Boulangerie - Pâtisserie - Confiserie "Brier"

Very cute bakery with a place to sit and enjoy your coffee and some lunch or desserts. Service was fast and polite. Would visit again if I am in town.

Gorgeous bakery! This is a beatiful bakery with goreous window displays, a comfortable dining area and lovely friendly staff. We wanted to try Le Mervilleux (the marvellous) but by the time we arrived at the bakery, all the chocolate ones were gone so we had to settle for one dusted with speculoos crumbs. The young man who waited on us told us it was his favourite - and he was right - it was just amaaaaaaaazing!!

Very nice bakery. One door for queueing for take out. Other door (next to seating) for table service.

A nice place to have pastries in Lille. To sit in the prices of the cakes are a lot more than to take out, still very nice but be careful. The tea was 5 euros each, however I cannot fault the food, the cheesecake was my favourite!

Desserts are super good 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😊 Server is kind,friendly. Place is very cozy,clean and not expensive. So many varieties available. Higly Recommend

Having our breakfast in Brier was really a good choice! Sandwiche terrine, pain au chocolat, croissant, gaufre de maison, espresso, cafe au lait and tea were outstanding. Especially croque monsieur jambon + formage was the favorite of all of us. Brier was very busy at the time we were there. So we had to wait for our table for awhile. But it was very worth of it. Waitress was also very kind and friendly. We love this place!

Delicious pastries, long line to order but worth it. The entrance to the dine-in area is a bit confusing but then the lady from the cashier kindly guided us to a table where we enjoyed a coffee with our delicious tartaletes. They say that when you see a line, it’s a good sign. Well, this place will catch your eye for sure.

We ordered two cappuccino and two galette flamande, which was recommended by a really friendly French lady that sit next to us. She told us that galette flamande is from Lille! At first we didn't expect a bread could be this tasty. After we took a bit, we really like the softness texture and the perfect sweetness for the galette flamande. If you ever visit here I highly recommend to try one! Moreover, the coffee was also very nice! Service was good and staffs were nice. I brought two pastries for take out, one is a nutty flavour and another one is apple crumble flavour. Turns out to be great as well! I am very happy that my friend found this place! We will definitely come back again ♡

Very nice place for a little lunch. We stopped by a little after 1:30 and almost all of the savory choices were already sold out. It was ok because we knew we wanted a quiche. There was a choice among three and we selected the Quiche Lorraine with jambon. It was huge and perfectly cooked the filling was so moist and tender. Not a bite was left. We also got a Apple Tart type thing that had a layer of custard that was to die for. Service was great. There was seating for about 22 or so and very comfortable. Quiche, apple tart and two drinks was $18. Very reasonable and highly recommend.
