"Braised + Bread is a Cambodian/Filipino place in the top-floor food court of the Crocker Galleria that serves a mixed menu of things like chicken wings, rice plates, and sandwiches that are all under $10. We like the pork sandwich with salty braised pork, cucumbers, and jalapenos on a soft roll and the Our Filipino Friends rice plate that’s a combo of wings and a fried egg served over rice with their sweet and salty master sauce. Whatever you get, take it up to the roof garden and enjoy it in the freshest air you can find in the middle of the city." - Will Kamensky

Delicious food and friendly service from a “mom and pop” establishment here in the city, yes please!! The chicken wings were super fresh and crispy. The water Buffalo sauce is great as is the sweet and spicy garlic. My friend raved about the lemon pepper wings. I would definitely come back to try the other flavors, looking forward to the habanero flavor!

Shlap Muan's a small chicken joint on the third floor. Kitchen is really clean and you can watch your order as it's prepared. You can get wings dry or wet, and even the fries come flavored upon request. The chicken is crunchy but not overcooked/dry and there's a decent selection of sauces to choose from both on wings and on the side (I recommend buffalo. Allittle heat and full of flavor). The owners are pretty chill yet professional, and they'll remember you after just one visit. Some of the best damn wings in SF

So good! This is the crunchiest chicken wings I've ever eaten. They have different dry rubs for you to choose from. I chose the Cambodian Dirt (lemongrass pepper) and it was really good for someone who does not want something too spicy. Thinking about going back there for seconds. 😀

Amazing. The service was top tier and quick! Amazing flavors and came out quick too. The wings are flavorful and CRUNCHY!! My favorite was the Spicy Cambodian Dirt! I’ve never tasted anything like it. Oh and don’t forget the Australian soda. Peach flavor!!!!

Great little Mom and Pop restaurant in Crocker Galleria. Had the Cambodian Dirt wings dry rub and loaded with flavor, but not hot. Spouse loved the Orange Habanero. The sweet garlic wings were also extremely tasty. Open only for lunch. Ready to try their other flavors!

We’re visiting San Francisco and we just happened to pass by. I’m so glad we did, because the wings were absolutely delicious! I got the Cambodian Dirt flavor with the Sweet Spicy Garlic sauce and my boyfriend got the Orange Habanero wings. The side of rice with a fried egg was a surprisingly good pair. I even ordered some for the road after my meal. The owners were so kind and personable to us. Next time I visit SF, I definitely need to come back. Or maybe Shlap Muan can branch out to Florida some day? (P.S. Anyone who has trouble finding it: On on the 3rd floor of the Crooker Galleria all way in the back corner, diagonal to the bathrooms)

Just stumbled on this spot in the Crocker galleria and it is a great addition to the Financial District lunch options! Quick and very friendly service. The food is a nice alternative to what I consider fairly standard fare in this plaza. I went with 3 other coworkers and ate in the room next door. Everyone was very happy with their order and already talking about coming back. I had the chicken and rice bowl with a side of pork broth. Fantastic for a rainy day.

Tasty, tasty, tasty wings. I did the dry rub and it's was perfectly seasoned and crispy. The pork rice bowl was a symphony of flavor.
