Bowlarama

£7 for a pint of Guinness is extortionate. I get a business needs to make money, but get real. £3.70 2 minutes down the road. 4-£5 tons of places in the town. Don’t rip the piss out of people. I never leave reviews, however; you need to advertise those kind of prices on full display before pouring a drop.

Have been at Bowlarama Sunday afternoon. Samuel has done as amazing job at running the entire venue all by himself, signing people in, serving at the bar, taking food out and attending to customer requests. Leaving the venue with two staff - of which one was on break - is a really poor management choice. Samuel, however, deserves a reward. And more people on his shift next time.

Solid bowling venue, fun vibe. We were able to get a lane without a reservation on a Friday afternoon. Then we went downstairs and played darts—great game options. Staff were very friendly and gave us recommendations for the city.

Good facilities and good fun. Most staff seem too busy to preoccupied and I found some quite rude. Especially the brown haired girl who was working at the bar before doing the front door service. No manners at all, extremely rude and couldn’t even be courteous never mind raise a smile.

Not happy with my last experience here - I really love coming to Bowlarama as it is one of the few last tolerable late night spots to grab a few drinks. They ended up closing early at 20 past 1 without doing last orders and no warning that they were closing. We had just started a game and had full drinks that we just purchased ten minutes before, thinking the venue was open until 2am as advertised. Usually they announce its last orders but this time they didn’t. The house lights went up and our game was stopped out of the blue. The steward said they were closing early because “it was quiet” - every lane full with groups of people is quiet? I’ve definitely seen to quieter and they’ve stayed open to their normal hours before. We didn’t even get a chance to finish up our drinks before we were rushed out, no drinking up time. So disappointing from this place as it’s somewhere I was always fond of.

Never ever again! Website is an ableist joke and is in SERIOUS NEED of an overhaul to make it even basically accessible. Dates are not clear and special needs people therefore can’t get the dates they want. Staff are invisible and are far more interested in finishing inane tasks than they are in the people that should matter most: THE CUSTOMER. Those tasks do not pay your bills, THE CUSTOMERS DO! Not worth the aggravation. I will bowl elsewhere next time . Do not bother replying. I don’t want to hear your nonsense. and dont bother banning me either. I JUST BANNED MYSELF, PERMANENTLY. Do yourselves and the entire city a favour, PUT MORE THAN ONE MORE THAN ONE MORE THAN ONE MEMBER OF STAFF ON IN THE DANGED MORNING!

Just booked a session for adults with learning disabilities over the phone with Ariana. Ariana couldn't have been more helpful, clearly explaining the offers available to us and making sure we were able to pay individually. Extremely accommodating and welcoming, I look forward to taking the group to Bowlarama and am very thankful for the clear and considerate customer service.
