Just Crack’N opens soon at the Boulevard Mall with Cajun and Creole dishes | Eater Vegas

"Once a difficult location for ambitious dining projects, the Boulevard Mall has landed a second casual option after the summer closures of ChiAm Dim Sum and Mamma Olivia, signaling renewed activity as new tenants move in." - Bradley Martin

It's a decent mall with decent stores and a movie theater. If you like either the bad smells/odors or the bad smell of weed, then that is what you will be smelling. This mall definitely attracts weird people that the fact I was cussed out for no reason. Some stores were closed for good, some stores look ghetto and sell some of the most cheap stuff. In conclusion if you really need something from here then yeah come here, but there are definitely better malls out there.

It’s all about being a suburban mall and this place takes the cake! Took me back to my childhood and it’s quiet and not a lot of tourists and peaceful shopping…

Google
I love this mall😊. There are so many things in there that are fun and exciting lol, I see all the reviews and respect everyone's opinion but instead of complaining about it keep it alive for our youth, yes alot of us had the privilege to experience a true mall but to our youth they wouldn't know that unless we keep it alive ❤️❤️❤️👍🏼. It would be awesome if everyone came with friends and family and make it fun 😊😊

I recently discovered a hidden gem – a cute little town right inside Boulevard Mall shopping mall door. Can you believe it? It's like stepping into Mexico, but with all the comforts of a shopping outlet! 🛍️🌮 This place has got it all – amazing clothes shops, unique souvenir stores, and a fantastic food court. It's absolutely delightful! 😄🌯 I can't wait to go back again! Whenever I'm craving some delicious birri taco, this little town will be my go-to destination. 🌮❤️

Yelp
Makes me sad seeing this place die down - it was my childhood. Not many stores within the mall. It is not as booming as it once was with only few customers. Usually clean. A little bit on the unsafe side. Maybe not great for kids. - My Go-To Stores- *Love the Pop Shack store. Many Funko Pops and is a unique store to Vegas (alongside Brad's). *Hot Topic *SeaQuest was fun. Not too expensive. You can have physical interactions with animals. *Footlocker has many great deals. *Victoria's Secret/Pink *Bath and Body Works *Lids *There are a couple stores within the mall that sell anime collectibles/merch. There is also a comic store that sells Funkos. Food selection is meh. No huge chains within the food court. It is good if you want to try something new. I hope they will revamp this place soon, but it is not looking too good with a middle school soon coming to the mall. Sad to see it further go downhill.

Yelp
Waste of time . GOOGLE has different closing hours. . It was the closest mall to me this day and they have a couple stores I like a. But they close at seven on Saturdays . Not eight like google says.

Yelp
I remember coming to this mall a few times when I first moved to Vegas in the first decade of the 2000's. It was a tyipcal American mall back then, very mall like, with shops, end-capping with the big major departments stores, and food courts. I also remember watching the decline, as major stores pulled out and the place started to look a bit dilapidated. Then I saw the upswing before the pandemic hit, with the addition of Galaxy Theaters and Sea Quest. I have been in right before the pandemic (to take my now husband to see the otters at Sea Quest) and I have been back in a few times since the pandemic to do random stuff, including visiting the mercado in the middle. I don't get what people complain about. I think it's kind of cool to have the mercado in the middle of the mall. It feels like travelling to a different place. I also don't think it smells bad in here at all. Smells like a mall. A mall with very shiny, slippery floors. I am not really sure why this place isn't as popular as other malls. I'm guessing it is the neighborhood and just the decline of malls. I don't think this place is terrible. It has a lot of parking, including a garage. It has plenty of food options, including a steak house that has great reviews. It's such a large place, one can only hope it thrives.

Yelp
This mall has seen better days. With several different owners since it's opening in 1968 it's definitely gone through obvious changes. It's focus has changed from big box retailers to community needs. It's never busy as the neighborhood has changed as well as demographics. Space was never the problem it was convincing guests to visit, stay and spend money. Through many economic downturns, it's somehow managed to stay open even during the most recent pandemic. I hope over the next few years they will be able to reinvent themselves and provide Vegas Residents and Tourists a safe place to spend a few hours of their day here.
google avatar

Yelp
Boulevard mall has seen better days. I used to work here earlier in my 20s at a lids. That's closed now. But yeah, when you come here there's not much to find in the food court, but there's also some specialty stores stores i've never seen anywhere else. They have some stores in normal malls like Foot Locker. There's some available kiosks so if you can open a business then theres space. There is a few candy stores here and a couple cafes and yeah, some massage chairs. I basically come here to waste time, honestly.

Yelp
Mall is pretty empty, but there is so many cool places to shop at here. Sea-quest and galaxy theater is located inside and there is a Rex Center themed dinosaurs that has arcade games and a cafe. There is rock climbing that wasn't open but is there. The few people that worked at the mall that we interacted with was nice. Prices are decent for shopping and dinning.

Yelp
Great service! Love the staff very friendly and helpful! The selection on the menu is great!! Love the paninis! And all the drinks are delicious!! Hot or cold!! The prices are decent and worth it!

Yelp
Nice mall doing its best to recover from covid. Nice food court, theater, kids entertainment, shopping, etc. There is a decent selection of stores; some new, some closed. I almost always find a really good deal whenever I shop here.

Yelp
It's definitely not what it used to be anymore for a shopping mall here. The place is still very spacious with shops open and in business, but the feeling of shopping on weekdays is dead for sure. I think people are afraid to visit high crime areas and vulnerable neighborhoods. The mall is still brightly lit up with high ceilings and good fresh paints. You can still find some ok customer service inside the retail stores, but don't expect much. Food court is still open, but with fewer foot traffic. The mood isn't there. The only place that stands out is the El Mercado part of the entire place, but even business is slow and dead there. Not many shoppers come here nowadays, but it hasn't entirely died out yet. Galaxy Theaters is conveniently located inside the shopping mall and there are public restrooms available in most spots. There's a bumper car entertainment spot as well as a museum, especially good enough for children. I think The Boulevard shopping mall has potential to grow if it really wants to. Afterall, it's pretty clean inside with lots of good public parking spaces inside and outside of the garage. The investment is there. I always enjoy walking around spacious shopping malls. You can still find good value and good selections for fashion items here. Inexpensive to be honest. Bonus, you can actually walk down the strip mall plaza to get to 99 Ranch Grocery Store and Seafood City down the far side. Even Daiso is down the far right corner of plaza these days. Ross store is easy within walking distance too. Maybe management need to do more advertising or marketing nowadays. It really feels like they left this mall since the pandemic struggles and never did much to it, but just know that it's still a clean place to go to. It just feels very deserted and empty these days.

Yelp
Decent place to get things. It's not like a mall anymore. This place is more like an indoor swap meet. I don't know, maybe I'm comparing it to what it use to be. They have the cool statues in one of the stores. I come from the other side of town for these. I get them for my son. He has a collection. I guess once I buy the rest of them, probably won't need to come back over here.

Nun ya I.

Yelp
It just isn't a mall anymore, it's a swapmeet, and the stuff they sell isn't great at all. There are no major stores except hot topic, zumiez and bath and bodywork's. The galaxy theaters was a nice addition to it but everything else sucks This mall used to be where I'd go all the time as a kid but now, it's not even a mall. Everything here is lame and the sea quest place makes it stink really bad. It's sad to see it go so downhill. I miss the old boulevard mall
google avatar

Rocelle F.

Yelp
It's kinda dead in here but there are still local business. It's pretty good if you are trying to just walk indoors on a hot day. They have a rock and mineral store it's cute. They could add a bit more local shops in here.
google avatar

Emily H.

Yelp
I have lived in Vegas for 4 years and never even knew anything @ this so random mall lol. Its outta the way in a random area. I drove by and went inside grabbed some items at bath & body. The entire mall was dead very weird. Not enough quality stores inside to gather a crowd. Oh well I got my air freshners and body spray. Wont be going back to this mall lol

Yelp
Its been over 10 years since I last visited Boulevard Mall, it used to be one of my favorite malls when visiting Las Vegas. Many of you will ask the same question I asked myself and I asked my other half, what happened to Boulevard Mall??!! During my recent visit, I was surprised to see the many changes and that I wish I had gone to another mall instead, but seems that this mall changed for the better. What I noticed that many stores that was at this mall is no longer at Boulevard Mall, ex. Macy's & JcPenney. There is a Good Will, Furniture store, 99 Ranch Market, and lots of business for children and family, like SeaQuest Interactive Aquarium, Rex Center, even a Magic Show on the weekends. Galaxy Luxury Theater and King Putt Adventure will be opening soon. This is great idea in my opinion, more family like activities but I do miss the old Boulevard Mall. I didn't find anything during this visit, I was busy observing the changes to this mall. Overall, I do miss the old Boulevard Mall but am looking forward to the new, will come back to check it out next time I visit Vegas. FYI: Best to check if the store you are planning to go to at Boulevard Mall is still here at this mall. There is construction going on.
google avatar

Yelp
This mall is sad. Many of the department stores have closed down. It feels like its a swap meet. This mall use to be poppin back in the days. Where is Dillards, JC Penney, Sanrio store, Cinnabun.....? Now theres Goodwill, a furniture store, and many vacant spots. Even the food court isn't very inviting. The only reason I go out of my way to go here is for Urban Necessities. Parking lot feels scary at night. Be safe! I would rather go to Fashion Show or Meadows mall.
google avatar

P. Filomena J.

Yelp
Went to see the Mercado and the international food court. That's a joke! Food court not open yet. There is a great Mexican food court in the Mercado which had a lot of shops. Will be back for the shops!
google avatar

Jenn M.

Yelp
I use to come to this mall so much when I was younger. Now it's an odd mall with not many known stores. They seem to have a lot of people trying to sell you the same stuff at each store. They do have Seaquest and a Galaxy Movie theatre so that's one unique thing. But I wouldnt go here just to shop.
google avatar

Laurie H.

Yelp
Hadn't been to this mall in decades. I liked it long ago, I like it now, buts very different. There are lots of things for kids, none free except a TERRIBLE little space with one plastic tunnel to crawl through. /: Rides, trains, fun sea quest, lots of stores and a food court for the adults. We wandered for around two hours then went to the Meadows for the play area.
google avatar

Blanca V.

Yelp
Stopped by after many years and pandemic too eat something yummy. Got some good food from the California Burrito in the food court. Started eating our delicious food when some teens came and sat a few chairs away with a medium size dog. He shacked and you can see the dog hairs flying around, then too top it of the dam teen put the dog on too of the eating table? Many people saw and said nothing I called security to have them put the dog on the floor!! I don't understand why you would bring a dog too a food court instead of a park were he can run and play and do his necessities if need !! With this pandemic people are acting more disrespectful towards other people be kind and hopefully soon things will be okay for everyone. Malls , stores etc don't allow dogs into the establishments its dirty and unsanitary in so many ways.
google avatar

Charles C.

Yelp
This mall has lots of options, especially for food. The place is pretty clean and organized, but the map can be tricky. There's a lot of parking spaces available, which can be awesome! Unfortunately, the neighborhood and area this mall is located in tends to attract a less than savory group of people, but it's nothing to stop you from checking it out.
google avatar

Yelp
"Stop trying to make fetch happen!" -- Mean Girls Much like a millenial trying to make a random slang term go viral, someone keeps sinking time and money into this mall trying to make it successful and unfortunately it just isn't happening. A recent remodel has improved the facade but it's a ghost town. When your anchor stores are Bath & Body Works and Footlocker, you're in trouble. Majority of foot traffic is concentrated in the food court and even that has multiple closed counters. Several of the store spaces are businesses I've never heard of that seem to be more local, like those you'd see at a flea market but with larger spaces, selling imported home decor items, consignment furniture, and cheap clothing. There are barely any customers even on a weekend and it seems like half of the businesses are closed- even Sears, which seems to be hanging on by a thread, is completely closed up before 8PM and even the more prominent restaurants like Mamma Olivia are closed on Sundays due to lack of business when weekends should be their busiest time.
google avatar

Quin P.

Yelp
This mall used to be the spot back in the 90's when I was a kid. All of the anchor stores have closed down (Jc penny, Sears, Dillard's and Macy's). Seems so deserted now. They should have just closed down this mall in my opinion. On the plus side, they do have a new Galaxy Theater, Johns Incredible Pizza, Seaquest Aquarium and other new amenities that are actually family friendly...

Oscar S.

Yelp
Worst mall in vegas. Smells like sewage in the entrance closes at 7 but keeps the doors open till 8 for unsuspecting customers so that we can sit here and look at the closed doors
google avatar

Hon C.

Yelp
I haven't been to this mall in awhile but today I ran in to pay a bill and was surprised at the changes that were made! They added new stores and remodeled some of the old ones. Very kid friendly now! There's a seaquest, kingputt, rock climbing, race cars and play area for the little ones! And they're adding a IMAX theatre! I'm happy to see this mall progressing and hope it's even better. This was my childhood go to mall so I was very happy to see the changes and will be taking my kiddos back to play! Oh and there's a cool little magic store that puts free magic shows on the weekends from 2pm to 4pm you can also book them for parties!
google avatar

A R.

Yelp
It's okay I guess the mall is kinda off the strip and a little on the iffy side but it's cool to run in and out of like really quick
google avatar

Colleen B.

Yelp
If they didn't have those people in the kiosk's in the middle of the mall trying to bring you in like a barker at a carnival it would be SO much better. This mall is clean, it has a few great stores and a food court. It's not in the best part of town and it's an older mall but if you need a mall this will do the trick.
google avatar

Susan R.

Yelp
At this hour in the morning, around 9 AM the mall is like that of a ghost town. Picked up a friend for fun today and met here. Never ventured in so early it is such a beautiful place early in the morning. It was so clean and usually is with no signs of safety issues for those that want to check out the mall this early. This early in the morning there is no line for the wonderful ride on toys that now seem to be disappearing from fronts of grocery stores. We decided it was time to ride one and it was fun. The mall has so many great small business owners that are always surprising the public with such great new business ideas. There is one store here where one can ride a large animal like a pony around the mall for about an hour for 8.00. The food court is packed with great business that are not all corporate box eateries. This mall works and a time ago I remember when I thought it may not be here much longer. The small businesses have really revived this mall for all of the community to share and support.
google avatar

David A.

Yelp
Anyone worth their mustard in business knows it take great effort, time, money, and creativity to turn a failing 75 acer outdated retail shopping facility around. It looks like the folks managing The Boulevard Mall may just have what it takes. They added some new family orientated activities and I personally think its worth your time to check out. I was by yesterday to check out REXCENTER ... Now I'm not going to give away all the secrets; lets just say there is something for the whole family to enjoy. Playing off the "Jurassic Park" theme there are dining areas, rock climbing walls, indoor slick track racing ... Oh and did I mention dinosaurs!
google avatar

Enrique N.

Yelp
Amazing what they've done to improve the oldest mall in Nevada. There are better stores, beautiful renovations to the building, plenty of entertainment for families. They have a food court with plenty of various cuisine to choose from. Among my favorite stores here are the Pop Shack and Viva Cafe. A great place to shop for comic gifts and the other for some really good coffee.
google avatar

Monica W.

Yelp
We come here quite frequently for the entertainment....SeaQuest, HeadzUp, John's Incredible Pizza....but we don't usually shop here. Today we did and I was reminded why I don't. The mall is full of independent stores, which I'm not opposed to except they all seem to sell poor quality thrift store type junk. They do have regular chain stores as well...but these seem to be poorly stocked compared to others I normally frequent. For instance, I stopped by Bath and Body Works, and their selection of hand sanitizers was less than 8 scents, when usually there are several dozen to choose from. Also, they do not heat the mall! We came on a day when it was 42 outside, and the mall was FREEZING! So we ended up leaving rather quickly. My hands were icicles as I didn't think I would need my gloves to shop, so I had left them in the car. The whole place feels like it's not going to be around much longer, and even on a weekend the place feels completely deserted. We commented that we could fill a zombie movie here without having to close the mall. There are a lot better places in town to shop, so I won't be shopping her again.....ever.
google avatar

M G.

Yelp
This place is a terrible mess!! A terrible neighborhood to begin with. Most good stores have closed. No more department stores. Mostly independent stores selling cheap, ugly & uninteresting items. Mostly outdated clothing, cheap toys & cheap perfume. A horrible aquarium that treats their animals like garbage and should be immediately closed down!!!! One old & tired looking Victoria's Secret Store with bad clientele. One nice Bath & Bodyworks. Only good thing about this mall is the new Galaxy movie theatre (5 stars for the theatre.)
google avatar

Malorie S.

Yelp
This mall is sad. Definitely a relic of the past- from its former glory. We came for the escape room place. We had a great experience there, but the emptiness of the other parts of the mall was downright creepy. Plenty of parking as no one was there.

Hilda G.

Yelp
Excellent service and food was delicious. Chavo del 8 staff excellent great work. We will definitely be back soon.
google avatar

Willie D.

Yelp
This along with Meadows mall were supposed to closed but were saved and kept around along with renovations, but it's still a bummer and not as cool or filled with businesses I'd frequent. They have added El Mercado and I think it's appropriate given we have a large Latin community throughout the valley. Swap meat, taquerias, papuserias, arepas, latin music and it reminds me of 90s Vegas. Will leave a more thorough review after a few more visits. The mall isn't as welcoming or clean like Fashion Show. Tye property doesn't have any unique vibe or keep up with malls in Cali or even OG mall scene from the past. It's a cool spot to visit and walk around but parking here is scarce, bathrooms tend to have kid sized toilets and aren't tended to well enough.
google avatar

Margret C.

Yelp
Out of the four major malls here (Galleria, Meadows, Fashion Show), this is my least favorite. But there are some saving graces: Old Navy, Yankee Candle, the Pet Store, some promotions if you join the e-club. And I almost forgot Marshall's- just outside of the old Dillard's location. There are a lot of empty store space up for lease. One wing looks pretty depressing. Once, with my husband, I counted about 25 empty slots! We went again this I don't think that count includes the food court. **UPDATE 7/24/10- part of the mall where a lot of the stores vacated, has been officially closed off, after Frederick's, making that wing feel even smaller (kinda like an Alice in Wonderland feeling) and more depressing, for that matter. At least, we actually went shopping here at several different stores- Game Stop, FYE, Macy's, and Old Navy. Sadly, the Pet Store closed! The McDonald's is still closed at the food court. Now, the other half is closed, due to renovations. It's pretty crowded on Black Friday due to the department store sales and promotions. My last few trips here were pretty quick- a few stores and I was out of there. It's convenient if you're doing some shopping in the area- lots of shopping in the surrounding strip malls on Maryland Parkway.
google avatar

Yelp
My first time at The Boulevard was quite disappointing. The mall itself looks quite outdated and although it has a range of clothing stores and things to do, the clothing is as outdated as the mall (but at great discounts as a result, so you might find some steals!) and the children's areas, magic shows and fun interactive areas were all closed. Some looked like they might not reopen with nothing inside, but I can't be sure. It was clean however and there were a few places to eat that (after checking reviews as we Yelpers do!) looked and smelled delicious and are worth a try. In all, there are few businesses in and around the area that make it worthwhile to visit, but there are many more relevant, updated and buzzing with activity than The Boulevard.
google avatar

Jim P.

Yelp
I will generally stop off at this mall when I'm in Las Vegas since it isn't too crowded and parking isn't really an issue. During my last trip to Las Vegas in April 2016, I needed to purchase a replacement T-Mobile SIM from the Best Buy Mobile store inside (it was on sale) and also swap my existing T-Mobile plan from my old microSIM to the new nanoSIM at the T-Mobile store located in The Boulevard Mall. I had no problems in the mall and even was able to charge my 2 cellphones there before leaving. I didn't try the food court or anything. On the day & time (it was ~10:30am on a weekday) that I was there, there weren't a lot of people in the mall. There appeared to be a vagrant lying on one of the benches near the charging station that I was using for my cellphones. Mall security showed up and just tapped him on the shoulder and he woke up and instead of lying on the bench at the charging station just sat there and security left him alone and walked away. I'm not sure if this is a common occurrence or not with vagrants in this mall. In any event, this person didn't bother me while I sat there charging my cellphones. I purchased my T-Mobile SIM from the Best Buy Mobile and then went to the T-Mobile store (they have 2 T-Mobiles at The Boulevard Mall... a T-Mobile stand/kiosk and a T-Mobile store... not sure why) and asked them to swap my account. The reason I didn't purchase my T-Mobile SIM from the T-Mobile store was that it was more than double the price of what Best Buy Mobile was selling it for (Best Buy had it on special).

Yelp
The neighborhood may have gone to shit since I was a kid but this place is really making a cone back. Family friendly and lots of activities. Saw avengers end game here twice. I wouldn't hang around the area at night outside but the place has really turned itself around.
google avatar

Sue G.

Yelp
Been here a few times over the years. One of those places I avoid it seems as if over the years it has just become a hang out on the weekends and days the kids are not in school and it is not in the best part of town. Its a old mall and it is not too far from the strip, of course you will either take a cab or bus Its a bit far to walk if you need to come here for some reason, if not head to the mall on the strip or there are plenty of other places to go than here. I thought I heard they sold this mall and it will be gone soon. I think a lot of stores have moved and closed up.Not too sure, Just not a place I would miss. And not a place I suggest to anyone.
google avatar

Marie T.

Yelp
This mall used to be the ish in middle school and high school. I didn't grow up in Vegas, but I spent summers here and my dad would take me shopping. This mall had all the stores every teenage girl wanted; Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, Claire's, etc. Now, it's like a ghost town. With Fashion Show Mall and the outlets gaining popularity, this mall fell into the shadows. Due to lack of business, stores started to close and buildings were physically neglected. The last time I came here was for Pineapple Park, which not surprisingly isn't there anymore either. The rest of the food court isn't worth mentioning either. The stores that are left are like Foot Locker, Old Navy, Victoria's Secret and a bunch of other little janky stores not worth mentioning. This mall is in a bad part of town, there aren't any good stores, and the people shopping here are pretty sketch. Just stay away and shop somewhere else.
google avatar

Sandra R.

Yelp
Man I do not know what happened to this mall but every single store that made this mall is gone! Probably only stores that remain that's been there since day 1 is foot locker and Sears! Everything else is gone. They have a piñata store! Like seriously, in the mall?! It seems like every reject store that the other malls would deny decided to put their store up at the Blvd mall. They do have new management now so everything is being renovated. There's new palm trees in the parking lot and the outside has been newly painted. The food court is ridiculous. Only thing recognizable is Cinnabon.
google avatar

Cathy C.

Yelp
"If you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all" - with that being said, I've reached the end of this review. . . . What is a mall? A retail complex with stores and restaurants. Why is Boulevard Mall called a mall? No clue. I guess you only need 10 stores to be considered a mall. How is the crowd? From employees to the people who come here - not so great. A woman with 6 kids asking the guy from Cinnabon to give them free samples. I thought free samples were offered to potential customers not demanded by them? Another lady was offered teriyaki chicken sample from a chicken place. She eats it and then complains, "did that have skin? I don't eat skin. That had skin. I don't like it. I don't like chicken skin." This went on and on. RATCHET!!! If you don't like this place, why do you go? Pineapple Park has not opened their other locations yet so, I go after class. I run out the door and peel away from the parking lot as soon as I get my pineapple treat. If I spend more than 5 minutes in this place, there's a huge possibility my brain will turn into soup.
google avatar

Karole W.

Yelp
Macy's closed Jc penny about to be closed American cookie gone Like EVERYONE IS CLOSING!! The a/c went out on the back side and they have emptied stores and moved them all to the front side. This pice of Vegas history is slowly disappearing and it's sad to think how much they try to revamp this area it just hasn't taken off. The good will and johns pizza seem to be doing well Sea Quest isn't going to last. The abuse to the wild life by children and uncaring parents is sickening. It's dirty and swampy feeling Bath and body works and Victoria secret are VERY small here. A lot of mom and pop places still but doubtful for any long term

Yelp
I like this mall and will definitely return here the next time I visit Las Vegas. Many locals warned me that this mall is "ghetto" but I disagree. This mall is similar to a hometown mall or a typical mall in a suburban neighborhood. I think the mall seems ghetto because they're comparing it to the upscale malls on the Las Vegas Strip or the nicer, well maintained outlets. Coming here was actually a nice break from the busy Las Vegas Strip and the outlet malls. It's quieter here and the prices at the stores are a little lower compared to the Strip. There's ample parking and also a few good places to get a quick bite to eat. A few of the stores they have are Sears, Macy's, Bath and Body Works, Charlotte Russe, Cotton On, Radio Shack, etc. I recommend coming here if you want to a quiet and calm shopping experience and are looking to save a few bucks.

Yelp
What happened to you? You were my favorite place to go 10 years ago! Every year you seem to grow old and boring. I really am dissappointed Mr Boulevard Mall! You went from being one of the coolest hang out spots to a big building I just want to pass by. Currently the west strip of the mall is still active but the east strip of the mall (the smaller side) is barely hanging on. I came here to get my watch re-linked and to browse around. Don't get me wrong, I come here occasionally to browse and buy a shirt or 4 but I remember the days when KB toy store was around with Spencers at the other end of the mall with a photo-taking shop next door to it but all that is now gone. You would think this place is affordable and some are but other stores keep their prices strict. Here's hoping to some revival of sorts!

Yelp
I don't know why this place has such a poor rating. Sure, it doesn't have the Ritz and glitz of the malls that you can find on the strip here in Las Vegas. But what it does offer is a hip, urban touch to life that you can't seem to find at the other malls in town. I am not the type of person, who just goes to the Mall to wonder around and window shop so maybe that is why I can enjoy this mall. I know where I am going and what I am going for and I am often in and out. I am a fan of this mall because it is not always crowded, I can easily find a good parking spot, and I mostly get great customer service at the stores I do visit. The surrounding area is not the nicest. And maybe that is why this mall gets a poor rap. And yes, it's old. But I love the stores here.

Yelp
You know, 20+ years ago, this was THE mall to go to and hang out at. Now, it's not even a destination. Unless you do have some store to go to, then by all means, great. But I wouldn't go out of my way to go here unless I specifically wanted to patronize a business here. And that's rather sad. There's not much choices of stores that are left that will make you truly want to shop there. The names are generic named stores, or little known brands. It feels empty in some areas...sort of like it's half abandoned. However, it is clean. Parking is also ample and abundant. It would not be on my list as a place to go to, especially since stores seem to close randomly.

Yelp
The mall should have been closed down years ago! The place is a health hazard. First of all it's not really a mall, it's a step up from a swap meet. The nicest store there is a beat up Macy's. Secondly, there are absolutely no good food options. I wouldn't even eat a wrapped candy bar that comes from that mall. The customers are less then desirable. There are shootings in the mall, on a regular basis. I only go to that mall when I absolutely have to. Usually by no choice of my own. There are two different malls, not far from there. Might be a safer bet.

Yelp
This mall is probably the worst of the shopping options in Las Vegas, but it is by no means a dead mall. Although Macy's and JCPenney have closed, there's still Sears and Marshall's, and the interior is about half national chains, half local shops. However, unlike other malls, the local shops here are actually interesting, and have stuff that's neat to look through. It's being converted into a more entertainment oriented destination too, with stuff like the aquarium and Johns Incredible. I'd say no reason to make a special trip to this area to visit, but if you're already in the area it's kind of a neat mall to check out. ***Some of the national stores remaining include Hot Topic, Foot Locker, Journeys, Old Navy, Victoria's Secret, GNC, The Children's Place, Bath & Body Works, Zumiez, Vitamin World, and Footaction.
