"There are always lines outside Bouillon’s two locations, and that’s because from noon to midnight every single day, the kitchens pump out classic French dishes at super low prices (€20 can get you exactly eight orders of oeuf mayo, should that be the direction you want to take your day). Swing by the one in Republique after walking around the Marais or the Pigalle outpost if you're in Montmartre. A great value for money dining place as evidenced by the long queues forming constantly outside. If you have patience to wait, you will be properly rewarded. The decor is cozy and welcoming! Service is exceptionally fast due to the limited menu. Bonus points for the option to pay via QR code. Food was affordable and tasty although we dined better at higher end establishments! For its price range, it is highly recommended

overrated food.. very long queue to the restaurant.. had the egg mayonnaise with summer truffle 0/5 not my cup of tea. prefer homemade tarata summer truffle. beef smoked bacon for the mains 3/5. food was bland.. not much spices, I think my beef stew taste way better than what is better served. chocolate mousse for dessert 5/5. Best option I believe. the staff are lovely.

This restaurant has a reasonably priced menu with delicious food compared to other restaurants in Paris. We love this place. The atmosphere is very enjoyable, everything we ate was delicious, and their homemade wine was excellent. It is important to remember that this is a small, local eatery. If you go without a reservation, you will have to wait in a long line. /Feb 2023 /July 2024

What a lovely experience! Prices are fantastic, the food is amazing, staff were very nice and accommodating. Make sure you either have a reservation or go for a little bit of an earlier dinner as there is a line from 7pm onward

The place is crowded and you have to make a reservation in advance or wait in line. The tables inside are quite small and close to the other tables. The food was amazing for the price we payed. I really recommend the creme brûlée!

We were really looking forward to visiting this famous restaurant. When we arrived around 5:30 PM, we had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated, even though the restaurant was only half full. We ordered the traditional onion soup, which unfortunately didn’t meet our expectations in terms of taste. We also tried the escargot and duck breast with potatoes, which were decent but nothing exceptional. The prices were quite reasonable compared to other restaurants. However, the service was not particularly friendly. By 7 PM, there was a long line of people waiting to dine, so it’s best to go during peak hours if you want to avoid a wait.

The food is very good for the price you pay, moreover that you are in the center of Paris. This is the classic French cuisine. The fish was well done, the ratatouille like granny's one. The steak was good, but the pepper sauce is far away from the classic pepper sauce I am accustomed to. You should try as a tourist, but as a French you could be disappointed.
