Newer, independently run spot emphasizing value, speedy takeout, and vegan options. Its Alcove on Arapahoe location makes it a handy East Boulder pick for dependable pad thai, panang, and wok-fried standards.

Google
I loved this spot for fresh Thai! We had drunken noodles w/ tofu, pad Thai with chicken, tom yum soup, and pot stickers and everything was served hot, fresh, and with friendly service. We even forgot our card in the folder and the manager ran out in the freezing cold to hand deliver it to our car. The place needs music and lacks a little in vibe (tvs everywhere and brightly lit) but overall great, quick, and relatively cheap Thai meal! Would be great if you wanted to watch a game while eating. Highly recommend!

Google
The food not good, we were waiting for one hour for the food the reason was the restaurant had food inspection not our problem they should give us information or complimentary for waiting to long , the toilet also dirty, don’t go here, there are other Thailand restaurants better in boulder

Google
The best Thai food we've ever eaten (and we eat Thai a lot). Everything was incredible and we heard other tables exclaiming the same. Surprisingly beautiful elegant and calm atmosphere and staff are sweet and seem like a family from their native country. Definitely not overpriced either- cheaper and better than more casual and currently more popular joints. Loved either mocktail options too. It's our new favorite, undiscovered spot.

First time eating here. Came for lunch. Service is ok. Decore is nice. We ordered: Combo Appetizer $15.95 Combination of Chicken Satay (2), Crispy Parcel (2), Spring Rolls (2) & Fried Shrimp (2) with sauces. Would only recommend the spring rolls. The chicken is very dry, and everything else is mediocre Drunken Noodle(Kee Mao Ва Me) $13.95 with Beef add $1.00 this dish is ok 1 Green Curry $13.95 with Shrimp add $2.00 this dish is good but the spice level is not as spicy as green curry normally is even though we had them add more spice at the table. 1 Basil Fried Rice with chicken $13.95 this dish is good. Ok place if you want something quick and good value for the price

Google
Welcoming staff, fresh and tasty food. I had fresh rolls. The lettuce was crisp, the roll was fresh and flavorful. Thank you I'll be back.

Google
Ordered the pineapple fried rice and basil fried rice. They were okay.. lacked some flavor. The pineapple rice only had 3 pieces of pineapple in it. Can't say I'll be coming back, but overall experience was ok.

Google
It's just frustrating to spend over $60 for three meals to find all the protein overcooked and not very fresh. I can smell chicken after it's cooked and still tell it was -not fresh I will say to be polite. I can't eat that, I am super sensitive to it. I love supporting local, just please don't make us sick Please

Google
We came here because of the high reviews and "fresh" in the name. We are from Seattle and eat Thai a lot and have never been truly disappointed...this was a first. There was nothing fresh about it. The potatoes in the Massaman Curry were mushy and tasted like fry oil. The Pineapple Fried Rice was light on yellow curry but heavy on spice, and I had ordered it mild. The cashews were also mushy, like they'd been sitting in a big pot of it all day. We actually sent back the Thai iced tea because it was so weak (and didn't even have any ice). Maybe it was off night? Or maybe we should have ordered the Drunken Noodle like everyone is raving about.

Yelp
amazing food and quality service. The waiter frequently checked on us and the veggies were crisp and delicious. would absolutely return again

Yelp
Popped in for lunch on a Saturday and was delighted to find flavorful, fresh food. We started with the Vietnamese fresh spring rolls with shrimp, which were perfectly crunchy, and the fried spring rolls, ostensibly Thai rather than Vietnamese, as the menu also lists fried Vietnamese egg rolls. (Frankly, this part of the menu was a little confusing and could have used an editor.) Whatever they were, the fried rolls were very nice, crispy without being overly-greasy. We moved on to chicken potstickers, which were nicely flavored and lightly fried, and then shared an order of pineapple fried rice. The fried rice was the star of our lunch; we ordered it "mild" and it was, but the flavors of the individual ingredients came through. Service was prompt, friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was pleasant, particularly for a strip center restaurant, with soft music playing in the background (My husband wasn't a fan of what he called the "massage soundtrack"...but it didn't bother me.) I'm looking forward to trying some more of the main dishes soon, particularly the curries and the pad Thai. And the soups, and, and.... Our only criticism (hence the 4 stars) is that the restaurant has no liquor license. Maybe that will change? Regardless, we'll be back soon.

Yelp
Medium is quite hot, be forewarned! Loved the pad thai vegan. Good atmosphere and temperature while not too loud. Quite lovely wait staff. I think the owner is the chef, but maybe I misunderstood so a high investment in quality.

Yelp
Came here on Labor Day and ordered the fresh rolls with shrimp and vegetable for appetizer and drunken noodle medium hot with pork. The food was fantastic and service was great. The fresh rolls with peanut sauce was delicious and I traded rolls with a friend who got the spring rolls. Spring rolls were also tasty. The drunken noodle came out steaming hot along with everyone else's entrees. The medium heat was no joke and very tasty. I would definitely come back next time I am in town.

Yelp
For me, this spot stands out from the dozens of other "Thai" restaurants in the Boulder-Louisville-Westinster area. It's actually more pan-Asian (with several Vietnamese and Chinese dishes). Exceptionally good fried spring rolls--vegetables inside are freshly chopped and sautéed and you can really taste the difference (my mom made these for us growing up, so this is my go-to "Asian restaurant test dish"). Unless you get these dining in, like all fried takeout, they'll likely be soggy. I've tried all the curries, the spicy wing appetizers, and the drunken noodles--all superb. Per the owner, all spices are hand ground and herbs are fresh. From the kitchen, you can hear the staff constantly chopping, so I suspect this is true. Note: their "medium" spice level is just a bit hotter than other Asian restaurants. BTW, this is a good dine-in option if you're trying to avoid crowds: a big dining area albeit with not much ambience and never packed (they do mostly takeout).

Yelp
Some of the most bland Thai food I've ever had. Not a hint of fish sauce, shrimp or even salt on the papaya salad. Even asked for spicy, but just received lifeless attempt at this classic Thai appetizer. Not much stimulation from the pot stickers either. Green curry was creamy and a bit fuller with some flavor profile, but again, ordered Thai spicy and never broke a sweat or even needed a tissue for my nose. Would probably truly rate this place 2 stars for this food that I received. I would so love for this place to be wonderful, or even a reasonable attempt at authentic. Still searching..

Yelp
I was skeptical when this place popped up because I was a big fan of Doug's and was disappointed when they moved elsewhere, but loving Thai food and the proximity finally won out and lemme tell you... this place does not disappoint. Their take out service is a little wonky (hence the 4 starts), but the food is worth the wait. Lightly curried pineapple fried rice, perfectly crisp pot stickers, nuanced and richly flavored pad see ew... I cannot imagine a bad dish being served here. They truly deserve more business and I hope this review sends a few more people their way. Don't miss out on this place.

Yelp
For dinner, we tried the Pad See Ewe with chicken (which was just ok) and the Cashew Nut Dish with beef (which was quite delicious). Spice level was great. I wouldn't get the noodles again, but the stir fry was excellent. Total after tax was $38. I'll be interested to come back and try their curry next time. The owners are a friendly family from Nepal.

Yelp
We had a lot of things from egg rolls, wanton, dumplings, to lomein noodles, orange curry, and a different kind of noodle dish, with Thai tea! Food was absolutely amazing! We are not even from here, we are from Texas! The Thai tea was perfect wasn't too sweet! Customer service was amazing! Would highly recommend!!

Yelp
I just ordered from here and it was incredibly disappointing food. The pad Thai was tasteless. Can't figure out why the reading was so high. I think that they spend a lot of time managing their on line reviews and most of the good ones are fake and the bad ones get removed.

Yelp
Just spent $40 on two basic takeout items. Wow, don't know what to say. Maybe they just had a bad day. Mushy veggies, 80-percent carrots and zucchini, was the biggest disappointment. Anyway, for $20, would just let it go, but . . .

Yelp
I love Drunken Noodles (usually Pad Kee Mao but their name is slightly different, don't remember it exactly) and this was excellent! The shrimp were slightly overcooked but the hotness was perfect and everything else was the yummy blend of flavors and textures that I love. I managed a high rise by San Diego State University and my Thai residents explained that they're called "noodles drunkards eat" because they are a favorite of late-night bar patrons who hit the noodle carts after closing down the bars. I just know I love them and I'll be ordering them when I'm back in Boulder!

Yelp
Great food and service. Particularly liked the red curry and drunken noodles. Got everything medium which was nice amount of heat.

Yelp
Absolutely awful. spent $26 to have Thai Coconut Curry delivered. so looking forward and it was inedible so full of sour vinegar with no other flavor. Horrible. Never again. Tried to call to lodge complaint and they kept thinking I wanted to place and orde.

Yelp
We had the Asian veggie dumplings and the Jambo Noodle. Both dishes were a treat and yummy. And our server, Sabi, helped make our experience a total delight! From Tim & Paula.

Yelp
This is the best Thai place in Boulder. Prices are mostly in line with comparable Thai restaurants, flavors are great (it's Boulder, you need to keep expectations in line with that), and the portion sizes are good. So refreshing that they use the right noodles for wide rice noodle dishes (like drunken noodles). If you order takeout online through their website, they have a pretty decent rewards system. Highly recommend this place. Only real downside is sometimes they are so busy, you will wait 20+ minutes just to say "hi I'm here to pick up an order". No exaggeration. Hire more staff.

Yelp
I don't understand all the good reviews for this place. We went there recently to try it out, and despite there being only two other tables occupied, it took about 25 minutes to get our appetizers and another 15 to get the main course. The shrimp were tough and dry and must have died of old age; the peanut sauce was watery, the chicken satay was 1" thick and the service was terrible. The waitress spent her time in the lobby yakking with somebody. We won't be going back.

Yelp
I think this is pretty basic. A lot of salt. Think chain restaurant Chinese food, but Thai. Don't get me wrong everything is delicious, but I definitely felt like crap the next day. I recommend this if you want Thai comfort food. I don't recommend this to athletes or anyone with a really physical job.

Yelp
My buddy told me before going this is the best Thai ever... OMG it's unbelievable, sweet, salty , spicy the drunken noodles is / was what everyone is writing about but the green curry was top notch!

Mark K.

Yelp
Great Thai food - best in Boulder. Excellent service always happy to help out with special orders.

Yelp
Delicious Thai food in a quiet comfortable atmosphere. Great place to check out! Thanks

Christine H.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place. It is conveniently located, super close to my house and I love Thai food (favorites are Aloy Thai and Busaba). Unfortunately we had a really disappointing experience. We came in on a quiet weekend night when there were just a couple of people waiting for takeout orders and only one other person in the dining room. The biggest disappointment was the calamari - for $10, it was six (6) small fried rings, each a very tiny bite. It was priced higher than sashimi would be for an equivalent amount of food! It was just absurd and not a great way to start off the meal- I wish I had taken a picture! In the time before our other food arrived, there was a very loud, long argument between two people in the kitchen - it was uncomfortable to sit near. When the rest of our food arrived, the tom kha gai soup was extremely tomato-ey and had a lot of onions compared to all the other ingredients. It definitely tasted like it had a tomato soup base, which seemed strange. The drunken noodles were the only great thing about the meal, they were very tasty and well prepared. It was definitely a disappointing experience - and don't get the calamari unless you want to spend $10 on six quarter-sized fried morsels!

Yelp
My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience. We had chicken drunken noodle and green curry with chicken. Both were delicious. We tried several Thai restaurants in Boulder. This place is one of the best Thai restaurants in town. It's clean. The staff was friendly. I strongly recommend this place to try.

Robin C.

Yelp
Attractive peaceful restaurant with authentic, delicious Thai cuisine. The green curry was yummy and appropriately spicy. Service was attentive and pleasant.

Yelp
Great food, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was clean and bright. We are from out of town, but would definitely recommend and come back again!

Tina P.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food. I had the drunken noodle and it was awesome. My brother in law was with me, and he is a mega-foodie whose favorite food is Thai, and he said the green curry was one of the best thai curries he's ever had. We got our food to-go so I can't say much about the facilities but the food was incredible.

Ellie W.

Yelp
Such a great spot! The food was so fresh and flavorful. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. My new favorite Thai restaurant in boulder.
