Here you can enjoy French brasserie cuisine made from fresh produce, from ‘Beef tartare classique’ and ‘Moules marnière’ to ‘Veal ragout Blanquette de Veau’ or dishes for two, such as ‘Chateaubriand’, in a classic ambience for lunch and dinner. Great dinner at the new brasserie. The fine dining menu is in another league, however. I much prefer it, as the new brasserie takes away from that high-end experience (white tablecloth atmosphere and neatness of fine dining). We were quite a large group and were not informed about that we'd be at the à la carte brasserie, expecting the Gourmet restaurant instead. We had a great time anyhow.

We had a great dining experience, which is, to our current knowledge, a rather rare joy in Switzerland. Here not only the food met expectations, but the professional and friendly service as well. Among all, the beef was heavenly and some great wine we discovered, thanks for the information from the waiter. If anything, then the petite fours coming with the coffee were less satisfactory, but that took nothing from the value of the lovely evening.

A wonderful restaurant situated in the picturesque Bottmingen Castle. The food was well presented, tasty and introduced by our waiter before each course, so that we knew what to expect! :) The staff were lovely. Very attentive without being intrusive. My friends and I were treated well and I can honestly say that we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Michelin starred restaurant just outside Basel, located in a castle. It adds some charm to your visit, and while the service won’t disappoint, the atmosphere is a bit flat. Nothing extraordinary. The staff is very attentive and deserves a recognition. You can go for the surprise menu which is quite elaborate in composition, and well balanced. The menu is adapted regularly on the season. It’s definitely worth visiting.

We had such an incredible experience. We chose the 5 course menu and it was a delightful journey of flavors. The service was great, we had a very friendly waiter. And what can I say about the setting? Dining inside a castle cannot be topped!
