Love the drinks, service and atmosphere at the tavern. The food is just average. The buffalo wings, sandwiches and French fries each get 5 stars. But the grilled peach salad had peaches that were not grilled and also not quite ripe. The French onion soup is good but not great. Our server, Danielle, was attentive and on the ball. Overall a decent place. We will be back.

Conveniently located a few miles south of New Hope on River Road, Bowman's Tavern is great casual watering hole. They have a well appointed bar, two in fact, a simple menu that would hold it's own anywhere, and the quaint ambiance of Bucks County.

Food was appetizing with great service. I wish I remembered her name, very polite and attentive to our orders with appropriate check-ins. The place was packed (it was Friday evening). Drinks were nicely presented and prepared. However the prices are a little steep, with mandatory valet parking as well.

We had a party and sat in a small room all to ourselves. Food was delicious. Our server, Danielle, was very pleasant and attentive.

Had late lunch/early dinner here while in the area. Mixed results at our table of four... Three burgers and one meatloaf were ordered. On the down side, two of the burgers were very dense/ hard to chew. The other burger was not as tough and the meatloaf and mashed were good. The fries and onion rings were very good. Also ordered a French onion soup that came out warm at best. Service was very friendly, though a little slow.

My boyfriend and I had a long day going through pa and on our way back to New Jersey we wanted some grub. Stopped to this lovely little place and WOW our expectations were blown out of the water. We had the 8 ounce filet, tender, flavorful, cooked to perfection. For mashed potatoes and green beans to come with it, it was a great price for a filling delicious meal. Our server Denise was so accommodating, always checking on us. She took care of us, and really elevated our experience. Then VALET, god was David a gem. You can tell this man wants to deliver the best service he can and it shines through, before we took 2 steps out of the door he was running to grab our car, he’s a lovely guy. Customer service & food = 10/10. We will be coming back every time we’re in Pennsylvania. Thank you Bowman’s!

We were intrigued when we saw the menu because across the top they listed the name of their chef and the sous chefs quite preeminently. For us, we thought this was simply a fancy burger joint, but it really is much more than that. The menu items were all notched up more than the traditional items and we had some really crazy great flavors. The service was really warm and friendly and we enjoyed our lunch greatly.

The long Island ice tea was top notch. The steak, mashed potatoes and green beans were excellent. The wait staff were very accommodating. It was my daughter's birthday and she thoroughly enjoyed her birthday lunch. I highly recommend making a reservation as you won't be disappointed.
