Boutellier, a Fancy New Wine Shop in West Hollywood, Opens Next to Tesse - Eater LA

"Named Boutellier, for the person in charge of the king’s cellar in 18th century France, a neon key logo marks the separate entrance to the shop. The space itself has a clear relationship with Tesse, with strong angles, dim lighting, and a blend of natural and stone materials to give it a modern look." - Matthew Kang

Bought a $100 bottle of wine - a ‘99 Bordeaux and when I went to open it, the cork disintegrated and the wine had gone bad. Tried requesting a refund and the owner never once apologized, was rude about it, and refused a refund, or even another bottle as an option to make up for it. His response was “people could say this all the time and we’d go out of business.” So not only do I lose $100, he also assumes negative intent and that I was lying, questioning my integrity. Not a great experience.
