a bit early, but our table was already setup and we were instantly seated. Our server was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. I had the mushroom pasta on the server's recommendation, and it was unlike any mushroom pasta you typically get in Italian restaurants. The flavors were excellent, and the pasta itself was mind blowing. They make the pasta in house, fresh, and that reflected in the perfect texture of the pasta. Among the beverages, the mezcal mai tai was excellent. The third marriage was great as well, complex flavor with smoky aroma and sweet after taste. Overall, highly recommend this place for some great food and an evening well spent.

Yelp
TLDR: Amazing drinks, good ambience, mediocre pretentious portions of food. This place is great for an expensive date night. The ambience is great for two. No minors allowed. Every single drink we had was on point! The hibiscus sour was a perfect blend of sweet & sour and very Instagram worthy. The Robert Jordan was not fancy looking but the best tasting tropical drink! Old Cuban was great too! In food, we ordered a bunch of apps, which were priced like entrees but portion sizes were fit for an infant. None of the food items I tried were worth the price: very mediocre flavors. The steak tartare had many fancy ingredients that did not blend well together, The tostones too lacked flavor and seemed devoid of salt. We ended with the bourbon caramel pot de creme dessert which was absolutely delicious! And surprisingly cheap (6$) for this overpriced restaurant. I would come here again for the drinks for sure but will skip the food! Service was good too!

Yelp
Mushroom pasta was absolutely scrumptious!! I was pleasantly surprised. The truffle fries were also great. I will say that I was bummed they didn't have expresso drinks to enjoy post dinner, but they kindly made a pot of Zoka coffee; however, it was very watered down ((and, I love Zoka's coffee!)), but it was the thought that counts. Overall, would def recommend trying out!

Yelp
Love this place. Always solid. Mushroom Pasta, Asparagus Tempura and Tostones are a must. Cubano Sandwich is good, just not traditional. Would love to see some deli ham, mustard and pickles added. Service is amazing and drinks are bomb. Hence my 5 star rating

Yelp
I'm a regular customer who comes in weekly and was disappointed with the restaurant General manager during my recent visit on July 28th, 2023. As a Kirkland local my partner and I frequent Bottle and Bull for their appetizers and espresso martini's weekly during our date nights. Unfortunately from the start on this particular evening the male host was very unfriendly leading to restaurant GM Casey Smith being both disrespectful and rude. I am a big supporter of the partner restaurants and have always highly encouraged both locals and tourists to visit each establishment. However I'm unsure now after this particular evening... I was very disappointed in the way Casey publicly humiliated, downgraded and treated my partner and I (aside from bar staff) it was a very unpleasant experience. I feel that Casey profiled my fiancé and I which was very upsetting as a young interracial couple. I also made a reservation for a future date on this same evening after waiting 30 minutes for a seat. This reservation was set for nearly a month later to bring a friend from out of state and it was cancelled by the restaurant on 8/10 two weeks prior to my reservation. (See attached) As management it is important to handle things with grace, privately and discreetly away from guests. Not projecting personal hate, discrimination and shouting at customers for all to hear causing a disturbance. I've always appreciated the kind rapport, and professionalism held by the bar manager Cody. He's well versed with the drink menu, exceptional at his job and a wonderful representation of B&B making all guests feel welcome while keeping a positive inclusive environment. I am hopeful GM Casey can learn from him and things will be corrected and handled better in the future for all parties involved and future patrons.

Yelp
The food was great and I especially enjoyed the Old Cuban cocktail they have on their menu. Was there with an old friend and we both enjoyed sharing all the menu selections. Limited seating so reservations are a must. Very intimate and cozy.

Yelp
Delicious! Oysters, dates, albóndigas, corpse reviver, and Boise in the hood are AMAZING!! A little pricey but worth it if you are sharing good times with good company. Yummmm

Yelp
A great cocktail bar in Kirkland. The food is great, but not a lot of variety- few vegan options. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Their hours are limited- I think they'd strongly benefit from a weekend brunch. The ambiance is very gastropub and modern. Few TVs and 21+.

Yelp
First experience here, and it was so good (almost a five stars). Reserved a table ahead of time, and we were seated promptly when we arrived (a window seat too, which was great!). Our server pretty much arrived soon after and was really great for the whole evening. We started with an order of cocktails (the Katie Marie, and a Martini), which were incredibly delicious, however didn't arrive until after our food arrived, so be warned, if the bar is busy, you may be waiting a while for your drinks to arrive... but again, they were worth the wait! For food, we ordered a mix of plates. Our favorite was probably the burrata dish, I also really liked the tostones, but in general, all dishes (including steak tartare, and oysters), were incredibly fresh and worth it! For dessert, we opted for some delicious cocktails - the Pillow Mint, and Espresso Martini were both fantastic, and perfectly met our cravings for something sweet! Overall, the ambience is lovely, and it has a cozy atmosphere when the lights are lowered. The staff were so nice, even if super busy, and I found the prices to be fairly good value for this area, especially because every dish was flavorful so it's hard for me to pick on anything. The cocktails were fantastic, credit to the bar staff, though they are slow to arrive when it's busy, but can't fault the quality. Can't wait to return here again!
