Disappointed is an understatement. My husband and I were ending our honeymoon here before driving back to Indiana (I am originally from OKC) and were extremely let down by the way we were treated. This place says 24/7 service, which is clearly not true.
I communicated twice that my husband and I would be arriving around 1am because we had a late flight. My sister picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at 1am, and the doors were locked and lights were off. I tried calling the front desk and leaving a voicemail, but we could see the phone ringing from outside. After standing around for 15 minutes, the side door to the restaurant was accidentally left unlocked, so we continued to wait inside. It was clear no one was coming, so I called my sister who had to turn around and drive another 20 minutes to pick us up. The second she called saying she was back, someone came and asked if that was us calling. They gave us a free bottle of champagne to make up for our wait which we appreciated. They were kind and clearly felt bad for what happened.
However, the following morning when we checked out, the lady at the front desk was very rude and impersonal to me and our situation.
After asking how everything went and I told her what happened with our waiting and check in, she condescendingly replied with the question, "Okay, but you got your room, right?" No apology or consideration whatsoever. She proceeded to tell us that since we were leaving this morning anyways that the place was nice to stay at for a short period of time.
Beyond frustrated with the attitude of the lady we dealt with considering our night. Sure, your place is cute, but that does not give you the right to dismiss your customers when YOU made a mistake. After having to rearrange plans, sit outside hoping someone would come, and have a family member drive back to get you and then back home AGAIN. Thankfully we didn't have to have an Uber, which would have been another story.
We were excited to try this place out and hated that our honeymoon ended this way. :(
