Brainwave Pizza

Being a Brooklyn native, I’m a huge pizza snob, and frankly my experience with pizza in Atlanta has been underwhelming to say the least. I’ve seen that some places in the city tend to lean on the size of their pizzas as almost a gimmick, however their crust is typically bland and the pizza lacks character. I’m so glad to now have Brainwave in my life to satisfy my pizza cravings. Their crust is sourdough, making it exceptionally flavorful and their topping options are unique and delicious. Their pizza is also pretty affordable, much cheaper than places nearby. My friend was able to get two slices of cheese for $8, which was a great value for an entire meal. They also offer bar pies and Detroit pan pizzas as well, though I’m partial to the classic New York slice as that’s what I grew up on. I’ve been in 5-6 times now and I was surprised to see any negative reviews as I believe this place is a true hidden gem. I’ll be eating here as much as I can until Portnoy shows up and there’s a line out the door!

Pizza is so ridiculously good! Also love the merch. I got the white garlic ricotta, sausage, and hot pepperoni slices. Each flavor profile is unique and cooked to perfection. Love the sauce on the two red slices and the crust has a great chew. Also got the incredibly tasty ranch. Brainwave is gonna dominate Decatur’s pizza scene.

This pizza 🍕 was AMAZING! My new favorite place in Atlanta. I saw the Ad for it on my IG and had to try it and boy it did not disappoint. I couldn’t decide so I ordered multiple slices and a Square pizza. The crispiest pizza I’ve had in a while, honestly how a pizza should be! It was delicious, thank you

I was skeptical and boy was I wrong. The normal pie was very good. Toppings were solid. Cheese was nothing crazy but it was well baked. Square pie is a lot of bread but again, baked well and very tasty. Both pizzas weren’t too greasy and had a lot of flavor. A fantastic pizza place!

Genuinely amazing and authentic New York pizza in Decatur. Finding a vodka slice in Georgia is already rare, but finding one that’s this good is unheard of. The crust/dough was amazing and so was the sauce. I only wish the basil was added after it was in the oven so it was more flavorful, but I can’t complain.

Another great addition to Atlanta's pizza scene, and Brainwave is already among the best. The slices are amazing, perfect NYC style, and the garlic knots are a must order. Can't wait try their bar pie which is a rare style to see in the city.

Brewery with an amazing pizza place. What is there not to love. Got a white pizza and added ‘shrooms and sausage. Fantastic pairing with their fruited sours and a Märzen.

The sour dough pizza crust is so yummy. Also, don’t forget to get ranch- I need it sold by the bottle cause 🤤. Tried the garlic knots, pepperoni, vodka sauce, and a bar pie. All were solidly good! There are so many options for different crust/toppings and I can’t wait to try them all!

Best set up ever with great food and beer selections! I do have a theory that this is just glide pizza still because the ranch is 100% the same and it's so unique. I'm obsessed with Brainwave and Glide so all good. Counter service but quick and friendly service! The ambiance is a brewery but still updated and very cute! Only downside is you cannot custom slices - only full pizzas! Get the vodka slice it is perfect!

Heard through the grapevine Brainwave Pizza is great, and I can confirm it is! You order at the counter and get a number. Open seating. Fantastic New York style pizza here. Sauce, crust, and cheese were all on point here. Can't wait to come back!

I don't wanna cause a riot, but this is better than Glide!!! Favorite was the White Pizza!! Also liked the Vodka. Ranch is perfection. As always chill vibes at Inner Voice and friendly pizza dudes. Love it, will be back!

Pizza was super flavorful! It was pretty structured and crispy! The sourdough crust was definitely a hit! It was perfectly chewy and crispy at the same time. I really enjoyed the sausage pizza. I would say the hot pepperoni was just a little too sweet. The service was okay and we had to wait a bit to order even though it was not busy. Overall, the prices were decent and this was a nice place to pick up quick slices of pizza.

This is the best pizza I've had in Atlanta! It was as quick was possible, cute inside, and the people who were working were friendly. There's not much to note here given I just got a regular cheese pizza, but it was awesome.

This is the best pizza in ATL!!!! This pizza is so good the crust makes everything with the sourdough and on top of it They have the spicy oil to put on it. We also tried the square pizza It was OK ,but the thin and crispies where it's at . Definitely recommend this place Just wish it wasn't so far for me We live in Woodstock.

Amazing pizza! Love that there are multiple types. Beer and other bar drinks are top notch and the actual space and staff are very chill.

Outstanding! I was lucky enough to be there on a day (T/W/Th) that they serve tavern style crust. It is definitely the best in ATL. Portnoy needs to come back.

INCREDIBLE beer is brewed here INCREDIBLE pizza is baked here. Humans and yeasts come together in a spellbinding union that sidesteps space, time, and even the Romans. The inner voices will speak to you upon your first sip/bite and remind you to that this mortal coil can transcend dimensionality into possibility eternal. Sidenote: The Festbier known as Imaginary People is deserving of many awards & accolades.
