Boxcarr Handmade Cheese

One of the best cheese I've ever had. You can tell they make them with care. I visited them at the Cary farmer's market and got the Rocketteer's Robiola ash dusted goat cheese and the Classic Cream. I was so impressed with the two. The gentleman who helped me was very kind and helpful, and is another reason why I will be coming back. Thank you so much!

The Boxcarr Nimble Reserve cheese was fantastic..... My name is Gareth, I'm from France/UK, and staying with Friends near Durham. I'm using my friends account to leave this review as I don't have a google account and I never leave reviews, so this is new to me. I got my Boxcarr Nimble Reserve cheese from "uncle" Dave at the Carrboro farmers market last Saturday. I was impressed and inspired to hear him talk about the Boxcarr cheeses, the manufacturing processes and the context within which they are operating. It sounds like an exciting (and challenging) time to be creating tasty, honest, healthy, food. The Nimble Reserve cheese, once left in the air after removing from the wrapping, was rich in great flavours and character. If I was staying longer I would really like to explore their other cheeses. Boxcarr has some of the best cheese I’ve ever had and some of the best service as well. It was a really great price which astounded me because I felt like each artisan cheese could have been well over a triple what I was charged. Would definitely make this a staple of my diet if I were in the local area. Loved the discussion of the production. Could really tell they love the entire process.

I own a Catering Company and one of our Wedding Couples requested Boxcarr Cottonseed for their Fruit & Cheese board. After visiting and calling several special grocery stores without any luck, I called and emailed Boxcarr farms to inquire about ordering this specific cheese. Paul responded right away and offered to send the cheese to the Durham Farmer’s Market so I didn’t have to drive to Cedar Grove to pick it up. Once I arrived at The Farmer’s Market for pickup, the kind Gentleman working the stand was attentive and quick. He also gave me a generous sample of the Cottonboo, which was absolutely delicious. I can’t say enough good things about this company. Stellar Customer Service with a delicious product.

This Boxcarr 'Flamin Farmhouse' Jalapeño Pepper Farmers Cheese is incredibly flavored and loaded with vegetables! The flavor, texture, and moisture are superb!
