I was in search of a reliable company to order several bourbons from. I wanted timeliness, quality products, competitive pricing and fast/careful shipping. I checked reviews and compared several places. I went with Bourbon Concierge. I am very very pleased with their services. The process was fast and their website was easy to navigate. I received my order in the time frame quoted. My items were packed very thoughtfully and carefully. Their prices were competitive as well. I would highly recommend using them if you are in the market for some high quality bourbons that you cannot find in your local wine/spirit. Thank you and I will be ordering again soon!

Order a gift for a friend’s Birthday. Great selection and great prices. They I found out i forgot the Apt. #. I called and left message. I got a call back within 10 minutes. Got the problem fixed. Well then my friend wasn’t home to sign. So I called again. They worked with me and my friend was able to pick up at the local UPS. I am sure I drove Ken nuts but he was so nice and polite. And keep in mind that this all occurred three days after the order was placed. My friend received his Bourbon and was extremely pleased.

Love this place. They have a generous inventory of common liquors, and several impossible to find items. Yes, you will likely pay a bit more than other places but they do it right, with excellent customer service from my experience. Shipping available for a premium but if they have what you can't find anywhere else, it's worth it. For example? Blantons. There wasn't a liquor store within a 20 mile radius of me that had it in stock(I called every one of them), yet the BC had plenty. Paid the extra $$, but had it next day. YMMV but I highly suggest you tool around their website, and pick up at their store if you can. Give it a shot and give them a chance. They are professional, knowledgeable and helpful.

FACTS 1. This is a LEGIT, professional business and they're excellent at what they do. 2. Shopped online - superior experience! Called in to ask a few questions; a real human being answered the phone. Annie was extremely friendly and helpful! 3. Received assurances package would arrive by an agreed upon date. 4. Order arrived ON TIME as agreed and exceptionally well packaged. All contents wrapped to the extreme (see pics). Annie even included the box to one of the items so that I could wrap it as a gift (Thanks Annie!) Commentary: Easy and fast process - pleasantly surprised. Annie gave me her word the package would arrive on time (pending any disasters on the UPS side) and she came through. That means a lot to me that I know someone who can keep their word in a business transaction. Her friendly attitude and knowledge gave me confidence that I was making a good decision - she did not disappoint. This is my new go-to spirits place (bookmarked).

I rarely feel compelled to leave a review, but The Bourbon Concierge is amazing. I wanted a special gift for a good friend and just through a random search I came across their web store. I placed the order yesterday before noon and it arrived today. That's pretty much faster than Amazon where I live. The bottle came with a special box and both were packed separately. The bottle itself was wrapped in about 20 feet of plastic wrap, placed in a shipping sleeve cushioned with air, and that was wrapped in bubble wrap. The box was also wrapped in plastic wrap and bubble wrap. Both were put in a heavy cardboard box with packing peanuts and secured with really thick packing tape. Needless to say it arrived in the same condition it left their shelf. My only complaint is that I can't afford a lot of their products (grin) but hope to one day, and when I can I won't hesitate to order from The Bourbon Concierge

The best high end spirits store in the US period and it isn't even close. Their product lineup is second to none but what sets them apart is the personal request concierge service they have. Want a hard to find bottle? They will do their best to get it for you!

I just received my order and was so so impressed with the communication, packaging and delivery. You made the process from beginning to end pure perfection and enjoyable. I found Bourbon Concierge while hunting the internet for someone who could help me make a fairly last-minute bourbon delivery order as holiday gifts to folks in multiple different states and they are my company's holiday heroes this year. The selection here, and the prices, are excellent compared to the competition. Trust me, I know after looking up what felt like every single spirits delivery company in the USA! And, this shop has more flexibility on delivery than most others - where many places I called into were unable to deliver to Virginia or some other specific locales, I was able to cover my entire corporate order here. I'm sure the pricing comparison may be different against local DC package stores, but for a place with this scope of selection, with online ordering and delivery available - there's no competition. Especially considering how many of these bottles simply can't be found at MSRP in the DCMA area, or in the states they deliver to. I called a bunch of shops and online businesses while looking and Bourbon Concierge was the *only* one who could do it all for me. Annie called me back promptly the same day I reached out - in the midst of the busiest time of the year - and even facilitated placing the order in bulk over email to save me the time of going through the online checkout. This place blows away the competition and next time I'm visiting my DC relatives, I'm looking forward to the opportunity to drop and talk booze. If you're looking for someone who can send Weller's by mail to states where it's hard to get, look no further - you won't find anyone with better pricing and service than these folks. Thank you BC for making my holiday season so much smoother! To the folks in the reviews complaining about UPS - well, there's nothing anyone can really do about package couriers. UPS is essentially the only option for commercial spirits delivery in the USA and if you order a bottle like this you need to be prepared to sign for it with an ID.

Extremely disappointing experience. I purchased an Eagle Rare as a gift, and the bottle never arrived. Despite this, Bourbon Concierge refused to issue a full refund and instead attempted to charge me for multiple UPS delivery attempts--none of which I authorized. The order confirmation I received stated "Delivered," which was inaccurate and misleading. Had I known the item was not actually delivered, I would have intervened much sooner. A company calling itself a "concierge" should offer proactive service, transparency, and customer advocacy. Instead, I was met with evasiveness, no resolution, and additional charges for a product that never reached its recipient. I will not be ordering from them again.

This retail establishment is exceptionally stocked, and exceptionally priced. If I had to estimate, I'd say that you're looking at least a 150% markup (example, the quote for a bottle of Eagle Rare was $129 where as it would run you $47 at the local ABC if it's in stock). That having been said, these bottles are very rare to come across and if you really want to have it, they are going to have that you're looking for. Consider all the treasures including multiple iterations of Blanton's, Pappy, Remus, Blue Run, Colonel E.H. Taylor and much more. The customer services was also excellent, no pushy sales pitch and I was afforded the ability to view the bottles at my leisure without my leisure. Favorite quote when she saw my surprise at some of the prices was "True story, you can spend $50 or $5000 if you'd like" to which my response was "Depends how thirsty you are"!

Placed an order from this store. My order was sent by ups and obviously requires a signature. UPS said they attempted three times. One we missed you notice received with no way to call or pick up the order. It was shipped back to TBC. TBC charged me $28 for shipping initially. It was then requested I pay the shipping back to them and a restocking fee totaling another $56. Unless you never leave your house do not order from here. They should make their preferred shipper accountable rather than passing their negligence on to the consumer.

Hyper inflated prices; check for yourself at their online stop. Plenty of other DC liquor stores with the same stuff.
