I often came to this bar because I live nearby. The owners seemed like a polite family. I came to relax and unwind. But I didn't really like how they pressured their customers. I always left good tips, but they charge extra for beer if it's from the fridge and don't allow you to buy it or open it yourself at the bar. Some strict rules. Although I often saw others buying and opening beer themselves and sitting at the bar. I also often overheard the family discussing their customers who came to relax. They also engage their regulars in discussing other customers.

If you personally inform customers about the laws every time they come to relax, it causes a lot of discomfort. I suggested you put up a sign so people could know about it, but so far your bar is just decorations and there's no information open to customers. Thank you for your response. P.S the answer of owner for my previous review below Lada, as we discussed in your last visit, the law states that a permitted business must open any alcoholic beverage. It is against the law for a customer to open their purchased beverage, it is not just our rules. Everyone is held to this. This was communicated to you prior to you opening up your beer can during a busy time. Since our ownership, no one has been allowed to open their own beverages in this bar; we open all drinks and start all pours. In regards to the extra fee, we discussed that items that are in the to-go fridge or on our shelves are priced for carryout; however if you want to enjoy them here there is a minimal opening fee, which is an industry standard. We wish you the best.

I’ve always found the staff at Bottles and Cans to be cordial and pleasant during my visits, but my recent experience left me disappointed. I attempted to use gift cards that had been purchased under the store’s prior ownership, and I was told they would not be honored. The explanation given was that the prior type of gift card could not be “tracked,” but from a customer’s perspective, that shouldn’t matter. If a business continues to operate under the same name, it carries with it the reputation, goodwill, and responsibility of that brand. Refusing to honor existing gift cards—no matter the technical excuse—is not an appropriate way to conduct business. The message this sends to customers is clear: buying a gift card here is a risk, since ownership could change and leave you with worthless plastic. That’s not the kind of trust a local business should foster in its community. I sincerely hope Bottles and Cans reconsiders how it handles these situations in the future.

Stopped in for a minute & met the new owners. They’re lovely people. Very personable and knowledgeable about their wine and beers. I had a tasty, Tempranillo and my pal had a yummy Cava. Happy to see they are selecting quality and affordable wines to purchase by the glass. Til next time…Cheers!🥂

Professional and welcoming staff. The staff here are extremely engaging and helpful in allowing me to taste things on tap before I made a final decision. There are a variety of options on tab and I even found one of my favs here "Ginger Revenge." No complaints. There are a few events going on here and food trucks that visit, so I hope to make an appearance here again as this is convenient to my side of town and the commute is effortless.

Holy MOLY - get the Hard Latte if you like chocolate milk. It's delicious! The guy working was friendly and quick. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is because when we first walked in, there was a STRONG smell of trash. Not sure what that was about. But other than that, it's the cutest beer and wine shop with a bar built in. Little, cozy lounge area as well! Can't wait to come back.
