"In the Arts District, Braeswood BBQ brings Tex Mex barbecue with a food truck that pops up until the restaurant opens in the Arts District this fall. Lately, the food truck parks at Beer District Brewing in the Arts District or Bad Beat Brewing in Henderson until it can open at 1504 S. Main St., next to the upcoming Western-themed speakeasy, the Horse Trailer Hideout, and the neighborhood’s first planned sports tavern. Options include baby back ribs, brisket tacos, spare ribs, a smokehouse burger, and sides such as cornbread and mac and cheese. Shrimp and grits, a fajita, and aqua fresca and sweet tea round out the menu." - Susan Stapleton

Great food! By far the best Mac n Cheese in town! Family owned and all fresh. Chef and staff are amazing, and would highly recommend coming here. Cheese fries are on the “secret menu” and are to die for. Cheese, fresh cilantro, onion and sour cream. Could eat here daily!

Got the taco & rib combo with agua fresca. The agua fresca was nice, not too sweet and refreshing. The ribs were smoked to perfection, fall off the bone, and like any good smoked meat didn’t need any sauce but the sauce that came with it was a bonus. The surprise of the meal were the tacos. The smoked chicken tacos were sublime. Really outstanding. I wanted to try the brisket but it is only available on the weekends. This is due in part to a shortage caused by the pandemic. I was talking to the chef about this and I know it myself from work, so many things are in sort supply. This also effects prices as well. Good BBQ is never cheap and add in the COVID situation and prices are a little higher than normal. I found this out from visiting my favorite BBQ place a few weeks ago and the prices had increased quite a bit. The tacos were so good I placed an order to go. I ordered 2 of each of the smoked chicken, brisket guisada, and smoked sausage and it was a good choice. I will be back one weekend to try the brisket and a side or 2. But I will definitely be back for Taco Tuesday’s.

Google
Amazing and authentic Texas BBQ in Vegas. Ask the owner for a tour of his amazing smoker out back. Delicious tacos, excellent smoked meats and top cocktails in a friendly laid back environment in Las Vegas, what more could you ask for?

Google
THE BEST BBQ IN VEGAS! This Downtown/Arts District establishment is fantastic. The customer service is top notch and the food is absolutely amazing. We had the brisket, guisada brisket, and smoked sausage as the main protein. Dirty rice with brisket, charro beans, and potato salad. Everything was fantastic, everything. The BBQ was great, but I didn't ask if they had a spicy BBQ. That would have been the cherry on top. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's a must for anyone wanting authentic BBQ and good vibes.

Google
BBQ is top notch. Guisada special was bang on. Brisket taco excellent and pork green salsa ideal. Great flavours and super friendly owner operator. They make their own clamato juice for the micheladas and you can tell- they are something else! Top tan 💯💯💯

Google
Went here wanting to eat in the “Arts District” get that people watching, while you eat dinner LOL. And I got exactly that with a tall stool facing the sidewalk table to eat at. This establishment is not large and wasn’t really busy at the time we went there on a Sunday night. I got a combo meal with brisket, green beans, and mac & cheese. The green beans were to die for. The mac & cheese was good I could’ve got a second helping of that. The brisket not bad, tad dry . All in all, I thought for it was a little over priced for what we got. The food was tasty and I do wanna go back and try the brisket tacos for sure. I heard they were good and that was after the fact so I’ll be back.

Every town (especially out west) needs a Texas style BBQ place like this . The Charro beans were some of the best i ever had . Baby back ribs were fall off the bone good and needed no sauce and the brisket is Texas style! The owner is super friendly and cordial . Best meal i have had in Las Vegas !

OMG! Sooooooo good. Being Tex-Mex, born in the Rio Grande Valley and raised in Austin, I know Tex-Mex BBQ fluently and Braeswood is legit. My elderly, old school Chicano parents love it, too, and they are super picky and critical. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming and fun. Great location, too, because you can walk around and shop or check out the nearby breweries. If you’ve relocated from TX to Vegas, definitely keep Braeswood on your list of regular go-to spots. Or if you’re a foodie visiting Las Vegas, you definitely want to add Braeswood to your itinerary.

Yelp
Went here wanting to eat in the " Arts District ". Got exactly what I expected . Parking not hard to find considering it was a Sunday night. They had three types of seating if I remember right. The one we chose was a tall table facing the sidewalk area w/ tall stools. Then they had picnic tables behind and seating inside the establishment. I ordered a combo meal with brisket green and a side and added an extra side. I thought the food was good and tasty. I really loved the green beans. I don't usually go for vegetables, but these green beans were delicious. The loved the Mac & cheese. I thought the brisket was a little bit on the dry side but wasn't bad. I just wish there was more food for the price . I will go back though for sure. I want to try the tacos and I was told after the fact that they are great .

Yelp
We had stopped in to the bar next door for a Yelp check in perk. As we were walking to the bar, we stopped and said "What smells so incredible?!" On the way back to the car, we decided to stop and get some BBQ to go. We ordered the 3x2 (3 meats 2 sides), which on the board was $36. $52 later (including tip), we took our food home. Honestly...the food was good, but was 100% not $52 good. The brisket was ok, but under seasoned. The ribs were excellent. The pastrami was just pretty good, but again, under seasoned. (St. Patrick's Day special). Mac n cheese: decent, but OMG this was an extra small side. Like...VERY SMALL. Dirty brisket rice: Best dish of the entire order. I'd go back again just for this. What I did not like AT ALL was the fact that they upcharged for the sides...if sides are included, they should be included...not a $2 upcharge for the 2 sides we ordered. Would I go back again? Sure. We want to try their fried chicken, but they were sold out, and I'd eat the hell out of more of that rice. Will I go out of my way to come back? Probably not at these prices.

Yelp
The food is really good!! But also really expensive. We came in on a Sunday evening so there were not many people around. We ordered 3 brisket tacos and a pulled pork sandwich. We thought the tacos would be ginormous because they were about $8 per taco, but they were not (see photo). Our total for dinner for 2 people came to about $60 which I thought was just outrageous. Don't get me wrong, the food was very delicious. We absolutely loved it and would happily eat it again, but I just did not think the price was justified. I would have a hard time recommending it just because of the price. But if you want good barbecue in art district, this place is good!

Yelp
My girlfriend comes here every week ... she convinced me to finally come and I'm glad I did . I had the "barria" tacos . They were so good and fresh. I love fresh cilantro ... this spot is a little piece of heaven. The cook's name is AL. He was awesome and can cook his ass off !!! Will be back next month !

Yelp
I saw their stuff online so I had high hopes. When I got there, they didn't even serve me in a real plate. It was extremely overpriced and the receipt didn't add up. I was going to say something but it took so long to get my food (even though I was the only person there) that I just decided to not say anything and go. The food was also not great. The brisket online looked really juicy as you could see mine was bone dry. The mashed potatoes weren't seasoned at all they were just a glob and the pulled pork was okay. The fries were good. Edit: I wasn't going to edit this but I decided to after reading multiple other replies from the business owner to his Yelpers. He told one person that if their fries were so salty they were inedible all they had to do was ask to have them remade. He told me to just order something else idk what else to order as I ordered every single side and meat that I liked and they were all subpar. Are we supposed to drive all the way back to your store for more disappointing food? Then he tells me that he uses paper plates because "it's not fine dining it's bbq" ..honey I eat to go every single day from plenty of mom and pop shops none of which seem to have an issue grasping the concept of styrofoam to go boxes, give me a break. Anyways, like I said before, the food was one star at best and now I'd say customer service is even worse

Yelp
Braeswood Tex-Mex Barbecue The Name tells you three things: First, it's going to be Houston, homies! Second: Tortillas, Brisket and Ribs will be spot on! Third: You Know the chef can cook if he is representing "Hustletown!" I came by after Mass and was not disappointed. Had the brisket and the smoked carne asada tacos, and dang! I could eat them every day. Fresh corn tortilla, nice and warm, with sauce, onions & cilantro combination, playing together with the meat, all the ingredients harmonious and not competing for your attention. Think Thelonious Monk if he played Tex-Mex in your mouth. The brisket was juicy and just a tad fatty, with a good bark and nice feel. (You know when it can be lifted by one hand and not fall apart on you, but will melt as soon as you want it to, that the pit master knows what he is doing!) Ribs were tasty but, my wife stole mine, so I probably have to come back for them. ( I mean I had like a piece of the bone left) :((( The place is a small, but fun, has that BBQ in a small garage feel and that is HustleTown all day! Perfect that it seems to be a converted downtown garage, too. The only thing that needs a bit of work would be seating. The chairs were a bit rundown outside and the front was a bit unmanageable to sit. If they can get that down, I think they are set. It's funny that new BBQ places always get the crank reviews, from pretentious posers, ("My plane had a two hour layover in Texas so I am practically a native, SO I KNOW what Tex-Mex BBQ is!!!" Or "My auntie was from Carolina so if they don't have this on the menu, it's not legit"). You know those kind of folks? As for me, the place is bomb. In the words of Houston rap legend, "The Ghetto Boys," "Dang, it feels good to be a gangsta!" BBQ gangster, that is. If you know, you know.

Yelp
Finger lickin' kind of meats and that's fine by me! Came over for an event to check this place out and was not disappointed. Located in downtown so this is a great place to people watch while eating. They have your standard selection of meats but with a Tex Mex flair. BBQ TACOS !! I've never had tacos and BBQ style meats together before and moving forward those 2 items will never be apart. The meat was so amazing, I was shocked! They have a nice smoker in the back and I love the pit master's style in flavor choices! I love BBQ and with so many BBQ joints around downtown, this restaurant is standing out! Loved their homemade sauce too- just the right amount of kick and sweetness. Had the ribs with chicken tacos and the ribs fell off the bone, perfect for dipping into that sauce! Cant wait to come back here and try more menu items

Yelp
This place was really neat it's literally a small bbq place on Main St. We had their Braeswood Burger and their Brisket. It was very good, came out hot and fresh their fries are great they have paprika on them never had that before. The employees were great they always made sure we had anything we needed. The chef also came out and asked us how are good one. That doesn't happen that often at places. It was a random place we saw and tried never hearing about it. Turns out it was a good place to eat and will be back.

Yelp
A guest told me this place was a go-to for BBQ right when I walked in. He wasn't lying. The flavors are amazing and so satisfying. The combination of the ingredients really works together so well and it's quality meat - not chewy, not cheap but tasty and seasoned well. The cornbread melts in your mouth but baked to perfection. Service is so nice! It's great going someplace where they are friendly, check-in on you and make it seem close-knit even though it's a smaller restaurant. Also, service was quick. Definitely would make a great lunch spot, or food on the go. Especially because I finished my food an hour later at home and it still tasted great. Taco Tuesday pricing was amazing. Honestly, cannot wait to come back to a homey, good food place. You can luck out on street parking, and hey it's a perfect spot to go down to in Arts District. Thank you, Braeswood, Yelp LV and Kayla for hosting this event. It was a pleasure to go to.

Yelp
Texas born brisket lover right here. When I heard Main Street was getting a "Tex-Mex" barbecue joint, you know I marked my calendar and headed over. My guy and I went in for a weekday lunch, enjoyed on their back patio by the smoker. I went about a week after they opened, no major issues with the food or service. Know that the vast majority of seating (all but about about six bar seats?) is outdoors, so avoid the hottest parts of the day. The food was pretty decent. The brisket was fatty-cut, which is what I came for. Some of the pieces I got had a large amount of bark on them, which was not what I would have preferred. We also tried their carnitas, which just didn't do it for me but their ribs were solid. I do wish they had more house barbecue sauce options, as I did not care for the sweet one we were given. The macaroni and beans were both good sides, but I'm hoping they upgrade to cups rather than the flimsy cardboard boats they were served in when we went. I also had the queso appetizer- overpriced at $8 to be served with stale, bulk-bag tortilla chips but the queso itself is one of the best I've had outside of the lone star state. Service was polite. We ordered the 2x2 but somehow received (and were charged for) the 3x2 instead - not sure what happened there but the ribs we got were good, so no real complaints there. Their social media occasionally promotes specific deals or dishes like their taco nights, which is cool. I don't care for the way they post about their female staff but I will probably come back for more brisket and queso when the craving strikes.

Yelp
So happy there was a YEE to introduce this great little business. It's only been opened for about 2 months so I'm sure they're still ironing out the kinks but they really are doing a great job. YEE provided the taco/rib/drink combo and we added 2 carnitas tacos. Probably not the best, but certainly not the worst, part of town. Parking on the street was free. Cute little garage type setting. Not a ton of seating, inside or outside. Really clean!! The YEE provided 2 smoked chicken tacos, one rib with an Aqua Fresca drink combination. Both the carnitas and chicken tacos were great! Great flavor. Not too spicy, which made me very happy! The rib was so tender! Fall off the bone tender! They don't put the BBQ sauce on the rib but they give it to you on the side. I really liked this because as much as I like BBQ sauce I hate when there's just so much you can't taste the meat and I'm not a fan of getting it all over the place. The sauce was a sweet, smokey kinda flavor and was nice. The rib was a little fatty but the meat was great! I had never had Agua Fresca and I don't think I'll ever have another. It really was a tough drink to try and enjoy. Maybe it's an acquired taste? Nice little business with great flavored BBQ!!

Arlene P.

Yelp
Amazing BBQ!! Everything came out so delicious. We ordered the brisket taco, ribs & brisket. For sides we chose dirty rice & southern green beans. All the meat was tender & had great flavor. I love the Arts District so the location adds to the allure.

Gilbert S.

Yelp
Smokin Brisket this place is good! Ordered the brisket tacos & the Mac n cheese. These men were working in the back getting out the fresh food made to order. The brisket was soo tender, juicy and flavorful! On a crisp warm tortilla with a spicy sweet bbq salsa! Your taste buds will thank you! The Mac n cheese was creamy, cheesy and ooey gooey. Def reccomend this place. The manager is super nice and was taking about how they brought Houston to Las Vegas. Will definitely come back! The hospitality was great. Thank you

Danielle N.

Yelp
Husband and I were having the annoying "what do you feel like eating?" Conversation. So I pulled up Yelp and found tacos and ribs, 2 birds 1 stone. To me perfect! Let's go! It was about 5:00 on a Friday, streets weren't to busy yet

Porter S.

Yelp
The more I look back on this place, I become a little less impressed, all due to one thing. Serving size. Fun decor. Friendly staff. But the serving sizes of our meals were very lacking.

L B.

Yelp
We tried the brisket tacos and ribs and were impressed!! The meat was the most tender we have ever had and the tortilla was super tasty as well. The team was nice and quickly had us served. The music in the background was a nice touch to the quaint atmosphere. Thank you! We will definitely be back!

Mary R T.

Yelp
The brisket is amazing. We had the brisket plate with brisket dirt rice. Absolutely delicious. We also had brisket tacos! Beat tacos ever and their homemade green sauce to go on top was the best. So many things on the menu we wanted to try but we're to full. Heard so much about how delicious the Mac and cheese is and the BBQ sandwiches! We will save those for next times as well as the burnt ends! Thanks again for the amazing ford and great service. You guys are the best!!! Affordable prices. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Louie S.

Yelp
Smoking flavor! We stopped by for YEE and ordered a little extra. We went with Pulled pork, sausage and chicken for our meats. We went with Mexican rice and Brussel sprouts for sides. The location is in a bit of a rough area and parking is a bit challenging. If you can find something on the street take it, otherwise you'll have to find paid parking like we did at the Comedy Club

Courtnee A.

Yelp
I found out about this place from a Yelp event and it's now my new taco Tuesday spot!! I got 4 chicken tacos to-go for $8.69 The flavor is really tasty and the salsa they use is amazing Definitely recommend with the BBQ sauce Everyone working there is so sweet and friendly Parking is a little bit of a hassle but I didn't have a problem the last two times.

Amanda W.

Yelp
Purchased a Groupon for this location and it was the best thing eaten this trip in Las Vegas. It was a chicken dinner, which came with two pieces of chicken and 2 sides. He chose potato salad and I chose rice. Rice was amazing, I didn't really care for the potato salad- it was okay, just never really went out to a Tex mex restaurant for potato salad. Chicken was excellent- had a smoky taste to it! Cool little place- I would come back to have a beer or two!

Cyndy W.

Yelp
I did a YEE review for Braeswood. I just wanted to add more pics of the other food I ordered. Super friendly staff, good smoke ring on the ribs, delicious tacos that taste FRESH, brisket guisada taco and Mac & Cheese!! All we delish!! Cute little place next to great breweries. We will DEFINITELY head over here during our pub crawls for some seriously good eats!! Actually now we have another reason to come to this cool part of town! It's not just about the beer anymore!!

Vivien L.

Yelp
Thanks so much Kayla and Braeswood for a wonderful elite experience! Came around noon and was able to find free street parking right out front. There are a few picnic tables in front of the shop but no customers were there when I arrived. The woman at the counter greeted me and quickly got my order in. They were out of the Aqua Fresca, so she substituted a regular soda for me in the adorable Yelp tumbler. The theme of this shop is unique and there are little decorations throughout the interior. They also had cold water set up in a self serve station for everyone which I appreciated. I found it super interesting that they have posole ramen here!!! Never heard of this before so I'm intrigued to try next time. Now let's get to the food... love the fact that the kitchen is open and you can see the chef preparing your food. My order came out fast and they provided me with a to go box with bbq sauce inside. Unfortunately the food wasn't too agreeable with my palette. The chicken tacos were topped with so much cilantro that it was all I could taste. The rib was fatty - the little meat that was there had good flavor though. Their sauce is a great mix of smoky and sweet, which is my favorite! Overall a good experience, I would just tailor my order a little more to my liking next time. Thanks again!!

Benita C.

Yelp
My boss wanted to try the food here because he wants to cater BBQ for a work lunch but wanted to try it first. So we came over a little after noon. There are 3 of us. After seeing the other reviews I have to assume we came on an off day because we really wished we'd gone somewhere else. The chalkboard menu was very limited! We ordered 2 brisket sandwiches and one burger. One person wanted Mac & cheese as their side. They didn't have any. So he got fries instead. I wanted collard greens and the gentleman working said they didn't have them and then the cook said they had some left so I got those...not sure when they were left over from. While we were ordering the guy said "I don't even know why I'm here" so that was weird. We sat down and the server brought out food to one of us. It wasn't a sandwich. We thought it was weird, then the cook yelled at the guy and told him he gave it to the wrong guy! There were only 2 tables. So he came out and took it back. Then we saw a plate get served to the next table. Same plate? Not sure. Then he came over and told my boss "I don't know why I'm here, we don't have burgers." He asked what his options were and was told he could have anything. So he ordered a a brisket plate. Our food came out and the fries were almost raw, the sandwich had just a spot of bbq sauce, I had to ask for more. And were told the cook was making some. Uh what? This bbq restaurant doesn't have bbq sauce? Weird. He ended up getting me a little that I shared with my friend. He also brought my collard greens, pretty disappointing. I didn't even finish them, didn't finish my 1/2 cooked fries and our sandwich buns were fairly charred but not burnt and the brisket was cold. I'm hoping it was just an off day for them but chances are once was enough for the three of us. And needless to say we will cater lunch for the group from someplace else.

H.R R.

Yelp
Bbq and service was great. Sangria not pictured was perfect on the patio. Considered tex mex style.

Noemie M.

Yelp
I took my boyfriend with me since he loves barbecue. The location is easy to find. And the ambience is very unique. The cashier Kri, was so nice and friendly. She is very accommodating to us and even explained the menu to order more. Since they ran out of Fresca that night, she offered us a different drink. I chose to try the orchata but very disappointed. It just tasted water with sugar. But the food is really good especially the ribs. There's a BBQ sauce on the side but I didn't even use it coz the ribs itself is already tasty. Thank you to Chef G and Frankie for preparing the delicious food.

Keith Y.

Yelp
Tacos and ribs together at last I really liked the food and the vibe, this place is definitely worth a try

Katherine A.

Yelp
SO DELICIOUS. The Brisket and guisada TACOS ARE SLAPPING The green beans cooked to perfection. One of the best tacos I have ever eaten !!!!!!!! You must try your self.

Andre B.

Yelp
I had been wanting to go here for forever and it certainly didn't disappoint! If you go with someone, get the 2x2 or 3x2 (2 or 3 meats with 2 sides), it's a great deal. I got the brisket which melted in my mouth, the smoked and fried chicken which was crispy heaven and the ribs were fatty and tender greatness. The service was outstanding too. Can't wait to go back!

Justine H.

Yelp
You should be a shame of yourself, I was just being honest, regardless to your criticism I have and will continue to returned to your restaurant, maybe your were having an off day the day you were rude. I get it it's hard to work with the public I work at Costco so I get it. I lOve my neighborhood and will continue to support local businesses, even yours God bless you always and your business

Deanna R.

Yelp
Birria Brisket tacos are amazing. The mac n cheese is the best I've had in town. Staff and chef are amazing not mention their homemade salsas are to die for. Highly recommend this place. Also the cheese fries with fresh cilantro, onion and sour cream were bomb AF.

Kevin B.

Yelp
I'm guessing the quality they served on their opening day was a one time fluke? I have been trying to come here again since they opened and either they were out of food a hour after opening, or they weren't open due to the cooks not showing up. Complete waste of gas and time. After finally being able to show up when they were open and had food, what I was served was way lower in quality than what I had the first time here. Ribs were smaller, less meaty, and tough. Carnitas were tough, and smaller portion. The potato salad was "cut" with more mustard and was almost soupy. While the brisket was the most similar in taste to my first visit, smaller pieces and less slices were served. Everything tasted like corners were cut to save money with no regard to quality. I'll give this establishment some time to find their grove and come back in a few months. With other nearby recently opened bbq joints that consistently put out high quality food, this establishment is a pass, for now.

Nathaniel 'Nate' J.

Yelp
Best BBQ in town...period. My prayers were answered when we finally got some real Texas BBQ in Vegas. I have had every bbq spot in Vegas (and a ton more in Texas) and Braeswood beats them all. Personal favorites are the brisket (prefer the fatty) and the links. Max n cheese is insane too. Top it off with a Shiner and Big Red and you are good to go.

Chris G.

Yelp
Awesome place with a chill vibe for some delicious Tex-Mex BBQ. We usually craving this place after a week, the brisket is amazing, as well as everything else. Chicken tacos and brisket birria are some of my favorites. Good beer selection, indoor and outdoor seating, good food everytime. Check em out you with be happy you did!

P Y.

Yelp
Great location with outdoor views and good service. The brisket tacos did not disappoint.

William K.

Yelp
I almost walked by this place, and I'm so happy I stopped in. I'm not going to say much. I'll just say their brisket is shockingly good. Their brisket taco should be in some sort of taco museum. They have a great back patio. Very friendly service. A really nice michelada. Reasonably priced for the quality of food. That's all! If you're in the area, just go.

Gregory N.

Yelp
Best BBQ I've had in my life, not only because of the quality of the ingredients but also the unexpected twist that they put into each item on the menu. Plentiful portions coupled with thoughtful preparation at a reasonable price makes this my go-to BBQ spot in Vegas. and the location in the arts district makes it a fun experience as well. 5 genuine stars.

Cinditita T.

Yelp
The Best Brisket in town will definately come back, tacos where very flaverful and fresh

Courtney M.

Yelp
Mood- TexMex Upon entering it was not the best experience. I would have figured eye contact or even a hello, something. I am usually inquisitive asking questions to get a feel for the company and what I am going to eat. This was not the case at all. It seemed highly rushed even though it was not packed in there. Literately only 2 other tables. You order at the counter, find seating, and wait for your food order to be called. I had a YEE deal that came with a 2 taco rib combo and Agua Fresca, and I bought 6 more tacos. I inquired what flavors they had for the Agua Fresca as on the menu board it doesnt list them. I guess that must have upset the gentleman behind the counter as he said very sharply    " Jamaica" - I never ate here before, so I would not have known. The flavor of the tacos were nicely done. I havent had Tex-Mex style in a very long time and it reminded me of some parts of Texas when I go to visit. Interior is very neat. It has a garage style roll up door with lots of decor adorning the walls. There is outdoor seating as well. Everything was very clean. Staff were wearing masks to ensure safety. Would recommend for someone wanting to try Tex Mex. Pricing in my opinion for the portions is high. But the taste was very good. After the customer service I had here, I cant say that I personally would want to come back and entertain it again. I wish I had the same experience as some of my other fellow Yelpers did. However I cant lie and say it was great when it wasnt. So I hope other people dont have to experience what I did. Location is Main/ Utah - ample street parking, free and lots for a fee

Adriana F.

Yelp
Got the Brisket taco and brisket enchilada and holy wow! Amazing! Small spot but worth going.

Yelp
i love just down the street but haven't had a chance to try braeswood until today. battling a massive hangover and all i needed was good greasy food that wasn't too pricey and boy did they deliver. they brine the chicken for 24 hours i think leading to its juiciness and flavor, and the skin is fried to a beautiful seasoned crisp. i got the brisket dirty rice for a side and it's just as good. very much worth the $15 which is not too expensive at all being in arts district. i ordered pickup so can't speak too much to the service but they were very polite and i got an extra side of hot sauce. overall great experience, will definitely go again for my hangover cure and check out the pozole next.

Yelp
Finally decided to go here after walking by a few times and always thinking it smelled delicious. The only disappointment is that we hadn't stopped by sooner. Got the two tacos (brisket) and two ribs combo and both were delicious. Staff was excellent and they provided a great taste of Texas bbq in the middle of the Arts district. Highly recommended!

Yelp
It is not a ridiculous review the guy at the register was extremely rude. I am just speaking on how our experience went. Other reviews have mentioned the same thing.

Yelp
Barria " Tacos BrisketPosole RamenRibs It was all good very intimate hard to say it's pricey but it's not cheap the guys seems very dedicated and passionate about his food and restaurant. the ramen was delicious and would go back just for that it's in a great spot to sit in people watch indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
If I was writing a review based on the quality of the food and service, it would be five stars straight up. If I was writing a review just based on value, it would only be one star. Since I'm reviewing all of the above, I'll split the difference. The food is fantastic and so is the service. I tried several things on the menu and loved them all. I purchased the Posole Ramen and I loved it. The smoked meat was tasty, the broth was exceptional and the noodles were perfect. The problem was that I paid $14-$15 for a tiny Styrofoam cereal bowl of it. When I say "tiny" I mean like the size they'd give to a grade school kid to put cereal in the cafeteria. When I first started eating pho 15 years ago, I got nearly 2 quarts of it for around $6. Since I moved here, I've eaten a lot of ramen and Chinese hand-pulled noodles. I pay between $8 and $12 for those and typically get at least a quart, if not more and there is a lot of meat, veggies and noodles in them. This was unacceptably, ridiculously small for even half that price. As much as I loved it, I won't be back. The quality does not offset the terrible value.

Yelp
Place is scary. Owner is also scary. Were out of most food. Customer in front of us kept asking for food kept saying was out. Sorrie left but my advice is go next door to brewer next door

Yelp
Watching this Tex-Amex Bbq Joint on social media one gets the idea that they are struggling to find their identity in a town that is just starting to understand the Barbecue scene. That couldn't be further from the truth! Tex-Mex isn't just a Brand it's a Lifestyle, and Gerald Casas II is fully immersed in it! We snuck in early on a Sunday morning to check out their Brunch. This place is a True Texas Joint from the picnic tables to the bottles of Shiner Bock to the smell of Post Oak in the air. This super cool little spot is cranking out authentic Texas Flavors! We had some Sangria that was delish! A couple cold beers and an assortment of tacos and sides and even some biscuits and gravy with what else? Chorizo and eggs! Check out the photos and then come in and check out the food for yourself and try to tell me I'm wrong! I dare ya! Can't miss it on Main St. and Utah in the arts district just doors away from the Abel Baker Brewery! We will definitely return for some Ribs and Brisket!

Yelp
Had lunch here yesterday and it was great! Tucked away in the "hidden gem" area of downtown Las Vegas on Main Street near the art district. They have a nice selection of BBQ favorites. We took ribs to go and they were smoked perfectly! But I have to say, their mac n cheese might be the best I've had. It's hard to get that creamy, salty, cheesy balance, but they nailed it!!! Will definitely add this to my faves. Friendly staff, good price, and they have beer and wine too!

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick bite today. So delicious! We had the tacos, ribs brussel sprouts and the best potato salad I've had in my life. You all seriously need to go check this place out when you can. I'm ready to go back because I want to try their brisket. They also have pozole ramen on the menu which sounds very interesting. Can't wait to go back. Keep up the good work!
