It is amazing what you will find if you only take the time to stop and look around you. We have lived in southern Nevada for many years now and recently discovered another hidden jewel in Boulder City. After finishing breakfast at the Coffee Shop Café, we decided to stroll over to this shop for a cup of coffee and a pastry. What a fantastic find we made in this cute little shop on the corner of Avenue B and Nevada Way. Inside this shop you will find the Grind, serving coffee, tea, associated other drinks and delectable pastries. There is also an Amazon pick-up box location, a small gift shop and located at the back of the shop is the Club Room bar. But what makes this place so different is the superb atmosphere they have created inside with the unique antiques of days gone by. They have cleverly designed the shop with an assortment of special “nooks & crannies” to sit and enjoy your drink, alone or with friends. The staff members are wonderful, cheerful and made us feel welcomed. There is some free street side parking with additional free parking to the rear of the shop. This is truly a one-of-a-kind shop, and we will definitely be coming back soon.

Coffee is worth the wait. Been coming to this place for over 3 years now. So that should say a lot. But Sundays are now part of the open mic community and with that said. Here is my input. The atmosphere is one in a million, with all that there is to look at and enjoy a cup of coffee this place is top notch, and with the new speakeasy the setting is even better. With excellent service. With the exception on speed of the coffee. Which I have come to love. The coffee is made and is definitely not your 5min Starbucks quality but much more worth the wait. The reason I even bring it up is because, it's the only complaint I have ever heard about this place. But with that said it's usually from the younger generation. This is definitely a pleasure to visit and see what they have to offer.

Google
Boulder City Co. Store is a great place for coffee or tea. I ordered Lavender Latte. It was heavenly. The inside decor takes you back in time and the music they play is outstanding. I will be coming back!

Google
They sell a delicious coffee and bear claw pastry, which tastes like heaven!!! Plus Kevan, the owner is the coolest person when explaining details of the history of how the city was formed!!! The store has a very unique interior design of its own plus it's like a mini museum. The perfect destination to stop in, enjoy a different atmosphere with friends or even work in the store for a while.

Google
Fantastic little coffee and bakery. They serve Peet's coffee if that matters to you. They have numerous options for coffee drinks and a good selection of donuts and other pastries. The apple fritter was very good! The seating inside is also very quaint and comfortable.

Google
A friend of mine & I were in Boulder City for a quick girls trip - ran into get coffee & then we just could not leave this store! It is absolutely adorable. Such cute items/clothing. Coffee & pastries also delicious & the service on both sides... Let's just say 5 stars is not enough. A must stop if you're in the area!!

Google
Cute Lil Spot. Coffee is nice, but pricey. Cute spot to hang out in back, couches and tables and music. I wish the pastries were homemade, instead of from another shop? I do enjoy PEET'S Coffee.

Google
I always go here when I'm in Boulder. They have good coffee, actually a nice selection of coffee, they have a dog friendly outdoor seating, and the store is very cozy. The store has bits and bobs of everything Boulder City brand. Doesn't matter if it's summer or winter, it's a nice cozy place with a good cup of coffee.

Yelp
What a cute coffee shop! Their lattes were amazing and staff was great. It's connected to a store which has some interesting wares and an old car inside! Very cool store with good coffee.

Yelp
During the Boulder City wine walk this place unveiled a unique attraction at the rear of their facility. You go all the way to the back of the store through a curtain and then you enter a door that leads to this little bar that features entertainment on certain nights. It was pretty cool and I will need to check this place out on a different night but o thought the info should be out there for other yelpers.

Yelp
Boulder City has some darling coffee shops in their little historic district, but one place I haven't had the chance to check out yet is Boulder City Co. Store, which is also a gift shop. I live in Henderson, but I went back to Boulder City over the weekend to watch my aunt and my grandma perform in the Song Keeper's Chorus...or so I thought I would. Turns out, right when I pulled into a parking space across from the shop, my dad informed me that my grandma wasn't feeling well enough to sing in the recital, but I still planned to get a quick cup of coffee here since I had just arrived in Boulder City. They have two entrances - one to their gift shop and one to their coffee shop, with plenty of seating in both areas plus an outdoor patio with more seating. Walking into their coffee shop, I was greeted by Natalie the barista, who was the only barista working there. Here, they are proud to serve Peet's Coffee in all the drinks they have. I ordered a small caramel macchiato, which came out in less than a minute since I was the only customer there. Other things that they have besides coffee are other food items, such as light snacks and pastries. As a first timer at this coffee shop, my caramel macchiato was pretty good and it was worth coming all the way here from Henderson just to check out a coffee shop that I've never been to before. Boulder City isn't a very far drive from my house (about 20ish minutes), so I wouldn't mind coming back here again to try out their other types of coffee and maybe buy a souvenir or two.

Yelp
Okay, so this review is for the speakeasy, "The Club Room" located at the back of the Boulder City Co Store. Great bar, great drinks, awesome ambiance! Ordered some espresso martinis to start and then just relaxed and caught up with friends, super local place with friendly service by the bartender Patch and nice music!
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
For a coffee shop you can find it all here, espresso shots, Pete's coffee lots of options for freshly baked goods multiple people to serve you so there is a line but it's not like you have to work. Wait on the one person to do everything of parking out front walking sidewalks to, the end around the small town a small store just adjacent that you can sit in with Wi-Fi free and plenty of seating areas inside and outside. Check it out. Nice clean bathroom in the back.

Yelp
stoppeed here on my way back home to Kingman from Vegas airport, arrived tired and thirsty. Best 'cafe au lait' I've had since living in France. Couldn't decide between two delicious looking donuts. Ordered both, so fresh and tasty. Why go to a chain when this place is so 'dam' good? Delightfully eclectic and inviting seating inside and out too.

Yelp
Love Love LOVE this place!!! This is an absolute MUST stop if you're at lake Mead, Vegas or anywhere near here! The customer service is incredible, the vibe is upbeat yet relaxed and the products they offer (foods, beverages, clothing, jewelry, etc) are all fantabulous!!! Super dog friendly with a huge water bowl outside and local pups that visit with their humans. I went twice a day from camping down in lake mead just because we enjoyed the atmosphere.

Yelp
Really nice cafe and gift store in Boulder City, NV. Only about 30mins from Las Vegas. Specialty gift shop has really nice items. And coffee cafe is very nice. Interior is very classy yet rustic. Love the decor and design. Nice customer service.

Yelp
OMG. I could move to Boulder for this shop. The coffee is good.(they use Peet's) the pastries are delicious. It has a very retro vibe. But the best thing is the people. The baristas are amazing and nice. Even more the locals in the shop are welcoming and fun to talk to. If you are anywhere near Boulder NV make it a point to stop. Oh and there is a cute boutique attached and it is extremely dog friendly.

Yelp
Cozy little coffee shop here in Boulder City, they have a good variety of pastries, donuts, and quiche. When I first walked in the ladies working the counter greeted me immediately with a Good morning and a smile. I looked over their list of different flavored beverages and decided to make my own, kind of boring, but delicious in my opinion, I ordered an iced latte with Vanilla and hazelnut and while I was there decided to try their turkey and jalapeño quiche since my stomach was rumbling. The quiche and iced latte hit the spot, the ratio of turkey and jalapeños were perfect, and the spice was right on point to what I needed to wake me up this morning.

Yelp
We came today, Thursday morning, around 8am for a coffee and a late breakfast. They serve Pete's coffee and we got a mocha. We also tried the vegetable quiche and a blueberry muffin. The quiche is not a typical quiche, but is very moist and cheesy. We liked it. There were a lot of bell peppers in the vegetable quiche which are not my favorite. We will try the ham and cheese next time. The blueberry muffin had a really nice flavor to it. The staff was nice and very friendly. We would definitely come here again for a light breakfast.

Yelp
Great coffee before a kayak at the Dam! Cute little local items shop inside as well. We would definitely come back next time we are near Vegas!

Yelp
A coffee place in BC that's perfect to hang out with friends and coffee and treats. It has Peet's !!! My favorite !!! Its always a buzz but that's good because when you have such a good time that you laugh with your friends a little too much you just blend rite in!!! love this place and it's great family vibe !

Yelp
Good food and coffee very friendly staff. Now opened on weekends for drinks it's perfect.

Yelp
Good pastries and coffee. Cute spot, nice indoor/outdoor area but just a bit pricey. This could be my daily morning coffee stop but It's just a bit too much on the price. If you're visiting and want a good iced coffee (or otherwise) and a quiche or pastry- stop here. 4 stars for the pricing. Everything else is spot on.

Jim B.

Yelp
Great coffee and breakfast goodies! Around back there's a Speakeasy made in the historic style of the 30s, when this place WAS the business! Treat yourself and go here.

Yelp
A Coffee a Day Keeps the Doctor Café This place is actually two separate stores, with one side being a souvenir/gift shop and the other being a coffee/pastry shop. We only stopped by in the early morning on the way to Hoover Dam to grab some coffee for the road. The Good: *Dirty Pumpkin Chai Latte was fu**ing fantastic! Tasted almost like a liquid pumpkin pie but not the cloyingly sweet kind. The kind that's just the right mix of spices and where you can actually taste the pumpkin. *Didn't try any but the pastries looked amazing. *Great location in DT Boulder City *Serve Peet's Coffee® The Meh: *Gift shop area doesn't open at the same time as the coffee shop, which is fine but just wish we could've checked out the rest of the store. The Ugly: *All the customers walking in were masked-up but the two employees (owners?) behind the counter were not--which is kinda the opposite of what it normally is at most businesses. I guess they're mask mandate at the time was merely a "suggestion," and not a directive. TLDR: Mask or no mask, they still make a delicious cup o' Joe.

Yelp
Part gift shop, part coffee shop, super cute all around. Family-owned gift shop is well decorated with clothing and souvenir items to purchase. The women's area in particular had a good selection of sizes and appeared tobe good quality. Head the back for a small children's area. Love how they've preserved the building and the old-school vibes of the place, the window displays really drew me in. They have a truck inside as part of both the decor and clothing display, which was a cool touch. Grab a drink in the adjacent cafe and snag a patio seat when you're done browsing.

Victoria B.

Yelp
This place was adorable, kind, and the coffee was amazing. The real star of the show was the cinnamon roll!

Diana E.

Yelp
Grab a coffee, play a game with the little ones, shop some quality merchandise. Love this store!
google avatar

Jaclyn T.

Yelp
Adorable shop with Pete's coffee shop attached! I stop by every time I go to Boulder. I get my usual Cinnamon Roll Latte and browse the latest items in the shop. They have music boxes, notepads, neck gaiters and clothing. I love that the walls have concrete that was used as part of the dam construction. You can also lounge in the many seating areas setup around the shop and there is some outdoor seating as well. In the coffee shop you can also decorate a mason jar lid and have it attached to the wall. See pictures.

Yelp
Tried out this little place on a whim. Had a turkey and jalapeño mini quiche. Unfortunately, the crust was not baked and was gooey and not very appetizing. Looking once I cut it open. They did forget my coffee order and I had to remind them.
google avatar

Yelp
Our very first stop in Boulder City. Found 2 patches that really caught the essence of the place and made for great souvenirs! After the purchase, we got a free history lesson about the coins used to pay the workers when the Hoover Dam was built.
google avatar

Yelp
Great customer service even 20 minutes until closing. The only reason I didn't read it five stars is there. Bakery selection was limited at 3 PM and the cabinet was emptied almond milk latte excellent.

Barbara D.

Yelp
good customer service. The clerk was very friendly and talkative. Very refreshing. The donut was fresh and the atmosphere was Homey

Yelp
Curiosity brought me to Historic Boulder City. The Boulder City Co. Store caught my attention. Just had to checkout this cute store & cafe! This store/cafe not only sells antiques and souvenirs & serves great coffee drinks, it has quick a history of Boulder City! Very interesting shop! Met the owner and she told us about the cities history and some old family stories. Her family is one of the original families from the days when Boulder Dam (Named changed to Hoover Dam in 1947) was being built. Charming shop/cafe!

Gloria M.

Yelp
My girlfriends and I meet at the Company store for coffee and of course a few pastries. Love shopping for new items and there is a very relaxing atmosphere. Coffee is great too.

Tamara H.

Yelp
Very friendly staff! Fast service and a nice place to chill . Wish they offered more Boulder City merchandise.
google avatar

Joe F.

Yelp
Great spot for coffee and conversation. Try some of their donuts while you're there. I love their fritters. With seating inside and outside, you'll find a great atmosphere to unwind and read, study, or enjoy the company of a friend. Their light roast coffee is very smooth.

Yelp
While visiting family in town, my wife and I stopped by for some coffee here. She got a Lavender latte, and I got a blended mocha frappe, 32oz. Very tasty. Pricey, but good. Want to come back here again. This business does know what it's doing. Keep getting better.

Ron M.

Yelp
Trinket shopping with coffee! The owner Tara is alway there and willing to help. Make it a stop while participating in the Boulder City wine walk or go any other time.

Yelp
What a great coffee shop. So many delicious pastries. Such a cute and homey atmosphere. The service was amazing

Yelp
Mood- exploring Upon entering we were greeted with wonderful customer service. We were asked if we had any questions regarding the drink menu. Of course we did, dairy substitutions and such. The lady that rang us up was new, but her trainer was right there answering everything and helping her. We opted for Hollyhock refresher, Lavender Tea Latte, and a Lemonade. Everything hit the spot and was wonderfully made. As we strolled around the store we met the owner and he told us some stories about the store and some items that have procured. Everyone was just really friendly. We never felt rushed at all. There are couches and small table arrangements for you to sit at to just chill and relax. My highlight was that 1928 Desoto. You don't get to see one of those everyday and truly not up close and personal. Would thoroughly recommend - pricing is reasonable. And it adds to the Downtown Flair of Boulder City. Location is Boulder City - ample parking, on streets

Yelp
This is my favorite place in all of Boulder City! This super cute coffee shop and store just opened a year or two ago and it's downtown on the Main Street. It's like a little coffee shop with a store connected to it so you can peruse the shirts/hats/stickers/souvenirs while you wait for or drink your coffee! I've met the owner and she is a very sweet lady with a big heart. It is evident through the aesthetic and atmosphere at the store that she has a passion for sharing the history and beauty of Boulder City with locals and visitors alike. I really enjoyed my visit and I would recommend this place to anyone in Boulder City who wants good vibes, a cute souvenir or a delicious cup of coffee!
google avatar

Yelp
the coffee is okay here, they brew peets and use milk that tasted decent. avoid the avocado toast at all costs... like yea the cost was the cheapest avocado toast i've ever seen, around 5 dollars? to a los angeles girl, that is strange and wonderful. but the toast was strange and terrible. firstly, they use not real avocados but a paste that probably came from a bag.. i know this because i took an agriculture class in college and did a presentation on avocados lol. to make it worse, they drizzle an obscene amount of balsamic glaze over it which makes it taste like a vinegar salt mine. the bread was ok, just an average sourdough. whoever owns and manages this place and the menu needs to visit los angeles, home of the avocado toast, and change up the recipe. my friend and i both felt remorseful ordering the toast because the croissants and other things looked better, and we just tossed the avo toast in the trash...

Yelp
This coffee shop has such a beautiful character to it. The design is beautiful and really well thought out. There is wood tables outside. But with many different types of tables like high tops. Low tables for 4 or more and even 2 seater tables. Sitting outside in the 70 degrees weather with a beautiful light breeze couldn't have made my experience any better. The inside is perfect for anyone needing to do work with many outlets near every table For food I got the turkey croissant and it is wonderfully flaky and buttery. I got it warmed and will definitely be back to another! I also got a coffee, I mean obviously it is a coffee shop. I did the vanilla ice latte with half as many vanilla pumps as I didn't want it to sweet. It was perfect. The staff was very sweet and helpful. Right when I walked in I felt welcome to the establishment. This is the kind of place that would remember you and make you feel like family.

Yelp
Advertises donuts and quiche and none offered at 2pm on a Saturday. Very disappointing.
google avatar

Yelp
I went there for the first time today. I had the tropical iced tea and a warm Apple fritter. It was so good I ate it before I could take a picture. The staff was very friendly. The atmosphere is relaxing and rustic with very comfortable seating inside and out. I will definitely go back
google avatar

Yelp
Cute overload!!! So cute this is the original Boulder City store from 1931- I like to sit and sip a coffee in there n look at the old building n go shopping in the cute store. I got some super cute things and I go there once a week for a green matcha latte and they are way better than the chain store matchas. My husband and I are some pastries here one morning and they were so good too.
google avatar

Yelp
Love this coffee shop. The service is quick and curious! The coffee is very fresh and consistent! Staff is light hearted and polite! It has a nice atmosphere! They deserve six stars!

Yelp
Everybody is so friendly here - staff and customers a like. As a 20 year resident in Boulder City, I really yearned for a wonderful coffee shop just like this. The outdoor seating is especially pleasant in the little side street. Not too much traffic, and always a place where you can bump into old friends, or even chat with someone new. This has become a real treasure of the community.

Yelp
Recently I wrote a kind yet honest review regarding a not so hot latte and runny eggs. It was met with rudeness and scorn from Tara B. W absolutely did not asked the luke warm latte be microwaved. The employees did that on their own accord. I was hoping they'd fix it properly. They did not, hence this review. And yes, eggs were runny. I think I know the difference between runny egg and moisture. Most importantly there's no need to recommend we go elsewhere as we haven't been back. I wrote an honest review and was actually quite kind about the deficiencies, yet you chose the low road.

Yelp
--- Reply to OWNER You are mistaken. I live IN Boulder City and told you so when we entered, more than once actually. We likely know the same people in town. I went in with my adult daughter as we were out alone for the first time in a while to get coffee and chat. We were expecting you to live up to the hype --- instead we got was rudeness and bad coffee. I was embarrassed for my little town and you. Boulder City deserves better than insecure business owner's toting weapons while serving customers without masks and then making up stories when they get a bad review. You forgot to mention I left you an awesome tip - more than the coffee costs, in fact. Just who do you expect to use that gun on in our safe sleepily little town? Yeah, we know who. Not very friendly/welcoming of you. You will wear guns but not masks? What does that say to your customer- do you even care? You don't really care about our community or you would wear masks like the science directs. - your coffee is weak - you were extremely rude - you got both orders wrong and we had toss, no one asked for almond milk. . I hope your very unfriendly business model works out for you. Original Post: Beware Owners not wearing masks Owner packing firearm in full view No espresso machine-shots come from a box-yuk Got both orders wrong . Poor coffee brewing- weak See-through ice coffee WE DID NOT FEEL SAFE IN THIS STORE BEWARE I'm local and it was my first visit. I will never go back. Common decency in short supply. I'm disgusted.

April K.

Yelp
I visited here twice on my short visit. The chai latte was amazing and the food was great! make sure to get there early so you have a great selection of fresh baked goods. The veggie quiche was delightful, and the customer service outstanding.

Yelp
First time coming here. Excellent service. The hot chocolate is on point. Definitely coming back when I am at Boulder City

Yelp
I can't believe this wasn't posted then....I went to this place when it first opened up and I got hooked, I love the family story, love what they do, how they work hard, owner at the time was on a mission somewhere in the world, mom was holding down the fort, dad was helping with building the store, it's a little cafe, it's a little souvenir store, it's a specialized clothing store.... AND... the food is great! I have been back almost every week!
google avatar

Melinda M.

Yelp
Let me start off with mentioning that I really wanted to like this place.... in fact, I held off on writing a review for months in hopes that they would improve. Unfortunately, I shouldn't have to work harder than the barista to make a quality coffee. I've been to Boulder City Company Store 3 times since they have opened. The first time was right after the grand opening... staff was just learning recipes and they hadn't worked out all the kinks on where people should pay versus where to pick up food. I wasn't impressed but figured that they just needed to find their groove. The second time I visited I noticed that the did seem more organized and things were running smoother, but the coffee was still not right. My gingerbread latte was much too sweet while my partner's drink was flavorless. We mixed the two drinks together and had a satisfactory drink. Today I order an ice blended coffee and I'm not sure what I got instead. I was pretty irritated so my partner asked them to re-do my drink. Staff was pleasant enough and did make me a new drink, but it still came out horrible! This place has so much potential. The adjacent shop is super cute and a great place to sit and have a cup of coffee and some pastries.... just make sure you bring your own coffee because they sure don't know how to brew a cup!

Terri T.

Yelp
We ordered 2 large lattes w oatmilk. (80c upcharge) a veggie quiche and a bluberry danish. Danish was excellent, quiche was so-so. Quiche has a bit of runny uncooked egg and was average. One of the lattes wasn't hot barely warm. So we took it back they did additional steaming but it still wasn't hot so then they microwaved it. Total was $20 and we left a $5.56 tip (25%) so...
