Bowling Celnice

I was visiting Prague for a few days away from London and bowl frequently as a hobby. This bowling alley ticks all the boxes that a proper bowling alley should have that remind me of how many bowling alleys in London and other major cities are an absolute scam in comparison. Firstly, and most importantly, they have proper full-length lanes with free-fall pinsetters. I can't tell you how many times I have gotten false strikes on string pinsetters as most of the time the strings tangle and collide with other pins leading to inaccurate scoring. Here, you can really feel the difference as the pins bounce around more and you can convert splits with ease. Bowling shoes are mandatory which keeps the lane clean and spotless. I see many reviews saying their lane malfunctioned during their game and this did happen a few times during our game but the staff were attentive and fixed the lane quickly without any issues. Some people need to understand the nature of machinery and when it does sometimes go wrong, the staff will always fix it. Please keep it this way, away from strings. Bowling is a sport, not a carnival game! Secondly, bowling is charged per hour and not by game. You can bowl as much as you want within your designated time slot. For fast bowlers like me, this is an excellent way to squeeze as many frames and games out of your designated time slot without being constrained by the number of games you pay for. Prices are perfectly reasonable considering the location: you pay less during off-peak hours and pay more during peak hours. Also, you're actually bowling at a proper bowling alley rather than some silly carnival game string pin bowling alley with short lanes. Thirdly, the atmosphere is perfect for a bowling alley. No silly flashing lights, no stupid graffiti pretending it's art (search Lane7 at London Victoria!) and the lanes are well-lit. These silly features are intentionally implemented at many bowling alleys to make the place look trendy and to hide the fact that their bowling lanes are short and the pins are on strings! All you have here are the nice sounds of pins and no distracting lights that mess up your shot. Overall, 10/10 for bowling and everything else that they have. Will definitely return if I ever decide to visit Prague again!

Absolutely amazing bowling alley – perfectly planned and level lanes. If you miss here, it’s on you. Very easy to reach location, fair prices, and modern, fast lane automation.

There are very few bowling lanes, and the place feels overcrowded — there’s not much space between lanes, so it gets quite cramped. The air conditioning wasn’t great either, which didn’t help. Unfortunately, there aren’t many other bowling options in Prague, so it might still be worth a visit — just manage your expectations.

It was fun here., my first time trying bowling and I totally enjoyed it. You get pair of shoes to wear for d bowling thus ensure u bring some pair of socks with..haha. also they sell drinks here so non worries when u get thirsty as bowling can be a hard task but fun.

It would have been great if we were notified that it is closed for a week. And whole our group have to spend 30 minutes to get to their second filial.

Perfect spot for group bowling and munchies. The atmosphere is great! Next time I want to play pool, I'll give this place a look as well. Afaik, they take multisport as well.

Clean, large affordable bowling with 8 lines in the centre. Beer is ok because of Staropramen but that's good enough for enjoying the games with friends!

We started to play with no problem until at some point they stopped our game and kicked us out. Looks like the lane was booked at certain time but they didn't bother to tell us at any point. we only got a "the lane is booked step aside" nothing else. We got this because we went to ask what was going on if not no one bothers to come over to explain us anything. If they treat all the customers like this it's a "fantastic" place to be. Also they charged us for the time we played a game they didn't allow us to finish... never again

I like bowling tracks there. People are friendly and awesome. They speak English there - that's a big plus! :)
