It was my first time here, and I enjoyed my experience. I ordered the Bayou Burger. The smoky taste was amazing. It was also a massive burger and quite juicy and tender even though I had asked for it to be well done. It also came with fries as a side. I would've preferred crunchier fries, but it was great regardless! While waiting for my order, they brought over delicious cornbread in the cutest little personal pan with some butter; it tasted great. I also ordered a cocktail that was strong, but delicious. I came in on a Friday night for a quick bite to eat after a long work week. The restaurant was nearly empty, but it filled up pretty quickly. They have plenty of tables and seating inside. They also have a handful of tables outside in their patio area. The restaurant looks fairly clean and tidy. The staff were polite and accommodating; they also seem to have quite a bit of regulars that they have really great relationships with. I would definitely come back again. I enjoyed my experience. Just a heads up, they are only open a couple days a week in the evenings. They are definitely open on Friday nights!

4/5! A few friends and I decided to venture out to Ashburn and give Bourbon Bayou a try. Some southern cuisine paired with some drinks sounded like a nice night out. The Food: I went with the Fried Chicken entree and also had some Gator bites. To start, the gator bites were very good! Cooked/fried perfectly with a nice flavor. However, for the price with only a few pieces, we all felt a little ripped off. I wouldn't recommend getting it and save your money towards another item. The Fried Chicken however, was absolutely delicious! The chicken was fried perfectly and the meat itself was tender and juicy throughout. And the portion size was absolutely huge! The Service: Service was great. Staff were friendly and attentive. Orders came out in a timely manner and water refills and check ups were done regularly. The Atmosphere: The restaurant is very nicely decorated, modern and clean. Plenty of seating inside. Overall, a 4/5. Delicious food and drinks. Food options are pretty pricey, but the portion sizes make up for it.

This was our first time having dinner there. We already loved the brunch, but dinner was amazing. The food just makes you happy and feels like you are at home. Our waitress Elizabeth was awesome and was so attentive. The chef really did his thang in the kitchen. Definitely recommend everyone go try this restaurant out!!!!

Attended a birthday dinner in the semi-private room. We had a fixed menu. I enjoyed the Bayou salad and crab fritters. I didn't care for the alligator bites or goat cheese on salad. I love the Shrimp & Grits. I didn't like the Bourbon cookies, they were burnt on bottom and didn't like the drink that accompanied them for dipping. I don't like Bread Pudding, but their pudding is tasty.

This place is a MUST! I reserved a table at Bourbon Bayou Kitchen for my husband's birthday and it did not disappoint. First of all, the interior is absolutely beautiful and the music puts you in a such a relaxed mood. To top it all off, the food is top tier and the portions are quite filling. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his birthday dinner. And I loved my selections. This was our first time dining at this establishment, but it most certainly will NOT be our last.

The food was so good and the black ice margarita was tasty. We had the specials that were on the menu. The southern egg roll stuffed with Mac &cheese, collard greens, and fried chicken with sweet potatoe puree changed my life. So so good!! Everything was good, tasty, and flavorful!! Highly recommend for those who love New Orleans style cooking and good southern food!!

My husband and I came here for our first date night out in quite some time (thanks to a gift card for Christmas!) and had a lovely time. The food was on point - my hubs thoroughly enjoyed the short rib special, and I the shrimp and grits, divine even sans meat which they accommodated for my pesca diet. The Boudin balls and oysters were also very tasty! The waiter was the perfect amount of attentive and fun, getting answers to our questions with total willingness and a smile. I made a reservation but we were seated at one of the smallest tables in the restaurant - normally not a big deal except my husband is 6’5. He was uncomfortable, so definitely clarify when making the reservation if you want a bigger table. We were especially excited to try the drinks, as we are craft cocktail enthusiasts and constantly struggle finding upscale bevies stateside that match that of cities overseas.. especially close to us in Loudoun! The drinks we got were mostly solid, though mention any allergies as some off-menu liberties were taken in preparation. We got the smoked cherry old fashioned and NY sour, both pretty good though the OF could’ve used more simple/bitters balance. They seemed to still be getting into a rhythm. Overall, everyone was very very kind, down to the hostesses, and food & drink wonderful. And as someone else mentioned, I also noticed the general manager circulating and assisting the staff, so that was nice to see. We will return!!

Soft opening so far so good. Reservations are needed if you want to eat at a table. Atmosphere is nice very trendy, great whiskey bourbon selection and great food as well. Simple menu not too complex, some traditional Nola dishes which is great authentic but full of flavor, no holding back on seasoning and spices. Not sure if there is live music yet, but I saw a piano so hopefully that is to come. Although a soft opening I can see this place being hard to get into as it grows in popularity. It was packed at 4pm when they opened. Definitely will be coming back for sure worth the visit and experience.
