"A high-energy bar inspired by the French Quarter in New Orleans opened on the Las Vegas Strip in October. One month later, the doors are closed, the band is sent home, and even the website has disappeared from the internet. Bourbon St. Parade opened at the Grand Bazaar Shops in front of the Horseshoe Las Vegas on October 19. A spokesperson confirmed that the bar’s last day of service was on November 22." - Janna Karel

Great vibe of you're after some New Orleans big band jazz in Vegas. The staff do a great job at building hype for the parade that goes about 200 meters out the bar and back again once per hour.. if you're at the bar when the parade goes, make the effort to join it atleast once, it's a bit of fun. The tables are actually made from drums so you can drum along.. which is very cool .. but you will spill your drink constantly. Factor that into your budget, because the drinks are by no means cheap. The Irish coffee slushy is amazing.

This is hands-down The Coolest Bar I have ever visited in Las Vegas. It has a unique and fascinating atmosphere, excellent staff, world class live music, and amazing cocktails. It just recently opened, and we found it when walking by and heard the music and had stop in to check it out. It’s not only cool to check out once , but I will be back every night of our stay this week. A+++

I counted drinks as food cause there is no food :). We had 20 or so people show up here unplanned to celebrate the life of a friend from New Orleans. They had only been open a week and it couldn't have gone better. Band was awesome, drinks were great and the people and atmosphere were perfect. The second line is a blast as well. This is a must stop especially if you have any connection to New Orleans.

Best live band/music I've seen on the strip! The staff is friendly, restaurant is clean and upbeat. Must try their rice, beans and sausage bowl!

Just happened upon this place while strolling with my friend. It was a wonderful experience and even though it was a weekday, the band was awesome and the vibe made me happy! Can’t wait to visit again.

Yelp
Checked this place out last night at the Grand Bazaar shops and it's so fun! New Orleans themed bar with free live entertainment and a small dance floor. I guess the band member are from New Orleans. Authentic New Orleans drinks and the Drinks are STRONG (king cake shot is fun), but there's no food. Otherwise this place would have gotten 5 stars! Plenty of seating inside and outside, and it's right next to food in case you need to eat. Bartenders and staff are super friendly! Definitely fun experience especially if you're into free live music
