These Restaurants and Bars Are Worth the Drive to Columbia | Eater Nashville

"Bradley Mountain, the newest addition to the Arts District, is a retail store that serves coffee, beer, and has a solid menu of small plates. After stocking up on camping essentials, refuel with a freshly brewed cup of specialty coffee out in the green space, or relax with a cold beer and a hearty Outpost Bowl (quinoa, pickled beets, kale, butternut squash, goat cheese, and apple cider dressing) after a day of exploration. If you’re feeling adventurous, go for the tinned fish board — a curated assortment of premium preserved seafood, cheeses, and nuts. The deck out back hosts live music from local bands — check Bradley Mountain’s events calendar for more information on upcoming shows." - Chanel Rene

I've been to Bradley Mountain twice now and I have thoroughly enjoyed it each time! The staff are friendly, the coffee/food are fresh, plus the atmosphere is unique and cozy. I have ordered the Honey Vanilla Latte with oat milk twice, and was impressed each time! The pistachio croissant and fig & prosciutto toast were excellent as well. I like that there is bar seating as well as tables indoor & out. This is a great spot to hang out with a laptop if you WFH. Thanks for the great experiences!

This is in my top 3 favorite coffee shops anywhere. Vibes are immaculate, the espresso tonic is insane, and the clothes are outstanding. I rocked their waxed bomber all winter and spring. It's crazy to me that we have a place like this in Middle TN. Bradley Mountain makes you appreciate both the finer and the rugged things in life. I couldn't recommend it more to anyone visiting Columbia.

Love coming here! Yes its a bit on the pricer side but all coffee shops are now. I come here for a place to relax, work on homework and read a good book. Coffee is delicious, just know its small cups. again this is how all coffee shops are now. I also love how they have later hours too. We need more of that here.

Very chill vibes with a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They sell a variety of goods from tinned fish to candles to leather goods to fragrances. Columbia’s arts district, where this is located, is truly a hidden gem and a great place to explore.

This is a gem of a spot! I’m a coffee snob and really enjoyed my latte. The atmosphere is relaxed and has a cool vibe. I stopped by on a work trip and spent a couple hours there. If you have kids, there is a great grassy area outside for them to run around. 5 star experience!

Google
the coffee shop was a dream spot to walk into! everything so aesthetically pleasing, and some of the workers were really into the craft of coffee which was super cool to nerd out a little about. i just wish that they would specify that their avocado toast has goat cheese in it and the toppings on it so customers could be aware in case of preferences/allergies. also the bacon burrito was good, just wish for more of the green sauce and maybe some sour cream on the side haha. the coffee was delicious and not too sweet which is great for someone who loves to taste coffee rather than syrups. i would come back here again tho!

After moving to Columbia, we visited every coffee shop on the map. Every. Single. One. Some were just meh and some were downright awful. Thankfully, the Arts District offers up two of the best options, with Bradley Mountain being my all time favorite. ☕️ First off, the coffee is on point. All of it. Other benefits: Quiet enough for getting work done, great seating options, chill music that’s not obscure, aesthetically pleasing merch from their nationally-renowned leatherworks brand, and vintage vibes that don’t sacrifice comfort. For those with kids, this spot is also great! On rainy days, my daughter loves the minimalist play area (no obnoxious toys!) and on sunny days, she enjoys the grassy lawn while I sit on the patio. ☀️ And of course, the moose head. Can’t forget the moose head. 🫎

Yelp
One of the coolest spots in Columbia, TN! Such a unique customer experience with their USA made jackets, backpacks and other items being made right there connected to the coffee shop. Their breakfast burritos are amazing and they have the best lattes...highly recommend!

Yelp
Bradley Mountain is an absolute gem for Columbia! Their Brick and Mortar store doubles as a headquarters for their retail store and coffee shop. At this location they sell handmade leather goods such as jackets, totes, wallets, and decor. They also have a wide variety of soaps and candles, all of which smell amazing. I also was impressed by their stylish and classic looking shirts, bandanas, and hats! They are a little pricey overall, but I would take one of each! From the moment you walk up to the entrance, the cozy vibes begin. They have a large patio with string lights, outdoor seating, and shady trees. The inside is stunning, clean, cozy, and beautiful. I could truly move in, work here, or buy everything they sell. Personally, I'm not a coffee drinker, but I will say the food and drink menu is a little small. The foods are all more eclectic like quinoa bowls, breakfast burritos, and tinned fish. I am a little bit picky of an eater, and didn't find much to enjoy other than some baked goods from the pastry shelf (which were great). I wish the food and drink menu was larger or had better options for a wider audience. I saw a leather valet tray that I liked and wanted for my apartment. I was saddened to see that they were out of stock in the store front. Upon asking the cashier, she said they make all of the leather products in the back (which you can see from through the large factory-like windows). She said she thought they were already working on a fresh batch of the trays and would see if they could bring one out. In a few minutes, I had a brand new, freshly pressed tray from the back! It looks amazing in my new apartment. The team behind Bradley Mountain hosts regular events, and I have started to attend the monthly bingo night! It's a great opportunity to shop, eat, and socialize with friends. The prizes are amazing Bradley Mountain merchandise. The team really cares about quality and creating a welcoming space, and it shows in everything they do. I'm definitely a fan and will be back for more soon!

Yelp
Love the atmosphere- the inside is very cool and would be a great place to get some work done but then outside there is a wonderful big green space where kids all play making it also family friendly which is huge as a mom looking for a go to coffee spot. The coffee is good but it's definitely "craft coffee"- speciality roasted beans with a distinct flavor and flavored drinks are very lightly sweetened. Normally I'm asking for half sweet other places but here I almost need to ask for more. It's wonderful but if you like sweet coffee you may not be a fan. The "outpost bowl" is absolutely fantastic I get it everytime.

Yelp
A brilliantly done cup of coffee and relaxing experience. The staff are fantastic. We live in Franklin and this place is definitely a great place after eating at Mama Mila's restaurant.

Yelp
Super cute location, awesome outdoor space and great spot for a beer! Wish the food menu was bigger and better but it's not..... let's hope they grow that out and it will be awesome!

Yelp
It's one of my happy spots!! When you walk in it takes you to out West! Love the cappuccino and the Mexican mocha! The staff are always so kind! I love that the menu is simple, I feel like they really try to make quality drinks, so I appreciate that!

Yelp
Service was very friendly! The layout and design of the space is fabulous. Loved all the sitting areas inside and outside. Seems like a wonderful place to work for the remote worker. Had the Chai latte and it was delicious. The breakfast burrito with chorizo was good as well and filling. I didn't notice any egg in it but it was still tasty. Would definitely go back to try the coffee

Yelp
Such a cool coffee shop! Great Matcha & Coffee! Had a window looking into their leather shop & a ton of merchandise! The OakMoss & Amber candle was my favorite! Will visit again soon when back in Columbia, TN!

Yelp
Very nice coffee house for social gatherings. However as a visiting tourist the t-shirts jackets, hats &souvenirs are extremely expensive. Left without purchasing a single thing.
