"One of the best bakeries on the Côte d’Azur, Boulangerie Jean-Luc Pelé is the perfect place to pick up a picnic for the beach. The savory selection, including gourmet salads, sandwiches, wraps, and even a house-made bagel, can please just about any appetite. And there is no lack of temptations for dessert:Aglass case holds macarons , cakes, fruit tarts, and items that look almost (but not quite) too pretty to eat. The shop’s chocolates make good souvenirs to bring home—if they don’t get devoured along the way."
I think there is a difference when you sit in there and hence experience potentially unpleasant service (see other reviews) or just go there for bread and pastries.
I can speak only about _take away_ option.
I like the quality of food, cashiers are always nice to me. I have been going there for quite some time and continue to do so.

Great Boulangerie! There are a lot of options and the pasteries, bakery and tarts are excellent. Workers are very friendly and the store is clean and bright. It was in walking distance from where we stayed and was recommended by my brother-in-law. We visit every few days during our stay on Cannes.

Lovely place, everything is to die for.
Is clean and big and has several formulas to choose from.
The only thing I didn't like is that everything is served with a lot of unnecessary plastic. It would be nice if they'd used reusable cups, glasses and cutlery instead.
