Brady's Bar

We are confused on the negative reviews that tourists are not welcome. We had amazing service and treatment by both the regulars and servers. Jerry Lynn is a sweetheart and we felt like we were at home. Great drinks, my husband is a wing connoisseur and said these were the best wings (Mexican) he has ever had, I had the turkey cheddar sandwich, and it was off the chain, the garlic bread was great, and the pizza was OK. We ended up spending most of our time here in regards to restaurants.This bar makes us want to move to TC! Thank you for the warm invite!

I was really disappointed this time. I took friends and talked up the menu. The wings were great. Messy. Big. Saucy. Cooked well. The waitress was nice enough. The nachos were good as usual. That was about the end of the good. The burrito was about empty and had a ridiculous amount of sauce. The burgers were supposed to be cooked med rare and they were so over done and dry. It was a real bummer because I usually enjoy it. I guess we stick to the wings and pizza.

Terrible place of business. Our server basically forgot about us. And I could’ve gotten better food for price and quality from Subway (which is definitely saying something). The fact that this place is one of the highest rated places to eat in Traverse city is pretty telling. At least the scenery of the city is great.

Fun but saw the chef come out of the bathroom and go directly back into the kitchen and touch food without washing his hands. Used multiple communal door handles and knobs to get back. As I sit here waiting to pay, I see him through the kitchen opening and there’s no gloves but he does have a runny nose apparently because he keeps wiping it with his hands as he’s cooking. Hands are used, no gloves and I guess I washed, to touch all the food that goes out because that’s how they put it on the plates. Oh and he’s popping fries in his mouth as he plates them, so that’s an extra touch of service! Our waitress was amazing though and pool is only $1 so…..

Super local hang out kind of place. The bartender was kind, knowledgeable, and honest. I recently moved to TC and have been looking for a low-key place to just chat with people. This is it. They offer typical bar food, everything tastes great but it's not great for you. 😉 The pours are generous, and the bar was clean. There are pool tables and dining booths in the back. There's also a "wall of smallies" that any fisherman will appreciate!

Cool little neighborhood pub! Clean and nicely stocked with all your bar foods and brews! Light and airy feel too! A pool table in the adjoining room with a nuke box, and plenty of booths...feels so cozy!

Underrated lunch spot. Anne is awesome. Been coming here forever. 🍀

Had a craving for nachos and this is one of the few bars in town that still serve great traditional nachos (not pork belly with red cabbage or any of that nonsense :). Our waitress was very kind and did a great job. The nachos were awesome and layered really well. Can't say much about the atmosphere. It's a really old bar that is dark and hasn't been updated, but if you're looking for great bar food and nice people, this is a good stop. They had TV's to watch the game so we were happy and there was some serious pool play going on at the one table they have.
