"This self-pour taproom and bistro is situated next to Dyno Detroit Climbing and features 21 drafts on on tap that are prominently displayed on a wall. Visitors can create their own beer flights to get a sampling of the spot’s brews. Nosh on Roman-style pizza, sandwiches, and shareable appetizers, or stop by after the gym and grab a smoothie." - Serena Maria Daniels

Love the self-pour concept, as you can try out drinks without a large glass commitment. Both the peach cider and shandy I tried were fantastic. Pizza was also really good and the menu had plenty of vegetarian and healthy options. Service was friendly, but still working out the kinks (which is expected). Overall, I'm just glad this is here. Now that Dyno has booze and food next door, there is no reason for me to ever go home.

Nice spot. Came here after bouldering at DYNO climb. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and good food. What more could you want. Come by and support these establishments in the budding Eastern Market District

The self-pour beer taps are a cool idea. They had a decent selection of beers on tap. The food was ok for the price. The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, they were struggling to keep up. The front of the house staff were overwhelmed and very slow to respond, and the kitchen was backed up. We were there for 2 hours just to get appetizers. Fortunately we weren't in a rush. I get the impression they are pretty new. Hopefully they can streamline things.

LOVE this place for an Eastern Market pre-game! Super friendly folks make it great, and the food was good too. Nice big covered lanai to sit on in nice weather. Plus they have an ingenious system that lets you pour your own beer so you can sample as many different kinds as you like. I don’t drink myself, but the member of our party who does loved the beer and being able to sample a bunch of different kinds.

Came here after climbing one day. Loved the chill atmosphere. The arugula pizza was so good. The chili cheese fries made me feel sick. The bratwurst was overly cooked. Really chewy. My friend and I had to ask them to take those back. $65 spent on mid food makes me feel ill… The pizza and canned beverages are the only thing I’d have if I came back. The pour your own beer adds up quickly cost wise. Don’t think it’s worth it imo. Paying $1-$2 for a taste of a beer is wild. The staff is so friendly! The manager was very kind. I’ll come back for them but I’m staying away from the food.

Loving the PYOB concept but i think they should all be happy-hour priced. The salad was great. The roasted peas & beans were OK, definitely comes with enough to share. I do appreciate that they have healthy options like smoothies. The woman working was so nice and helpful

Truly a 5+ star experience. I arrived after dodging the craziness of downtown at about 11:30am on a Friday, I called in advance to see if they were open and they were so polite over the phone so I headed over. The service was incredible, I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!! So kind, learned my name, explained the whole process, asked if my seat was okay to watch the game/do my work as I was working remotely. Even when my hotspot stopped working they went and got me the wifi password on a post it for all my devices. Truly stellar customer service all around from both servers/hostesses I interacted with!!! I got the pretzel bites, which were divine, and 2 of their PYOB (pour your own beers) which totaled out to $17! I’m from NYC so two drinks and a snack for $17 is a STEAL. Will definitely be suggesting and stopping back whenever I am in town!! Thank you all at Boulders so much!!

Yelp
We were in Eastern Market for an event and also had a coupon for a free pizza here. So it made sense to check it out! It is located in what seemed like a deserter road. Walking from Eastern Market in heels wasn't the best idea. Lol. We took an Uber back. For the record, it's only a 10 min walk and had I been in flats it wouldn't have been an issue. They had a graduation party when we arrived and j was a tad nervous that they would ignore us. That wasn't the case in any way. I will start with the ambiance first. They have a rock climbing center attached to them. That's not really my thing. But I would think this would be a super fun date if it is your thing. There was a separate area that could be closed for an event or opened to the outdoors. There was plenty of parking. They have this self serve beer tap area. You can either have the servers get your beer or you can do it yourself. It's fun to do yourself. They also had wine and canned drinks available. We wanted to go with a unique pizza and decided to try the lamb and hummus pizza. I'm not sure what was going on with it, but neither of us liked it. I never send food back and since it was free they seemed particularly bad. But we aren't able to eat it. The server recognized this right away. Management was there in a flash and wanted to remedy that. We decided to go with traditional pepperoni and it was perfect!!! We really enjoyed it. Honestly, the service was superb. We would absolutely come back! Very impressed.

Yelp
New hot spot for beer, food and social gathering in Detroit. This seems to be the newest experience in the beer world hitting Metro Detroit. Why try one brewery when you can tap it like it's hot!!! Boulders offers 21 taps offering fantastic options from beer to ciders. They also have food from simple apps to Pinsas, another name for Roman style pizza on sourdough. Very cool spot located in the same building as Dyno, the Detroit Rock Climbing facility. Maybe I'll have a little courage to do some rock climbing after a few more beers!! Haha

Boulder's Bistro & Brew is the perfect spot to unwind after a session at the climbing gym next door. The friendly staff, along with their fantastic smoothies, create a refreshing and relaxing atmosphere. It's an excellent place to refuel and recharge while enjoying the convenience of its location

Yelp
Maybe the vibe was off because we went close to the kitchen closing. Which was odd for a Saturday around 7. The beer was fine. The appetizers were fair at best. Not a place I to which I would return.

Yelp
Never seem to be open. No one answers the phone. I'm here now on a Sunday at 11:40 and the place is closed and locked up.

Yelp
Great find for us heading down to Eastern Market. We stopped in for a beer. Great place to sit on the deck and people watch! All of the people that worked there were super friendly and helpful! They even have the most delicious corn nuts to munch on with your beer. It is a self service beer system that you can try as many as you'd like. You pay by the ounce so it's a great way to figure out what kind you'd enjoy. We didn't eat the food but will definitely be back another time as the menu looked like a variety of interesting options. Check it out!

Yelp
The atmosphere is great! Such a nice, clean place. Food is awesome, and the self pour beer wall is perfect! The staff was also wonderful!
