Ramen was flavorful, but just a little too salty for my taste (got the tonkatsu shio). Teriyaki chicken, pork katsu and tots were delicious! This is a pretty small restaurant so you'll probably have to wait if you have a party of 6+.

Google
Place wasnt too bad since it's new. Few seat so I really had to wait to be seated. The good thing was that they have a waitlist, so you can go shopping before they text you back.I ordered a red miso ramen taste, which was alright. There was the smoky pork, which reminds me of the chinese canned pork. But the smokey flavour really came thru, which was a nice touch. Too bad the gochujang wasn't much, and it's not really spicy for me, which would be nice for those who don't really like spicy food. Noodle wise was alright, but i wish they could have added more things like sprouts to enchance the crunchy parts. The pork was crunchy but like a jerky kind of crunch. But overall, it was good. I order the okonomiyaki tots , thinking that it would be small okonomiyaki, but nope, it was just tots with okonomiyaki dressing. So probably could change that name part.

I was excited to try this new restaurant, especially when I noticed teriyaki chicken and poke on the menu. The young lady who took my order was friendly, and the person who bought my bento/side mac salad order to me was very nice as well. I was on my 1/2 hr. lunch break. Order took 16 min., so I rushed back to work. What a Huge Dissapointment! Not only was the amount of chicken very little compared to other places I've tried, but it was burnt hard, smelled burnt, and extremely dry! No sauce to it, just dry "charcoal" teriyaki chicken. One of my managers noticed it right off. How does a cook even serve a customer chicken that is burnt this badly? Shame on you! Mac salad was a little sweet and had an orange tinge from so much carrot being added. $16 + 15% tip for take out. Not going back....not even for the poke! I pass.....$18 went in the trash. My advice: Be sure to look at your order before you leave.

Google
I love Boxer Ramen! Me and my husband have been to their other locations and loved it and Can same their new one at Cedar Hills Crossing is the same level of quality. Our favorite menu item is the tots, but we haven’t had anything there we didn’t love!

Google
I really like their food I ordered chicken Teriyaki which I was one of the best chicken Teriyaki I ever had . I'll give this place 5 start for the food 5 start for the service because the they're nice and friendly but the atmosphere I'll give it a 3 start only because the place is kinda small and crowded.

Google
Yummy !!!! Food was 🔥, although place had a smaller area for dining, but nonetheless, you will be rewarded with great tasting food. Thanks for opening a west side location.

Google
Best potstickers I’ve ever had. Place it’s a bit small to dine in, I’ll recommend order to go. Great portions great prices.

Google
The Kalbi short ribs are AWESOME! Mac salad is decent. Rice is rice. I will definitely eat there again. It's expensive, but good.

Yelp
The good: Service was friendly and courteous. The dining area was very clean and tastefully decorated. The table settings were so nice looking. The bad: Probably the most disappointing was simply the food. I wish I hadn't gone in blind and at least read a few reviews before throwing them my money. The food wasn't all bad. I gobbled everything up, but not without a struggle. First, I ordered the tonkatsu shiyo ramen. Tonkatsu is my favorite base and I was really looking forward to it. It was super salty. You could've diluted ut and made 3 bowls of ramen with it. The portion size was also disappointingly small. The bowl was full, but it was a small bowl, so of course it was. There was a few "pork belly" slices that were like thick, salty pieces of bacon. I asked for the "crispy pork belly" add-on that was basically that same bacon, diced and pan-fried. Salt on salt, on salt! Second, my wife ordered the calbi "bento." It was a meat plate with 2 tough strips of short ribs. It tasted ok. Its only redeeming quality was there were no bone bits I had to spit out. It came with a couple of scoops of room temperature (and slightly mushy) rice. At least the todorashi tots on the side were good. The sides were great. The tots that came with the bento were, indeed hot, crispy and really tasty. We also ordered karaage chicken and Olokonomiyaki tots appetizers (because I wasn't paying attention to my wife's order) were also really good. Perhaps I wouldn't have been so put out if we hadn't spent so much on the meal, because we could at least say we got what we paid for. But we didn't. Not by a long shot. This was our first visit to any Boxer Ramen. I don't see us trying out any of the other locations anytime soon.

Yelp
We came in on Thursday and had I written a review that night this would be 4 or 5 stars. We liked it so much we brought our kids back today and the food was shockingly different! My husband ordered exactly the same dish and it came out COMPLETELY different, Thursdays grilled chicken was perfectly cooked, with a teriyaki glaze, and white rice with seasoning on top. Looked like seaweed maybe? Garlic? But it was so good! Today's chicken was so burnt it was absolutely black. He was too embarrassed to send it back but I was shocked they could even serve that. Even if the cooks tried to pass it off, how did the servers not notice that every piece of chicken was black. The rice came plain, unseasoned. The macaroni salad is tasteless. Which is odd.... But if you try it, tell me I'm wrong. I ordered the pork katsu, and it was as tough and dry as a leather belt. I ate about half, it was extremely unpleasant, I hope that this was growing pains. We'll give it a couple months and try one more time but if the food is as bad as it was today we wouldn't go back. If I were rating thus restaurant off of todays visit alone it would be 1 star, but Thursday's experience was great. Here's to hoping!

Yelp
Step aside, Starbucks! This trendy restaurant is ramen done right. The transformation is incredible - you'd never guess it used to be a coffee shop. The atmosphere is buzzing with energy, with cool music and a modern vibe. We visited on a busy Sunday lunch and were told there would be a wait. But thankfully, we received a quick alert and were seated before we knew it! Our server, Bailey, was fantastic - friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. Now, onto the star of the show: the ramen! I dove into the Veggie Curry Ramen, and it was pure comfort in a bowl. The creamy broth had the perfect depth of flavor, and the veggies were fresh and perfectly cooked. Each slurp was pure satisfaction. We can't wait to return and explore more of the menu. If you're looking for a delicious and trendy ramen experience, this is the place

Yelp
My partner was so excited that this place was opening up so close to our home. He has eaten at another location and we finally decided to give this new location a try tonight. We waited about 15 minutes for our to-go order which wasn't as bad of a wait as I thought it would be since they had a full house. We both ordered Tonkotsu ramen and I couldn't take more than 5 bites. The noodles sucked. The broth was so salty I had a hard time tasting anything besides salt. The egg wasn't cooked at all which was SUPER disappointing because that's my favorite ingredient in ramen. The chashu was tough, when I'm used to it falling apart in my mouth. I'm truly confused on how my partner was able to eat his. His excuse was that he was very hungry, but now he's sick.

Yelp
I ordered take out but it was just as good! The servers were nice and got our food fairly quickly. If anything, I would say $17 for ramen is a bit much BUT!!! I'm not done haha, BUT, they give you a lot of toppings. The egg was cooked perfectly. If you bite, it will turn into runny yolk but if you don't like that you can let it cook more. There were 3 decent sized slices of char siu with balanced meat and fat sandwiched after another. Very tender. The little bacon bits I called it (haha) is I think pork belly bits. It added extra textures and a lot of savory flavors. The noodles were really good. For take out, it was still chewy, al dante and the soup broth was good. Because of the pork belly bits and char siu and the broth, it was a bit on the salty side. But overall, it was good. I also loved the green onion garnish. It added refreshing flavors. This location also have bentos if you're interested.

Yelp
Pretty good ramen spot! I tried the Vegetable Curry ramen, lavender lemonade and tater tots. I was so pleasantly surprised to see a lavender drink and it was delicious! The vegetable curry was very flavorful. My biggest critique was that I wished there are been more noodles and less broth. This is a cute place to eat before or after browsing small indie shops in Portland! FYI, there is street parking only and you might need to walk a bit.

Yelp
Pretty solid spot for a good bowl of ramen. Staff is super friendly, service was fast, and location is pretty prime; however pricing felt a little high IMO. Seating is also limited so if you plan on coming in parties greater than 4, it would certainly be a challenge to sit together. Selection of food was acceptable. I've never been to their other locations so I can't say I was disappointed by the lack of options. I wanted to order their karaage but unfortunately they had run out by the end of the night. Their fried Gyoza was alright but truly nothing to write home about. On to the Ramen. My wife and I both ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen which was decent. Good portion of pork slices, Broth was warm (maybe could have been hotter?) and flavorful. That being said there was nothing that really made it stand out from other ramen spots.

Yelp
A little disappointing. I ordered the spicy miso ramen to go and that could be why it was very underwhelming. The broth and ramen were cold and I felt like it was missing something. I also wish the egg was soft-boiled. It was super runny. The broth has some spice to it but not too much. The meat was also pretty chewy. Overall, not my favorite but again, it could be because I took it to go.

Yelp
I had been to the 23rd Boxer Ramen several years back and was very excited to hear that they opened a location in Cedar Hills Crossing. The menu is small but I think the options that they have are quite nice. I'm personally a fan of a smaller menu as I feel like it's easier to make a choice this way. The way the restaurant is formatted is that there are a few (and when I mean few it's about half a dozen tables) tables on one side and the kitchen on the other. It's quite a small space, which makes sense that their menu is smaller to accommodate. We went on a Sunday for lunch and were able to be seated immediately. Service was amazing and our server was incredibly attentive and checked in with us frequently. Overall, I'm ecstatic that they opened up another location in the Beaverton area and I will definitely be back!

Yelp
I stopped here for the first time and tried the Ahi Poke Bowl and tots. The poke bowl had quality ahi, a verrry generous amount of avocado, perfectly-sliced onions and cucumbers, over a big bed of rice. The tots were delicious too- great flavor & crispy. I'll be back to try the ramen.

Yelp
The ramen was really good! We had the spicy pork one and the vegetable curry and both were perfect!! I recommend this place if you are looking for a good, quick, flavorful ramen .

Yelp
When I heard Boxer Ramen was opening, I was intrigued to try it out since a friend of mine said they were really good. So we went to give it a try. The Ramen shop is quite small, since they took over the previous Starbucks, but that wasn't a problem. I assume due to the size is why Sushi is unavailable. We ordered Tator Tots and added pork for an extra $3. Initially we thought adding pork woudl be large crispy pork pieces, however it was about a spoonful tiny pork bits. The pork bits didn't taste good, it was chewy & hard. For ramen we ordered Tonkotsu & Spicy Miso Ramen. The ramen overall tasted okay, although tempurature-wise it was warm not as hot as we'd hope. The ramen came with the same tiny pork bits again and a few slices of pork. The slices of pork were small and couldn't tell if it had a char on it either. Overall, we weren't estatatic about the Ramen or Tator Tots. At least we gave it a try, but we still prefer our other local Ramen options. Service was amazing though! Very kinda and prompt service :)

Yelp
We went to the location over at Cedar hills and had a good dine in experience as our first time eating there. We had the spicy miso ramen bowl and the Tonkatsu ramen bowl and we also had the tots and pot stickers for an appetizer. We also ordered a plate of the teriyaki chicken with a side of white rice and tots as well as the plain ramen bowl with pork broth. Delicious

Yelp
Permanently closed. Loved this place. Although it was expensive. Hopefully they'll find a way to come back soon

Yelp
Was slightly disappointed that this location didn't serve sushi, however that makes sense considering how small this location is. The size of the location is a deterrent to making plans with large groups, as there are very limited seating. Finally onto the food, I ordered Chicken Kaarage and Tonkotsu Ramen. The Kaarage was delicious, however the Ramen was underwhelming. Overall I cannot see myself coming back here. This doesn't look like an ideal location to open a Ramen shop and I cannot imagine it lasting. There's much better food options in the area and Beaverton offers already much better Ramen shops than here. The interior and service was good though.

Yelp
New location that just opened up at Cedar Hills Crossing, right next to the main entrance of the mall! There's lots of parking available with lots of stores to shop at before or after dining. Be aware that this is a really small ramen spot, with tables catering towards parties of 2-4 people. It can be a little busy during dinner time, but the staff are friendly and patient and will start a waitlist where they'll text you if necessary. I had the Tonkotsu Shio ramen and the Chicken Karaage. The ramen was decent, though I felt the noodles were different from the ramen I'm used to (a bit pale in color, as seen in the photo). The karaage was hot but not crispy, but I thought the dipping aioli had a nice flavor. If you're already shopping along the strip then maybe stop by for a meal, though it isn't my go-to in Beaverton.

Yelp
Hard Pass. Went around 4 pm on a Tuesday. 2 other tables seated. Waitress was prompt, then came back after a good wait. Last we saw of her except to drop off the food. My son got the Miso ramen and I got the Pork ramen. Miso was very muddled flavor pallet. It was 'spicey', but not really. My son didn't finish it, and he didn't consider it spicey. The Pork ramen, where to begin? Oh yeah, no wait staff to check how things were. Bad, really bad. The broth was bland and tasted of nothing but maybe some vegetable stock? No pork taste or smell. And no Salt/Soy either. So desperately bland and needing salt is not how Ramen is served, maybe the cook forgot that part? The pork was bacon, a few slices, and well as some cubed crispy bacon. Poached egg, which I forgot to try. The needles had the texture/taste of being dried. Plenty of green onion! Nothing else stands out? I've had way better tasting frozen ramen or out of a cup. Had the fried chicken appetizer. Not even close. Came out a very light almost white color. Tasted like flour as opposed to potato starch and was very bland. Came with a side of cupi mayonaise. scallioned radish/carrots as a garnish was pretty, but not meant to be eaten? I like Ramen and have eaten at most of the places in the area. I get there are many different styles/flavor profiles, and I can appreciate that. This place is new, and I'm sure to run at a loss until the lease runs out. A steady trickle or "Try it and never come back" customers. It's not a place you go to 3 times if you eat anything but cup-o-noodles.

Jackie L.

Yelp
My second time here and really like their Ahi Bento and Togarashi tots. Service is fast and staff is really funny and friendly. Highly recommend

Yelp
A new ramen place that I went to try it out and felt unsatisfied after. Not too pleased with the ramen portion size because it was served in a cereal bowl and it costs almost $20. Service was fine but their ramen is pricey to be served in a small portion. Other ramen places serve their ramen in bigger sized bowls.

Yelp
I ordered tonkotsu shio ramen. It was very tasty with lots of pork belly chashu but this is not ramen. I frequently travel to Japan on business and I always eat ramen in different towns - I know ramen. The broth was overwhelmed with pork belly and the noodles were not ramen noodles. It was more like Chinese style noodles. I would call this dish a Chinese pork belly soup with noodles. I will go back again to eat pork belly soup.

Randall C.

Yelp
We came here on a whim (on the way home) We tried the shiitake Shoyu ramen expecting the usual watered down version shoyu ramen what is usually presented to us here in the NW. When our order arrived, the first sip of the broth immediately put a broad smile on my face. Seasoned shitake mushrooms, a perfectly cooked soft boiled egg and broth only known to me as from Japan. Noodles were perfectly cooked. Service was extremely quick with very friendly staff.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
I was excited to see that Boxer Ramen was opening up close to my work. My favorite is the red miso ramen, so that is what I ordered for lunch. Unfortunately it did not come close to what I was expecting. There was no flavor whatsoever in the broth and it honestly tasted like I was just eating noodles in luke warm water with a tiny bit of spice. My co-worker was happy with her bento meal though.

K. K.

Yelp
I love Boxer Ramen and I'm so glad they are in my neighborhood now! They have the best pork belly and Tonkotsu broth. Great service and I love how they have water waiting at tables. It's a nice place to eat after shopping.

Lauralynn A.

Yelp
This place is set up nicely, the staff is friendly and nice, but the food wasn't the best. The food looks presentable but the taste and texture is a little different.

Patrick E.

Yelp
The service was wonderful and we enjoyed our lunch at Boxer. We started off with an order of edamame and the chicken karaage, they both hit the mark. The edamame was just right and not overcooked and the karaage batter was tasty and crunchy. We had the Pork Katsu Bento and Tonkatsu Shio Ramen, both made for a filling and delicious lunch. This was our first visit and we plan on returning soon to explore more of the menu.

Marianne D.

Yelp
I was extremely disappointed with the teriyaki chicken bento that I ordered with a green salad. The salad had lettuce with browned edges and there was no dressing on it. The chicken had a lot of char and there was no extra sauce with the white rice. The food was not worth the $16 that they charged for it. I won't return.
