The burger is fresh. The steak (14€) could be more seasoned. Great location. Friendly and quick service.

Very tasty food and portion size was also huge, good value for money and staff were very pleasant as well

Had a very pleasant meal here. The coffee after was superb too. I can thoroughly recommend a visit.

Fui con una amiga tomar un café y nunca fui tan mal atendida en mi vida. Dos camareros nos tratarán de muy mala manera, no tomamos el café , no nos tomo el pedido y nos dijo para marcharnos si no estábamos bien . No nos quiso dar la hoja de reclamación que es obligatorio. No lo recomiendo a nadie . Today I went to have a coffee with a friend and I have never been so badly taken care of in my life, first a waiter came with the menu, when I ordered the coffee he left without telling us 👎 We asked another waiter and he told us to leave if we were not well. I don't even wonder what we wanted, just have a coffee in the bracafe... We asked for the complaint sheet and he denied it to us, which cannot be done. We left without drinking coffee, xo. Very bad feeling because of the bad way they will treat us. I don't recommend it to anyone! Very bad!

Bracafé is a chain restaurant with multiple locations in Barcelona. We had a really late flight and needed a bite to eat after midnight. Catalan Seafood Platter: The platter contains shrimp, squid, clams, and mussels, all dressed in garlic, olive oil, and parsley, with a lemon wedge. Patatas Bravas: This dish is done very well here. The potatoes are soft and gooey in the center and crispy on the outside. The spicy bravas sauce is delicious and has a generous amount of smoked paprika. Calamari: The calamari is lightly battered and correctly seasoned. This plate didn't last long.

BARCELONA SPAIN: On the surface Bracafe looks like a nice restaurant w/a full component of drinks & live pianist. Bracafe is super super slow. If you're hungry or in a rush don't go here. It took over 1/2 an hour to place our order even though we sat there while other tables were served that came in after us. Once we ordered it took over an hour to get our food. We asked when the food was coming he said 5 mins. When he finally brought the food out John THE MANAGER slammed the food on the table & walked away. When my wife asked what was wrong he stormed away. We found out later John is the manager of this restaurant. The food wasn't even good. The pork my wife order was thin cut & super chewy (lousy quality meat). My fish & vegetables were ok but the service was atrocious. I don't know what was up his butt. Maybe he doesn't like Asian people. At any rate there was absolutely no excuse for his behavior. He was super rude. How do you have a person like him at that position? I will never come back here again

This is a great stop for tourists. The tapas were average but the fish of the day was extremely good. The price was not terrible. The pastries and desert was top notch Very friendly service.

Simple, refined, wonderful tapas dishes. The chorizo with peppers was some of the best I ever had. Also had the salmon with shrimp and garlic and the feta, cucumber and tomato salad drizzled with oil and balsamic. All in all really nice, pleasant tapas meal. Good friendly service as well. Would recommend.

Reasonable price for being near Plaza Catalunya, with good quality ingredients and fresh produce. You need to be patient and smile, you will be taken good care off. Just don't think this is a fast food joint. Respect the waiter's since this is a job they work hard at ;) Great place for brunch and breakfast.

Very good tapas place! The fried potatoes (potato chips) were very good. I had the entrecôte and it was well seasoned and delicious although a bit tough. Typical cut of this style though. Sangria was really good and the wait staff was very attentive. Worth a try if you are in the area and going for tapas or a quick meal.

On a recent trip to Barcelona, Spain, our group stopped in a small cafe for breakfast called Bracafé (Ronda de la Universitat, 35, 08007 Barcelona; +34 934 81 3327) near Plaza Catalunya in the center of Barcelona. In addition to tvs mostly showing the news at that time of the morning they have a grand piano at the ready right in the center of the room. I'm assuming that they have someone perform at some point during the day - in the evening would be my educated guess. Excellent breakfast selection and neat locale. They get you on the water if you don't specify regular tap water. They automatically bring you a bottled water for each person and charge you for each bottle. Food was great. If you're near Plaza Catalunya and looking for a quick sit-down bite, you can't go wrong with BRACAFE.

Great place especially if you are staying at the H10 Universitat and an early riser. The food is good and fairly priced too. We got a ribeye steak with veggies and extra 2 eggs for 11.60€ the steak was cooked perfectly with sautéed veggies: asparagus, eggplant, and squash. We came at 6am.

I have tried the food here yet but the coffee is good. It has a nice vibe and lot of variety to choose from.
