The Best Restaurants for Juicy Steaks Around Phoenix

"This local institution has grown to four locations within Phoenix, including overlooking the outfield at Chase Field baseball stadium. As the name suggests, there are lots of bourbons — as well as other whiskeys and Scotches — to choose from alongside a large offering of meats. All the standard steakhouse fare is here, and for a little extra flair, choose the table side flambé with the restaurant’s personal barrel. The extensive list of sides will round out the comforting, upscale meal." - Asonta Benetti, jamiekillin

Just wonderful. We'll get to the food in a minute but I've got to start with the service. From beginning to end absolutely spectacular. And not just the server (she was amazing) but at every level. Hostess, wonderful. Young man that filled the water glasses and brought drinks, fabulous. Even the folks that boxes up the take home, delightful!! Service at this level requires commitment and training at the highest levels. Just top notch. Food obviously followed suit. Started with buratta and it was just sublime and the plating was perfect. The star of the apps was definitely the grilled octopus. Just perfectly cooked and seasoned and tender as could be. That alone should bring you back but the entrees were so well done also. Wagyu ribeye cap steak (sliced) was just one of those pieces of meat that is memorable. So rich, incredible flavor, perfectly cooked. Also did diver scallops and lobster that was perfection. Thought we were done, memorable meal , home. But we did the creme brulee (solid, traditional) and the bourbon butter cake. I have to say the butter cake might be in my top 5 all time desserts. It created a new tier of butter cake for me and I've probably eaten over 100. Really, truly special. Must stop and do the whole menu. Gotta have the apps, mains (also did a wonderful wedge) and dessert. Just go.

Celebrated our anniversary yesterday. For for dinner we stopped and Bourbon and Bones and what an awesome choice that turned out to be. From the atmosphere and music to the service and exquisite food. It's definitely a spot I'd come back to to celebrate a special occasion.

Great experience a large bourbon selection and wine. Dress to impress some individuals were turned away due to looking at little to casual. The burrata was fresh sweet and light. French onion soup was excellent. She got the Chilean sea bass and cheese broccoli it was very flavourful. I got the Prime Filet Minion with mushrooms and a baked potato ate all of it. The buffalo trace and coke was good, the ice tea something super simple was refreshing and tasted great. Valet was friendly took great care of our vehicle. I can only give five stars but it is definitely worth more.

Google
The lobster mac & cheese with filet mignon was absolutely divine — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. It’s not easy to elevate a comfort dish to such a luxurious level, but they succeeded effortlessly. The cocktails were outstanding, crafted with precision and creativity. Elegant ambiance, attentive service, and a menu that truly impresses. A place I’ll gladly return to — refined, vibrant, and undeniably memorable.

Google
The food was absolutely delicious. Their whipped butter and pretzel appetizer was to die for. We also shared the bone marrow appetizer, which was the perfect start to the night. I ordered the spicy cucumber cocktail, and it had just the right amount of heat. The lamb was cooked to perfection. My fiancé ordered the steak, which was slightly too rare, but overall, the dinner experience was amazing.

Google
We had an incredible night at Bourbon & Bones—easily one of the best upscale restaurants we’ve ever been to. The drinks were top-notch, the appetizers were excellent, and the entrees were absolutely amazing. Everything from start to finish exceeded expectations. We had reservations for 8:45 PM and arrived about 10 minutes early. They were understandably busy, so we were seated shortly after our reservation time. While we waited, the young woman working the bar provided outstanding service—friendly, attentive, and professional. She brought us water right away and took our drink orders, making the wait enjoyable. My wife even wondered if there was a way to request her for future visits—not as a “server,” but as our go-to hospitality expert. We’d definitely come back for happy hour just to have her help us again. Service throughout the meal was good, but a special shoutout goes to the young gentleman assisting our server. He was exceptional—engaged, efficient, and personable. Honestly, he’s got what it takes to be a lead server and definitely deserves a promotion. Bourbon & Bones nailed it across the board. We’ll absolutely be back.

Google
Had dinner here for my birthday! Amazing customer service. Our waitress was amazing! EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. Even down to the sparkling water. The only reason for 4 stars was because my food was a little cool. We had a big party so maybe my food was plated first, idk but the flavor and service made up for it. I got the prime rib special! I loved that we got to pick out our knife of choice. The calamari was the best calamari I have ever had - hands down. We also tried the octopus of course, it was great as well. Something different to add to your palette. I enjoyed it. The shrimp was fried perfectly and paired well with the pesto. Our table had a little bit of everything and we had no complaints! I would highly recommend you come enjoy yourself and have a great meal. #tellemgabbbsentya

Google
Great cocktails, great food! We had a great time meeting people next to us. This place is great, but not an intimate, kind of joint. Also, when you get the bone in ribeye, they will make it table side flambe for an extra $19 Without asking.

Yelp
Went here to celebrate my son's graduation from ASU. At 8:15 the house was quite full. Glad we booked a reservation. Aesthetically, it's perfect. Dimly lit but not too dark. Could read the menu easily. Tables were comfortable and elegant. I would say this is a fine steakhouse that is definitely bourbon centric. However if you do not enjoy bourbon nor steak, there are plenty of options. I ordered the sea-bass. Which comes on top a pea/orzo in a cream sauce. Oh wow. It was amazing. My son ordered the 22 oz rib eye steak. Fully knowing it would be too big to eat, which it was. It was thick, cooked perfectly and completely delicious. I know its pricey but it is well worth the 81 dollar price tag. He added a wine reduction sauce and bone morrow butter to enhance the flavor, which it completely added to the steak. For dessert we ordered the bourbon butter cake. Could taste the subtle bourbon inside it. That dessert I did not need to know about as I will want it now every time I come to Tempe/Scottsdale. Yum. Our server, Anthony was fantastic. He had a great personality and help guide our selections. I dont like bourbon and he helped me find the perfect drink, fizzing flower He and his busboy were attentive to every detail. Highly recommend him. Thank you Bourbon and Bones for making my son's graduation dinner memorable and special.

Yelp
First and foremost, if you want to maximize your dining experience, make sure to ask for seating in "Katie's" section. Wow! She shows that there are levels to serving. Southern charm, extremely knowledgeable of the menu and makes you feel like she's a step ahead of what you're thinking you need. Definitely an asset to the team. We were seated which I feel oat the best seat in the house. Right at the corner where the windows open up to Scottsdale blvd. Front row. We had the grilled octopus (phenomenal) the pork belly (good) and a house salad w blue cheese (delicious) Then we shared the filet with crab over asparagus, and the potatoes au gratin ( everything was PERFECT) For dessert we shared the bourbon float (delicious and nice bourbon flavor) and the butter cake (WOW!! Sans the cream cheese this blows Mastros butter cake out of the water) This is the place to go if you want amazing service, upscale lively ambiance and to show your palette and array of amazing flavors.

Yelp
It doesn't even matter how the food or drinks are I havnt gotten to yet, but what a nazi ran place, makes you turn your FLAT billed hat forward during happy hour at a bar...you know how ridiculous a flat billed hat forward looks? I guess I'll take it off and everyone can see my sweaty hair thx I'm so comfortable now A hat backwards where you can see my whole face isn't acceptable? I don't see how a baseball cap forward is anymore formal. The dude next to me wearing probably the same hat for 40 years it looks so gross but it's forward. Nazi type establishment

Yelp
Inside is nice and dark, the way a steakhouse should be We came in for Valentine's Day and we're not disappointed. Everyone was so nice from the guy who opened the door for us to the waiters and bussers and everyone we encountered Got a smoked old fashioned with tequila and it was great. Nice presentation on the serve with a wine decanter filled with smoke For apps we got the onion soup and the tomato salad, and the sashimi platter For our entrees we got the 24 oz ribeye and the filet. Steak was cooked perfectly. For our sides we got the corn, the orzo and a baked potato. Everything was delicious Was a great meal, great experience

Yelp
Food was good overall with a few sides that were okay. Our server, seemed like a bit of, well it's hard to say however he was almost like a jerk - or maybe he was having a really bad day -!but he wasn't nice and he was a little slow on bringing drinks or coming back to the table when he said he would. He just was a bit of a sourpuss. We tried the pork belly appetizer which was tasty however the sauce was a little overwhelming - sweet and there was just too much of it. My choice was the double cut pork chop. Seasoning was excellent with just the right amount of garlic, spice and salt. The beef ribeye and the filet mignon however were completely lackluster. They had little seasoning, the flavor was boring if you can say that about a steak.... The lamb racks really were underseasoned and had a fishy note which now I can say I understand why people don't like lamb and a lot of folks use mint jelly to cover that weird flavor. They just didn't taste right because they weren't seasoned well at all. They needed some garlic and /or some pistachio crusting - something to help the strange flavor that this particular rack had. We had a reservation for 745 and we arrived and they were trying to set the table, that was fine we only waited a few minutes however there was a large group in the middle of this main dining room probably 16 to 20 people and they were LOUD. We are not old or have hearing problems but this place was probably 80 dB maybe higher should've checked it on my phone. They really shouldn't put big parties like that in the middle of the main dining room everybody around them couldn't hear themselves they were so loud! The side dishes except for the asparagus I have to say were somewhat disappointing. The au gratin or chunky potatoes with cheese and bacon were tasty but needed salt, the corn was corn perfectly fine, the mashed we're good but nothing spectacular asparagus however we're nice and large, well seasoned and well cooked - not overcooked and not raw and crispy like some places. We didn't have dessert so I can't speak to that. For the price I expected more so I don't think I we would return for a regular meal unless someone else was buying which was the case this time.

Yelp
I had a nice dining experience at this restaurant. It's a popular venue and they have a modern design that is comfortable, classy but a relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant is large with a lot of seating options but it can definitely get full quickly so reservations are a good idea. They have a huge selection of bourbons and even have tastings which are very popular. The service was excellent and friendly. I had the filet which was very good and the prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service. I would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
So far, best steakhouse I've been to in Scottsdale. The braised short rib came off the bone and sat on a bed of smashed potatoes. It was amazing (see pic attached). I happened to sit across from the main bartender (bar) area where the restaurant manager was hanging out. She, Chantea was delightful and extremely busy but found time to explain the restaurant concept and dishes. The ambiance here is easy going. There's some upbeat music in the background but nothing wild. Their drinks did not disappoint.

Yelp
Phenomenal buratta, great ambiance. Lovely bartenders. My honey and I rolled in here last night without a reservation and sat at the bar. The staff was so sweet and guided us through the menu with great suggestions. I ordered the braised beef with mashed potatoes as my entree. 10/10 great portion sizes, just a bit pricey. Would definitely recommend for a romantic dinner date.

Yelp
Daniel and Louis were so great tonight they really made my friend birthday special tonight! Thank you for being so attentive. Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Great service, delicious food and good cocktails! We got lucky without a reservation on a Friday night and scored two bar seats. We tried the bone in ribeye, mushrooms and creamy garlic mashed potatoes. Everything was flavorful and we enjoyed our meal. Good date night spot to come on for vacation. *If you want a table make a reservation in advance!

Yelp
We wanted a high quality steakhouse during our visit to Scottsdale. We found Bourbon & Bones meeting those expectations. We started with a Caesar salad as we often do and it was delightful. My husband and I both got steaks and had a few table sides. The steaks were perfectly cooked and the red wine glaze I got paired perfectly. The options of flavored salt and choosing your own knife exceeded our expectations. The wine selection was excellent and my husband had only good things to say about the featured old fashioned. The servers were very attentive and made sure our waters and drinks were full and empty plates removed promptly. This place is spendy but if you are looking for an upscale restaurant for a special occasion or date night. I recommend.

Yelp
Had a great visit at bourbon & bones. Had the sea bass which turned out to be great. Our server Clint was fantastic and catered to my high maintenance family. Would come again.

Yelp
So for the last 10 years, we've been going to Mastro's for our annual spring training steakhouse dinner night. This year we decided to change it up and give Bourbon and Bones a try. It was a great decision. Taking nothing away from Mastros, our total B&B experience was frankly better based upon a number of factors. 1. Service- The genuine friendly greeting when we walked in to the restaurant. I always feel the Mastros greeters are beautiful and pretentious. The greeting at B&B was genuinely friendly and happy to see us. Our server, Katy Jo, was what every guest wants from a server: expertise and knowledge of food, spirits and wine and genuine Midwest friendliness that makes every guest feel special and valued. We loved Katy Jo. B&B is lucky to have her. 2. Food: we started with ceviche and a dozen oysters. Great start. Caesar salads were delicious for our next course, our steaks were all seasoned well and grilled to the correct temperatures. Notably, every steak and side was set piping hot! Desserts were the butter cake, apple crisp, and the boozy root beer float. The apple crisp was everyone's favorite. The food overall was a 6 on a scale of 1-5. 3. Ambiance: where Mastros is dark and swanky, B&B is bright and open aired...the opposite of Mastros. If you sit at a high top table in the bar, the windows are fully opened and enhances the openness. We had fun and really enjoyed our first experience with B&B. We will be back next year.

Yelp
Dinner one night, happy hour second night. Solid food for the price. We order the shrimp cocktail both days as they are enormous and taste awesome. We went with wagyu filet with the salt trio which was tender and flavorful. Both trips we ordered the cheesy potato side. The sauce is awesome and we like it better than the lobster mac sauce which is a solid choice too. We did the hot rock which was fun and for the happy hour price quite the deal. It gets busy so when we are down here we usually do a drive by and if there are open seats at the bar we head in. Service is spot on and attentive and food comes out quick. The ambiance is nice in the bar area with a couple of tvs. It is on our rotation when we are in town.

Yelp
During my Scottsdale trip we went to Bourbon & Bones chophouse for dinner. We started with calamari, they were strips and very tasty but not many on the dish. I ordered the filet mignon medium rare, with garlic butter, cooked perfectly. They give youn3 seasoned salts to add, my favorite was the smoked sea salt. I had the key lime pie for dessert, really good pie and not too tart. Overall very nice place but expensive. They do a flaming bourbon on steaks, which was quite the show.

Yelp
I love coming here! The steak is always perfect and the service is always top tier. It's a bit dark and sometimes loud but the food makes up for it!

Ray D.

Yelp
Every detail was perfect, as you should expect from a fine dining establishment. The cocktails, appetizer and steaks were in a word, "perfect". The staff seemed to understand people spend a good amount of money for more than just great food, its the experience of dining out. From the hostess that greeted us to the manager that I saw visit each and every table there was nothing missing. The whole experience was really topped by our server, Brad. His professionalism was on full display with his recommendation of the amazing bottle of wine for our perfectly cooked steaks. It was my wife's birthday and Brad, along with the entire staff and of course, the fantastic meal really gave her (us) a great night. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Great Steak! Great Service! Great Ambiance! We came to Bourbon & Bones for my 46th birthday, this place is amazing!

Yelp
This was our first time dining at Bourbon and Bones in Old Town Scottsdale. . We made a reservation for Easter Brunch and had a lovely experience. We enjoyed Avocado Benedict, Lobster Benedict and Pork Belly. All were delicious and cooked perfectly. Our server was attentive and friendly. We are looking forward to dining again soon.

Yelp
Great food but felt that it should be better for the price. My friend's steak was ordered medium and it came noticeably overcooked. The loaded potato felt underwhelming, but the truffle fries were amazing and loved the mac and cheese. I got the petite 6 oz filet and I'm not super picky on my steak, nor am I a connoisseur so I was pretty satisfied. Our server was amazing but I'm not sure if it's because we came early or if they had an event or were super busy in the other room, but our table didn't get any bread while every table around us did. 5PM beat the dinner rush, we were the first table sat on the left side but they were pretty packed on the right. Again not sure if it was an event or we were just odd timing but it felt really cozy and was easy to converse without yelling. Loved the server and the support he had taking care of us, they were all super sweet and attentive.

Hallie M.

Yelp
Everything was perfect. Ambiance was great! The star of the show was definitely the high quality food. All of our steaks were prepared perfectly, we enjoyed sauces, crab toppers, different butters, and the trio of steak salts on the side! (Although it didn't need anything being rare elite prime and waygu cuts.) We also enjoyed a few appetizers such as the refreshing grilled octopus and the tasty grilled seafood platter. The lobster mac and cheese and brussels sprouts as sides were to die for! Menu items were recommended by our AMAZING server, Clinton. He was so positive and knowledgeable about both food and wine. The management team made us feel very special too by checking in at multiple points during our meal, even holding the door as we left. All the small touches went a long way. Knife box, folded napkins, the assistants, and food runners. 10000/10 experience. I would dine here again in a heart beat. Choose B&B for your dinner reservations and/or special occasions!!! Ask for Clint! Thank you B&B!

Yelp
If you go here "just" for the atmosphere and service you will not be disappointed!! Sarah, the manager, is outstanding and the our server, Katie Jo, was superb!I Mason was on point filling out waters with filtered water too. I can't remember our cocktail server's name but she was on point with our drinks and was so personable. Now, the food... I'm vegetarian and had an excellent meal and the meat eaters said it was the best steak ever! Our experience was top notch and, although we leave in California, we can't wait to visit AZ again and will definitely dine at Bourbon & Bones! Sarah, you and your team made our night so memorable! Thank you!

Yelp
You can't miss this if you love bourbon or high quality steak! Can you say Wagyu??? I only stopped for after-dinner bourbon delights, but I saw the food and witnessed people's bliss as they ate. BOURBON They must carry 99% of all bourbons in distribution. I lived their flights which were preselected themes to compare bourbons/whiskeys in a category. I enjoyed the high proof flight. COMPLIMENTARY BACON They surprised me by bringing a ball jar with high quality, thick cut, complementary bacon. It was perfect pairing with my bourbon! ATMOSPHERE Upscale atmosphere but I felt comfortable at bar in denim. They were busy but found a place at the bar after only waiting a minute.

Paula N.

Yelp
Food: my medium rare steak was medium and cool to the touch. The wedge salad was drenched with dressing. I couldn't eat it. ambiance: crowded and noisy service: we made a 6:00 reservation. upon arrival we were told that we would need to leave by 8:00. I thought that was an odd request but we took our table. We were finishing our wine and eating desert and twice we were approached about the time amd the table was needed for a group After spending $800:00 on dinner we were asked to leave before we finish our dinner. BEYOND RUDE

Renee M.

Yelp
Great food, atmosphere and service! We loved our server Katie and had a memorable night!

Yelp
Steak was undercooked. Medium rare was VERY rare. Brussel sprouts were so undercooked they were hard as a rock. Couldn't eat them. The waitress came by 3 times total on fly-bys. No chance to even tell her the issues. Had to get the busboy to take our credit card. $200 for crap. Avoid.

Jim P.

Yelp
After our experience, Haley from B&B reached out and apologized for how our evening ended. She was a delight to deal with, listened to our concerns, and even gave us a gift card to go back. I appreciated her follow up and feel good about how they responded.

Kristy S.

Yelp
The service was fast and friendly. Our wait staff was amazing and very attentive. She was knowledgeable of the menu and offer great suggestions. They have prime rib Sunday and Monday but sell out way too fast and only last an hour after opening. This dinner menu is the only reasonably priced menu item for a full meal at $52. The menu is way over priced but the quality does meet the expectation. The sides are shareable portions but the menu is not clear.

Yelp
Great food. Our server provided outstanding customer service. The ambiance is classy and elegant. The manager brought out free champagne for the new year! We will def comeback! Thank you again to the staff at Bourbon & Bones! I think our server was Jennifer. She made sure we were taken care of!

Yelp
We went to the Scottsdale location for my sister in laws birthday recently and it ended up being a horrible experience. The service was not good, as we had to wait forever before the server even greeted us and asked for our drink order. Took forever to place the food order , he never explained the specials, and he never came back to check on us. He seemed put out with us and just not friendly or accommodating at all. That kind of put a damper on our experience because whenever we visit the Gilbert location service is always phenomenal so we were just really disappointed by this. We didn't end up complaining about the service and - by the way - no manager ever came by to ask how things were going or how our dinner was or anything. The server gave us our check - a staggering $400 bill for horrible service - and I gave him our B&B gift cards that we received for Christmas and Amex card for remaining balance. Well, several minutes later "manager" Thomas comes over to our table and seems really angry and doesn't say hello to us or greet us at all. He just slams the booklet with B&B gift cards on the table and rudely explains that we can't use those. And I asked him why and he says we're only allowed to use one gift card per visit and I explained that I didn't understand why we couldn't use our gift cards, then he started getting even more rude raising his voice at me telling me that I can't use them and we need to give him another method of payment (he already had my Amex card). We were just in shock how rude he was to us for no reason. We asked him why he was being so unfriendly and rude to us. He then started verbally abusing us telling us that we are the rude ones and he doesn't want people like us in his restaurant to get out and never come back! What???? We were beyond shocked and upset that he caused my sister-in-law to start crying and we did not feel safe with him there we told him to get away from our table and he refused and he continue to yell at us verbally abusing us! I could not believe it. All the guests sitting around us were also shocked and dismayed by how Thomas was treating us, and a lady sitting next to us even reached over and told us that she was sorry that we had to go through that, and she was shocked that he would treat us like that. So he just made a scene in front of the whole restaurant for absolutely no reason. We did absolutely nothing to deserve that treatment. Was it because we are gay? Maybe management there is homophobic? There's just no other reason I can think of as we didn't do anything to deserve it. After finally settling the bill, we couldn't wait to get out of that horror show. On our way out, I asked the hostess lady if the general manager was on duty so then general manager Kent came out and he was hostile toward me from the get go and I explained to him the situation and he didn't offer any type of apology. He didn't offer to comp our meal or offer any type of resolution. So I left. With GM Kent's attitude, I can see why we received such bad service from our server and from Thomas. The GM sets the tone and expectation for the entire restaurant. We were just so shocked and upset by the whole experience. Verbally harassed, birthday ruined and $400 spent. We've had better service at Denny's. Why in the world would B&B leadership condone this? Several other yelp and google reviews mention the service issues with this location and how rude Thomas is specifically. Shame on B&B leadership. We are going to spread the word to as many people as possible to avoid the Bourbon and Bones Scottsdale location at all costs! There are so many other fine steakhouses in the valley that provide phenomenal service and truly value their guests.

Yelp
We had a great time at Bourbon and Bones! It was a busy Tuesday night but we came to celebrate my birthday. We had a reservation at 715pm but still had to wait 15 minutes past that for a table. Once we got to the table we were welcomed with the most delicious bread (French & pretzel) and ordered some drinks. My espresso martini was phenomenal, and my friends loved their drinks as well. They also have a huge selection of wine. We got the pork belly appetizer which melted in your mouth with every bite, but was a little small for 3 people to share. The ambiance was beautiful, and it was very cool to watch certain dishes be brought out and lit on fire (mainly steaks). I got the salmon which was delicious, and the lobster Mac and cheese was to die for and definitely a shareable size! For my birthday they offered me the bourbon butter cake which was delicious but you could definitely taste the bourbon, which was unique. The outside front area was great for pictures as well, a very aesthetic beautiful place overall! I will definitely be back and excited to try more dishes.

Yelp
We really enjoyed this place. Had a smoked old fashioned and a smoked tequila old fashion. Both were really good. My wife ordered the prime rib (which come with sides and is only available on the weekend) I had the prime filet. The table-side flambé is an additional cost but it's a must in my opinion. The service was top notch. We didn't have any dirty dishes on our table, didn't have to wait for refills, and our server was very attentive with suggestions. We couldn't have chosen a better dinner steakhouse option for Sunday.

Yelp
I had been there years ago last time I visited Scottsdale. It was so good, I had to come back. We reserved the private room for a group of 9 people. We had to spend a minimum of of $1,300 (which we easily achieved). We were greeted at the door and were immediately taken to the room. We did not have to wait, even though they were pretty busy. Once we got to the room, we ordered cocktails while looking at the menu. Our waiter, Logan, was very helpful guiding us through the drink and food menus. We ordered a lot of appetizers, and all were great. The bone marrow and the ceviche both came with plantain chips, which was amazing since I am gluten free. We ordered a few tomahawks to share for the table, and they also had a special Wagyu Ribeye Cap on the menu so we got a few of those too. Before we received our steak, the waiter let us each pick our steak knives (ranging in different sizes), which was a nice touch. The tomahawk was amazing, but the ribeye cap was even better, it just melts in your mouth. Normally, I don't like steak leftovers, but it was so good we took it home and grilled it the next day. We got them medium rare, so I was still able to keep them pink on the inside, and they still tasted really good. I can't wait for my next trip to Arizona so I can have more :)

Yelp
Came in with some friends that had not seen in a while . Decided to hit this spot and it's in old town scottsdale,AZ ... the place is nice looked super trendy good music . Just make sure you have time to wait cause they make you wait when tables are available. I had a salad not really the best . Tried to order a prime steak but they had ran out of them or got lied too don't know cause the table next to us came in after and order it and got it . I knew some of the people from the other table . My friend had the salmon . No taste ... this place seemed more of a place to just have drinks . So I guess if we ever comeback will be just to hang out and have a few drinks !!!

Yelp
When you pay these prices the restaurant has to deliver. They didn't. We were seated in an overflow building and despite being empty, were seated directly in front of the host stand and front door. It was loud and cold. The waitress suggestively selling ~$10 mocktails to my 11 year old when he wanted lemonade is shameful. The steak was good and the lamb was good. Otherwise this is a 1. The "Oscar" style was horrible and was a $30 add on. The crab was dried up from being under a heat light and there was about a teaspoon of bernaise. Creamed spinach had chemical taste. The waitress acted offended when I handed her a plate and she explained that she would have her assistant clear plates. No idea what that person did to earn a tip on a $150 per person bill. Total let down at a very high price.

Yelp
Met with a friend visiting from Texas so had to take him to a good place for a steak and drink. We were greeted very warmly by the host and we did arrive early but they accommodated us very quickly. Our server Katie was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu! We were in no rush and took our time and she made it a great experience! we were able to seat in there high tops which had open air and a view of old town which is fun since the weather is nice. The ambiance was really nice for a Sunday. Everyone was in good spirits. The amount of choices for whiskey scotch and bourbon was awesome. started off with glenlivet 21 and the blue cheese bacon wrapped dates... definitely recommend! They were BOMB! Then our main meals came out, Brussels with FAT pieces of bacon. They also weren't overly oily like some of the other steak places around here. They are still somewhat oily but not drenched. We also got the au gratin potatoes for another side which were very good as well. Main course I got the wagyu filet mignon which was definitely recommend. Every time I've been here, I have not been disappointed in there steak. My friend got their prime rib which they only serve on certain days from my understanding. He said it was phenomenal and some of the best he has had. The steaks come out with some different speciality salts that are infused with citrus, one that is smoked and one that is mixed with black truffle(I think) Overall delicious, good service, we took our time but I'm sure they would be fast if we were in a rush, and I will definitely be back again.

Yelp
Upon walking in we were Not greeted. We got in line to the reception desk. It was a Sunday night at 6pm, not busy at all, so to have a line at the reception desk seemed odd. More odd was waiting for 5 minutes standing there while 4 people were trying to choose where to seat guests in a half empty room? Seemed overkill. We had reservations. I ordered the Smoked Old Fashioned which was delicious! BUT I was charged for turning my Chardonnay Barrel Bourbon choice into an Old Fashioned? Charged for making it Smoked? Charged for my Ice Cube!!! This ended up being a $46 Smoked Old Fashioned!!! Then we ordered the Grilled Octopus. Tasty but again not a lot of Octopus for the price. Then we ordered the Caesar Salad. So good BUT TINY! Then I ordered what I thought was the star of the show. The Regular Steak Devils Hot Rock! It happens to be one of my fave things and not easy to find. It was Awesome! We also ordered the Filet and it wasn't great. Not much flavor. No great crust. We wanted to try the Chimichurri and had no idea they charged us for it. All & all We were bummed with it. We also got the Truffle Fries. They were very good but we asked for extra Crispy and didn't get that. We ordered the Broccoli and it was just ok. Not a big portion either. Then we got the Butter Cake which was Amazing! Our bill for 2 was $300 and my entree happened to be the $30 Hot Rock Appetizer so all and all it was Very Expensive and the restaurant should really be 4 dollar signs.

Yelp
Tasty and huge cocktails, big pours for wine. Bone marrow was too salty, but the filet properly cooked. Garlic butter, Bernaise, and bordelaise all good but chimichuri just ok. Lobster Mac and cheese large chunks of lobster. Butter cake meh.

Yelp
I was in town for the weekend with some friends and this restaurant was close to our hotel and some people we met recommended it. I made a reservation just in case it was busy being that it was a Saturday. We were dressed very casual which I normally don't wear to a restaurant but they have a bar area that is a little bit more casual than the dining room. We were greeted right away by the hostess and sat down as well. Our waitress Kate greeted us right away and asked if we needed any drinks. We ordered a couple glasses of red wine (Pinot-Russian River, Merlot-Rodney Strong) which were reasonably priced and tasted really good. We didn't order any appetizers but we did order a caesar salad. We shared the salad which they split it up in two. The flavor was just ok, it was lacking the caesar flavor, it was more like a mix of caesar and a vinaigrette combined. We ordered the 100z filet and shared it along with mac in cheese and brussels sprouts. The steaks came out on hot plates so be careful and they split it up for us which was nice. The steak was cooked perfect (med rare) and was tender. The flavor was lacking some salt n pepper. They also give you a plate with three different salts on it to use for your steak. The mac in cheese was cooked perfect but had more béchamel taste rather than a cheese flavor. It still tasted ok and the noodles were cooked great. The brussel sprouts were too big and when you try too cut them up, they split up and make it hard to cut in half. The flavor of the brussel sprouts were great. Our waitress, never came back to check on us to see how our food tasted but the manager Sarah came did come by and see if we needed anything. The place looked very nice and was busy. I would give this place another try just to see if would be better.

Yelp
Five years ago to the day I said YES to marrying my best friend and Yelp Elite partner! And for celebrating our anniversary she surprised me with a dinner to Bourbon and Bones! I've been eyeing B&B for some time now since we've starting vacationing in Scottsdale, AZ. B&B is just the spot to be! Passing by you have views of valet packed with exotics and a restaurant with window seating filled with folks dressed to impress! Tonight's reservation led us to be served by Logan and his wingman Bly. Service was excellent. These guys are the varsity team on a Friday night and don't miss a step when on duty. Bread was broken, two amazing jumbo shrimp served, and a beautiful burrata plate put down. The entrees ordered were seared salmon & asparagus, prime New York strip, and side of Au Gratin potatoes. Such a great meal Yelpstars and it was one to remember. If you're looking for a special place to dine, Bourbon & Bones is it! Thanks Logan, Bly and all staff! We throughly enjoyed your service, the food, and the ambiance.

Yelp
This place has been on my list since I moved to Arizona 2 years ago and I FINALLY made the trip to go there and I'm glad I did. My friend and I split the 14oz New York and ordered it medium. While it did look a little more red than it was supposed to be I think that was just due to them having to cut it in the middle and once we both cut into it the cook was fine. Flavor was good and the Garlic compound butter added the perfect amount of flavor. They also provide 3 different salts you can use which were a great addition as well. For sides we split a Caesar salad and the cheesy potatoes. The Caesar was your basic salad, nothing to crazy there. But the potatoes were really good and the way they were cooked made them feel a little less heavy even though you would think it would feel like a huge amount of food. The drinks were both delicious! I love when I can get a good drink with dinner without it being overdone. We also got surprised with a butter cake and I'm not a big dessert girl but it was SO GOOD. 10/10 get the butter cake if you have even the slightest sweet tooth. So worth it. We were both full and still almost finished the entire dessert. I will definitely be back to try some other things and we enjoyed our experience. Before I forget, ambiance is a little dark and moody vibe like a lot of steakhouses but you can still see unlike some places. It is a cute place but smaller than I thought it was going to be, I can see why they are fully booked a lot of the time.

Yelp
This place was great! Took some clients here for a business dinner. The atmosphere was cozy and classy. The steaks and drinks were fantastic. The Baratta was very nice and so was the tomato and mozzarella salad. It was on the pricey side, but very worth it. Service was fast and thorough. Great experience and I was able to close the deal.

Yelp
Our waiter was great but the food was a joke for how expensive this place is. The wagyu had no flavor compared to other steakhouses and the truffle mashed potatoes had too much truffle oil in it we couldn't even eat it it was so gross. The margarita was way too sweet you couldn't even taste the alcohol. By the time I was done with it and how I felt I could easily tell they hardly put any alcohol in it. For a 300 dollar bill for 2 people this place is honestly a joke.

Yelp
An awesome happy hour! This was our first time here and we had a great experience. Good food happy hour deals. Service was top notch and nothing short of what you would expect from a nice steak house. The complimentary bread and bacon were insanely good and I would return just for those items. Ambiance is trendy, modern, and bright with large windows that were open when we were there giving a pleasant inside/outside vibe.

Yelp
Food was good. And the service was good. We sat at the bar. The layout and feel of the restaurant is nice. The food is mediocre for the prices and how nice they think they are. We had the short rib it was really good. Overall good experience but nothing to go back for.

Yelp
Our family visits Bourbon and Bones every major holiday, and every single time, the experience is nothing short of incredible. The food and service are always top-notch -- and most importantly, consistently so. Our most recent visit on Easter was exactly what we've come to expect, exceptional in every way.

Yelp
Paid over $300 for mediocre food. Not only was it quite upsetting when it came down to the foods flavor and seasoning, but to have a "minimum" with a party of 10 is insanity. If the bill comes out to be 2.6k, I expect excellent service and quality food. I am an avid Dominicks and Maple and Ash fan, but coming here has to be one of the worst upsets there is. The lobster tail lacked flavor and was actually overcooked. As for the steak, there was little to no seasoning and it required the side sauce and sides to do all the work. My old fashioned and whiskey sour weren't up to the best par.. while the inside was "nice and dim and dressed to impress", I'm never coming back, I only showed for a friend's birthday, but that is the last time i'd ever step food in one. To those who want a genuine steak and great service, you will not find it here... AVOID!
