I would like to start by saying the staff and members of the bowling alley were very welcoming and helpful. We truly appreciated their professionalism and kindness throughout our visit.
Unfortunately, shortly after arriving (within about a minute), we experienced an uncomfortable racist interaction with a bowling group called “2 Legit to Split.” Our assigned lane was 43, while this group was originally at lane 42. At the time, multiple lanes from 31–42 were already occupied.
As we sat down to put on our shoes, the group complained and requested that we be moved. The staff informed us that the request was made to the manager, Mike, who also acknowledged that the situation seemed unreasonable. However, we were relocated in an effort to keep all guests comfortable. It is important to note that other nearby groups were not asked to move, ( the group in the lane next yo them were white & they didnt seem to be uncomfortable with them) which made the situation feel inconsistent and uncomfortable. So if you are brown or black & you happen to go here and they are in a lane by you. They may move you to make sure2 Legit to Split are comfortable because clearly they are very important.
In addition, we ordered food during our visit. After checking twice over the course of an hour, the order was never delivered, and we were ultimately issued a refund.
Despite these issues, we were still able to enjoy our time overall due to the positive attitude and professionalism of the staff. However, based on this experience, we would likely choose a different location in the future.
