Came in yesterday 11-13-24 at 5:00 pm with my family just the four of us, and we ordered we were given a number, and we sat and wait patiently, but five minutes of waiting to turn into 1010 minutes of waiting turned into 15 and 15 turned into 20 and finally after 30 minutes of waiting we noticed that the restaurant was catering to online online takeout orders, their in-house dining customers.
We literally watched DoorDash, and all other pick ups come through - get their food - and leave, with an entire restaurant full of people who are dining in just sitting around twiddling their thumbs wondering what the heck going on.?
A lady who came in two people behind us finally got up and asked where her food was, and they brought her food later.
Once we did get our food, my son's pizza from the kids meal was cold and served cold to him, my father's burger that he ordered was also cold and my soup and my mother soup was perfect, however, the amount of time 30 minutes plus to get our food having it served cold was ridiculous.
Now my father is 75 years old. He's very set in his ways, I wanted to talk to the manager, but he did point out that there's absolutely no point in talking to the manager, to write a review and just know that we're never coming back to this location. However, I am going to be making a phone call this afternoon around regular business hours to talk to a manager this morning because yesterday was just ridiculous.
Don't get me wrong. The clam chowder is fabulous! On a cold rainy day like yesterday it was an idea, family outing, we just weren't expecting to sit down for 30 minutes, especially at a place like boudin.!!?? Yeah, we won't be coming back to this location.
