This was my place to go back in the days when they first opened. The breads are delish, the pastries are just perfectly well baked and not too sweet, the coffee smell just make you feel like you’re in Paris. The prices are considered high then but it was well worth it and people just line up to get the goods and including the bánh mì. Now it’s still good but not like before, shop is way less crowded (too many stores popped up), the new generations are changing the taste bug. They have less pastries than I remembered but they still keep the ones that I like. Their cakes are good but nothing special. The bánh mì is less tastier and the bread is harder. The place got upgraded couple times and still look nice and grand, they do have several small tables with soft Parisian music as background and chairs inside next to the glass windows for dine-in. Service is good and plenty of parking since it’s in a shopping plaza.

Everything tasted wonderful and exceeded our expectations. The Christmas cakes are beautifully crafted, full of holiday spirit, and very inviting. The cake texture is soft and moist, with a sweetness that’s perfectly balanced — not too rich or overpowering. The cream is smooth and light, making the cakes enjoyable from the first bite to the last. The Pastries Box is just as impressive. The bread is fresh and soft, the fillings are flavorful, and the selection is well balanced with pastries and fruit. It’s a great option for a quick meal, breakfast, or sharing during small gatherings. The presentation is clean and well-organized, which makes the experience even better.

I ordered the grilled chicken Vietnamese sandwich and it was INCREDIBLE! So many cold crisp veggies and succulent grilled chicken wrapped up in a homemade crusty French roll and all as fresh as could be. I'm thoroughly impressed with the sandwiches and pastries here! The service could use some work as far as attitudes go but the food speaks for itself. The environment is clean, easy to find with plenty of parking. It's a small dining room but wasn't too busy at lunchtime on Saturday afternoon.

Finding a good Galette des Rois can be a challenge, but every year, I always come back to Boulangeries for this traditional French treat. The filling here is incredibly rich and flavorful, striking the perfect balance without being overly sweet. The pastry crust is delightfully crispy and buttery, adding a luxurious texture to every bite. At $34 for a 7-inch galette, it’s absolutely worth the price for the quality you get. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy an authentic and delicious Galette des Rois!

Google
This is an incredible bakery, I would argue the best in the area. I come out of my way for their croissants and macarons, and everything they make looks fresh and beautiful. I don’t typically write reviews because I don’t experience intense loyalty to many businesses, but I have been coming to this place for years and it has always fulfilled my expectations. Utterly delightful, kind, quick, fresh, tasty, a beautiful selection. A hidden gem— tell your friends.

Google
This bakery has a great selection of cakes, pastries and bread. I was overwhelmed by the selection. We tried the raspberry jesuite, almond croissant and pork pate chaude. All were good but the jesuite hit the spot.

Google
Not much available yet at 8:30 on a Saturday. Had warm Pork Pate Chaud which was great and day old apple and almond pastries. Looks like most business is regulars getting take out from the back.

Bravest B.

Google
Presentation is top notch but not a fan of fruit tart on corn breading. Prefer it on familiar flaky croissant breading. Solid 4.5 stars overall for the patient and friendly staff.

Yelp
We celebrated a birthday tonight and my cousin brought a cake from Boulangerie Pierre. The cake surely looks different than the normal cakes at various French Vietnamese bakeries in the area. Pretty decorations. However, the cream butter frosting was way too thick and the cake inside was just okay. I wouldn't order it here again but it was convenient for my cousin, he said, so he picked it up there. I would say 3.5/5.

Yelp
Decided to try their banh mi and pate chau since I was in the area, and wanted a quick lunch. At first glance, everything looked presentable and good. LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING! The pate chau was cold and not good at all, even though it was in a display warmer.. odd. I told the lady and she was like "oh you should've told me you were eating it now, so I can warm it up for you" (pate chau's are usually ready to eat, I've never had to tell them to re heat it) So she asked the girl in the back to warm it up for me. a couple minutes later she let me know it was ready... WHY IN THE WORLD DID THEY THINK IT WAS OK TO MICROWAVE IT??? If you know pate chau-- you know it's one of those things you just don't heat up in the microwave! It's supposed to be buttery flaky and crispy. ANYWAYYYY my banh mi came out, I got the Dac biet and there was nothing Dac biet about it. For a place known for pastries and bread, the baguette for the banh mi was not toasted, it was hard and truly sad. I had such a terrible experience. 0/10 do not recommend.

Yelp
Quick breakfast inside. Great service and nice soft French music. Got "pain aux raisins" and apple turnover with orange juice. Thank you for this nice little place

Yelp
Absolutely disgusting experience. I ordered a chicken sandwich this morning and found a pepper covered with mold inside. No, those are not black pepper flakes. So disgusted and threw up everything! I couldn't believe this actually made it out of the kitchen. It's completely unacceptable to serve food in this condition. I'm genuinely concerned about their food handling and cleanliness standards. I go here all the time, now I don't think I will ever come back, and I hope they take this seriously before someone gets sick.

Yelp
We decided to stop by here after hearing about the fresh pastries at this family owned business. The croissant and the Raisin buns were delicious and fresh. I purchased a few more of the small cakes and they are delicious also. The customer service was great and the manager/ owner Alain was great and recommended you visit if you like French pastries.

Yelp
What a little hidden gem fusing French and Vietnamese. So smart to put the flavor on each macaron on top. Love that Our Lady is honored front and center. Prices are reasonable. The almond pastry is both buttery and flaky. There are two sizes and flavors of eclairs. You end up getting the large for $1 more anyway though. Come for the iced Vietnamese coffee as it's super strong without being overly acidic. Lots of different drinks. Staff is quick. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
I only come here for two items: baguettes + chicken pate chaud Baguette $2.5 leans more buttery and is wonderful in Bo kho. If it's not crisp, I just toast it in the air fryer. Was able to get one at 3pm on a weekday! Chicken pate chaud $3 - $4?? has a large tender meatball inside, it reminds me of gravy (there's an herb in here that I cannot remember the name!!) also quite large in size ! The crust is buttery and tastes better than other places, with the meat juices being soaked into pastry. Other fav is Paris Au coeur (but theirs is pricier for the smaller size). It's a $10 minimum to use cc iirc They take Amex

David N.

Yelp
Please don't order any cake from here. I ordered mine 2 days in advance and expecting a freshly made cake. Turned out that it was previously made and the cake was hard. It wasn't moist at all. Everyone in my family complained and told me not to buy cakes from this establishment anymore.

Vo T.

Yelp
I've always been a fan of the cakes at Boulangerie -- they're rich inside without being overly sweet, just the way I like them. Today I got a 7-inch tiramisu and agreed to pay an extra $5 for decoration. With just that small amount, they made the cake look absolutely beautiful, nice hand writing and exactly how I imagined it. It was a gift for someone very special, and he loved it. I highly recommend this family-run bakery. They really put care into every detail!

Anh D.

Yelp
Dry bánh mì, nothing special about bánh mì đặc biệt! Very cold, and not toasted bread! Similar to ham or thịt nguội! Never come back
google avatar

Globe Trekker N.

Yelp
Do not bother with this place. The pastries have gone downhill a long time ago, unless you like stale (cold, doughy, mushy) pastries.
google avatar

Ansley T.

Yelp
My parents and grandma have been coming here ever since I was a kid, but personally, I had never been inside until yesterday . They have always talked about how good the bánh mì and croissants were here, and I for one, have never really been a big fan of bánh mì. Until I tried the grilled pork (bánh mì thịt nướng) sandwich a few weeks ago. It was so delicious and the best bánh mì I have ever tasted! I got it again yesterday but the bread wasn't too crunchy. That wasn't too much of a problem though because you can simply heat it up at home or something. I also always enjoy the chocolate, raisin, and almond croissants here, with the latter being my favorite! It's a cute little shop with a mostly pastel yellow interior and definitely reminiscent of some French influences. Service is also generally fast. I'd recommend coming here if you'd like some amazing croissants and bánh mì.

Lylia B.

Yelp
Please make sure to ask the owner when the pastries were made, sometimes they are a day or so old and they don't tell you about it, so you pay full price for an item that is not of a very good quality

Yelp
I am very sad about my experience this morning. I always call ahead of time and request the cashier to set a few chocolate croissants on the side, and I will pick them up later during the day as they sold out quickly. There was a man picked up the phone. He told me that he cannot saved them for me on the side because he "only made enough for the day." I told him that I did the same thing last week, and was allowed to reserve and pick up the croissant later during the day. He demanded me that "if you want your croissant, you need to pay now!" I told him that I am at work and everything is locked inside my locker that I do not have my credit card with me. He said, "Sorry," and hanged up. I am very upset at this experience. I have been coming here since 2020 during COVID. I always come pick up what I reserved. I under stand that he might worried that customer might not coming to pick up their order; however, this is not my case. I just hope that they can improve their customer service, especially phone etiquettes.

Yelp
Great selection of French bakeries. With the staple items like fresh baguettes, croissants, scones, and other pastries. When you come at the right time, you will get to have their fresh made baguettes which taste great.

Carol R.

Yelp
If you like baguettes and real French pastries, this is a good location. The service is great.

Yelp
I just bought mocha cake for my sister's birthday. That was so amazing. The cake is so moist and strong of coffee taste. The cake and strawberries on top are so fresh. The way they writing is so pretty. We also bought some pastries there. I pretty like the strawberry croissants, choux creams and pate chauds, especially the chicken one. It's so tender and buttery. Anyway, we will come back this French bakery again. 10/10 +1 good and friendly service
google avatar

Kim H.

Yelp
I go to this plaza often and finally tried this little hidden gem. My husband enjoyed our single serving of Black Forest cake and chocolate eclair. I got a small mocha slice and some fresh Madeline's. Super delicious and not too sweet. I bought home a package of butter biscuits with raisins (childhood nostalgia!) and they were delicious as well. Service was excellent. Can't wait to be back and try more!
google avatar

Jasmine V.

Yelp
Got my cake here and it's beautiful! Love how they added the fresh fruits and they were really fresh and sweet! The cake was moist and had flavor of coconut and pineapple. The cream was delicious too!

Yelp
I had some time to kill before a movie so decided to come check out Boulangerie Pierre and Patisserie. I wanted to try their savory pate chaud, but they were already sold out. Instead, I ordered a banh mi sandwich, raisin croissant, and fruit tart. The banh mi was just okay, bread was soft and filling flavor just average. The fruit tart was also very flat and fruit was not the freshest. The raisin croissant looked beautiful in the display but the one I got looked almost underbaked instead of a nice golden color. $10 minimum to use credit card, which is why I bought 3 items. The service was also just average. The interior is pretty but I found this bakery to be pretty mediocre overall.

Yelp
Terrible service. We ordered 6 logs cake total, one for pick up on Friday and one on Saturday. The store stated all cakes would come with separate packing and separate gift bags. As I picked up the cake on Friday, the lady at the counter gave me 2 bags for 3 cakes. I asked for the third bag because we were gifting to 3 separate families and they rolled their eyes and just threw the bag over the counter. I came to pick up my last 3 cakes today and they gave NO bags. The lady in front of me ordered smaller cakes and they gave away the last of the large bags. How do you have more cakes than bags? Seems pretty unprofessional. Both times we weren't greeted, treated poorly and made us feel like we were burdening to 'em for asking for bags. Wouldn't recommend anyone to come here based on the attitude and treatment from the owner and workers.

Yelp
Call me an apple turnover snob all you want but I got all excited about the apple turnovers I saw at Boulangerie monday morning when I came in, because I'm an apple fiend. Puff pastry is my thing, too, but the filling left much to be desired when it was all applesauce and no apple ‍ really? This is the second time I've been here, the first being when I got their strawberry croissant, which was not bad. Both times ordered the latte, hot, which I kind of wish was consistent. on Monday mine was borderline lukewarm hot, not actually hot. I'd still come back again while waiting for service on my car when I'm taking it into the shop across the street, but wouldn't go out of my way to come here. Service is good, but when I asked the person on Monday if they heat up the apple turnovers, she said no. It's not hard to heat up pastries and I know it's a pain in the butt to ask for things but I don't think it's a tall order to heat up a pastry when there is no one in line at 9am (not a busy hour here, apparently).

Yelp
I came in to this bakery for a birthday cake. Everything looked appetizing so I bought macarons and some pastries Unfortunately the cake Was very dry and it taste like it was there for a while I got The tiramisu, same thing with the macarons and pastries I was so disappointed with this bakery and embarrassed with my family. Service was alright. It's just your typical bakery. I did feel welcomed when we walked in.

Terri N.

Yelp
Offer varieties of pastries, the best raisin rolls. Quick service. Store is kept clean.

SANDRA C.

Yelp
Found this place when we were having pho down the strip. Curiousity went in to check out this store. Glad we did. Ordered a couple mini cake to try out and liked it. A month later camw back to grab my bday cake, with 3 types of chocolate. All my guests love it. Not too sweet just perfect. 5 small pcs of candle they charge $1.
google avatar

Monica L.

Yelp
I really should write a review about my wonderful co-workers, but..... these were actually the highlight of my morning. In celebration of a work anniversary, my coworker brought in these strawberry creme croissants. The custard filling was light and not overly sweet. The dusting of confectioner's sugar gave it some contrast. Purchased that morning and arrived not soggy and the croissant held well. Never been to the actual storefront, but after looking at some of the amazing pics, I'll have to drop by my next time in the area and grab a bang mi.

Yelp
Good sandwich, yummy pastry, good pricing, definitely give a try if in the area, good friendly service, it's a French bakery with photos of Paris on the walls

Yelp
Went on a rainy night at 6 pm. Most bakery items sold out. Ordered jamon on baguette with small French pickles. We had to take it to go as they were already stacking the tables and chairs. I asked why since it says they close at 7:30 pm, another 1 1/2 hours away. The gal gave some indistinct answer that only made sense to her. We went to car to eat sandwich, both my husband and I agreed it was so dry the bread got stuck in your throat. It was suppose to have mayo and mustard, maybe they were closed for the night too! Pieces of ham between the bread with the tiny tiny pickles in there. We agreed we would never return as there are so many Lee's Sandwiches in that area for better price, more ingredients, and not have bread get stuck in your throat. Overall the customer service was lacking and gave off vibe that you were bothering them. Don't worry we won't ever bother you again!!

thanh n.

Yelp
The staff here seems like decent people. They apologize and tell you if they don't have some thing. Their food is very good!
google avatar

Stephanie T.

Yelp
This review is ONLY for their cakes. Ordered a strawberry cream cake for a very special birthday. Unfortunately, it was a unanimous disappointment. The presentation was beautiful, but taste definitely no-so-much! What are the other adjectives for dry, stale and old?! Insert here and you get the idea of what waits inside. This is/was our go-to for the best aioli and pate, but couldn't believe how bad the cake was; no gentle way to put it. Definitely expected a lot more!
google avatar

tina j.

Yelp
First time there so I asked what flavors the mini cakes were. The lady seems annoyed and told me they are the same flavors as the whole cakes that were in the other display case. All the ones I got were just blah. The green tea I wouldn't even know it was green tea had no flavor and the cake was dense. Black Forest cake was a bit more soft and had chocolate flavor but nothing to wow about. Caramel had burnt caramel flavor. Napoleon was nothing to talk about. Overall I won't be going back. Due to service and flavorless cakes. Cakes did look pretty tho but sadly thats where it ends.

Yelp
This place was the great when it first opened for just almost the first 2 years (during the time the French guy and the family migrated from France were there- the original 1st owner). Everything was fresh and delicious, and I was a regular customer. I have not seen them there at the shop for years now and for years now, and so does the variety and QUALITY of the food. On 2 different occasions, I came in for mini cakes, coffee eclairs, croissants... Mini cakes and eclairs were dehydrated dry like they were sitting in the refrigerated case for at least 2-3 days. It looks good from outside looking in, but NOT taste. I cannot returned or exchanged because I took a bite and purchased. NO refund, NO exchange on shitty 2-3 days old food. These people DO NOT throw out their bake goods at the end of the day - or label it as DAYS OLD Bakery 50% off - at least I have a choice of eating dried old bakery with 50% and not being bitter about it. If I am paying full price, the bakery better be baked in the morning of the same day. Same goes for coffee eclairs. Where is the coffee in these damn coffee eclairs. The filling was too sweet, and the texture was more like dried cake icing. The croissants were not the same as before. Maybe the baked goods were delicious if you happened to be at the on the same day they just made. I just happened to show up on the day they were baked 3 days ago. Either way, the food tasted off. It felt like the ingredients substituted for a different brand ... like ... originally flour and butter imported from France. Now substituted for the cheap all purpose flour and butter from Costco ... I can TASTE it. 2 times are plenty enough punishment for me to come back - unless the original owners were there.

Yelp
We love this place!!! Been here once before and had to stop again when we was back in town. That's how good it was considering all the other restaurants options available. Their house the special #1 jambon sandwich is a must!!! Simple sandwich but perfectly executed. We also had the chocolate eclair and flan but it was not fresh. Maybe it was because we went later in the afternoon. I would definitely recommend getting the jambon sandwich anytime but maybe the pastry earlier in the day. Jambon sandwich 6/5

Rochelle G.

Yelp
Hours say updated 3 months ago and they close at 7:30. I got there about 6:40 and the guy was just leaving saying that they closed at 6:30. Was really looking forward to trying place but most likely won't be back
google avatar

Gerard E.

Yelp
Extremely friendly staff and fast service. The baguette I purchased was perfectly made.Definitely will be visiting again! .
google avatar

Donna And Tristen H.

Yelp
I usually come in for the mini sandwiches which are pretty tasty, but it is not worth the terrible service. My mom and I were looking at the baked goods waiting to be helped. No one asked us anything. There were three people working the counter. Someone came in after us and they were helped right away. After he was done getting helped I asked to get one pastry. Mind you, I spoke in Viet so there was no language barrier whatsover. We were completely ignored and had to wait until someone else helped us. The guy that ignored us I think was the owner, he had dyed dirty ash hair. We will never come back again. Come here if you want to be treated like shit.
google avatar

Aleke K.

Yelp
Ordered two logs for the holidays and they were quite delicious. The quality of pastries and service is authentic.

Francoise S.

Yelp
This place has gone downhill bad. I've been coming here for 19 years to get their almond croissants and now the price keeps going up while the quality is unacceptable. The almond cream filling is so thin you can barely taste it. The layers aren't flakey at all and the taste isn't just elegant anymore. Before I would even take my French coworkers here to get some or advertise this place. Sadly no more. Don't get the almond croissants here. Super expensive and not worth it. Pls don't call yourself a French bakery and sell this. C'mon, you guys used to be better than this. What a shame.
google avatar

Quyen H.

Yelp
I have been coming to this bakery since forever! Awesome people working there and the pastries are always great. I always order their cakes for any occasions and they never let us down. Support small businesses!!
google avatar

Dee K.

Yelp
Used to be good , no longer . Probably not selling fast enough and have things spoiled still on shelf . Bought an eclair and the cream was sour , not good at all. The cashier wasn't friendly , kinda cold in servicing .
google avatar

Terri N.

Yelp
The quality has gone down drastically! It used to be much better. I ordered 3 jambon baguettes, 2 pâté chaud, 2 almond croissants and a plain baguette today for a total of $50. The jambon baguettes are so dry, no butter, no mayonnaise. Just one thin slice of meat and little slices of cornichon. Can't believe and it's $6.75 each! I won't come back!
google avatar

Suki F.

Yelp
I really don't want to give a bad review, especially during these times but my cakes were awful. I bought the opera and a pink cake and a oreo macaron. Opera cake was fine. The pink cake was inedible!! The top was gummy to the point where it was hard to cut with a fork. Sponge cake was hard and dry, and I couldn't tell what flavor cake it was... Like I couldn't even taste the cocoa that's probably in there because the cake is black. But worst of all was the macaron. $2.50 for a hard, shattery, stale, refrigerator tasting macaron. As you bite into it you can taste the fridge s aroma if that makes sense. I know there's probably fewer customers coming, but you have to give customers fresh products that's worth them paying for.

Anthony L.

Yelp
I have been coming to this bakery more than 12 years ago. I love the baguettes here more than other places and the viennoiserie is very authentic. Just like you would find in any bakery/patisserie in Paris
google avatar

Quyen B.

Yelp
This review is specifically for their housemade pâté, mayonnaise, and baguettes, freshly baked and still warm from the oven ($13 for the combo). Would go perfectly with some cha or other meats for a banh mi, or just enjoy on its own. The pâté has a savory garlic taste and paired well with the creamy mayo. I brought my parents here and they LOVED it. This perfect French-Vietnamese lunch brought back nostalgic memories of their childhood in Vietnam. Already can't wait to come back!
google avatar

John T.

Yelp
I could leave this at a 5 star just for having in house made Vietnamese style pate. it's made in house and has texture to it more like a rillette which for me is awesome. There is plenty of pastries there and the staff is super nice.
google avatar

M C.

Yelp
Was recommended to this bakery. But we felt it a tat over-rated at Parisian prices! Makes Porto's a great bargain with value, taste n variety.

Edna M.

Yelp
Been coming here for at least a decade, and today is the last time I'm putting up with their rude service. Came in at 4:30pm to pick up a couple baguettes. Didn't see any on the rack so asked one of the gals if there were any left. She replied, "How many do you want?!" in a tone that made me feel I was inconveniencing her. It's a cute place, and the food is great, but EVERY SINGLE GAL BEHIND THE COUNTER seems to be having a bad day. Buh-bye.
