Bottlecraft Oceanside

Bottlecraft Oceanside is a great spot for beer lovers, offering a vast selection of craft beers on tap and in bottles, plus cider and wine for those who prefer something different. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, so you can choose to relax inside or enjoy the fresh air outside. I enjoyed the cherry cider. It was well balanced- not too tart or too sweet. Although we didn’t try the food, it smelled fantastic, and it definitely adds to the overall inviting atmosphere. It's also a perfect place to grab some cans and bottles to go if you're looking to take home a unique selection. Overall, it’s a solid spot to enjoy a drink, whether you're staying to relax or picking up something special to take home.

Great spot to come try some unique beer from craft breweries. They had a great selection of beer from around San Diego County and several other great selections beyond that. You can not beat this place if you are a fan of trying a little bit of a lot of things. You can grab single cans of rare beers. It's awesome. There is a bar area, indoor, and outdoor seating available. There is a nice patio out back. If you want food, they have several snack items and an attached restaurant in the same space.

This Bottlecraft location has 30 taps and a big retail section full of beer, wine, cider, and even sake. The wine selection is great! There's also an in-house food vendor, Shootz, that serves poke, tacos and more. I also like how close this spot is to the beach and Bagby Beer!

Stopped here on one of our daily city exploration ventures. It was a hot, beautiful day, so a taphouse stop was a given. There were 24 beers on tap, and coolers full of craft beer in bottles and cans. Another coller held bottles of chilled wine. A door on the back opens to a large, covered, outdoor seating area.

Bottlecraft is an awesome location as part of the group of businesses that share the space. It doesn't actually have real meal food, but shares the space with Shoots, which has awesome food options. The space is great, with tons of room for kids to play and enjoy. I highly recommend bottlecraft if you like good beer and a fun environment to hang with the family. The Hubs and I love to do Saturday beer days - We will bounce around to different breweries to try new brews and grab some tasty bites. Bottlecraft has several locations, but we have both agreed that the Oceanside location is our favorite. Bottlecraft is a bottle shop and tasting room - This means that you can taste a variety of beers, which taps continuously rotating - then pick up cans of your faves.. or try brand new cans to bring home. We love to grab a spot at the bar {typically to watch whatever sporting event is on TV}, or on the back outdoor patio space if we come with a group. When seated at the bar area, you can also chat with the amazing beertenders and ask for their recommendations if you're unsure what to try {I will always recommend a good Hazy or Double IPA}. The team here is always on point - Providing fantastic service as well as friendly conversation while you enjoy your brews! Not a beer drinker?! Hard Kombucha, Cider, Wine and Non-Alcoholic options are available - There is something for everyone! While enjoying your brews, if hunger hits, visit Shootz Fish & Beer - This is a stellar food spot tucked in the corner as you enter the shop. Do not skip out on the Potato Taco! It's the perfect pairing with a good beer - You will thank me later for introducing this combo into your life! ;-) Along with phenomenal beer, Bottlecraft is pet friendly and just a hop skip and jump to the beach - What's not to love here?! I decided to check this place out, cause they are right next-door to communal coffee which I frequently visit. The inside of the brewery is decent, but I definitely like the outside area which is connected to communal and the wine Company next-door, which gives it a great community vibe. I ordered the taco platter where you can choose any kind of taco you want. I asked for two fish tacos and one Kalua Pork taco. The tacos weren't bad, they weren't great ,I would say average. For the price and the options of beers you get to choose from , it's worth checking out. They have many different beers on tap, with many size options available, which is great if you would like to taste different beer options. The service was nice and friendly, very attentive and very patient as well.

If you are looking for a place to try new beers this is the place to go. Not only do they have a great selection on tap they also have a great bottle/can selection. I was able to find beers that I have not been able to find anywhere else. Tried the sour that was on tap and bought the cascade kriek sour. There is a small corkage fee if you buy bottles and want to consume them there but it's worth it. They have a nice outdoor area that seems to be connected to the other businesses they are connected to. Will come back to try more beers.

My family had the pleasure of visiting Bottlecraft for the first time this past weekend. Finding a great brewery that is toddler friendly with great food and beer offerings can be difficult, but after visiting this weekend we will definitely be back! Bottlecraft had a dozen of beer options, even other breweries! We enjoyed everything we tried and more notably the Japanese IPA. We were easily able to order food at the neighboring establishment, Shoots. Specializing in seafood, we ordered poke, Ensenada fish tacos, fries, and crab and jalapeño mac. Everything was delicious and beautifully complimented the beer. Lastly, our favorite part was the enclosed patio seating area. It was spacious, with all exits gated, and a good size turf area-- all toddler friendly! Our toddler had the best time running around with other kids and we were able to enjoy ourselves with our minds at ease that we were in a safely enclosed patio. The touches of string lights and music made for a lively but homey atmosphere. Highly recommend Bottlecraft!

A small bottleshop with a poke place attached. We went on a Monday and it was just a few people there. We had no problem getting a table and placing orders. They have a draft menu with a good number or beers. They also have a refrigerated section with an array selection for you take home or drink there. We tried a few of their IPAs and all were delicious. They did allow me to ask for samples of their beers before placing a full order. There were a few tables inside but I do believe they also have an outside patio (it was kind of chilly and rainy this day so we didn't venture outside). They do play music but not overwhelming. There was someone there with a laptop so it may be a cool place to study or work if that's the kind of vibe you can work with. There was street parking that day. It is located next to Communal Coffee (another great spot) so on busier days and times I can imagine parking might be more difficult. Overall, a good place to meet up for drinks/light bites (from the attached poke place).

Can't get enough of Bottlecraft. I've been to 90% of their locations. I like how you they sell single cans. They have great draft selections and a patio to chill. I wish there was a closer location to home though.

Came here on a work tour and it was great, the service was stellar, was able to taste a few and know which one i actually enjoyed instead of having to just guess. I did find a beer i liked, but ultimately ended up with a wine, which is just my preference, but they had so many options. My coworker even found an adorable hat to buy her BF, it was a fun place. We were all pleasantly surprised, would highly recommend.

We love coming here with our kids , it's a great hangout spot for them to be able to run around while we can drink! Julissa , one of the bartenders, always helps me out with wine selection . I've had her help me get wine as a gift or to pair with a dinner and her selection is always spot on! Could not recommend this place enough.

Wow, what a little slice of heaven this place is for us craft beer geeks! Decided to take a 45 minute drive to Oceanside just to come here (and see the ocean). Both bartenders were incredibly friendly which made me feel comfortable since I came solo. Other patrons were also friendly and I loved how many cute dogs were there just hanging out. I enjoyed one flight of 4 beers, 1 draught pour, and 1 can pour while I was there. I was quite happy with all of my selections. I also appreciate that with draught pours, they offer taster, 8oz, and 16oz sizes. Their little shop section was great and overwhelming haha So many fantastic beers to choose from. Luckily, taking beers to go was made easier since you can purchase single cans and aren't committed to an entire 4-pack. There was some nice merch (I snagged 2 shirts and a koozie) and also a good selection of wine & mead for any non-beer drinkers. Would definitely recommend this location! I'm excited to come back; hopefully sooner than later!

This place I recommend to all who like to catch a pint, good bite and easy living on the coast! Customer service was cool and lively! Great variety on tap and buys to go! Take a deck of cards and a few friends ... Chilln!!!

While I've now been to all 4 San Diego County Bottlecraft locations (& have already Yelped 2 of those), Oceanside is the 1 I've been getting to the most as of late. 1 block adjacent to the Coast Highway, there's a nice chill vibe here being off of the main drag. It's only street parking, but that hasn't been too tough to find nearby. With roll-up doors in the front & patio seating in the back, there's a welcoming indoor/ outdoor flow to the place. For grub, Shootz Fish is also located inside. Though, I'll confess, I've only ever been here for beers. In that regard, this Bottlecraft is a great bottle shop & taproom. Much like the other Bottlecrafts I've been to. Comparitively, I do feel this Bottlecraft has a smaller cooler & less overall packaged beers than the other SD County locations. It's still quite a bit of beer, both in quantities & selection of styles. & the 24 taps of mostly beers, with a few seltzers or ciders or meads, is a lot like the other Bottlecrafts. Service has always been friendly & knowledgeable of beers. While Oceanside is out of the way for me, this Bottlecraft location is a desired stop to sip a few beers & take a few beers home whenever I'm out near the coast

I'm so excited that there's a Bottle Craft here in Oceanside!!!! Many people probably don't know what it is but it's basically a tasting room with beers from different breweries. The one in North Park shares a space with a delicious ass cheese shop. This Bottle Craft shares a space with Shootz which is a seafood spot. When I first hears there was a Bottle Craft in Oceanside I knew I had to get down there and quick. So I made it there and the place is very nice with an outdoor patio, seating inside, beer to go, and Happy Hour specials. Derek the bartender was super cool and answered all my questions The beer menu was a great size with some excellent beers on tap. I really can't wait to come back for a cold one. I really love how there is a seafood spot right next door so I can get and drink at the same time. You have to come and check this place out you won't regret it!

The world could be burning down around them and they would even notice. The women behind the bar were having the best conversation of their life but I had to unfortunately interrupt them to order my drink. Don't get me wrong this time place is great just wish it felt welcoming to come in and order.

Having been already a raving fan of Bottlecraft in LBX, I was kinda biased on this concept, it was nice to experience another location outside of long beach. It was every bit as good as LBX, and have a large selection of wine as well and plenty of dining space.

This place is awesome! We have really picky kids, and they loved the food. The staff was very helpful about holding back ingredients that the kids did not want in their tacos. The bartender was extremely knowledgeable about helping us pick out craft beers. Highly recommend to anyone!

AMAZING! A place that not only serves top flight beer but also have a refrigerated section of cans and bottles to buy has made this my go to place for buying beer to take home. The fact that this place and Shoots are in collaboration makes it the place to call home for me. Many e-bike trips here in the future.

This is a really cool spot! We've been to some of the other bottle crafts in SD county and were excited when we heard Oceanside was getting one! The place is off the main drag about a block and tucked away in a cool place called the Tremont Collective. It's basically a series of restaurants, bars, and stores all located near each other. It's a cool layout and tough to describe in words. Bottle Craft has an awesome selection of draft beers with roughly 20 different choices on tap and has an even better selection of cans/bottles. We've been in for some draft beers and to-go beers. If consuming on-site, there are inside and outside seating options and Bottle Craft is connected with a restaurant that serves food. Highly recommend and will be coming back often.

Love this place! Go during happy hour 4-6 and get your drinks open for free!!! Lots of beers on tap, but the best is grabbing a drink from the fridges. Amazing selection with selections starting at only $2!!

Called ahead to see if they sold a specific type of beer glass that I purchase at another bottlecraft location (I believe North Park). I described it on the phone and the girl who I was talking to said they had it and it was $7.99. I drive 30 miles here (because I can't find it anywhere else) and it turns out they just have the normal pint glasses that definitely not what I was looking for. A girl in-person (who looked 18) said they have another location in Carlsbad but could not provide any more information. I looked it up on the website, Google, and Yelp and there was no information about another location so she doesn't know what she's talking about. Additionally there is no parking here! It's street parking if you're lucky and there is a lot behind it but it was full. Came in around 2:30 PM so I can't imagine what it's like during peak hours. Overall extremely disappointing location

Bottlecraft has great vibes. Love going in, choosing a beer and relaxing with my husband. Sometimes they have live music, and I LOVE that Shootz is right there for a yummy taco or fish on a stick. Employees are awesome and we always feel welcome - such a great addition to our neighborhood. Parking is easy and even when it's busy you can park down the block and see all the other cool spots. Only negative is that I haven't looooooved what they have on tap. Usually all IPAs (which aren't my fave - sacrilege, I know), and nothing that really excites me I guess? All personal preference though.

This place is my favorite beer spot in oceanside. I love a good hazy IPA and they never disappoint. Bartenders are always super helpful and kind too. The outside patio is also super relaxed and fun. My only suggestion to the owners is to maybe get some fun games for the garden? I don't remember seeing any.

The best place to drink beers in Oceanside. The selection is impeccable, the bartenders are amazing and the music is always on point. They always have incredible beers on tap and in the coolers. Usually our go to spot when meeting friends (very baby/kid friendly). Great patio and nice selection of beer and wine. My husband is a big fan of Maine beer company since he's from the east coast and this place has it on tap. Shootz poke for food on site.

The vibe here is awesome. Friendly staff, ordered a seltzer for my wife and I got a hazy. Both winners. I noticed they serve a beer that won a gold medal, so I'll try it next time. Cheers!

I've gone here a few times with my work team for happy hour. I LOVE that they have more than just wheat beer, there is something for everyone! The patio is lovely and the food at Shootz is great! I don't get that snooty hipster vibe, very welcoming. They are starting to have live music on the patio on the weekend and throughly enjoyed the local teen band Sound Cookie! Comprised of two brothers and a kick ass drummer friend. Hope to see then again there soon!!

Great place in Oceanside tucked away and attached to Shoots eatery!! You can order food and they have a great bottle shop selection!!! They also offer a good selection of craft beers on tap! 10/10 would Recommend this place!!

Bottlecraft is such an awesome spot in the neighborhood! Glad to have them as neighbors but sad to hear that they are so understaffed that staying open till closing is almost impossible. I've been several times before closing only to have been turned away or told it was last call early, but I know everywhere is understaffed due to the pandemic, and I am confident this spot will make through! The beer selection is incredible and versatile compared to other establishments in the area. The staff on hand is always friendly and knows their stuff about their taps/ what's stocked in the fridge. It has become our go to spot to pick out drinks before heading out of town or to a friends house. The outdoor seating is wonderful, both the back, and the front! Bathrooms on site are clean and there is truly something for everyone here even if you don't like beer! I've tried some of the best sours and seen some very cool selections of kombuchas as well as stouts! There is even food on site: Shootz (also hit or miss if open due to staffing problems)! I hear it is sushi grade fish tacos from the same chef as the plot/whet noodle. Shootz also has beer on tap through Bottlecraft. Point and case- you gotta go!

Great selection of beers and wine. You can always find something fun and new to try here and the staff is always very helpful. Today we're trying apple pie which is a kombucha/ale hybrid, and a Belgian beer called Dutchess chocolate cherry. Both are really good and you're able to get different sized pours in most beers to meet your beer tasting needs. The selection on top is always diverse and while you're here you can grab food at any one of the wonderful restaurants that are part of the Tremont Collective.

Second time to bottle craft. The first time i had a great time. But the second time was a nightmare. We went to support our friends' child who was playing live in a band. One male bartender was so incredibly rude to us. In multiple interactions, the bartender treated us poorly (one by one) and then began to cut us off when we called him out because "he can refuse service to anyone". I'm from Oceanside and this "communal" spot sure didn't seem community based.

Love this place. My husband and I went for date night. It was delicious and I was recommended the Hazy IPA by the bartender and it was actually great.

This place is not friendly to locals. I have lived in oceanside for 40 years and only twice written a bad review but the way the beertenders treated us was not ok. Yes they have great local beers on tap but that's the only redeeming quality.

This was our second visit to bottlecraft. The first time was amazing. The bartender was great--terrific beer, terrific service. Today was the opposite. There were 2 bartenders who provided the worst service we've ever had. Literally, ever. Went out of the way to ignore/not serve us. One took a personal call when we tried to order. The other did busywork around the bar rather than serve customers. Unfortunately will never go back.

Bottlecraft is always the go to for the best selection of beers. Super stoked to have one in Oceanside now! Shorter drive for best beer!

I've got a lot of really nice things to say about this place! My wife and I love coming here every few weeks. They have a great selection of bottles from all over the state, and a really wide range of styles on tap. The servers are friendly and helpful. The attached taco shop Shootz is excellent, and the shared outdoor patio out back is always lively and fun. Highly recommended!

I've been to this spot a few times recently and have always been impressed with the beer selection. They have a rotating list of local beers on tap along with a few ciders and kombuchas so there is something for everyone! There is also a great selection of beers, ciders, and more in cans and bottles that can be purchased and enjoyed there. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly whether it's mellow or busy, even when it's packed the staff is ready to answer questions and make sure everyone gets something they can enjoy! Food by shoots is attached to the bottlecraft and even though it is mostly local seafood they even had a vegan option available for me. Very fun and accommodating place in a nice spot! I definitely recommend checking out bottlecraft if you haven't yet!

I went and checked this place out which was very deep and personal to me. I literally grew up in that building and when I say grew up, I literally mean I grew up in that building as a little girl to working on my own cars and what that building has turned into is a shame to see more of our blue-collar communities being pushed out. the attitude and the vibe was disgusting. Very unwelcoming. The beer tender was extremely rude and had the audacity to tell me that just because I'm a local or I grew up there doesn't mean that I have any connection with that building. Are you kidding me! Who and why does anyone seem to think such a snotty response to a customer is ok! I am extremely well known in the Carlsbad community and Oceanside and never have I ever been one to complain or be hard to please or to get along with - this is a heart wrenching experience in a building that a good portion of my life was spent in! Perhaps these youngsters forgot where they truly are and the respect and history that is held in places! I'm deeply saddened my late fathers business has turned into this.

We stopped by after being somewhere else near by because of the great reviews. The beer was alright and the food was good. But my husband and friend decided to look at the beers in cans to go. My friend bought two beers that rang up wrong, when we pointed it out they were able to fix it and that was that. My husband also found a single can he was interested in trying. So we went to purchase it and it also rang up wrong. I said, "the can is supposed to be $2.75, but it's ringing up $3.25" the man replied that the $3.25 is with tax. I pointed out that the total with tax was over the $3.25-- and he continued to tell me I was wrong. So I just accepted it because I'm not going to continue to argue over $0.50. Then the person chases us outside to stop us, to point out that the beer is really supposed to be $3.25 and it was labeled wrong. So it's not really his fault. I just said okay, but he continues on about it. Like I get it, it's wrong but someone labeled it and put it out on the shelf for $2.75. What kind of customer service is this? He tried to convince me I was the one who was wrong. Also, was it just coincidence my friend's purchase also rang up wrong? Or are they just trying to get people to buy and hope they don't notice the surcharge. Kind of shady if you ask me.

Always a killer selection and knowledgeable staff! Stephanie has good eye for beers, they're super dog friendly, and the back patio is a great place to hangout
