The Hottest Restaurants in Denver Right Now, Fall 2024

"With the breezy vibe of a modern beach house, this Stanley Marketplace newcomer feels as close to the shores of the Mediterranean as Aurora, Colorado, ever could — and the appealingly simple, simply appealing menu matches the atmosphere. Start with a spread like muhammara or golden-beet toum to accompany pita; move on to chicken shawarma or falafel, whether piled atop hummus or stuffed into a sandwich, alongside the Tel Aviv Caesar with pistachio dukkah and za’atar; and take the opportunity to peruse the small but super-cool wine list — it’s full of affordable surprises." - Ruth Tobias, Eater Staff

Here’s a concise, natural review you can post: “Had a fantastic lunch here! The food was fresh and full of flavor—I had the tabbouleh salad with chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a great spot for Mediterranean food in Denver!” Want me to give you a couple of variations (one more casual, one a bit more detailed and elegant)?

This was a great find as we strolled along Stanley Marketplace the other weekend. We were looking for a place for dinner and saw the raving reviews for this place. Place was packed but was immediately added to the Resy waitlist, got the table in less than 25 mins. Great staff and such warm service. Loved the food, pita bread was perfect with their hummus and the labneh, for entree, my chicken shawarma plate was delicious! We also went for mocktails and were refreshing. Wouldn't mind coming back again when in Denver next!

Google
Update: 5 star service from the owner. I am moving this to 4 stars based on the conversation I just had with him. Not only did he apologize for the customer service, but noted how they would address customer feedback in the future. He offered a gift card to try them again, which I will be doing in person instead of doordash to remove variables and will update after having the food in person to reflect the food and atmosphere stars as well. 1 pita for a 10 dollar dip… the portions are ridiculous for the price. The food is fine but honestly go to any real Mediterranean restaurant instead and get better food at a better price. Poor customer service as well. I called to ask about the portions thinking it was a mistake and stated the above and just got an ok thanks have a good one.

This is one of those places that makes me cringe a little on the hit to the wallet when I order pickup. And yet I drive almost 20 minutes several times a month just to enjoy this place. The Chicken Shawarma Plate is loaded with goodness from the hummus to the tabbouleh. I think about the Muhammara far too often. And the mint lemonade is the perfect accompaniment. Now, that perfect combo as a meal will set you back $40. And yet, once I bite into the pita, my regret fades away. And when the plate is clean, I’m already looking forward to the trek back (while fostering ignorance to the tab).

Google
Obsessed at first bite and started planning my next visit! Gorgeous setting with both indoor and outdoor seating. Creative cocktail list and select wines. The falafel plate was absolutely delicious - fresh, flavorful, filling. The za'atar fries were served with a balanced spicy Greek yogurt dip. Perfectly toasted pita. I am so eager to return!

Google
Delicious fresh food. Very slow service (and we were literally 1/2 tables inside on a Saturday at lunch and took nearly 30 min for a gyro plate and falafel plate to come out). The hummus, muhamarra, and baba ghanoush dips were all delicious! Entrees were tasty as well. And unforeseen highlight: the clarified piña colada ! All the great flavor without the thickness and heaviness of a regular one. Very unique and tasty.

Alicia Glassmeyer

Google
A friend suggested this spot for dinner, and I'm so glad they did! The space is beautiful, the food is amazing, and the service is great! The hummus and whipped feta are must trys!

Diana

Google
Absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food is both delicious and affordable. I ordered the fried cauliflower, and it was hands down the best salad I’ve ever had! The hummus was also fantastic. So glad this gem is so close to home—we’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

Yelp
Very cool market place. It was Stanley Aviation from 1954 by aviation pioneer named Bob Stanley. Some display from the old time. The market is consisted with restaurants and shopping stores. Great spot for tourists like me. Live music and events thru out summer as well.

Yelp
Stanley Market place has a lot going for it. The variety of shops that make up the marketplace are very unique and makes for a fun window shopping locale. The selection of restaurants/food markets is also quite fun to peruse. The marketplace itself is clean and has security that is visible. The Marketplace has been a great addition to the old Stapleton area. As a result, the marketplace has some cute historical nods back to what the spot used to be. On this venture, we visited the Traveling Mercies, Maria's Empanadas, and Cheluna Brewery. All very fun and fit perfectly into the style and theme of the Marketplace. It was much appreciated that they have waved the parking fees for the holiday season. However, charging for parking is not a great look for the ownership here, so hopefully they will remove the parking charges for good after the holidays.

Yelp
It's air conditioned, great for summer hangout. Lot of cute shops and restaurants. You can get almost everything you need under one roof, clothing, food, ice cream, hair salon, toy shops, lovely book shop, art shop, kid zone, pet shop, art piece displays and so much more. We love the vibe and the surrounding, parking is easy too. Hope to come back again.

Yelp
Follow through by the company as promised. They did nothing. Accidentally gave company incorrect home delivery address. After giving them the correct delivery address, they said they couldn't find it. No food and no refund of any kind. Nancy Connelly

Yelp
A really great place to combine food, shopping, and some good time with companions. Stanley marketplace has lots of food stores, restaurants and a bunch of stores selling books, top quality fashion goods. I have seen a salon, a pilate spot, a gym and private party spots as well. There was live music on first floor hall when we walked in. We had some good empanadas and bonbons there. Did some shopping from couple of the stores. One of the cool places to visit when in Denver. Parking is free for first 3 hours at Stanley's parking lot. Then $3 per hour afterwards.

Yelp
Finally made it to this venue!!! It was worth it. I totally love this marketplace. Here, you can find various unique shops and places to eat! I fell in love with some of the stores they have here. It's a great place for gift ideas, dates, get togethers, and food. I will definitely be coming back here! Btw, Sweet Cow is here and is absolutely delicious!:)

Yelp
Packed on a Saturday afternoon! This a great spot to bring your pup, sit on the patio, watch the days sports and people watch. Love their pour and drink bar, pour your own drink and leave a prepaid tip, drop your card on the way out the door. The appetizers are the best. Be sure to try the green chili tots, omg they are the bomb. The staff are always super friendly and make it an enjoyable experience.

Yelp
Growth isn't always about money or status. Sometimes the best growth is within you. The way you think, the way you feel. Come to Stanley Marketplace and you'll have nothing but good vibes and the feels. If you love food halls or unique marketplaces, this is the place to be. Nestled in Aurora, this gem sits amidst a quaint neighborhood and the industrial area. Plenty of parking even during events, I love coming here to see what gets changed out and brought in. My favorite shops are scattered among here. Industrial Luxury is perfect for your plant parents if you are needing a hard to find plant or needing to level up your pottery. Poppy and Pine offers fresh flower stems for purchase along with the loveliest scents and knick knacks or stationery if you love pen to paper like I do. True and Sterre let's you snag fashionable finds that won't make you a carbon copy. Plenty of eateries to choose from including, Denver Biscuit Company and Cheluna Brewing Co, and Churreria de Madrid feeds my churro appetite. If you can't decide, grab an empanada or two at Maria Empanada or some macaroons at Miette et Chocolat while shopping. So many cute nooks for photo ops throughout the shop. Feeling restless or needing energy boost, you can dock with your laptop at any of the seating areas. Or get an escape from the work day by taking a kick boxing class here. My favorite is the rotating exhibit and live music events here. I came for the immersive Salvador Dali exhibit and just did the Space Explorers. WOW, it is taking art into the most surreal experience. You can spend a day here and tire yourself out. If you had to put your soul on a diet, come here to avoid stress, envy, negative vibes, doubt or deceit.

Yelp
Stanley Market place is one of those unique businesses that I would like to see more of in the world. In a world of corporate malls and shopping center franchise chains, Stanley Market stands out. With quality local food and small business shops you can spend the whole day here in this lovely community Stanley has built. Located 25 min from the airport, it's a great spot to eat and kill time before checking in for a flight at Denver international airport. Built out of the bones of an old airplane hangar that once serviced the Stapleton airport, the market has a variety of good and services.Food and drink, as well as shopping and wellness services. Welbess services range from physical fitness and therapy to dentistry and educational classes (cooking sewing etc). On top of all that, Stanley also owns Stanley House Apartments on the property for rental leasing and farming on the property. They is an establish that is truly building a community around itself. Some of the businesses here include: Food and drink Quick bites: Coffee-Logan House Coffee Breakfast- Rosenberg's bagels Sushi- Misaki's Empanadas-Maria Empanada Sit-down dining: Denver Biscuit Co. Annette Boychik Cheluna Brewing Co. Chi Lin Asian Eatery Comida Famous J's Desserts: Churros and coffee-Churreria De Madrid Ice cream- Sweet Cow Chocolatier-Miette et Chocolat Beer and cocktails: Traveling Mercies cocktails Cheluna Brewing Co. Stanley Beer AND THEY HOST REGULAR EVENTS! I went to an Asian market they hosted where I had some phenomenal boba and ramen. Plus they had a dog Kimono parade. It was lovely. Heads up, Stanley has started charging for parking is you spend 3+ hours here because of their parking lot has limited space. If you're in and out before the 3 hours is up, it's free.

Yelp
Boychik was awesome at Stanley's. Excellent service!! So friendly & attentive. Hummus delish. Tabouli salad dressing s the bomb, so fresh and flavorful. Lamb wrap bursting with flavors !

Yelp
We have been hearing about this place since it opened. We were expecting something a bit more spacious and well lit like a mall so it took us time to find what we were looking for. We needed a snack before heading home to Boulder mid afternoon on a weekday, after an appointment at the nearby medical center. Not a great time to see anything at its best. I know the historic base of the Market and all that has ben built out here ever since the old airport closed. I flew from that airport for decades and am amazed at what a nice community has been built on the grounds. The music was good, when we arrived they were playing Queen for while and after that, I could not identify the rest. We walked around a bit, saw many cute shops, eateries, large and small. The bigger brew pubs appeared empty and that should have been a warning, this was an "off hour" at its depth. But we viewed a few things, stopped in to compare the Sweet Cow here to ours at home in Boulder County where it was founded. It was very cute and reasonably busy, more than most of the other places we saw. And nice that they have more dedicated outdoor eating space than the 3 we have visited from home in the past. Most of the retail shops were not aimed at people our age and we had not enough time to really browse. We wanted a snack before heading home on the highway before rush hour peak. Hopefully some time we will get back here, hungry next time and when they are more bustling with visitors so the food we did try at one of the eateries will be fresher. And they can play Queen again over the sound system though I am open to many more options too.

Yelp
THE INFINITE at Stanley Marketplace If you're wondering what it's like to be in Outer Space or spending time on the Space Station then Space Explorers: THE INFINITE is where you need to be. The VR experience is hard to describe as everyone that goes has a different experience and sees different things. I will say that you will truly know what it is like to be in space. Walking in the Space Station you can go from Crew Quarters, to the Mess Hall to outside on the Space Station where you can view back into the Space Station or the Planets and Stars as you fly by them. Both the visual and audio experience is truly difficult to describe here. But I can tell you once you have completed your mission you will truly begin to understand what it feels like to be in Outer Space. I say all this with the experience of being a Hot Air Balloon Pilot and understanding what it's like to float in the Earth's atmosphere. Again the experience of going to INFINITE is hard to explain but you really need to go and experience it for yourself.

Yelp
Came to the hop sock party and let me tell you it was an amazing event!! Easily 40+ vendors of soem of the top eats in town. They had everything you could imagine from sushi to bbq to ice cream to Mexican food to beer and cocktails and liquor. I could only upload 10 pictures but lord have mercy! I have to say my favorite was the chicken shawarma and they are moving into the Stanley marketplace in the weeks to come. Second was either Gque bbq or poke from Kona grill. Blanco had amazing home made tacos and tortillas. Sweet action was phenomenal. There was this baker that had the best peach cobbler I've ever had. Stk had beef carpaccio. Bonefish has slices of ahi tuna. Welt room had this Vietnamese espresso ice cream that had me wanting to lick the bowl clean. Stranahans whiskey was perfect per usual. They also had silent disco to get your groove on, a live dj to dance Mexican food and pizza and even a Photo Booth. Matt did an incredible job and every place in the Stanley marketplace is worth coming to and some! Favorite event of the year so far!

Yelp
Super fun place to people watch, bring kids outside to play. Many food venues. Loved the BBQ place. Have tried the empanadas, chocolates, the ice cream & bagels etc. just too many to name. I think the front needs some sprucing, plants and a bit of paint.
google avatar

Yelp
Great place for local shopping, to grab a bite to eat or be active! Enjoyed learning about the history of the building prior to the shops and restaurants.

Yelp
When visiting Denver for a conference, I asked the Denver Yelpers where to go and many recommended this spot and I am so glad they did. My friends and I arrived on a Sunday mid-morning and we were on the wait list for the DBC so while we waited, we did some browsing around the marketplace and did some shopping. There are so many local spots here to support from clothing to wine to candy and chocolates as well as lotions and health items. We had a great time browsing and I think we all bought some goodies to take back with us. We had a fun little photo shoot outside the venue and enjoyed the time we had. I noticed that they had lots of other food options where people could order at the counters and find a table to hang out at to enjoy their meals. It's a cool concept. While I was there, I even noticed a few people around our age and approached them to ask for some recommendations of things to do in the area. I was so impressed with their response to a stranger talking to them and they also provided me some good recommendations of things to do for the day. I am not sure who those people were, but I did appreciate their friendliness. Never be afraid to approach strangers, you never know what you may find out from them!

Yelp
I really liked the Stanley Marketplace! I went here in search of a brewery that was inside the building and amongst the shops. It's a very interesting mix of businesses here. There is a fairly large tap house that is apart from the brewery and all of the shops and little food court restaurants have different influences and ethnicities from around the world. They all appear to be small, independently owned businesses that make up the majority of what is here in this marketplace which I can't tell you how refreshing I found that to be. You can spend quite a bit of time wondering around through here and then... at least innmy case... feel like you would need to come back to see more for what you may have missed. Really a cute set up here and pretty unique which more than easily gives me the motivation to return. And that brewery would be worth coming back to as well!
google avatar

YiQing G.

Yelp
Ramen, sushi, empanadas, baked goods, local shops. You can find anything here. I loved it so much and this was my very first stop in Denver. I enjoy the food selections and the shopping experience. Great place to spend for a few hours during the hot summer weather. We had the sushi place and we liked the chicken karate. The seaweed salad is a little too salty to our liking. Sushi roll was yummy too.
google avatar

Savannah K.

Yelp
Stanley Marketplace has so many great food vendors and fun little shops. It's a great place to spend a day bopping inside. If you are craving a particular cuisine, you can likely fulfill that craving. A lot of seating throughout. I would recommend getting 1-2 things from various vendors and splitting with your table!
google avatar

Nizel A.

Yelp
Great place to stop by and grab something good to eat. Always finding something new and delicious. Lots of variety as well!
google avatar

Kelsey T.

Yelp
Not sure why it took me so long to visit this place. This is a great place to grab a bite to eat, hang out, browse some shops, buy some cutlery, clothes or even plants. I'd suggest coming here if you need a variety of options of food to choose from on those days you can't decide what you want to eat!
google avatar

Madeline S.

Yelp
I wish I took photos while at Stanley Marketplace because it is so cool and artistic! There's tons of awesome murals and I went during the holidays and they had it decked out with decorations. There's a ton of different and delicious restaurants, cute shops, and even fun events. For the holidays they did a silent disco, drag events, and more. They have a beer area that has 20+ beers on tap. I don't drink personally, but it was still a cool environment. I love this spot a lot. The parking was pretty packed, but they have an overflow lot, so you can make sure to find a spot and it's still pretty close. I highly recommend!

Jacqueline M.

Yelp
Lots of food and drink options. The people were very nice. There was an art fest going on and being able to walk around with a cocktail was great.
google avatar

Shirl V.

Yelp
Stanley market place has many delicious restaurants and shops a great place to visit and shop on the weekends
google avatar

David F.

Yelp
Lots of restaurants. Chi Lin....yum. Sweet Cow for ice cream. Minecraft upstairs for kids. A brewpub, a Tattered Cover kids book store. Comida for Mexican food. Some clothes store. Yes, it is where Annette's is located. Lots of people shopping and eating out. The biggest impression I have is, "build it and they will come."
google avatar

James T.

Yelp
Really fun spot to visit. Over 50 shops of food and retail. It is two levels. You can easily spend 4-5 hrs here and be happy. We had brunch at the Denver biscuit company, and it was very, very good. There is plenty of seating inside and out, and everyone is super friendly
google avatar

Nicole F.

Yelp
Saturday, March 25th, 2023 Free private parking lot and easy to get to Stanley Marketplace an indoor venue to grab some Mexican fare at Comida, a pint at Cheluna Brewing Company, an ice cream cone at Sweet Cow, an empanada at Maria Empanadas, or a bowl of ramen at Qi-Lin (seriously, their ramen is legit!). Although we only walked, shopped and ate on the first level, there's an entirely whole 2nd floor of greatness. We loved this marketplace, all sorts of people enjoying their time, live musicians, children enjoying ice cream, others gathered around musician enjoying their food/drink. We got our half dozen empanadas and headed out to the airport. We highly recommend this marketplace for any and all. We will be back to try more food and to shop.
google avatar

Brooke H.

Yelp
Perfect place to stop in if you're visiting with a group of people who all have different tastes. There's restaurants of every kind and variety. We had a Mexican restaurant on the very corner/exterior and is was SPICY but great. Not very crowded for a Thursday night, but service was quick. The guacamole and chips are a great starter. The chips are puffy and bubbled crisp with some sort of seasoning on them that made them so addicting. I had tacos and they were messing but so delicious! The chicken had some sort of seasoning on them that made them pretty spicy, which I'm in favor of but if you didn't like spicy I wouldn't order it. All tacos at our table had great reviews! Can't go wrong here.
google avatar

Kristina B.

Yelp
Everything is very expensive, great variety of small businesses so we treat this place as a treat! Paid parking after 3 hours.
google avatar

Edie A.

Yelp
Stanley Marketplace has my vote for taking care of its patrons and making sure they are safe. I have been here many times but usually with a male friend. This time I was with a female friend and we were followed from an exhibit area to the brewery by two men. The bartender was amazing and made sure we were ok. When he saw the man come sit at our table and not leave, he called security. Security escorted them out and reassured us that if we needed an escort to our car, he would happily do it. Thank you to all who helped.
google avatar

Ashley A.

Yelp
Beers, bagels, biscuits, bbq and sea salt chocolate chip cookies. All under one roof? What more does this hungry girl need? Ok, let's add ice cream, fresh pasta, imported cheese, empanadas, churros, sushi and a James Beard chef. Literally could not purchase a house in walking distance due to lack of self control. They are such great stewards of the community and supporters of small businesses, I love everything about it. I'm ashamed it took me this long to review them as I support their businesses so often! I do miss the doggies being allowed inside, but as you grew, it was bound to happen. Would be awesome to have those air conditioned dog houses where you can leave your pup and pay by the minute when you go to grab your takeout.
google avatar

Yelp
Very nice indoor open concept marketplace that offers restaurants, shopping, and other stores. Plenty of parking outside. Great place to walk around and explore the many shops. And perfect place to get drinks and food once you get hungry.
google avatar

Lewis B.

Yelp
I love this place. Don't forget to check out the toy store upstairs, one of the coolest toys stores for sure. "Sometimes when I'm bored I like to set up the elevator and run up the stairs to try to beat it." - probably from Bible.
google avatar

Shani K.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place waiting for a reservation at the Denver Biscuit company. If you're coming for that, be ready to wait. The market place is an eclectic building with shops, bars and food. I'd almost equate it to a food hall but there's other businesses for shopping. Instead of waiting on the biscuit company we opted to try a few of the other food stands. We went to Maria's Empanadas; surprised that they were hot and ready like they just came out the oven. I liked how each empanada was branded with the name of it. And we had nachos and tacos from Elita's specialty market. The tacos and nachos were kinda bland.
google avatar

Kynton C.

Yelp
Tons of stuff to do throughout the year. Great restaurants. I love coming to Stanley.
google avatar

Katherine H.

Yelp
A bit of everything for everyone. Great food places, a toy store, a kids book store, cooking classes, a chocolate shop and comfy seating. It's really worth checking out. Parking is free but can be hard to find a space on busy days.
google avatar

Jennifer H.

Yelp
It's a cute little food court center with different little food stores and restaurants. Very cozy environment! Recommend!
google avatar

Kathy Z.

Yelp
Love love love this eclectic, indoor mixed-space of an ice cream shop, a brewery, a boxing gym, a Pilates studio, a delicious empanada joint, a clothing store and much more. There's plenty to do and see around here. Definitely expect an all-ages crowd. Great place to hang out, grab a bite, meet a date, or babysit. There's ample free parking all around the area. Definitely worth a visit!
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
What a great space! Love the history of the hanger and the repurposing of the space. Huge variety of restaurants, bars and specialty stores worth taking the whole family to. Lots of free parking, safe neighborhood and a very trendy space. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Our friends had a party at one of the restaurants at Stanley marketplace. I was blown away at what an amazing place the marketplace is. Amazing shops, bars, and restaurants. Whoever had the vision to re-purpose the property is a genius and did an amazing job in execution Go here and just chill

Glenna L.

Yelp
My family and I are always happy when we dine at the Stanley Marketplace. There is no limit to our choice of food. We seldom have the same food but are usually very happy with what we've selected. We enjoy bringing guests there as well. Glenna L.

Yelp
Rating the market and not the individual businesses, Stanley Marketplace didn't live up to expectations. To start parking was a complete nightmare, and given how difficult it was to find a spot you would have thought the place would be packed, but it wasn't, so it is clear they need way more parking than is available. The building itself is kind of run down. I understand there is an original landmark vibe they are going for, but it just ends up feeling kind of dirty everywhere you look. They do have a good variety of places to check out, but mostly things you can find other places in Denver (like Denver Biscuit Co.) without having to go to the market. Lastly they lack good communal seating. There is an area in front but it is clear that areas by each business are for that business which defeats the purpose of going to a market so everyone can pick and choose what they like. TL:DR - Stanley Market is a landmark that is past its prime and needs to be replaced
google avatar

Delaney D.

Yelp
Amazing little shopping area with different foods we always stop at the Denver Biscuit Company and have never had anything we didn't like!

Crystal G.

Yelp
This was our first time at Stanley. We absolutely loved it, such a fun atmosphere w the little shops and restaurants, not to mention the live music. Enoch, the security guard there was absolutely the most friendly and polite person I've met in a long time! I hope Enoch's employers treat them well, they deserve it.
google avatar

Stephany S.

Yelp
This market has many unique shops which would appeal to different people with different needs. And several restaurants to get a tasty meal in a casual atmosphere. It's family friendly too. The place is decorated with funky artwork. Every shop owner is pleasant to deal with. I've even taken relatives from out of state to enjoy the market. I'm definitely a repeat customer!
google avatar

Jacqueline V.

Yelp
Diverse and artsy! Lots of choices of places to eat and price ranges. Kid friendly. There was a fashion site the night we went from a trendy designer store.
google avatar

Michele B.

Yelp
I like walking around this unique space and seeing what they have in the shops and restaurants. I love the industrial decor and design. The shops are pricey, as to be expected. The restaurants are all good, you cannot go wrong with the food and drink options at any one of them. I've had several work happy hours here and all the spots are enjoyable and have a relaxing atmosphere. Our teenager took voice lessons at Neighborhood Music and loved her time there. Outside the beer place is a fun outdoor area. Something for everyone. Come check it out!

Daniel ..

Yelp
Great concept. Brought food from Maria Empanada into the Beer hall. Great drinks. Will come back!
