The Red Velvet and Carrot Cake slices are my favorite from Boulder Baked. I preferred their other location in the Pearl Street Mall area but I appreciate the ease of parking with the parking lot. The person who took our order was very friendly. I honestly don't love the interior here- I didn't really understand the roll of brown paper on the wall with random drawings.

Unfortunately need to avoid moving forward. My delivery order didnt see my requests for no pickles on the sandwich - though it lets you request this. My sandwich had pickles. My brownie had a piece of paper looking thing baked into it. If I hadn't happened to split it in half before eating- i wouldn't have seen it. Now I dont have food and have to deal with Uber

The BEST baked goods I have ever had! The classic chocolate chip cookies are my go-to, but the cookie dough cupcake... PHENOMENAL!!! And while their sweet treats are the best in town, I'd also recommend checking out their soups & sandwiches too! They're definitely worth the visit any time I'm up in Boulder! 😁

Great local cookies. I liked that they use natural ingredients. They bake the cookies while you wait, so right out of the oven. I like that the cookies are not huge like some of the other chain cookie stores. Just the right amount! We will be back, every flavor we tried, we thought was great.

Cookies are fresh out of the oven and taste great and it's nice to have a variety to choose from. Tomato soup is really good, best I've found in town. Grilled cheese is really good as well, though close to what you can make at home. Would be better with sourdough bread or something like that to make it worth the cost. Don't order grilled onions for your grilled cheese though, they just put raw onions on it and not worth the 50 cents.

We ordered desserts from Boulder Baked for our wedding, and everything was amazing! The service was so friendly and kind — the man working was so genuine and conversational, which made the experience even better. The cupcakes were the best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend for any occasion or just a sweet treat!

As a person that eats GF and DF, I needed to check this place out while I was in town. I got a gluten-free and dairy-free chocolate cup cake with white frosting. My partner got a regular German chocolate cupcake. As we were checking out, we saw the cookies sign on the wall and asked about the GF/DF cookies. They needed to be baked so we waited 10 min for them. Got the gluten-free chocolate one and the gluten-free and dairy-free peanut butter ones. My partner ate his cupcake while we waited for the cookies. I took all mine home as the cookies were freshly baked and needed a few to cool down. I tried the cookies when we got home, and they had a weird flavor. I thought it was me and closed them up to try the next day. I tried them again the next day and still this odd flavor to them. I cannot put my finger on the flavor I just didn’t like it and disregarded both cookies. I asked my partner about his cupcake he said it was fine. I tried my cupcake, and I can tell you the cake itself was AMAZING! It had good flavor, was moist and all around yummy. But I can also tell you I hated the frosting; it tasted like it was made from Crisco and I promptly discarded it. I hate to do this when it is a small bakery, but I feel I must be honest. Parking was also difficult at night when a dance class was in session.

My wife and I stopped on two separate occasions to Boulder Baked for some wonderful cookies. She heard about this place and knew I would enjoy the fact that they are made to order. We were able to order and pickup these cookies about 10-15 minutes after ordering. Pro Tip: Wait 25-30 minutes before eating these cookies as most of these cookies will melt right in your hand if you try to eat them right when you get them. My favorite flavor was the Peanut Butter M&M while my wife loved the Red Velvet. These cookies are definitely delivered on taste and quality. I would highly recommend coming here for your sweet tooth fix.

Best Pumpkin pie I have ever tasted. I highly recommend Boulder Baked. I have had their cookies and sandwiches as well and have never been dissapointed

Walking in there is a coloring wall which I loved. There were 6 gluten free cookie options. They bake the cookies fresh after you order. The gluten free ones held together and did t fall apart. They were a bit granular in texture but I don't mind that.

Ok I'm just gonna be honest... this cookie place is pretty good! The cookies here make my day no matter what time of day it is. I went after work with my accountant coworkers and we ordered an 18 pack and man.... Did we smash them. When you first get in there they have a menu that is on the wall that you can choose from. Boulder Baked is like a Crumble Cookie, but with a lot more variety ! Another thing that I liked is that this place bakes your cookies to how you want them; such as soft or crispy around the edges. The service was ok, it was ran by a bunch of college students. They were blasting their music on and off and huddled around the ordering counter. Over all the cookies were very good, and I will be sure to pick up more!

OMG these cookies!!! We stopped by this adorable bakery for dessert and ordered a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie, peanut butter chocolate cupcake, and mint chocolate cookie - all were AMAZING! The peanut butter chocolate chip cookie in particular had a perfectly balanced peanut flavor and chocolate chips were on top of the cookie, giving it a chocolate forward profile. Each of our cookies was freshly baked and soft inside. Because they are freshly baked, the cookies took a few minutes to be ready, but service was overall quick. There are only a few seats inside this cozy shop, which wasn't a problem when we stopped in but I could see it being hard to find a seat if they are busy. Give it a try these cookies are worth it!!

Came here for dessert after having dinner nearby, and thought it'd be nice to try a few cookies since the aroma was amazing from outside. Plus, what other bakery makes their cookies to order?! I'll admit I was hopeful, but unfortunately, the cookies didn't meet my expectations. Personally, the flavors of the 2 cookies I tried weren't there for me, so I think I'll stick with making my own. Not to mention these were the smallest cookies I've ever gotten at a bakery--cute, but definitely not worth the price.

Run, don't walk here!! Holyyyy cow, this has got to make it on the list of top bakeries I've ever visited (which is quite a long list). They have an absolute plethora of options and then they freshly bake your cookies!!! At first I was a little confused how two cookies could take 10 minutes to get, but then I was served two steaming cookies fresh from the oven. What a game changer! I had the peanut butter m&m which was amazing and got the vegan gf chocolate chip cookie for my friends and they loved it. What a lovely sweet treat!

Ordered cupcakes for delivery for my daughter's birthday. The bakery charged my credit card and then lost the order. I had to call multiple times to get them to fulfill the order as placed. They said they delivered it two days earlier (not on the requested date) - although it was never received. When they did finally deliver, they did not indicate which cupcakes were gf vs regular. A hassle and disappointing customer service.

Their grilled cheese and tomato soup is worth coming here! Even though I came for cupcakes and cookies. Unbaked options so you can bake fresh at home. Excellent and I will visit often!

The cookies and cupcakes were good. You must factor in that they bake the cookies fresh. It felt a little tedious. People ordered after us and I think they waited to put ours in with theirs and it felt like a long time for someone who just wanted a fix for my sweet tooth. I had Choc pb cup, choc choc chip, maple pecan & red velvet. They were pretty tasty.

Freshly baked cookies. Long wait but tasty. I also like how they're crispy on the edge and soft in the middle. Place is small but comfortable and there are many items on the menu aside from cookies. Lots of easy parking.

I made an unusual request of Boulder Baked. There's a solar energy firm in Boulder that had failed to return my repeated contacts over the course of a year. I decided to get their attention by arranging for Boulder Baked to deliver a birthday cake to them with a note from me and with "One Year, No Hear" written on the cake. Within an hour of the cake's delivery, I was contacted and within four days I had a contract for the installation of the hardware I was trying to get. :) The birthday cake is, I'm told, now legendary throughout the solar firm. And the office staff reported that the cake was delicious, though they would prefer chocolate next time. ;) Everyone took it in good humor, and the endeavor was a great success.

Vegan options and tasty pastries and baked cookies, muffins! You'll pay for quality here.

Delicious, home baked cookies and baked goods. I have to stop anytime I'm in Boulder and grab at least a half dozen. My favorite is the Cinnamon Oatmeal Chocolate Chip. Omg.

I don't think we picked the right items... from watching other people order, the cookies are definitely their specialty. The moment you walk in the pleasant fresh-baked aroma overtakes you. They bake to order... so you get fresh goodness in 10 minutes. The NY Cheesecake was pretty close texture wise, but the flavor tasted more like cake batter than cheesecake and crust is sweet. A slight variation from traditional. The cupcake was dense and very sweet... felt like a lot of sugar, not a lot of cupcake taste. Staff is very friendly! Will be back to try the cookies.

COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! My grandsons Birthday was birthday-cake-free since the Strawberry "overpriced* Shortcake was frozen solid! While attempting to taste the overwhelming freezer burn taste dominated!!

Freshly baked, amazing, customizable cookies ready on demand in a town where weed is legal? How is this not the most popular place in all of Boulder. Pro tip. When you are sitting in a restaurant in town and about to go home, order a half dozen on your phone and swing by and enjoy hot cookies at home afterward. Divine, perfection, hot cookies.

I've only tried the cookies and cheesecake and it was divine! The cookies are always made fresh so expect a short wait while they pop it in the oven. You can also preorder if time is not on your side. The cheesecake was lovely. Not too sweet and the texture is just right. Hard to go wrong choosing one of the cheesecake options. I skipped out on the cupcakes today (Sunday). The baker comes in and bakes fresh cupcakes Monday to Friday. Definitely looking to give it a try next time when it's a week day.

The worst $3 brownie I've ever paid for- service was fine. Brownies are on the counter next to the register. I think a brownie is a good litmus test of good baking. I'm sorry to say there was too little chocolate and too much sugar.

I recently had cookies delivered to my daughter and her roommates on The Hill. There was an issue with delivery (some kind of animal got to them in the short time they were left on the porch!) and they promptly re-made the order and delivered again (with hand off to a person!) I was very pleased with their customer service and felt thry went above and beyond to make sure they fit the delivery the second time. And they said the cookies were delicious. Also appreciated that they had gluten free options. Will definitely use Boulder Baked again!

This cookie snob thought you'd never find a tastier cookie than Insomnia Cookie and boy was I wrong! This no frills bakery boasts baked-to-order cookies in some of the most delicious combinations (including vegan and gluten-free) you can imagine. The cookies can be purchased individually, sold as a four pack, half and full dozen, in a box of 9 (whaaat?), and 18 (called the Sweet 16). Cookie of the Month - November '19: Apple Cider Snickerdoodle We tried the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cup, Brown Butter Maple, and Mexican Chocolate. If you couldn't tell, I love all things chocolate and peanut butter, and those warm and gooey cookies did not disappoint, but I think overall my favorite was the Mexican Chocolate. It had the most unique flavor explosion, while the others tasted exactly as my taste buds expected them to. I look forward to returning and trying their other flavors like, oatmeal chocolate chip, oatmeal butterscotch walnut chocolate chip, sugar M&M, and funfetti. Not a cookie person? Boulder Baked also has perfected the cupcake with original and unique flavors like tiramisu, s'mores, apple pie, and hot fudge brownie. These can be purchased as regulars or minis. Looking for something bigger? How about a slice of one of their cakes! They have a dozen options including New York, Pumpkin, and black and white. You can buy a whole cake in 9", 7", and 4". They also have pies, ice cream and brownies, sundaes, milkshakes, and coffees. Don't have a sweet tooth? Boulder Baked also makes a variety of grilled cheeses, Mac and cheese, and soups. I highly highly highly recommend including Boulder Baked on your tour of Boulder.

This was a cozy and intimate stop after a elite event. The shop feels like a coffee shop but they bake cookies! We got a fresh cookie and two red velvet cupcakes. The cupcakes were delicious and the cream was a perfect mix to the rich cake. The cookie took a bit longer to come out but was very soft and chewy. The chocolate chips were savory and you could clearly tell it was homemade. I want to go and try the peanut butter next. The table next to us got a huge ice cream sundae! They have a ton of different food that sounded great.

BEST COOKIES EVER!! We initially ordered the chocolate chip and chocolate chip explosion cookie! They were both so good and we went back to buy another one. The owner was so nice and brought us 4 cookies with new flavors to try! They are all amazing and would recommend everyone to go!

I absolutely love this place! The people here are always so welcoming and kind. Their cookies are out of this world! Their cupcakes and cakes are delicious as well. I have gotten several cakes and desserts from Boulder Baked and I am never disappointed. Although, my favorite item, the cinnamon roll bread pudding has been MIA the last few times I've been in. I really hope they didn't get rid of it, because it is amazing! Great bakery and great people. Get a box of cookies to take home, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Alway super polite. I love everything here with the exception of the brownies - not that they are bad but I like mine a bit under done and gooey. I come here for every special occasion and some times just to get a quick 6 cookies to treat myself. Coffee is stellar too!

Oh man I LOVE this place! I think they're cupcakes, cookies, and Mac n cheese is to DIE for! Though I will admit I loveee sugar- the more the better! And for my boyfriend, he doesn't like sugar nearly as much as I do, so when it comes to both our preferred cupcake place, he'd rather have someplace that has cupcake's with a little less sugar. But I'll keep coming back here till they have to roll me through the door (because I've eaten too many of their delicious cupcakes ).

Good eatery well east of bustling Boulder proper. The venue has tables and seating indoors and outdoors and long hours, thus must have a crowd at some point. I was the only one there and ate in because of the rain and I was on bicycle heading to Lafayette.

I've never had a better vegan/GF cupcake than at Boulder Baked. Somehow nothing is cut--the cupcake isn't dry at all, and the flavor of the pumpkin spice cupcake is extremely rich too. Long wait time for the fresh cookie, but that was also amazing. Definitely check in if it becomes 20+ min.

Cake so soft, so moist, so perfect. This bakery is definitely something i make time for if i am visiting Boulder. Lots of different options from cupcakes, icecream, to freshly baked cookies! If i lived closer to this place i would come daily, its THAT good! Check them out if you got a sweet tooth :)

I've been here a few times since moving to town. First for the cookies and vegan cupcakes, then back again and again for their soup and sandwiches. This past weekend a friend and I came in late night for grilled cheese and tomato soup. It was quite busy which I hadn't suspected. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and the vibe was quite mellow and chill which surprised me considering the time and the proximity to the downtown bar scene. I was blown away at the perfection of the grilled cheese. Toasted to that golden brown, the texture ever so slightly challenging you as you bite down only to give way to ooey gooey cheese. The soup hot, thick, flavorful and delightful. I couldn't help but use the sandwich to ensure I got every last drop out of my bowl. I will most definitely be back for sweet treats and more warming flavorful food.

We've been coming here for years and love their cookies. We used to go on Pearl Street, but now use their East Boulder location. There is way easier parking, and the cookies are still same old greatness. Would absolutely recommend. We always get half baked cookies because they are still a little squishy and perfect when they're fresh. I've also tried their grilled cheese which is amazing.

Came here after a brunch where we probably drank a bit too much and didn't eat enough lol! So naturally we had to get grilled cheeses and cookies!! I had never seen a Mac and cheese grilled cheese and being in my state of probably not making the most healthy decisions I went with it! It was cheesy and as decadent as you would expect. I am glad I tried it and absolutely enjoyed it, but I would probably go with something a bit less...extravagant next time haha. The cookies were also bomb. They have a ton of options and all are baked fresh to order. How cool is that. I brought some home for my bf and they were throughly enjoyed!

These cookies are my second favorite in the world. They're made to order - so you pick your flavors and they bake them right there. They come out warm and delicious, packed with flavor. Staff is always helpful and efficient. YOU MUST GO TRY IF YOU'RE IN BOULDER!

Stopped in for some Gf vegan goodies. The snickerdoodle gf/v cupcake was outstanding!!!

I came across this store on Yelp and all the cakes/cookies looked so delicious that I couldn't pass this up, but ended up being pretty disappointed. The S'mores cupcake needed more marshmallows or graham crackers, it just tasted like a chocolate cupcake. The Oreo cheesecake as well could have used a little more Oreo flavor. The most disappointing thing was the coffee. I had asked for iced and it came out hot. They gladly made me another but the iced coffee was awful! It tasted like watery milk with no coffee flavor. My friends got some coffee as well and all agreed theirs wasn't great. My friend did say the vegan and gluten free cupcake was delicious and moist though!

BOMB. This spot is exceptionally unique and so fun! I mean who doesn't love fresh cookies and every flavor of grilled cheese imaginable?? Seriously you can chose your favorite cookie and they bake it fresh within a few minutes. And you think whoa, I don't want to wait for these things to be cooked fresh, that would take too long. Yes, smelling the fresh cookie smell wafting out while you wait in torture is rough, but they have thought of something great. Board games! Put your cellphone down and play an old school board game while you wait -- it's so fun! The staff is super friendly -- even late night (we arrived around midnight). I wish we had a spot in Seattle that did something this simply delicious and spot on.

A very small and intimate little place, if you're here to fulfill that sweet tooth craving then you've come to the right place! Aside from the bakery goodness, this place had a lot of cool board games. So this would be the perfect hangout after a long night out with friends. My only thing is that the place is pretty tight and I think the tables and chairs take up a lot of room in an already tight place. The service was great and I would definitely come again to try out their grilled cheeses!

Outstanding desserts! Helpful staff today, and I even came in during the last 15 minutes they were open. These days that says a lot! Keep it going - it's working out well!

Such an awesome little family owned bakery! Their gluten free, vegan cupcakes are to die for. Their cookies are so good, you might never leave. If you're missing Boston, they offer Sammies! With GF bread and DF cheese options to boot! While you're waiting for your freshly baked cookie to be ready, you can chill in a cozy booth or draw on the construction paper they always have hanging using crayons that are always waiting on the tables. So great!
