Where To Eat In The Middle Of The Day In Paris

"There are always lines outside Bouillon’s two locations, and that’s because from noon to midnight every single day, the kitchens pump out classic French dishes at super low prices (€20 can get you exactly eight orders of oeuf mayo, should that be the direction you want to take your day). Swing by the one in Republique after walking around the Marais or the Pigalle outpost if you're in Montmartre. Order the onion soup, snails with parsley butter, and the quarter roast chicken with fries as you map out which wine bar you’ll be hitting up for apéro." - sophie friedman

Ceaser our person made the whole experience amazing. He offered suggestions and they were all ok point. The food was good and very affordable. Make sure you make a reservation it is much better. The whole atmosphere was good and the staff seem very friendly and nice. Ceaser made our last night in franch very good. The desserts he recommended was on point.

Just really great. There were four of us and we had to wait about 20 minutes in the evening. But it's definitely worth it, especially because the prices are top notch and the food tastes really delicious. In the photos, I photographed the menus in German, English, and French. We tried a variety of different dishes, everything was really delicious, and the service was excellent, especially considering the number of people! We particularly liked it because, unlike some other restaurants, it's not about looking great and having chic, photogenic decor, but about the food and having great conversations, which makes it feel like home.

This is one of THE most justified restaurants in paris. You can get foie gras, oysters, escargot and steak frites for an affordable price. The service staff were good too, as we got our table quickly once we reached the end of the queue. The interior is gorgeous as well, the rustic wood design makes the place feel luxurious yet comfortable. The steak frites were really good but of course, this isn’t the best in town, just really worth the price. The escargot and oysters were delicious too but what really stood out was the fioe gras. It was buttery in taste and smooth in texture, perfect with the bread. Lastly we had creme brulé for dessert and it was amazing - super generous in portion and very rich, creamy and the sugar coating was perfectly crisp.

Delicious! Cozy! A bit tight, but everything is neat and comfortable! I can recommend it! We came till 6:00 PM and didn’t have to wait in line. The classic onion soup has disappeared from the menu. The dishes took a little while to be served, but everything was tasty! It was my first time trying snails — thank you! Just don’t let them seat you next to the waiters’ working station — not the nicest spot 🙌🏻

Rocky truly went above and beyond during our visit to Bouillon République in Paris. His service was attentive, professional, and warm from start to finish. Every dish we ordered was wonderful, and trying escargot for the very first time was an excellent experience thanks to his guidance. Unfortunately, the scanning machine mistakenly recorded a 1‑star rating for his service, but we immediately explained it was an error. Rocky absolutely deserves 5 stars for his hard work and dedication. Thank you, Rocky—we greatly appreciate your effort and the memorable dining experience you gave us!

Amazing place! We waited an hour to get in, there was a huge queue, which did move fairly quickly - and it was so worth it! Still, better to have a reservation, confirmed. Prices are great, food is amazing, and the service and overall atmosphere is gorgeous! Me and my wife ate sooo much - everything was delicious - definitely must try the mayo eggs with truffle, and the onion tart, and the shrimp with mayo, and the bone marrow (if you’re into that, she said it was great and creamy), and the potato and porcini gratin, and the beef bourguignon, and the cheese plateau, and for dessert - the créme brulée Had some ‘rosé by the pitcher’ (1.5L hehe) and wife had the non-alcoholic cocktail, it was real nice All and all, around 85€ combined - my favourite place in Paris! Only sad part was, they didn’t have the onion soup, but it may be in the lunch menu Will continue visiting any time we’re in Paris <3

The food was really really bad. My friend didn’t even finish it (yes it was that bad). The fries and crème brûlée were good tho. The red wine was extremely watered down. The staff was quite rude tho too, we were having a conversation over wine but they just wanted to get rid of us. I get it, it’s a busy place but that’s no way to treat your paying customers. I’d suggest to absolutely not visit this place. Waste of time standing in the line. You can find much better authentic French food in other places.

The food was really tasty! Super cheap and delicious place to eat. Especially if you are on vacation. We payed around 100€ with two person and 2 kids. We have started, main meal and dessert, all of us and also drinks of course .We were there around 17:00 o’clock was a perfect time. We had place direct. We saw later in the evening is really a lot of people what is understandable for this price and quality. Highly recommend! When we go back to Paris we will definitely go back to this place!
