Bozeman Ranch Hotel

I’m really happy I came to Bozeman ranch hotel. My husband literally found it last minute and the owner/worker was very friendly and welcoming. Since me and my family just moved to Montana I really felt like we scored with this cute rustic hotel. We got a double room and it was perfect to let our 19 month old run and burn energy inside, since it’s snowing like crazy outside. The furnace works perfectly and the water gets nice and hot. Everything here is better than I thought !!! I really appreciate this place and the people for not turning their back on us!!! Cause we are from San Diego California and I heard horrible things. I am recommending this place to my family and friends so when they come visit they can stay here!!!!!

We stayed here two nights out of our week and had a fantastic time. It was a simple and very comfortable room with amazing views out the back window. The front desk was very helpful and even recommended some dinner ideas, which were amazing. They even helped us out due to my own fault of forgetting my fishing pole in the room by placing it in the office for safe keeping! When we return, we will definitely stay again!

This is a clean, quiet motel run by a mom and son duo. They’re incredibly friendly! It is a motel, so don’t expect every bell and whistle, but it has everything you need. Also, that close to downtown for that price? That’s priceless!

This hotel had excellent customer service! My son accidentally left our Kindle in the room when he left. They contacted us when it was found and were able to mail it to our home. I am so grateful they were willing to do this and the device wasn't lost for good.

Driving by Bozeman on a road trip and needed a place to stay. Very nice staff got our room reserved over the phone, check in was easy. The room was small, very basic but over all clean. Bed sheets had hair on them, towels didn't look too clean so I'm glad I had my own. Has private entrance to each room, and was dog friendly. Most affordable hotels we could find for one night stay.

We were vacationing in Bozeman during MSU graduation weekend and needed a place to stay whose price was not astronomical. We got a great rate at this motel and could not have been more pleased with the quality of our stay. The bed was very comfortable, the room and bathroom were very clean, and the room even had a refrigerator and microwave. The TV had apps so customers could watch things like YouTube or access their subscriptions from their accounts. Overall above and beyond for a motel at that price. The walls were very well insulated, meaning even though it’s a motel we didn’t hear any noise outside and our motel room kept warm during the cold night. The staff were very friendly. This is a family owned business and you can tell that they are passionate about their business. Two of their cats greeted us through their window when they arrived. The staff encourage their guests to lock their doors and leave their key in the room when they check out if they check out early.

Cozy, comfy, and clean! Will definitely make another reservation next time im in the area!

Believe the 1 star reviews. I regret not doing so. I thought this was just an older motel that would still be clean and decent based on the other good reviews. I could not have been more wrong. We arrived at 3pm on a Friday and received keys to room 12. Walking to the room, we saw the "neighbors" sitting in their own portable chairs outside their rooms. (Only long term residents have their own chairs set up outside, not typical hotel guests). Upon entering, the room smelled musty. The bed had two tiny pillows placed upon a dark comforter. Deeper inspection showed a large stain the on the comforter at the foot of the bed. We then looked even more and saw more stains on the mattress cover under the sheets. Then I looked in the refrigerator to find a science experiment in a Styrofoam cup that had cola(?) in it at one time. The floor of the bed area had been upgraded, but the bathroom floor and shower floor were very tired and worn. They may have been clean, but the condition was so poor that one could not tell. The bathroom window was held open by 2 bars of soap wedged in the sill to hold it open to presumably help with the musty smell. It didn't help the smell, but verified the room was not secure as anyone could access the room from this open ground floor window. If you wanted privacy, the front blinds would not fully close either so there was not going to be privacy or security. There was a "rules" list sitting on the table that addressed things such as having the police called on you would lead to eviction! Not kidding. We were in the room 20 minutes...the time it took to find another room in another hotel. When I returned to the office to turn in the key, I explained that the room was unacceptable. The woman behind the counter didn't reply other than to state, "Good luck finding another room!" as she turned away. Thank goodness I had found another room, but I would have slept in my rental car before staying in this room. I have stayed in hundreds of hotel rooms all over the country over the past 25 years and I can confidently state that Room 12 of the Bozeman Ranch Hotel ranks as the worst hotel room I have ever set foot in. I have never had a reason to leave a one star review until now, but now I understand what a 1 star actually looks like. There is a reason the rooms here are half the price of others in town. Learn from my mistake. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
